Chapter 154

The next day, after the show, the girls are all hanging out in a conference room in the hotel. They are all sprawled out over the floor, and many of them are wearing onesies.

Pippa is wearing an Olaf onesie, Jazzy is wearing a Minnie Mouse onesie, and Lana is wearing a Dory onesie. The three of them are all sharing a blanket as the whole group engages in a game of truth or dare.

"Hmm, Carleigh, truth or dare?" Kaitlyn asks.

"Dare!" Carleigh exclaims, causing everyone to laugh.

"Hmm," Kaitlyn ponders, knowing that she can use this opportunity to do some wild things. "Go knock on Anthony's door and screech like a velociraptor."

"Done," Carleigh replies.

"Oh, THIS, I have to see," Jazzy smirks. "That man is not happy when he is woken up from his beauty sleep."

Jazzy follows behind Carleigh as they make their way down the hallway to the room that Jazzy confirms belongs to her future husband, along with Oak and Daveed. Seeing as it is almost 1:00 in the morning at this point in time, they are almost positive that the guys are asleep.

"You're probably going to wake up the entire hotel," Jazzy laughs.

"Worth it," Carleigh smirks, as she pounds on the door. She sits on the floor so that nobody can see her through the peephole and once she hears a grunt from inside of the room, she screeches as loudly as she can before crawling away on her hands and knees for a few feet, then standing up and running back to the staircase with Jazzy, who has doubled over with laughter.

"I got that whole thing on film," she smirks, to which Carleigh's eyes widen.

"Please tell me that it is going on Instagram..."

"Of course it is."

As they are walking down the stairs, they hear the door open from a floor above them, then a voice which clearly belongs to Oak, though it sounds much more like Mickey Mouse. Why, exactly, Oak is using his Mickey Mouse voice, they aren't quite sure.

"Carleigh Bettiol, if that was you, then you are going to have three very angry men on your hands tomorrow at rehearsal!"

"NO!" Carleigh screams, before Jazzy claps her hand over her friend's mouth and then run out of the stairwell.

"Well, we have quite the story for the girls..." Carleigh laughs.

"Oh, yes we do..." Jazzy agrees.

When the the girls join the group again, they tell their story, to which Kaitlyn laughs so hard that she spits out her lemonade. "That's the actual greatest thing I've heard in a month."

"Okay, Carleigh was a good sport about that dare. She gets to ask someone now," Araella announces.

"Hmmm... Jazzy..." Carleigh smirks.

"Oh God..." Jazzy mutters under her breath. "Truth, I guess."

"Okay..." Carleigh replies, pondering what she could ask. "What's your favorite kind of dinosaur?"

Everyone snaps their heads around to stare at Carleigh. Only she would ask that kind of strange question.

"I mean... that's not a very juicy question, so I can't complain..." Jazzy laughs. "I'll probably have to go with a pterodactyl... I don't really know why, but they're cool because they fly."

"Alright, that's fair," Carleigh laughs. "I'm a little bit offended that it wasn't a velociraptor, since that's what I am, but it's okay... I'll survive, I promise."

Everyone laughs as Carleigh overdramatically falls over, and fakes sobbing into her pillow.

"Jazzy gets to ask now!" Lana says.

A smirk grows on Jazzy's face. "Pip, you knew it was coming."

"I hate you," she groans, with a little bit of a giggle.

"Truth or dare, Phillipa Soo?"

"Truth," Pippa replies, worried as to what will come next.

"Tell us how you really feel about Steven."

Pippa blushes and stares at her hands in her lap. "Okay, if I'm being totally honest, I never thought that I would find the right person for me... especially after what I went through in college, but I did, Jas. I just love him so, so much, and I really think that we will get married someday. Maybe not for a while, but someday. Honestly, I've even envisioned us having children together, which I've never did with... well, you know... I just want a future with him more than anything else in the world. He's taught me what true love is."

"Okay, that's the cutest freaking thing that I've ever heard," Jazzy says, giving her friend a hug. "I'm so glad that you've finally found happiness, Pips. I've been waiting so long to hear those words come out of your mouth. A woman without love wilts like a flower without sun."

"Oh my God, did you just quote Amelie?"

"Oh, did I?" Jazzy smiles, cheekily. "I didn't notice."

Pippa erupts into giggles. "I love you Jazzy."

"Love you too, Pips," she smiles. All of the girls know that it will be moments like this that they will miss most when the tour is over.
