Pippa and Jazzy somehow are able to catch Lin on FaceTime the next day. They hadn't expected him to actually pick up, but he did.

"Lin!" Jazzy squealed. "You're a double father!"

"That's not a thing," Pippa said, rolling her eyes.

"Well, I think it is," Jazzy replied sassily. "How's the baby? How's Nessa?"

"She's good!" Lin said excitedly. "Both of them are doing well, and they're coming home today, so I'm getting Averie's room ready."

"Averie is a really pretty name, just so you know, Lin," Pippa said. "I love it, and it fits your family so well."

"Thanks, we just kind of... flipped through random Playbills and saw something we liked. I don't remember who had the name Averie, or what company she was in, but, yeah. It's probably the geekiest thing to do to pick a name, but oh well."

"No, it's cute," Jazzy reassured him. "Next there will be a Jasmine, right?"

"Absolutely not," Lin laughed.

"Why not?"

"There are many Jasmines in my life, I don't want to mix you all up. You all deserve to be unique and not have to share," Lin said.

"What other Jasmines are there? I thought we had a thing going, Lin. I thought I was special, but now I found out that you've been Jasmine-cheating with all these other Jasmines?" Jazzy demanded.

"Oh, Jazzy," Pippa giggled.

"Vanessa and I talked about Jasmine and then we were like... no... there's Jasmine Cephas Jones and if anyone heard they'd think we named her after you, and-"

"You just keep digging yourself a bigger hole, Lin Manuel Miranda," Jazzy said threateningly.

Lin raised his hand in defeat. "Sorry, Jazzy."

"Did you give Averie any of her stuffed animals?" Pippa asked. Lin started laughing.

"What's so funny?" Jazzy demanded.

"We gave her them, but you'll never believe what her favorite is," Lin said. Pippa and Jazzy exchanged confused glances.

"It's gotta be the one from me, right?" Jazzy said.

"No, it's Carleigh's. The velociraptor one."

Jazzy fell off the bed, she was laughing so hard. Pippa smirked. "Of course it is. Only Carleigh. She'll be thrilled to hear about it."

"How's the cast doing?"

"They're good, Daniel's been a great addition. We're all thinking about how close the end is, but we're happier now. Carleigh's pretty sick right now, but we're excited about Averie!"

"I'm glad everything's going better. I wish that we hadn't hired James in the first place," Lin said. "And tell Carleigh to feel better soon. I'll send a picture of Averie with her velociraptor."

"We'll make sure to tell her," Pippa promised. "Say hi to Vanessa for us."

"Of course. I probably should continue getting the room ready, but I'll talk to you all later, I promise," Lin said. "Have a good show!"

"Bye, Lin!"

The atmosphere backstage was... interesting. Everyone was thrilled about Lin and Vanessa, but not everyone was happy.

Mainly Jessa and Lana.

Lana didn't know what to do. Part of her wanted to tell her family about the fact that she was bi, the other part was afraid of what they might do. She wished she could just deal with it by herself, and not have to talk to them.

But Jessa was right- if she was hiding this from her family, it could mean that she wasn't willing to commit to a relationship like that. And that wasn't what she wanted, either. It was all too difficult to think about. It made her brain hurt just to consider it.

Lana tried her best to avoid Jessa, but it was difficult, considering the tour cast hung out with each other all the time. Someone was bound to notice something eventually.

Every time that Lana thought about asking for Jessa's advice, she was around Carleigh, Araella, Kaitlyn, Brett, or even Daniel. It seemed like Jessa was happy with everyone but Lana. And that stung.

"Are you going to do it?" Jazzy asked one day, while they were running an extra rehearsal for act one.

"Do what?"

"You know what I'm talking about. Telling your family. The longer you wait, the scareder you're going to get."

"Scareder is not a word, Jazzy," Lana said, rolling her eyes.

"That's beside the point. You need to do it, if it's what you really mean and want. I think it would help you prove it to yourself, and it would show Jessa that you're ready for something like this. She's not going to wait forever, Lana."

Lana put her face in her hands.

"How am I supposed to tell my family when I'm halfway around the world?"

"I don't know. Do you want to tell them now?"

"Jazzy, I just don't know."

"Well, think about it. We have two more stops after this. Your role in the tour is going to change when Pippa and I leave. You're going to be the Schuyler sister. You'll be the original Angelica of this company, and you need to be confident in everything you do. People will look up to you, and you need to be the one who's honest with herself and everyone else. You'll be the wittiest, the prettiest, and I want you to be the most confident, too. And that's not going to happen if you keep this in the dark for another five months."

"It's just hard to do."

"I know, but Angelica wasn't easy for you, either, and look at where you are. Just, consider it. It might be easier when they have time to process it before you see them in person," Jazzy continued.

"Thanks, Jazzy. I'll think about it."

"Good. Now, it's time for 'Satisfied', so unless you want to look like a spaz in front of everyone, you should probably warm up."
