Chapter 104

"Hey, Lana," Jazzy says, after rehearsal, "Do you want to sleep over in Pippa and I's room tonight? We just wanted to have some Schuyler Sister time, ya know? We haven't done that for a while."

Lana smiles. "You're right! We haven't! It sounds like a great time! When should I come over?"

"Whenever you want to," Jazzy replies. "I think that Pippa and I were going to order in a pizza and just sit around and gossip and watch movies."

"That sounds great," Lana replies, laughing. "I'll come over after I put my stuff down in my room."

"Great!" Jazzy replies.

Jazzy walks over to Pippa, and tells her that Lana said yes, and then, they begin to head back to their room together.

"Oh my gosh, I've gotta pick this place up before Lana comes over!" Pippa exclaims, looking at her clothes strewn across the room.

Jazzy laughs.

"Half of the mess is yours Jazzy, come on. Get cleaning!"

Both girls laugh and throw their dirty clothes into a laundry basket, and the clean ones back into their suitcases, and just as they have finished up, they hear a knock on the door.

Pippa walks over and looks through the peephole to see Lana. She opens the door, and invites her friend in.

"Hey Lana!" Jazzy exclaims. "Just give me one second to order the pizza, and then I'll come over, okay?"

Lana laughs, and the two girls sit down on Pippa's bed, listening to Jazzy place the order.

Pippa gets a smirk on her face and whispers to Lana. "Watch this."

"Make sure to remember my pineapple!" Pippa calls, and Jazzy makes a face.

"Phillipa Soo, that is disgusting."

Pippa and Lana both burst out into laughter.

"We go through this every time that we get pizza," Pippa informs Lana.

"I like pineapple on pizza, too, don't worry," Lana tells Pippa. "I don't get why people think it's so gross."

"I think it's more of a west coast thing. I don't know, really. I grew up in Chicago, but was raised in a family with a west coast way of thinking-"

Pippa stops talking and doubles over laughing mid-sentence.

"I'm sorry. That was super weird," she says, once pulling herself together.

"No, I understand what you're saying. I bet it's true, because our local Brooklyn girl over here is still making that ridiculous face," Lana pokes at Jazzy.

Jazzy smiles, and puts her phone down.

"It's alright. I still love you guys."

"Awwww," Pippa coos, giving Jazzy a hug.

A few minutes later, the pizza has come, and the girls are deep into gossiping.

"So, Pippa, how are things between you and Steven?" Jazzy asks, nudging her friend playfully, and making kissing noises.

Pippa rolls her eyes.

"Pretty good. I mean, I miss him so much," she sighs. "I can't wait until I get to see him again in Florida. He's taking me to Disney World!"

"Aw, Pips, that's so awesome!" Lana exclaims. "I'm so jealous."

"Don't worry Lana. You'll find your special someone eventually," Pippa says, patting her friend's hand to comfort her. "I used to think that I never would, either, but, well... then I met Steven."

Lana smiles. "Thanks Pippa."

"So, Lana, what about you? Do you have your eyes on anyone special?" Jazzy asks.

Lana blushes.

"She does!" Pippa squeals. "Ooh! Spill it!"

Lana laughs.

"Okay, you are NOT allowed to tell anybody this, because nobody knows," Lana says.

"Of course not," Pippa replies. "That's what sisters are for."

"Well... the thing is... I kinda like Jessa."

"OH MY GOSH!" Jazzy squeals. "YOU TWO WOULD BE SO CUTE TOGETHER! PIPPA, LET'S PLAY MATCHMAKER!"

"No!" Lana exclaims.

"I have to side with Lana on this one, Jas," Pippa laughs.

"Oh brother," Jazzy pouts. "You're too much of a cinnamon roll, Pippa."

"I'm going to take that as a compliment," Pippa smirks. "So, Lana, spill the details."

"Well, uh, there's not much to tell. I mean, she was the first girl that I've ever liked, but I don't think she feels the same way about me, so it's not a big deal."

"She could if you would JUST LET ME PLAY MATCHMAKER!" Jazzy exclaims. Pippa rolls her eyes.

"Stop it Jazzy!" she commands, in a tone of voice that she would use if she were talking to a dog. Everyone laughs.

"So how about you and Anthony, Jas? What's been going on between you two?"

"Oh... you know... the usual engaged people stuff," Jazzy replies, waving her ring finger around in the air.

Everyone laughs.

"How about we watch a movie?" Jazzy suggests a minute later.

Everyone agrees that it sounds like a good idea, and they all cram together, laying down on Pippa's bed, to watch Moana, which they quickly agree upon.
