(Ok Here is chapter 3! One of these paragraphs hit me a little hard. Fair warning insecurity ahead)

I started packing my things up when Varian asked "You want some help?" I nodded and continued packing. Once we finished packing we started walking to Corona and halfway there I realized that I didn't put on my necklace. 

So I took it out and saw Varian staring at it with fear? but why? It's completely harmless. It had a white blue opal and was with a gold chain. "It was my mom's and I wear it as a reminder of her." I was about to put it on but he snatched it and held it out of my reach. "Varian give it back." 

"But do you know what the stone actually is?" He seemed scared and concerned but why it's just a stone right? "It's obviously an opal." He looked even more scared and concerned.

 "This is the moonstone that has the same powers of the sun drop except it works differently!" I was confused until I understood what he was talking about but the weird thing is that I have touched it and nothing happened so I don't understand why he's freaking out.

 "But I don't see the danger in it because the times I have touched it nothing happened." He seemed surprised but gave it back and I was struggling to get it on. He saw and said, "Here let me help."

 I let him grab it and I felt his fingers touch my neck. It sent shivers down my back but it felt good and a light blush crept onto my cheeks. Once he was finished he came beside me again and looked at me. "Thanks, Var for everything." 

"No problem it's the least I could do." After that, we just talked and when we got there Varian told me my room was beside his. He told me if I needed anything he would be in the lab or his room. when I came into my room I felt at home but also out of place here. 

Varian was helping me unpack the last of my things while I was staring in the window looking at the stars and the moon. Varian came up and sat next to me and stared at them with me. "You know the garden is the best place for stargazing." That caught my interest and I think he knew and grabbed my hands and pulled me to where the garden is.

Once we got there we layed in the grass next to each other watching the night sky. "Thanks for taking me here." I looked into his eyes and saw it was full of love? but why? it's not like he likes me right? "I go here when I need to clear my mind or when I'm stressed and I usually don't bring anyone with me." 

I smiled and I just happen to notice how close we are. I could feel his breath while our noses are almost touching. I didn't notice how we were leaning in slowly and we were only a centimeter away until. "Hey, guys dinner is ready." We jumped up and I was flustered and saw it was Rapunzel. "Did I interrupt something?"

We both shook our heads and she seemed to believe us and walked back while we stood there in awkward silence. "we s-should start heading our way to dinner" Varian suggested. "Y-Yeah we should." We walked in another awkward silence and when we got there we sat down and ate dinner. Once we finished I was in my room laying on my bed reading a book. My eyes started to heavy and soon sleep consumed me.

Dream: 

I was standing there watching the group talking around a campfire and suddenly a black rock kills everyone except me and Varian.

 I was crying and Varian suddenly pushed me and a black rock kills him. I fell balling my eyes out while screaming and suddenly the scene changed and I stood there with an all-black outfit with the moonstone on my right shoulder blade. And I was sitting on the king's throne laughing like a maniac. Outside the castle, all of Corona is covered in black rocks.

I heard myself shout "Finally Corona is MINE!" 

I shot up panting when the door to my room opened revealing a very worried Varian. He rushed over to me and within seconds he was right beside me. "Serenity what's wrong? I heard you scream." I couldn't say anything but I hugged him and cried on his shoulder while his fingers brushed through my hair saying comforting words. 

After a few minutes of crying, he pulled me to look at his sapphire sky blue eyes. "You think you can tell me now?" I didn't really want to tell him because I don't want him to worry about me. 

I mean look at me I'm just a simple girl who's a witch and isn't nearly as pretty as the girls in the village. And not to mention I'm only 5'3 in height for heaven's sake and have a very sad backstory. I shook my and said, "It was only a nightmare I'm fine." I tried to smile through my feelings.

Varians Pov

Fake 

Her smile was fake and forced. I understand she doesn't trust me yet but I wished she would just open up a little bit. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her onto my lap. I'm glad it was dark so she couldn't see my blush. I looked her in the eyes and said "You know you can tell me anything right." She nodded and I sighed and hugged her while she was trying to calm her breath. 

"Do you want to lay down?" I asked her while she was snuggling deeper into my neck which made me blush harder. No, you can't fall for her you've only known her for a few weeks Varian besides she probably doesn't like you like that.

"Whatever you are comfortable with." She responded while still clinging on to me. I smiled and fixed us to where she was laying on my chest and I was laying on my back. She seemed to like this position because he snuggled into my chest. 

I smiled at her while playing with her hair and admiring her features. Her long blonde hair was soft just like her personality sometimes. She mostly acts like she doesn't care about anyone when deep down she does. I think the best word for her personality would be Tsundere.

I soon realize she's asleep and I gently place her back into the bed and when I try to leave her hand grabs my wrist and she sleepily says "Stay with me."

I smiled and layed next to her only to be a few centimeters away. I kissed her forehead and whispered "Sweet Dreams Serenity" and I smiled at her sleeping form. Cute. and I let sleep consume me.

Hehehe sleep Serenity But soon you'll help me take over all of Corona once and for all!
