I felt so terrified that night
It was the most traumatic event of my life
My eyes coated with tears
Living scared for years
Haunting my life with my fears

Two men held my body with strength
Had a knife towards my neck
Threatened my life to death
If I dared to scream my throat will be slit
They pushed me to the ground
Hit my face thrice before they blindfolded my eyes
Forcing my legs to spread out
Giving me no option to survive
Unarmed to save my life

I was consumed by my fears
That I wasn't able to call for help
They tied my hands above my head
Covered my mouth with tape
As I whimpered in pain, silently sobbing, thinking
"This would be the end of my life"
While I helplessly fought against them

My body was devoured under their mercy
With thirst from their mouths
Lust from their hands that roamed over my body
Asking God,
what have I done
That my life deserves to be put in misery?

Hey guys, I wrote this poem 2years ago month September and rewrite last year and I guess it's time for me to share now. Most of my Indian friends posted a picture of an 8-year-old girl victim of a gang-raped last year and even my country Philippines hearing those fathers raped their own children at young age , those men raped gays and everyone who was involved, men, woman, children, the society we are all in right now is far from the word paradise that God's promise because of us.
It was really heartbreaking, I can still feel the emotion inside me and don't know what to do help them heal , it's just that why God this is happening?
And I came up with #artworkcampaign
I always wanted to represent my art as a campaign for human rights that people would reflect and open their mind to what's happening around the world , there are some cases that no voice and just whispers we can only eardrops and no justice was brought to all the victims that experience this such inhumane😡 , terrifying immorality doings and incident in peoples lives.
And if we put our passion in arts, writing, music, and words we can create a huge voice to deliver to people,( insert human awareness, )
and to our government to do not ignore this such cases.
And punish whoever involved in this crime.
May we all find justice in the name of God.
