"And after that, when we graduate... I want you there with me too."

Those words echoed in your mind for what seemed like forever, but in reality was only a few seconds.

"K-Katsuki... What do you... Do you mean..." The words just wouldn't form a sentence. Katsuki tilted his head, somewhat puzzled. An awkward silence befell you both.

It took him a moment to actually realize what he just said. He dropped your hand and stumbled back a bit, a blush exploding across his face as his jaw began quaking in an attempt to make out words.

"WAIT W-WAIT, LEMME REPHRASE THAT. I UHHHH I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT I MEANT IT L-LIKE I RESPECT YOUR CAPABILITIES AND I THINK YOU'LL BE A TOP HERO LIKE ME!" When his words ceased he just stood there in silence, waiting for you to say something. The only thing you could really do was laugh at that point.

"PFFFFFTTTTTT you're such a dork Katsuki."

"THE FUCK DID YOU SAY?! I'LL KICK YOUR ASS." You just observed his raging for a bit before holding out your hand to him. He paused and looked down at it with questioning eyes. "What is it?"

"A promise." You responded. He raised an eyebrow. "I promise that I'll rise to the top with you." You anxiously awaited a handshake that never came. Rather the boy grabbed your wrist and yanked you into his embrace, wrapping his arms around your back.

"You idiot, we're past handshakes now." He nuzzled his nose into your hair, only squeezing you tighter against him. His embrace never failed to make you feel safe. You nuzzled your face into his chest and smiled warmly.

"Mmph..."

"What is it?"

"I was just thinking that I like the way you smell Katsuki..." You could feel his heartbeat instantly get faster. Without warning he released you and took hold of your wrist, pulling you down the sidewalk.

"Come." Eh?

"What do you mean? Where are we going?"

"My room."

It took you a moment to realize what exactly he wanted. 

Wait... wAiT... WAIT WHOA WHOA MAYDAY MAYDAY!

"W-WAIT A SECOND KATSUKI..."

"What is it? Do you not want to?"

"No... It's not that I don't want to..." He was still pulling you down the sidewalk.

"Good, then there's no problem."

"YES THERE IS!"

"THEN WHAT THE HELL IS IT, SPIT IT OUT ALRE-"

"I'M ON MY PERIOD YOU FOOL!" That made him stop. He just stood there for a moment before turning back at you with an extremely flushed face. He brought his hand up to rub the back of his neck.

"So uhhh... Does it hurt?" He muttered.

Oh my gosh he really is a dork...

"Eh, a little." You chuckled. "But I mean if you still wanna hang out, I've got Pokemon and snacks at my house."

"The fuck do you take me for? Let's go."

"KATSUKI HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU? YOU CAN'T BEAT THE GAME WITH ONLY FIRE POKEMON." You were leaning up against your bed with Katsuki between your legs as you watched him play your DS.

"SHUT UP WOMEN, IF I LEVEL THEM UP ENOUGH I CAN!"

"YOU IDIOT, YOU HAVE TO USE THE MOVE 'SURF' TO GET TO OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD. NO FIRE POKEMON CAN USE SURF."

"THEN I JUST GOTTA CREATE ENOUGH HEAT TO EVAPORATE THE FUCKING OCEAN. EASY!"

"THAT'S NOT A REAL GAME MECHANIC."

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YA MEAN MY TYPHLOSION CAN'T LEARN SURF?! FUCKIN NPC BASTARD TELLING ME WHAT TO DO." The fiery blond raged. You laughed so hard you almost peed yourself.

"This reminds me of the school trip to Osaka. Remember? You let me fall asleep on your lap on the bus." Katsuki looked up from his game and smiled.

"Yeah, that feels like forever ago. That was when I kissed you for the first ti-" He cut himself off.

"...You what?" You could see sweat appear on the back of his neck.

"Uhhhh nothing..."

"You kissed me? I don't remember that." You thought as hard as you could, but couldn't recall it. Katsuki knew there was no reason to avoid answering you now that the beans were already spilled. He put your DS down and shifted around to face you, leaning forward and pressing his lips softly against your forehead. You just sat there, allowing the sudden contact to warm your body. He pulled his lips away and spoke gently.

"I kissed you like that after you fell asleep that night... Sorry, I know it's wrong. But at that moment I just... Couldn't resist." He glanced away shyly as you took in all the details of his flustered expression. This boy... You reached up and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling his face down into your chest.

"You're so cute Kacchan~."

"Don't fucking call me that." He muffled into your chest.

"Hehehe sorry, I just don't get to see you flustered very often." You released him from your grasp, and placed your hands on your lower back, stretching forward. Katsuki glanced down and then back up at you.

"Does your back hurt?"

"Oh, just a little. Kinda part of the whole menstruation package." You giggled. Katsuki wasn't buying it.

"Lay down."

"Huh, why?"

"Don't question me, just do it." You peered at him a bit puzzled before you got up and laid face down on your bed. Katsuki crawled over you and sat on your butt before cracking his knuckles. You knew what he was going to do now. 

Oh god, please be gentle.

Surprisingly he was. He kneaded the muscles on your back tenderly, taking care not to push too hard. You exhaled deeply and sunk further into the covers.

"Honestly I wasn't expecting you to be so good at this." You mumbled.

"Heh, please (y/n) I'm good at everything."

"Except being quiet." You snarkily responded. He clicked his tongue, his annoyed expression quickly curling into a malicious smile.

"You won't be saying that for LONG!" Suddenly he dug his fingers into your sides, tickling you.

"BAHAHAHA KATSUKI STOP- IT!"

"THIS OUGHT TO TEACH YOU TO BE SASSY WITH ME!" He continued assaulting your sides, his weight preventing you from escaping. You were crying from laughing so hard.

"KATSUKI P-PLEASE MERCY."

"Well since you said it so nicely, I guess I'll comply." He chuckled and then stopped, leaving you huffing and weak.

"By the way Katsuki... Do you have a boner?" He had felt something prodding against your butt for awhile.

"It's my phone."

"I can literally see your phone on my desk."

"OKAY FINE I HAVE A FUCKING BONER, SUE ME."

"Could your guys keep it down, I'm on the phone with my boss..." Takashi poked his head into your room and asked nonchalantly. Both your eyes and Katsuki's shot over to the door embarrassed.

"Uhh yeah, sorry Takashi we'll keep it down." You awkwardly responded. Takashi just lingered for a moment before adding.

"By the way, the condoms are in th-"

"I KNOW WHERE THEY ARE, YOU CAN GO NOW." He exited the room, wiggling his eyebrows. You laughed against the sheets a bit. "Pfffttt I love that guy..."

"YOU WHAT?!"

"As a brother. Relax ya big goof." He muttered some insults under his breath in a pouting manner before getting off you. You slowly made your way to your knees and smiled.

"Alright, your turn."

"I don't need it. Just let me take care of you tonight you idiot." Your eyes widened at his words.

"Katsuki..." You jumped on him, forcing him down onto the bed with you. Wrapping your arms tightly around him, you just laid there for a moment, taking in his scent, his warmth, everything.

"You're being oddly clingy today." He softly said, his hand reaching up to run his fingers through your hair. The sensation was lulling you to sleep. As your eyes slowly closed, you nestled closer to him and thought back to the first day you two met.

Who would have thought... That things would turn out like this.

Flashbacks of every little moment played through your head like a movie. You smiled, a single tear cascading down you cheek as you drifted off peacefully. But not before a few mumbled words escaped your lips.

"I love you... Katsuki Bakugou..."

His eyes widened, not quite sure if he heard you right.

"(Y/n) what was that? Say it again." The boy was only answered by peaceful snores. He smiled warmly and circled your cheek with his thumb. "You always fall asleep like this you big dork..."

After laying there for a bit, Katsuki shimmed out of your arms and pulled the covers up over you. He set your alarm clock for 5 AM and began gathering his things.

Before leaving, he took a few moments to appreciate your peaceful expression. He kneeled down next to your bed, taking your hand in his and leaning over to plant a soft kiss on your lips. Upon pulling away, his eyes softened. 

"Everyday..." Katsuki began.

"I vow to make you happy every day from now on."
