"I'm so fucking bored of these damn patrols." Katsuki groaned. "We haven't had any action in a goddamn month."
You chuckled at his complaint, wrapping your fingers in his as the two of you walked side by side down the bustling street.
"I'd say that the week of our honeymoon was pretty action packed~" You joked quietly.
"Heh, hell yeah it was." He smirked.
He was right though. Today was an especially slow day, not even a purse snatcher in sight. The most you did was stop to talk to some fans and give them autographs. Well, more so you stopped and dragged your reluctant husband into it.
"Okay okay, question to make things more fun. If you had to pick between sex and fighting villains, which would you pick?" You asked.
"Ah you've gotta be shitting me..." He huffed. Katuski took a few seconds to think before finally answering. "I'd have to go with kicking ass. I'd go fucking nuts without it."
"Wooooow I'm so insulted."
"Okay well what would you pick? I think I already know from how fucking loud you ar-"
"Fighting villains definitely." You said without hesitation.
"WHAT?!"
"You asked." You scoffed.
"If there weren't so many damn people around, I'd take you in an alleyway and make you change your mind~"
You purposely stepped on his toe, hard.
"OW! WHAT THE SHIT (Y/N)?!"
"We're working right now. You can keep your dick in your pants until we get home." You calmly stated.
"Okay fine. Then let's split up so we can fucking finish faster."
"I swear, you have the patience of a horny teen." You chuckled.
"Hmm~?" He smirked. "And you have the audacity of Katsuki Bakugou's wife."
You glanced up at your husband, admiring the cocky smile he gave you.
Ugh I'll never get over how hot he is.
"The fuck are you staring for?"
Annnnd I was totally staring.
"I-I'm not!" You retorted, head quickly shifting away. "Get your eyes checked, idiot!"
"The hell are you so shy for, we're married."
"Oh look at the time?!" You exclaimed looking at your wrist. "TIME TO SEPARATE!"
"YOU'RE NOT EVEN WEARING A WATCH!" He yelled.
"YEAH WELL NEITHER ARE YOU!"
"THAT'S NOT EVEN RELEVANT TO THE GOD DAMN CONVERSATION!"
Fighting in public wasn't anything out of the ordinary for the two of you. The first time the paparazzi caught wind of the explosive duo arguing in broad daylight, they thought it was the scoop of the century. All your friends and family laughed when it made the paper. Now, the paparazzi would pray that something besides fighting would happen for them to write about.
"Enough of this. Patrol the south district so we can finish already." You shooed.
"Don't fucking tell me what to do." Katsuki growled.
"I'm your wife, it's part of my job." You smiled.
Katsuki's eyes shifted over to you. It was that warm genuine smile that always managed to make his heart soft.
"Fine..." He reluctantly huffed. "Meet up back here when you get done."
"Sounds like a plan."
You walked off with that same smile too. It was odd to him how just a few hours apart could feel like forever. Katsuki was almost annoyed by how clingy he had become.
"Shitty girl..." He mumbled softly before continuing forward on his own.

By the end of your shift, you were itching to head home. The sun was just about to touch the horizon by the time you arrived back at the intersection you had separated at.
"Geez where is he... I thought he would chew me out for being a bit late." You curiously said.
You leaned up against a building and watched the clouds roll by.
I wonder what he's doing right now...
"I bet he's off scaring some kids right now..." You muttered. "It's probably like his internship all over again where they ran off screaming." Placing your hand on your chin, you leaned forward and began rambling in a very Izuku fashion. "He's probably telling them to go fuck off or scram or something! Can he even do that as an adult?! What if we get in legal trouble and lose our job?! And those poor kids will probably be scarred for life..." After a few minutes of incoherent babble, you opted to find him rather than watch your career crumble.
But you didn't have to go far. You spotted him in the park across the street crouching before a young girl.
Oh no, it's already begun?!
You started towards them in a quick march, ready to chew your husband out.
"KATSUKI BAKU-"
He placed his hand on the child's head ever so gently. You stopped in your tracks at the sight just a few feet behind him. The young girl, no older than ten, was wearing a handmade cape and mask.
You were the perfect distance away. Your husband didn't notice you, but you were just close enough to overhear him.
"With a heart as big as yours, you can become a hero." Katsuki spoke in a voice you only heard ever so often. It was soft, so soft you thought you could fall asleep to the sound of it.
And he was smiling.
Not a toothy grin or anything, but the corner of his lips were curled up slightly.
The young girl looked delighted as well. So delighted, that she threw her hands up in pure glee while displaying her own closed eyed grin.
You've grown...
You took a step back and crossed your arms, enjoying the spectacle.
Katsuki Bakugou, you've really grown.
After a final ruffle of the girl's hair, the mother walked over to thank Katsuki and take her daughter home. He stood and turned to find you patiently waiting by the park entrance.
"The fuck are you looking at. Let's go home." He grunted. You scoffed at the tone change.
"Yeah yeah ya big softy."

"So what did Ground Zero say to you sweetie?" The woman grinned towards her daughter.
The girl skipped along happily and said nonchalantly.
"He said I have to go or my wife will fucking kill me!"
