"You really want to do this? Life of peaceful again. We could just Let it go and live our Lives here."

"Don't you want your fill?"

"Of course I do. Tormenting that little blue boy for all eternity would be the best in the world. But you could be gone for weeks looking for him."

"It won't be a problem. You'll have him anytime you want. Just let me have the first round."

"Be sure to come back. I don't feel like going after you."

PoV: Sonic The Hedgehog

"Tails, where'd you go?" I looked around his work shop. It was empty, but his plane was still here.

"Sonic? Huh, I thought my security system worked better," My two tail friend came in, "You're early."

"Am I? I thought I was late," I yawned.

"Just woke up huh?" Tails laughed.

"It was a short nap," I stretched, "So what news did you get?"

"About the mysterious criminal whose destroying random shops?" Tails replied, "Well it turns out they aren't stealing anything. All the supplies is still there, even if it's in pieces."

"What criminal destroys a shop but doesn't steal anything? Even Eggman to steal before he destroys," I couldn't think of any names this criminal style matched with.

"Eggman hasn't attacked in a few days either," Tails stated.

"Oh yeah, he caught the flu so stay away from his lair," I answered.

"Did he call you again?"

"Orbit did to tell me there's no attack this week."

"Why do you guys call to schedule fights?"

"So there can actually can be a fight. Besides he doesn't say the time, just the day," I fiddled with my communicator.

"I don't think any other villains do that," Tails said as he pulled out his deboltilizer.

"Maybe they do. I know Shadow doesn't, Whoa!" A shot fired and my communicator fell apart in pieces.

"Whoops," Tails laughed, "Hair trigger," His unboltilizer shot my communicator, "I'll fix it but it might take a few days."

"Don't worry about it," I picked up the pieces and handed it to him.

"I'll be able to make a few upgrades to it too," Tails started working immediately.

"I'm going to start checking out the crime sights again. There has to be some clue," I left, but Tails didn't hear me. He was sucked into his work.

  I walked around the broken glass very carefully. I looked around to find a clue. There wasn't anything there that seemed different from before. I checked every shop that was destroyed, nothing. I just took a walk to thing about a few things to see if I could connect anything. Nothing seemed to be coming together.

"What the heck is going on? What's destroying these shops?" I said to myself.

"There you are."

  I heard a voice.
