"It's a simple set of games, really," the baby sitting atop Hibari Hana's head smirked, now in a yukata.  "The first game is 'Catch the くろねこ'.  However, you'll need more luck than this 'Black Cat' can bring you, fufufu."*

"A black cat?" Yamamoto tapped his chin.  "How about if we fed it tuna?"

Tsuna immediately sweatdropped, and Gokudera started yelling.

"The rules are simple," Reborn continued without giving them a second look.  "You catch the other team's BlackCat and bring them to me."

"Oh?  So each team has a KuroNeko," Luka tapped her chin delicately with a sly smile.  "Sounds simple enough.~  But who is the KuroNeko for the teams?"

Reborn suddenly pulled out a pair of cat ears and stuck them onto Hana-chi's head.  "E-Eh?" the ravenette flailed.

"Hana?" Rosa raised an eyebrow with a speculating look.  "Will she be able to manage this?"

Ruru just laughed a bit and patted Rosa's arm.  "She'll make sure we win.~  Right, Hana-chi~?"

"がんばります~/I shall do my best~" and suddenly, the ravenette had already scampered off.

"Now, for a complete win, we must have TsuTsu be the BlackCat, and I'll definitely catch him," Luka's eyes were gleaming with malice - or was that...anticipation?!

"H-Hiee!!!" Tsuna stepped back, shielding himself.  "R-Reborn!!!"

"O-ho," Reborn was sitting on the planter nearby.  "The boys' BlackCat is already in position."

"E-Eh?!  Who is it?"

Reborn smirked as he glanced up towards the building.  Good, the prefect was still asleep on the roof, and the other pair of cat ears were on his head.  He would deal with that favor owed later.

"Hi-Hi-Hib-Hibari-san?!" everybody couldn't help but pale.

"Oh, and another thing, if you catch the Beta BlackCat - Hana," Reborn warned the boys, "The Alpha BlackCat may come after you~" he smirked all-knowingly.  "Your own mascot may help you or may not help you.  It's up to them to decide.  And time starts...now!"

---[One minute into the game...]----

"It should be relatively easy for us," Gokudera had his hands shoved in his pockets as the four boys walked through the hall of the second floor, "Since compared to Hibari, she's tamer."

'Since when did we start using animal terms with them?!' Tsuna mentally thought but said instead, "I think she's probably hiding or got distracted by the music room...or the library.  Since she likes those places."

"EXTREME THINKING, SAWADA!" Ryohei took off running.  "I'LL GO TO THE MUSIC ROOM!!!"

"Wait up, senpai!" Yamamoto laughed, running off after him.

"We should split up, Jyuudaime, and head over to the library," Gokudera grinned, ever so eager to please.

"That seems all right," the brunette agreed, following after the silver-haired bomber downstairs.

"Well, there the beast sleeps, whilst the four troubled young girls cautiously watched from afar-"

"Mh, Luka-san, please stop narrating," Shunrai murmured.  "We're going to get caught."

"It's more fun this way~  And taking away my poor Hana-chi...we must win this!" her cerulean eyes sparkled.

"But what to do..." Ruru murmured.  However the four teenagers had forgotten about the small toddler with them, who was madly in love with the aloof skylark...

"..." Shunrai stared at I-Pin.  "Um...guys, what's wrong with her?" she picked up I-Pin.

Ruru and Luka's eyes widened...

----[Three Minutes in...]----

"WE FOUND BETA CAT EXTREMELY FAST!!!" Ryohei suddenly popped out of a bush in front of the gym with Lambo on his head after an explosion was heard in the distance.

"U-Um, senpai, that was a bird," Yamamoto laughed, scratching his head.

"NO, THAT ONE!!!" Ryohei pointed to the tallest tree by the building, where Hana obviously sat, eating a melon bun.  "EXTREME HEIGHT!!!"

"Ah!  Hibari-chan, we found you!" Yamamoto called, walking over to the tree.

Hana glanced down.  "Eh?  Ah, Yama-kun!" she waved from her high branch.

"Can you come down and then come with us to go to Reborn?" the baseball jock asked with a smile.

Big mistake.  At the mention of Reborn's name, Hana's face paled.

{Earlier Flashback}

"If anyone mentions my name, they'll want you to fight me."  <--(blatant lie, of course)

"D-Don't come closer then!" Hana squealed, climbing higher into the tree.  She sweatdropped, obviously not wanting to be beat up by her old tutor.

"EXTREME CLIMBING THEN!!!" Ryohei immediately ran into the tree and fainted, Lambo falling off.

"BWAHAHAHA!  HE'S SLEEPING!!" Lambo yelled.

Yamamoto pulled out his baseball bat.  "Well, what's that saying again?  'When push comes to shove'...well, I'll just jump up there or cut down the tree, haha~" his baseball bat turned into the sword.

Hana hung onto the tree for dear life as the baseball idiot contemplated on what method to use and Lambo ran around the tree.

As Tsuna and Gokudera ran towards the field, they ran into the five girls.  "Eh?  Did you guys find Hibari yet?" the brunette asked, stopping.

However, the girls ran past them.  "We're...trying...to catch up...with Hibari-san!" Rosa panted.

"Wait...but that direction you're heading...don't tell me," Gokudera growled.  "You're taking him to Reborn?!  Already?"

"No, we're trying to go after him!" Shunrai yelled over her shoulder.

"We've got to help Hibari escape!" the silverette glanced at his boss, pulling out dynamite.

"R-Right!" Tsuna followed in pursuit.

However, they all stopped when they heard the clashing of metal.  "Is it a battle?" Rosa paused, turning her head in the direction of the sound.  When they turned the corner, the girls and Gokudera and Tsuna came face to face with...

"Hibari-san?"  The ravenette was fighting against the home tutor, and the two were definitely going at it.

"Kufufu, it seems like the girls have won this round," Reborn remarked as he avoided a hit from Hibari's tonfas.

"We did?  I mean, we did!" Ruru cheered, rubbing the back of her head.  "Just...just like our plan, right, Luka?"

"Of course," Luka was snapping photos.  "It was all part of our brilliant plan."

'Liars,' Tsuna couldn't help but sweatdrop.  "But in that case...where's Hana-chan?" he asked aloud.

"I don't want to battle Reborn-sensei~~~~  I didn't pratice enough~~~" poor Hana-chi was sobbing in the tree as Yamamoto and Ryohei kept calling for her to come down.

"We'll continue this competition tomorrow," Reborn concluded, blocking Hibari's hit par on par.  "And this fight another time."

Hibari paused momentarily and sniffed.  "If you say so, baby..."  He glanced around.  "Where is Hana?"

[Meanwhile, still by the tree...]

Yamamoto scratched his head.  "Ah, was that the bell?  I guess we didn't get it then, haha," he sighed.

"EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT!!!" Ryohei yelled, punching the air since he had woken up by this time.

Hana blinked a bit.  "A-Ah...Yay!  No fighting Reborn-sensei!" she lithely leaped down to ground level.

Lambo blankly blinked at Hana.  "Ehh...can we get grape candy now?"

"Sure, Lambo-kun," the ravenette picked up the toddler and started walking towards the Sawada home.

* - Black cats in Japan are considered good luck.  But in America, they're bad luck.  So it just depends where you're from~
