(Dairoku's POV)

So... today's the day... the day we get to Atlas... by stealing a motherfucking airship! Sometimes, I question where Jaune gets these ridiculous ideas... Right now, we were all prepping for the mission. Ruby seemed more cheery than usual, probably because of the.. "eventful" night we had last night... Anyways, I had just clipped Glacial Blaze to my wings and holstered Raising Moon. I was about to holster Andromeda when Kuraime walked up to me.

Kuraime: Dairoku...

Me: Huh? Hey Kuraime. What's up?

Kuraime: Um... I think we should tell our team about... him...

I was slightly confused but then I remembered what Jinn showed us... I sighed

Me: Right... Alright. *to everyone* Team RRCST, I would like to have a quick meeting with you... *looks at Neo* All of you.

............

My team and I were gathered in the room they were staying in, with Celeste and Kuraime sitting on a bed, Neo and Tyros were standing, the former leaning against the wall with her hands in her pockets and I just sat in a chair, my arms crossed. Artemis was also with us, standing with a hand on her hip.

Neo: So, what did you want to talk to us about Big Brother?

I looked to Kuraime who also shared the same worried glance I had. I just sighed and began to address my team.

Me: Well... In the vision Jinn shows us, there's one thing that we left out.

Tyros: And that is...?

Kuraime: Malak... He was there too...

I felt the tension in the room rise significantly... I looked at Tyros, who looked completely shocked while Celeste looked terrified and began to tremble. Neo looked confused but seeing the reaction of her teammates, she knew something was up.

Tyros: Malak... The Hunter...??

Me: The same one that kicked our asses all those years ago? Yeah him same one.

Kuraime: He was created by Salem from a Grimm Pool... but she used some magic to... turn him into what he is now... I think if she hadn't done that, he would have been just another mindless Grimm... But no... He's more than a Grimm...

Tyros: That would explain how he easily beat us... Empowering Grimm... That damn cloak of his...

Celeste: Y-You sure... i-it's the s-same M-Malak...??

Me: White Armor, glowing red engravings, a black smoke cloak, a beastly mouth, that damned voice of his? It's him. No doubt. He's the one who killed Ozpin all those years too.

Celeste just began to tremble more, triggering Kuraime to put her arm around her to try and soothe her.

Neo: Wait so let me get this straight, you four were attacked and beaten badly by a Magic enhanced Humanoid Grimm that talks and Salem's his mommy?

Kuraime: *weak giggles* Pretty much, yeah. Strongest Team at Beacon my ass, am I right?

Me: Heh... yeah...

Tyros: So... what do we do now?

I looked over to Artemis.

Me: Artemis, you've been with Salem for a while. Do you have any... useful information on Malak?

Artemis: Besides that he could probably take on an entire Atlesian Army without breaking a sweat? Not much. Malak is ruthless in battle, as you four experienced but he has a more... honor side to him...

Neo: A Grimm having honor?

Artemis: Yup. He loves to test the strength of an opponent. If he finds you worthy enough, he basically turns into an Honorable Swordsman and will fight you, fair and square. And so far, only five people fit his criteria.

Tyros: Five?

Artemis: Besides his mother Salem, those five are, Kai Rein...

Celeste and Neo gasped a little, hearing their father's name.

Kuraime: That... makes sense, seeing as he went toe to toe with Malak when he, Qrow and Lucifer saved us...

Artemis: Yes and speaking of Qrow and Lucifer, those two are two more. The other two... well, one is Dairoku.

Me: *confused* Me? I lost so badly to him, we all did.

Artemis: Maybe, but he just couldn't stop thinking about you. He sensed great potential in you and that's probably because you had my sister for the longest time.

Neo: Okay? Who's the last person?

Artemis: Lauren.

We all gasped.

Celeste: Lauren...?

Artemis: He was the one who trained her to use my powers and I must say, he did a really good job. If it wasn't for my sister unlocking her final form for you, she would have killed you, no doubt. Malak, believe it or not, was quite fond of her. It's hard to imagine how he's feeling now she's gone though...

We all just looked at the ground in silence until there was a knock on the door.

Me: It's open.

The door swung open to reveal a... curious and worried looking Ruby.

Ruby: Umm... Are you guys doing okay?

Me: Yeah, we're fine. What do you need Roselyn?

Ruby: Well... I've been meaning to ask both you and Kiki... When Jinn showed us that Vision, you two froze up upon seeing someone... I think his name was... Malak or something?

We all exchanged glances before looking back at her.

Me: Yeah... That's his name.

Ruby: Do you guys have... history with him or something?

Kuraime: Yup and it's not the good kind of history, Rosie. He... kinda kicked our butts when we first encountered him.

Now it was Ruby's turn to be shocked.

Ruby: He beat all of you??? Team RCST??? Strongest Team in Beacon???

Tyros: Yup. He's no joke. He's just a walking nightmare.

Me: My team and I have a... personal grudge against him... We don't really feel like talking about it.

Ruby: Oh... Well, always remember that we'll be here if you guys want to talk about it.

My Team and I exchanged glances before we all smiled at her.

Me: Yeah... Thanks Roselyn.

Ruby: No problem Daiku. Now, come on, everyone's ready to head out.

Me: A'ight. Let's move out, RRCST.

RCST: Right!

CHAPTER 8: LADY IN THE SHOE

(3rd Person POV)

The next day was the Hijacking day! Currently, Weiss was walking down the airfield of the Argus Military Base holding a quite large suitcase with Cordovin, Saphron, Adrian and the two guards closely behind.

Cordo: Ah, I was relieved to hear that you came to your senses, Ms. Schnee. Many of us were devastated when we heard you would be attending... Beacon Academy. Knowing that you'll be returning to Atlas just warms my old heart.

Weiss: It was... time to get my act together and go back to my old roots.

Cordo: Oh, I can't wait to see you follow in your sister's footsteps.

Weiss: *painfully* Absolutely...

Cordo: I'm sending two of my best guards to personally escort you. Make sure General Ironwood hears that part.

Weiss's thoughts: She really has a hard on for the General... Weirdo...

Cordovin began walking away as the Guards approached Weiss.

Guard 1: Allow me to assist you with your bag! *tries to lift up her suitcase* My, what a heavy bag!

Weiss: *nervous* That's alright!

Guard 1: Nonsense!

Guard 2: Allow me to assist as well!

Weiss: I can take care of it myself!

Cordovin, began to get a bit suspicious. Saphron noticed and whispered to her son.

Saphron: Just like we practiced.

Adrian nodded before unleashing a hell of a wail that could put Banshees to shame.

Saphron: Oh no! Look at that, he's just going to miss you so much! You should hurry on out of here!

Weiss' thoughts: No way that works...

Guard 1: A cry child!?

Guard 2: We must console it!

The two guards slipped over to Adrian and began making funny poses at him while Cordovin began walking away again. Weiss on the other hand, quickly boarded the ship, in both relief and shock that it actually worked...

Weiss's thoughts: Okay... What the actual f-

Artemis: *inside suitcase* Fuck! Stop sniffing me you old, heavy hag!

Ruby: *over comms* Is everything okay?

Maria: *inside suitcase* Heavy!? It's all muscle! I'll show you a thing or two about heavy you good for nothing, overgrown lizard!

Artemis: *inside suitcase* Oh ho, ho! Try me bitch!

Weiss: *sighs and rolls eyes* We're on board.

Outside the city of Argus, next to a cliff, Teams, JNR, RRCS, Ruby, Qrow and Lucifer stood, waiting for the ship.

Dairoku: A'ight, Snowflake's played her part and it seems like the two "women" are enjoying each other's company, nicely.

Artemis and Maria: *over comms* Silence you!

Dairoku: Alright, alright. No need to get all pissy with me.

Kuraime: *smiles* So I see your going back to your sarcastic routes.

Dairoku: Well, might as well make it up for being depressed for a while. Besides, it seems like you're going back to your gluttonous ways.

Kuraime then realized that she was still holding a bag of cookies, she was eating from and began to blush.

Kuraime: S-Shut up! I missed eating these things! I haven't ate them since Beacon!

Dairoku: *smirking* Uh huh.

Kuraime continued blushing as she saw Celeste and Neo behind their brother, the former giggling while the latter is smirking.

Kuraime: *playfully punches Dairoku's shoulder* You... dummy.

Ruby: Hey! Only I call him dummy!

Kuraime: Fine! I'll call him Idiot!

Dairoku: Really? I know you want to say it. C'mon, say the B word, you Tsun Tsun.

Kuraime: *completely red* U-Uh... G-God Damn it you Baka!

Dairoku: Ha! She said it!

Not being able to take it anymore, Kuraime just began to endlessly swing punches at Dairoku, but she was unable to hit him as he used his wing to keep her out of reach, like what he did to Ruby back at Beacon.

Dairoku: A Kuudere turned Tsundere... Interesting.

Kuraime: S-Shut up!

Lucifer, who was watching from the sides smirked and shook his head.

Ruby: Anyways, we'll all watch our scrolls. The second Weiss is out of range of the comms tower, that'll mean she's out of range of the radar too.

Yang: *over comms* And that's when Blake steps in. We're almost at the drop off.

In the forest, Yang is seen driving Bumblebee with Blake and Tyros on the back. Blake was on her scroll with Terra who was giving her the details.

Terra: Okay, remember: one, the radar box is separate from the rest of the communications equipment. So if you disconnect it properly, it won't talk out comms for the rest of the city. Two, this conversation never happened.

Blake: Don't worry, this isn't the first time I've disabled Atlas security.

Terra did not looked impressed, causing Tyros to snicker.

Tyros: Nice going sis.

Blake: *realizing*  U-Um...

Terra: NEVER. HAPPENED.

Terra ended the call as Yang brought Bumblebee to a dust kicking halt. Blake got off and began to walk towards the tower in the distance.

Yang: You sure we shouldn't come with?

Blake: More intruders means we're more likely to be seen. *looks at Yang* Besides, stealth isn't exactly your... um...

Yang glared at her while crossing her arms.

Tyros: *smirk* Smooth.

Blake: I mean... you're great! And I'll hurry back!

Tyros: God this is so hard to watch...

Blake: S-Shut up! I'm trying okay!?

Yang just began smiling.

Yang: Go.

Blake smiled back, then looked at her brother who also smiled and waved her off. She then began bolting it towards the tower.

Blake: *over comms* Heading in on foot. Won't be long.

Back with Ruby's team, Jaune who just heard the news, decided to celebrate.

Jaune: Yes! It's all going to plan!

He then noticed Ren and Nora staring at him.

Jaune: *coughs* I mean uh... Roger.

Ren and Nora just smiled at each other until looking at Ruby, who looked at her uncle in worry.

Oscar: Hey, this is gonna work.

Ruby: Yeah...

Back with Weiss, she was looking at the scroll signals as they disconnect. She then grabbed Myrtenaster and walked over to the pilots, who are the two guards from earlier.

Guard 1: Ms. Schnee! For your own safety, we must request-

Suddenly, there were sounds of Punches, kicks and Glyphs.

Guard 2: What!?

Guard 1: TRAITOR!!!

After a small tussle, Weiss managed to tie the guards with a Gravity Glyph to a parachute and throw them out of the ship.

Guard 2: This parachute won't excuse you of your TREACHERY!!!

The glyph then disappeared, causing one of the guards to fall and immediately latch onto the other guard's legs. On the ship, Maria and Weiss were seen sitting in the pilot and co pilot seats while Artemis stood behind them, her hands on her hips.

Weiss: And you're sure you can fly this?

Maria: Missy, I was the Grimm Reaper. What part of "Best Huntress of her generation" don't you understand?

Weiss: Right, but your eyes...

Maria chuckled before unplugging a small flash drive-like device from the console and to her eyes, causing them to be linked to the ship.

Maria: You were saying?

Artemis: Now I'm a tiny bit more reassured...

Weiss: But you said your eyes were in desperate need of repair-!

Maria: Bup, bup, bup!

Weiss/Maria: But-/Bup!

Artemis: *mumbling* And I have to be with these two...??? Fuck me...

Weiss: Quiet you!

Artemis: Ugh, whatever Ice Queen.

Weiss just rolled her eyes as Maria turned the ship around. Back on the cliff, Ruby checked the scroll signals, and as soon as she saw Weiss out of range, she contacted Blake.

Ruby: Alright guys, this is it. Blake, you're up.

They awaited a response but... nothing...

Ruby: Blake?

Dairoku: Crap... Yo Tyros, Goldilocks! What the hell's going on?

With Tyros and Yang, they looked up at Comms tower, seemingly worried.

Tyros: We're... not sure... Sis, are you there??

Nothing but silence...

Tyros: Sis!

Yang: Crap...

Just then, Weiss got back in range and was seen by the Military Base.

Soldier: Ma'am, we've got something on radar.

Cordo: And who would be foolish enough to enter our airspace unannounced?

Soldier: ...Apparently... us, ma'am.

Back on the airship, the soldier began to speak through the radio.

Soldier: *over radio* Manta 5-1, this is Argus Base. We see you circled back. What's your status, over?

Artemis: Oh for fuck sakes...

Weiss: Why can they see us!?

Maria: Somebody dropped the ball... Don't worry, I've worked with Atlas forces before. I know their jargon. *picks up radio and clears throat* Argus Base, this is Manta 5-1. Feel free to gaff off. Though we were going to scrub due to FOD, but we're back up and green across the board, over.

. . .

Soldier: *over radio* Manta 5-1, return to base immediately, or you will be treated as hostile, over.

Weiss: I thought you said you knew their jargon!

Soldier: *over radio* Jargon was fine, but our pilots aren't elderly women.

Artemis: Well... that does make sense...

Maria: Huh, well they got me there! Oh, my mind really is going! Why would you kids let me fly this thing?

Artemis: I'm asking myself that right now...

Cordo: *over radio* CALAVERA! You and those insolent children are up to something, aren't you!? You thought you could undermine MY authority!? If you don't return my ship this INSTANT, I will make an example out of you! I will show you the true might of Atlas!

To taunt her rival, Maria began chewing on cashews.

Maria: You here that Cordo? That's the sound of me not caring!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Artemis: Oh no... Ice Queen!

Weiss: I know! *comms* Ruby, we're in trouble. Cordo's onto us and Maria ISN'T HELPING!

Artemis: That is a HUGE understatement my dear!

Weiss: Why is the radar still up!?

Ruby: We don't know, Blake isn't responding!

Oscar: What do we do!?

Yang: Keep the ship in one piece.

Yang, with Tyros on the back of Bumblebee began to drive off towards the tower.

Tyros: And we'll go make sure our Kitty is in one piece.

Back with the others, they began discussing what to do.

Nora: Maybe we should fly over to help Yang and Blake first?

Celeste: We would be leaving ourselves open for Cordo to attack whenever she wants though.

Qrow: Damn it! Cordo's gonna scramble her fighters. We've got maybe ninety seconds before they're in the air and all over Weiss, Artemis and Maria. This is all my fault...

Jaune: What are you talking about? You're Semblance??

Qrow: Every choice I've ever made has led me here, and I've dragged you along with me. Oz, myself and others... We're responsible for the mess the world's in now. I shouldn't have come, shouldn't have let any of you come... What was I thinking!?

There was a brief silence before Ruby stepped up.

Ruby: We're all in this together, and we're all going to do the best we can. That's all anyone can do. And I know it's what you've always aimed for us. We would've come whether or not you've let us, so stop talking like we're your responsibility! We're not! But we could still use Qrow Branwen by our side.

Qrow silently looked at Ruby while Dairoku smirked.

Dairoku: Hmm... I'm starting to wonder who's the real Huntsman/Huntress here now.

Lucifer scoffed with a smirk while Qrow chuckled and looked at his niece.

Qrow: How did you grow up so fast?

Ruby: I had good role models.

The two smiled at each other before Weiss and Artemis chimed in.

Artemis: Touching moment but we have a much BIGGER problem here!

Neo: What are you talking about?

Weiss: She's not sending fighters...

Artemis: Whatever this thing is, MUCH, MUCH worse.

The giant rock in the Argus Military Base began to open up, a gigantic robot with a cannon for its right arm, called a Colossus and Cordovin is the one piloting it.

Cordo: Clearly the people have forgotten that they live in peace thanks to the awesome might of Atlas!

Weiss: Is Cordovin... piloting that?

Artemis: No, it's fucking Donald Duck!

Cordo: Consider this a reminder!

A Dust cartridge locked into the cannon as it charged up a lightning beam before firing it at the airship, grazing it slightly and causing it to lose control briefly and Maria's eyes spin.

Weiss: Are you okay?

Maria: I am, but SHE'S clearly lost her mind.

Cordo: And that was merely a warning shot! All Atlas personnel standby and watch how your leader maintains order!

Back on the cliff, everyone looked over while Ruby, Kuraime and Dairoku walked up, seeing the ship fly pass with the Colossus closing in.

Cordo: It's time you asked yourselves children... Do you truly wish to defy me?

Kuraime: Okay... That's a big robot...

Dairoku: Talk about a discount Iron Giant...

Ruby: Hurry back Weiss. I need you on the ground if we're gonna take this thing down.

Weiss: You're joking, right? You want to fight this thing!?

Celeste: We've faced way worse Weiss Cream! This is just a very tiny old hag... in a really... big robot!

Dairoku: Well, I say we get it done. Allow me.

His back began to glow blue as the Barbatos Blasters formed on his back. He aimed and was about to fire, until he was stopped by his Uncle putting a hand on his shoulder.

Lucifer: One, we don't want to actually kill the lady. And two, that thing has shields that can easily block your Blaster shots, so you'll just be wasting your energy.

Dairoku: *sigh* Fine.

His cannons disappeared, as Kuraime and Ruby readied their weapons.

Cordo: You little spider-roaches thought you could creep your way to Atlas!? Well, let's see how your resolve holds out against the might of the Atlesian Military!

The Colossus aimed its cannon arm as a missile pod popped out and fired off two missiles, only for them to be shot down by Ruby and Kuraime with their Scythes in their sniper modes. The two reapers glared daggers at Cordovin as she became absolutely livid.

Cordo: SO BE IT!

The Colossus locked an Ice Dust Cartridge into the Cannon before aiming at the Cliff Team.

Weiss: Dive!

Maria immediately began diving the ship towards the cliff as Weiss and Artemis ran towards the back of the ship. As Cordo fired off the Ice beam, the ship landed behind the group while Weiss used her Glyphs mixed with Earth Dust and Artemis used her magic to create a rock wall that that protected them all.

Dairoku: Nice save you two.

Artemis: Heh!

Weiss just smiled confidently at her winged best friend.

Oscar: That was close.

Ruby: We need to figure out how to stop Cordovin and protect the airship until we do.

Jaune: Let's give her more targets to focus on.

Nora: You mean us, don't you?

Jaune: Look at that thing. It's not designed for small enemies. It's probably meant for giant Grimm that come in from deeper waters. We can turn our size into an advantage. We just have to be smart.

Neo: *smirks* Heh, I like how you think, "Mr. Muscles".

Jaune laughed nervously while scratching the back of his neck but he then noticed Kuraime staring daggers at him... for some reason...?

Ruby: Maria, can you keep the ship out of harm's way?

Maria: They can take my driver's license, but I won't let then take this ship!

Ren: Very reassuring...

Oscar: I'll be more useful if I go with her. From up high, I can try to spot a weakness.

Qrow: Well, he's not the only one who can grab a bird's eye view.

Dairoku: Heh, add three to that list Bird Brain.

Qrow smirked as he looked over to Dairoku and Celeste, who were all smirking. Celeste's black crow wings flared up, dropping some feathers as Dairoku's wings glowed and were replaced by the Barbatos Lupus wings. Then they both looked over to Kuraime.

Kuraime: H-Huh??

Dairoku: You're Devil's Trigger form has wings too.

Kuraime: U-Um... I'm still not really sure how to control it.

Dairoku: You were able to activate it twice.

Kuraime: Yeah, but the first time I basically had a temper tantrum and the second time, I just got lucky, but it took a lot out of me. But... I'll try at least...

Lucifer: You guys aren't the only ones who have a sense of flight.

Everyone looked at Lucifer confused.

Dairoku: You can fly too Uncle?

Lucifer: *scoffs* Let's just say that Barbatos and Bale aren't the only two armors out there.

While everyone dawned shocked expressions, Artemis and Qrow smirked.

Qrow: Oh, you're finally deciding to use it, huh?

Lucifer: Yup.

Artemis: Oh, my, ehehe!

Lucifer: Heh. Ajax.

Everyone looked surprised from seeing the necklace Lucifer was wearing, glow red before a new looking beast erupted from behind him, transforming him into a crimson red dragon-like armor with red energy wings like and red glowing bits that changed to green.

Dairoku: We'll talk about this later...

Weiss: *turning to Ruby* You said you needed me on the ground?

Ruby: *nervous smile* Not exactly...

With the plan set, Team JNR along with Neo ran out to the left while the airship, housing Maria and Oscar flew out to the right. Ruby and Kuraime used their Semblances to launch themselves up while Qrow, Dairoku and Lucifer fly up alongside them, with the last two in their armored form. As Ruby and Kuraime deactivated their Semblances, they fired off a bullet each at the colossus, cracking its windshield, before they landed in a tree.

The Colossus aimed its cannon as its missile pod popped out and fired a barrage of missiles at the two Reapers. They smirked at each other before using their Semblances to weave their way through the missiles before free falling down to the ocean.

Ruby: Haha! Let's go!!!

The ocean below them froze as the two reapers ramp off it, Weiss and Celeste closely behind. While Celeste flew alongside them, Weiss, Ruby and Kuraime hopped from ice to ice to get closer to the Colossus. Before Cordovin could do anything, she was distracted by pink grenades hitting the Colossus, all coming from Nora.

Nora: And you said it wasn't beach season!

All members of Team JNR and Neo took cover behind rocks as Nora continued to fire grenades at the Colossus but its Hard-light shields absorbed the attack.

Neo: Damn, Uncle wasn't kidding when he said it had shields... Hard-light Dust...

Cordo: Hahaha! Surely you knew Atlas was the father of Hard-Light Dust, or do lesser kingdoms simply lack proper education?

The Colossus' cannon was injected with an Earth Dust cartridge before it took aim and fired at Team JNR and Neo, them barely dodging each blast.

Jaune: Cordo just activated shields!

Dairoku: Yeah, no shit!

Oscar: I saw that. We need to find whatever's generating it!

Ruby: You know, in video games, the weak spot's usually on the back of the giant boss!

Celeste: Yeah but this is real life!

Weiss: This isn't a game, Ruby!

Dairoku: Maybe so, but she isn't wrong!

Kuraime: Yeah, maybe- LOOK OUT!!!

The Colossus stomped on the ice but while she was preoccupied with Weiss, Celeste, Kuraime and Ruby, Qrow, Lucifer and Dairoku flew from above and slammed down on the Colossus, damaging it.

Cordo: Ah! What was that!?

Qrow: Until the shield's down, we're gonna have to get up and personal with this thing.

Ren: That's easier said than done!

Lucifer: Stating the obvious again, huh Qrow?

Qrow: *smug* Shut up.

Dairoku: You guys can kiss all you want AFTER we take this thing down.

With Andromeda in one hand and Raising moon in pistol mode in the other, Dairoku aimed at the damage he did to the Colossus while Qrow and Lucifer turned their weapons into their gun forms and began to shoot at it but that didn't last long as the massive metal hand of the Colossus hovered over them.

Dairoku: Alright, time to dip!

Qrow transformed back into his Avian from while Lucifer and Dairoku's energy wings glowed before they all flew off the Colossus. As Dairoku and Lucifer, reared away from the Colossus, a blue and red orb appeared in their hands respectively.

Dairoku: Barbatos Shot!

Lucifer: Crimson Shot.

They punched them, causing them to split into three different orbs that all made contact with the Colossus, annoying the hell out of Cordovin.

Ruby: We're on it!

The four landed on an ice platform.

Weiss: Hold on!

Dairoku: Weiss! Catch!

Dairoku unclipped Glacial from his wing before hurling it towards Weiss who caught it. She held down the trigger to supercharge the Ice Dust before sticking both it and Myrtenaster into the ground and with the help of her Glyphs, she created a pretty chunky spike of ice to rupture out of the water and into the side of the Colossus' foot, knocking it off balance. As Oscar watched from above, he began to notice something.

Oscar: Wait, that's it... When she...

Before he could decipher the situation, the Colossus aimed it cannon down on Ruby, Weiss, Kuraime and Celeste.

Oscar: RUBY MOVE!!!

They looked up, and their eyes widen seeing the missile pods pop out of the cannon.

Kuraime's thoughts: NO!!!

Then that voice again... the same one from the farm...

???: It's okay, just relax. You want to protect them, don't you? Then concentrate and focus on the thought of them, on the thought of preserving life as a whole. You can do it, Big Sister.

Kuraime's thoughts: Akaruime...

Kuraime opened her eyes, only for them to be revealed, glowing white before her voice echoed throughout the entire area.

Kuraime: You will not forget this Devil's Power!

Suddenly she was engulfed in the same dark and ominous aura before she, Celeste, Ruby and Weiss were entrapped into a mulberry purple sphere that tanked all the missiles, easily.

Weiss: What???

Celeste: How in the...

Ruby: *looks at Kuraime in shock* Kiki...?

Weiss and Celeste also looked at Kuraime, only to be shocked to see her looking completely different... Her eyes were a Mulberry Purple, her long black hair was now white, she had red horns on her head, and she wore a black and white "dress" that exposed some skin with a sash on her left hip, a black and gold Gauntlet on her left arm while her right was coated in a red armor and white thigh-height boots; the same form she took when she transformed into her Devil's Trigger Form...

Kuraime: Weiss! Hurry up and summon the Queen!

Snapping out of her shocked state, Weiss immediately stabbed Myrtenaster into the ground as the glyph for the Queen Lancer appeared and summoned the giant wasp. Weiss and Ruby jumped on its back while Celeste began to fly next to them. Kuraime on the other hand, large black objects began to sprout from her back before they fully sprouted into large black wings. With Poison Ivy in one hand, she immediately took to the skies and flew directly towards the colossus, as Ruby jumped off the Queen Lancer. Both Reapers spiraled down as the stabbed their scythes into the Colossus, damaging it greatly. At the same time, Dairoku and Lucifer swoop in, with the giant pile drivers from their Guardian armaments before punching the colossus, sending it stumbling into the cliff, all the while Cordovin screamed in rage.

Maria: AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Jaune: *gesturing to Colossus* Go!

Team JNR and Neo decided to make their move as they ran towards the stunned Colossus, Ren running up its left arm to find a way to disable the shields while Jaune, Nora and Neo all attacked it, Jaune using his Crocea Mors in its great sword mode to slash at the ball-joint connecting the left leg to the body, while the spiked blade popped out of the tip of Hush for Neo to stab in the right leg's ball-joint. Nora on the other hand, used Magnhild to slam against the cannon arm.

Cordovin managed to get the Colossus back stable on its feet and it began to walk again with Kuraime, Ruby and Ren still on it. The two reapers lowered themselves so that they were visible to Cordovin. Ruby decided to nervously and playfully wave at the old lady while Kuraime gave her the finger and stuck her tongue out.

Cordo: GET OFF OF ME!!!

Ruby and Kuraime looked up to see the Colossus' left hand, aiming to swipe them off. They tried to dodge but their scythes ended losing their grip and they both began to fall to the ground. Ruby screamed in what seemed like enjoyment while Kuraime quickly recovered and holstered Poison Ivy before diving down and catching her best friend before she hit the ocean. Kuraime then flew over to Weiss and Celeste and set Ruby on the Queen Lancer.

Kuraime: You're welcome, Rosie.

Ruby: Heh! Thanks Kiki!

Weiss: *annoyed* And what if she hadn't caught you??

Ruby: *cheeky grin* I knew you or Celeste would!

Celeste: Ehehehe!

Then Dairoku swooped by.

Dairoku: And if not, I would!

Ruby: Ehehe! Love you too!

Weiss just groaned in annoyance. The Queen Lancer with Weiss and Ruby, Kuraime and Celeste began to just fly after Dairoku, who had been using his Barbatos Aerial to at least try to weaken the shields. With Ren, he was seen climbing down the back of the Colossus where he found an awfully suspicious panel. Using his Stormflower, he managed to slash the panel off but the Colossus shook, causing him to lose his grip but he was suddenly caught by Qrow and Lucifer.

Qrow: We gotcha.

Lucifer: Let's see what we have here shall we?

They helped Ren up before looking at what they found, shocked that Ruby was right; it was the shield generator.

AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY, SHIELD GENERATOR.

Lucifer: That girl's your niece and my future niece-in-law right...?

Qrow: Yup.

Ren: Well... Shall we gentlemen?

They just smirked before they began to shoot at the Shield Generator, disabling it and shutting off the shields.

Cordo: No, no, no, NO!!!

As they ended their assault, the Colossus began to get hit by a barrage of Nora's grenades.

Nora: YOU GET BACK HERE WITH MY MAN!!!

In the meantime, The Queen Lancer flew by Ren, Qrow and Lucifer.

Weiss: Jump on!

Qrow and Ren got on the Queen Lancer with Weiss and Ruby as it, Kuraime, Dairoku, Lucifer and Celeste flew alongside it. Jaune noticed the Colossus aiming to slap Nora and Neo with its hand.

Cordo: I've had enough of you ingrates

He bolted towards the two girls before using his Aura Amp on them to give them an extra layer of shielding from the attack but unfortunately, they all were slammed into a rock, their Auras flickering violently.

Ren: NO!!!

Dairoku, Kuraime and Celeste: NEO!!!

They only then realized at the last second that Cordovin was preparing a Wind Dust attack with the Colossus, cannon. They tried to fly out of the way but were caught in it, destroying the Queen Lancer and deactivated Barbatos, Ajax and Kuraime's form. As everyone rolled on the ground, Ruby and Kuraime tried using their semblances to reach the end but they fell short.

Dairoku: RUBY! KURAIME!

Dairoku's wings glowed again, activating his Barbatos Lupus wings before he dived down and caught the two reapers. He just began hovering above the water.

Dairoku: You two okay?

Ruby: *panting* I think so...

Kuraime: Thanks Dairoku...

Artemis: Uhh, heads up!

They looked up to see the Colossus dominantly walking over to them.

Cordo: This is what happens when you think you know better than those rightfully in charge!

She aimed the Colossus Cannon at them but Dairoku gritted his teeth before the Barbatos Blasters formed on his back.

Dairoku: Don't think I'd let you hurt my rose and my sister!

Within the airship, Oscar saw what was happening and ran over to Maria.

Oscar: We gotta do something!

Maria nodded before she flipped some switches on the dash board, activating the missile system and firing on at the Colossus but unfortunately, it caught it.

Cordo: Calavera...

The Colossus then threw the missile back at the ship, exploding next to hit.

Cordo: You just couldn't keep this rivalry between us, could you Calavera!? You had to rope in children to fail with you!

Seeing Cordovin was distracted, Dairoku retracted back his cannons before flying him, Ruby and Kuraime back onto the cliff and next to the group that fell.

Oscar: *over comms* Ruby, Kuraime, Dairoku, can you hear me? Are you guys okay?

Ruby: Are WE okay?!

Oscar: *over comms* I know, we were supposed to lay low but listen! I think I finally found a weakness!

Nora: Well, we're all ears.

They looked over to see Nora and Neo supporting Jaune while walking over to them.

Ren: Guys!

Kuraime: Neo!

Ren ran over to his teammates while Kuraime ran over to Neo, franticly checking her for any injuries.

Kuraime: Are you okay!? You're not hurt are you!?

Neo: *weak giggle* Relax Kuraime, besides from a minor headache, I'm fine. *raising eyebrow* Since when did you start caring about my well being?

Kuraime's face turned red as she looked away, nervously and flustered.

Kuraime: U-Um... W-Why wouldn't I c-care...?? Y-You're my t-teammate...

Neo was obviously not buying it and was smirking at her.

Neo: Uh-huh.

Dairoku saw this and began to smirk, realizing the situation.

Dairoku's thoughts: So Kuraime's fallen for my Ice-Cream flavored sister, eh?

Artemis telepathically: Huh... Never saw it coming. I thought she was straight...

Oscar: *over comms* The cylinder on Cordo's cannon rotates and locks in a giant Dust Cartridge every time she changes attack styles.

Weiss: We noticed.

Oscar: Right, but the missile launcher doesn't lock in, it pops out! Without her shields, one well-placed shot could detonate the missiles while they're still in the launcher!

Jaune: We could destroy the entire cannon... Oscar that's brilliant!

Nora: *looks at Ruby and Kuraime* Could you two, make that kind of shot?

Ruby: We'll only have one chance before she catches on.

Kuraime: And even then, we'd have to be staring directly down her barrel.

Maria: Well, I've got a way to guarantee that!

Maria flew the ship over to the group as Ruby and Kuraime exchanged determined looks.

Dairoku: Go get her, girls.

Ruby and Kuraime smirked at Dairoku before they hopped onto the ship as it took off.

Qrow: Ruby, what are you doing!?

Lucifer: Relax Qrow. She may be reckless, but she's tough, especially since she's survived this long.

Celeste: And she has Kuraime with her! If things so south, Kuraime could protect her!

Back on the ship, Kuraime and Ruby looked over to Oscar and Maria as the ship got closer to the Colossus.

Maria: Hey Cordo! I've got one missile left and I know exactly where I'm gonna stick it!

Cordo: *chuckles* One missile you say? That's a shame Maria, because I HAVE PLENTY!

The Colossus aimed it's cannon at the airship as the Missile Pod popped out.

Oscar: ARE YOU TWO CRAZY!?!?

Kuraime: Nope, their TOTALLY sane...

Maria: Sometimes the best approach is simply the most direct!

Ruby and Kuraime then took aim with their respective scythes, however Cordovin noticed.

Cordo: You!

They two reapers pulled the triggers on their weapons, firing off a bullet towards the missiles in the launcher but just as it made contact, the launcher retreated back into the cannon, causing the bullets to get redirected up.

Ruby and Kuraime: Huh...?

Everyone else just stared in shock.

Cordo: You thought you could fool me!?

The Lightning Dust Cartridge locked into the cannon as the Colossus aimed at the ship.

Kuraime: CRAP!

Oscar: PULL UP!!!

Maria pulled back on the joystick, rearing the ship up, but the lightning beam barely grazed it and nearly hit the others back on the cliff. The ship and Maria's eyes began to short circuit out of control.

Maria: AHHHHH!!! I can't see! My eyes!!!

Oscar: No, no, no!!!

Maria: Take control!!!

Oscar quickly grabbed the joystick and tried to control the ship.

Oscar: We're gonna crash!!! WE'RE GONNA CRASH!!!

Kuraime: RUBY!!!

Ruby: KURAIME!!!

The two best friends made their way into each other's arms, bracing for the impact but as they did, Kuraime began to glow a purple aura before the same sphere appeared around her, Ruby, Oscar and Maria.

Jaune: Look!

Everyone from the cliff watched as the airship crashed into the forest.

Neo: KURAIME!!!

Dairoku: Crap!

Qrow and Dairoku jumped off the cliff, the former transforming into his Avian form and the latter gaining his Barbatos Lupus Wings before flying towards the crash site.

Oscar: We're... we're still in one piece...!

From the crash site, the ship miraculously sustained no major damage. The sphere that Kuraime created flickered before disappearing as she and Ruby stumbled out of the ship.

Kuraime: We're never doing that again...

Ruby: Ditto...

Cordo: Very clever, but even the smartest apes can't compete with the intellect of man.

Ruby and Kuraime used their scythes to support them up while they looked at Oscar trying to help Maria with her eyes.

Maria: Come on... Come on!

The two reapers looked back at the Colossus before exchanging determined nods and walking towards it, only for Qrow to show up and stop them.

Qrow: Ruby, stop!

They both looked at the Huntsman.

Ruby: I need you to trust us.

Kuraime: Please.

Then, Dairoku showed up behind Qrow and put his hand on his shoulder.

Dairoku: Let's them do this.

Qrow was hesitant but he sighed and let the two reapers go. They both faced the Colossus with determined expressions,

Cordo: Surrender for your crimes, and accept your punishment.

Ruby and Kuraime: NO!

Cordovin gained a shocked expression as Ruby and Kuraime stabbed the ground the blunt end of their scythes.

Kuraime: We're going to Atlas, whether you like it or not! More Dangerous people than you have tried to stop us and failed, but we're supposed to be on the same side! We're supposed to use our power to protect people but you just used yours to look down on everyone! That's not the way of the Atlesian Army! General Ironwood wouldn't want that!

Cordovin began to ponder...

Ruby: We didn't want to steal from you. We did it because you gave us no other choice! Now we're giving you one last chance to stand down and hear us out!

Kuraime and Ruby: Please! Let's work together and not against each other!

Cordo: I've heard enough...

The Colossus aimed its cannon at the two reapers, causing them to glare daggers at it. Team JNR, Weiss, Celeste, Neo and Lucifer began to run over to them as Qrow, Oscar and Dairoku's eyes widen.

Oscar: Ruby!! Kuraime!!

Dairoku then saw that they weren't moving and realized something...

Dairoku: Wait... are they...!?

Artemis: Holy SHIT!!!

As Dairoku and Artemis thought, Ruby and Kuraime used their Semblances to rush into the Cannon, shocking everyone.

Cordo: WHAT!?

Lucifer: ...The fuck!?

Nora: THEY'RE NUTS!!!

Neo: AND GENIUSES!!!

Cordo raised the cannon into the air as Ruby and Kuraime began to swirl further into it.

Jaune: The missile launcher pops out...

Celeste: But the raw dust gets locked in!

The two deactivated their Semblances before planting their scythes into the base of the cannon and aiming the barrels at the raw Dust. Ruby then grabbed both levers of Crescent Rose and Poison Ivy which both sat right next to each other while Kuraime put her hand on hers. The two smiled at each other.

Kuraime: Let's do it, Rosie.

Ruby: Yeah, Kiki.

Kuraime: In 3...

Ruby: 2...

Both: 1...

Dairoku: *over comms* JACKPOT MOTHERFUCKER!!!

The two reapers fired their respective weapons before using both the recoil and their Semblances to dash out of the cannon as it erupted in Earth, Lightning and Ice Dust.

Cordo: What!? No! NO!

As the two reapers fell back to the ground, swirling around each other in their rose petal and raven forms, Gravity Glyphs began to slow them down but ultimately, they managed to split the two reapers apart, sending the two of them in two different directions, their Auras flickering violently. Qrow managed to catch Ruby as Dairoku caught Kuraime. Weiss, who was using her Gravity Glyphs, fell to her knees due to exhaustion.

Qrow: Ruby!? Ruby!

She opened her eyes and smirked at her uncle.

Ruby: Told ya...

Kuraime then opened her eyes, to see Dairoku holding her.

Kuraime: *jokingly* My hero...

Dairoku just rolled his eyes and the two laughed together. As the other others regrouped, the Airship was seen rising from the forest.

Maria: Oh, don't tell me I missed it!

Cordo: No! No, no, no, NO!!! You! You're never getting to Atlas! Do you hear me!? NEVER!!! All forces converge on my position and eliminate these pests at once!

Oscar: Crap!

Maria: Everyone on board! We're making a run for it!

Jaune: What about Yang, Blake and Tyros?

Soldier: Ma'am, we've been trying to reach you! Argus is in danger!

Cordovin's eyes widen in horror as everyone looked back to Argus, only to see it being swarmed by multiple Manticores and Sphinxes but there was one... One giant Grimm slowly approaching it the city...A Leviathan...
