(3rd Person POV)

It was a few days after the attack on Haven Academy. Dairoku had recovered from his final fight with Lauren and everyone else had fully refurnished all their energy. Currently, everyone was gathered in the living room, packing up and preparing for their trip to Atlas. Ruby was packing stuff into her bag while Jaune sharpened his sword and Blake and Tyros leaned against the stair case. Dairoku was putting his Glacial Blaze and his Raising Moon into his weapon case along with some Dust Crystals but he decided on keeping Akoúo Sins and Andromeda on him.

Ruby: We need to take the relic to Atlas?

Qrow: That's what Oz said.

Everyone looked at Weiss as she was sorting Dust Cartridges in her Weapon Case before looking shocked.

Weiss: You've got to be joking...

Kuraime: Oh boy...

Nora: I mean on bright side, we finally get out of this house.

Weiss just sighed as Kuraime and Celeste gave her apologetic looks.

Qrow: Well, trust me I'm not crazy about it either but without the Spring Maiden here to seal it back into the vault, it's our best option.

Ren: Atlas may be the safest kingdom at the moment but its boarders are closed. General Ironwood called everyone back.

Qrow: Eh, not everyone. The city of Argus is a ways north of us and it's the primary trading port between Anima and Solitas. They've got the largest Atlas military base outside of the kingdom. There's no way they'd leave it abandoned and if we play our cards right, I think there's a good chance we can convince them to escort us straight to Ironwood.

Dairoku: *sigh* Argus...

Jaune: What's wrong?

Dairoku: Well... as you all know... Argus is the home town of me, Neo, Celeste, Kuraime and Lauren.

Yang: That's great isn't it? You'll be visiting home-

Dairoku: It's also Pyrrha's home town...

Everyone fell silent and looked down in grief...

Dairoku: *sigh* It's not that I don't want to go... It's just... going back there will... trigger a lot of... memories... and not to mention, her mother still lives there... In fact, out of the six of us, she's the only one whose parent is still in Argus. Ya'll already know about Celeste, Neo, Kuraime and Mine's parents.

Celeste: Lauren's parents both died from fatal diseases.

Kuraime: And Pyrrha's father... we're not sure where he is exactly... but the last thing Pyrrha told us is that he was suffering from a disease so...

Dairoku just sighed but Ruby hugged his arm.

Ruby: I know it will be hard for you... but you'll pull through. Just like all those times before. I'll be there for you, we all will.

Dairoku: *smiles* Yeah... You're right... Thanks Roselyn.

Qrow: *smiles* So, back on topic.

Blake: Well we DO have the missing heiress to the Schnee Dust Company.

Tyros: I don't like where this is going...

Weiss: EX-heiress actually.

Yang: True, true. But if there's a chance at reward money, I say we go for it.

Weiss: Ugh...

Celeste: *defensively hugs Weiss* No, no, no, no, no, no, NO!!! I have been SEPARATED from my love for almost TWO YEARS NOW! I'll be DAMNED if I reunited with her a few weeks ago only to have her pawned off back to that white bearded, piece of shit father she has! *looks at Weiss* No offense...?

Weiss: *giggles* None taken. *hugs her back*

Dairoku: Still gotta get used to that voice...

Celeste: Shush! You may not speak!

Dairoku: Alright, alright fallen-angel.

Tyros: Ha, getting told by your little sister.

Dairoku: Oh shut up. I've seen all the times Blake shut you up. So don't say anything.

Tyros: Pfft. Whatever.

Then Ozpin entered the room.

Ozpin: Hopefully, the first option will suffice.

Dairoku: Hey Oz.

Qrow: Glad to see you feeling better.

Ozpin: Likewise. And while I'm sure we could all use more time to recover, I'm afraid time is of the essence.

Blake: Right. As long as that thing's out in the open, its power could fall into the wrong hands.

Neo: Like the crazy fire bitch we all know and "love".

Kuraime: Not to mention... HER...

Kuraime clenched her fist remembering Salem but Ruby put her hand on hers and smiled at her. Kuraime just smiled back and leaned against her.

Jaune: So uh... Speaking of, what does it do, exactly? Qrow never really told us.

Qrow just looked at Ozpin as he turned around to address them.

Ozpin: Of course. *holds the relic out as it grows back to its normal size* The Relic of Knowledge has an incredibly powerful and dangerous ability. Its user can ask any question and the lamp will provide an answer.

Dairoku: So basically a jinni in a lamp just this time the wishes are replaced with questions.

Ren: Intriguing...

Blake: That's... incredible.

Ozpin: Indeed. However, it is not without drawbacks. The lamp cannot tell you of events that are yet to happen and it will only ever answer three questions, every 100 years.

Yang: Well, I guess that's not so bad. Adds a lot of pressure though.

Dairoku: Add to the fact that now I have two fucking Beasts in this necklace!

Artemis: Geez... Athena was right about you... You swear like a sailor...

Dairoku: Shaddup.

Nora: Then let's put it to a vote! *zips to Ruby and Kuraime causing them to stiffen up* What should we ask it first!? *zips to Qrow, causing him to spit out his coffee* Oh! *zips over to the lamp* Can we ask for more questions!? CAN WE ASK FOR MORE QUESTIONS!?

Dairoku: For fuck sakes Nora...

Neo and Ren: They're not wishes...

Ozpin: *chuckles* I'm afraid you won't be able to ask it anything at the moment. The questions were used before I sealed it away. *Nora mocks him while he keeps eyeing her*

Ruby: Well... at least we now know what it is. And we'll be sure to keep it safe.

CHAPTER 16: YOU...

(3rd Person POV)

Dairoku: So... Am I going to be the one to address the elephant in the room?

Celeste: What's up big brother?

Dairoku: Well... *looks at Kuraime* What the hell happened to Kuraime on that night?

Kuraime: Eh...?

Yang: Yeah, she went all... demonic and took on Cinder, Vernal and my mom all at once.

Kuraime: I-I... Did...?

Celeste, Blake and Tyros: She did?

Neo: You still don't remember?

Kuraime: N-No... All I remember before I woke up was Celeste getting impaled then I was blinded by red... Then when I woke up, I saw Celeste being healed...

Weiss: Well... whatever it was, it was triggered by your anger.

Kuraime: My anger...?

Weiss: Yeah... Remember back in Raven's camp when you got angry? You gained an... ominous aura and you're eyes turned white with your pupils disappearing.

Ruby: And when you used your Raven Onslaught for the first time, you gained that same aura.

Tyros: Not to mention every time you got even remotely pissed back at Beacon.

Yang: So I guess you seeing Celeste, 'die' just finally made something snap within you.

Kuraime: W-What...? My emotions are triggering this... demonic energy?

Ozpin: Correct Ms. Silewe.

Everyone looked at Ozpin.

Dairoku: Oz? You know what's happening with Kuraime, don't you?

Ozpin: I do. Remember when I told you that I sacrificed a large portion of my magic to give to the first Maidens and a small portion to the Branwen Twins? Well, that wasn't all I did. Throughout all my reincarnations, there was one bloodline that I gave a small portion of my magic to... The Silewes.

Kuraime: Do you mean my...

Ozpin: Yes, your ancestors. The first in your bloodline worked alongside me. His name was Diablo Silewe.

Celeste: Diablo... Silewe...?

Kuraime: I've heard that name before... my father always told me and my sister stories about him before we went to bed...

Ozpin: *nods* Back then, he wished that he had the ability to move faster, have stronger senses, have better strength and see farther than the average Human/Faunus. I offered to give him his wishes which he accepted. This new form gave him the ability to do all of the above and more. This form... is called, Devil's Trigger.

Blake: Devil's... Trigger?

Dairoku: So... is it like Barbatos and Bale?

Ozpin: You could say that but different. After seeing the performance of this new form for the first time, I decided to make it hereditary so any children born from this bloodline will also be born with the magic that was given to Diablo all those years ago. So, every time a new child was born into the Silewe bloodline, they would inherit the Devil's Trigger form. One of which, was your father, Akatsu Silewe.

Kuraime just looked at him shocked.

Neo: So... that demonic, angel-winged form she took... it was...

Ozpin: Yes. That was Kuraime's Devil's Trigger form, more specifically, Marchosias.

Ruby: Marchosias...?

Dairoku: Is everything nowadays named after demons?

Artemis: Nope. The author's just obsessed with demon names.

Hey...

Ozpin: *chuckles* Yes, that is an ongoing trend.

Kuraime: So... my natural enhanced speed, strength, durability, all of my enhanced senses and my... ominous 'state'... are all because my bloodline has... magic...?

Ozpin: Affirmative.

Ruby: Wow... That's so cool...

Ozpin: You're Devil's Trigger form is powerful, considering you fought against two Maidens and a well trained Bandit but it puts a strain on your body, the longer you stay in it. You're body hasn't gotten used to the new found magic in your blood but overtime when it does, you'll be able to stay in the form for much longer.

Kuraime just continued staring at her hands in shock, as an ominous aura faintly glowing around them.

Kuraime: Dad...

.....................

Currently it was night time and Dairoku was in his room, inspecting his mother's scythe, Andromeda. He was smiling at it but them tears began to weld up in his eyes... not only did it remind him of his mother... but of Athena as well... He stared deeply into the eye-shape near to the scythe blade but then he saw something... A vision... a woman wearing a red cloak but she had two large off-white wings that were positioned like his, over the shoulders... she turned around to reveal her face... white shoulder-length hair with a rose-goldish hue, silver eyes... it was his actual mother... Scarletina Yuuki... But another figure stood next to her... she looked the same but she had two extra pairs of wings... Athena...

Scarletina: We are very proud of you, little angel.

Athena: Kick Salem's butt for us!

. . .

???: Dairoku!

. . .

Dairoku's eyes suddenly opened, revealing Ruby standing next to him, shaking his shoulder...

Dairoku: Wha... What happened...!?

Ruby: You were just staring at this scythe. I called out to you but you didn't answer so I got worried.

Dairoku: *sigh* Sorry about that...

Ruby: Are... you okay? You're crying...

Dairoku: *sniffles* Am I? *wipes tears* Right... I am... I was just... remembering my mother and Athena...

Ruby: *looks at Andromeda* Oh... This is your mother's?

Dairoku: Yeah... Andromeda...

He pressed a button as Andromeda folded back into its compact form before resting it next to Crescent Rose and Akoúo Sins.

Ruby: Hey Dairoku...

Dairoku: Yeah...?

Ruby: Um... About us...

Dairoku: Oh... Right...*smiles* well, I think I have an answer for you.

Ruby: You do?

Dairoku continued smiling and walked over to Ruby before taking out his scroll and turning on a song to play.

Ruby's face took an expression of shock as she put her hand over her mouth, staring at the now singing, winged Faunus in front of her...

Dairoku gently took her hand and lead her over to chairs before sitting her down on one, and sitting on another directly in front of her...

Tears began to fall from Ruby's face as she kept her hand over her mouth...

Dairoku gently took both of her hands and held them tightly while smiling lovingly at her...

Dairoku slowly got up confusing Ruby slightly... before he suddenly got on one knee and took out a small black box from his pocket...

He smiled at her and slowly opened the box to reveal a ring with a ruby gem, sitting in the middle of the soft rose red material within the box... Ruby's eyes widen at the realization... He... He was asking her the question...

♫...you♫

She desperately tried to stop the tears but they kept coming... She... She couldn't believe it... was it all a joke...? Was it just some amazing dream...? Or... or...

Dairoku: *smiling* Ruby... No amount of words can express how I feel right now. You've been there for me since the beginning... Standing up to Cardin for me, never leaving my side when my father died... Even when I had to face Neo... you gave courage... And, when I was so focused on stopping Lauren, you slapped me back into reality, literally. You reminded me that I don't have to face everything alone... Even after I made so many mistakes... when I broke your promises... broke your heart... you still never left my side... even when I never wanted you there in the first place...You're so filled with optimism and positivity... you're like a light in my dark world... a light of hope that always brought me back, stronger than ever... You're my strength Ruby... I don't think I would have made it to where I am without you... I love you with everything I have Ruby and I would be making a mistake if I didn't ask you this one question... Ruby Rose... My Little Rose... My sweet, sweet Roselyn... Will you become my family? Will you marry me?

At this point, Ruby had given up on trying to stop herself from crying more as she just burst out in tears of happiness and lunged into Dairoku's arms...

Ruby: *sobs* YES!!! YES!!! I'd die before I count all the times I'll say yes!!! I will happily marry you Daiku! I love you... I love you so much...

Dairoku: *eyes widen* Daiku...?

Ruby: *eyes widen and pulls away* O-Oh, s-sorry! I didn't mean-

Dairoku then put a finger on her lips silencing her before smiling at her.

Dairoku: It's alright... you can use that nickname for me... When I was first given that nickname, it symbolized a deep connection... So, you can call me that... It just shows how deep of a connection we have with each other... that no matter what happens, we'll never leave each other's side.

Ruby smiled sweetly at him. Dairoku then held up the ring to her as her held out her hand and he gently slid it over her wedding finger... The ruby gem in the middle sparkled within the moonlight as she held it up... This only triggered her to cry more.

Ruby: *sobs* I love you, Daiku.

Dairoku: *smiles and takes her hand* And I love you too, Roselyn.

They leaned into each other before locking their lips into a loving embrace. Everything about this kiss was just perfect... The amount of bliss and passion had exceeded any kiss they had before... It was the kiss that marked the beginning of their engagement...As the pulled away, a strand of saliva connected their lips. They smiled lovingly at each other before Ruby walked over to the door and turned the lock. Dairoku stood up as she looked at him, all the while taking off her ring and putting it in its case before gently putting it on the table. Then one by one, she took off each piece of her clothing, leaving her in her rose red underwear. Dairoku knew exactly what she was implying and complied, taking off each piece of fabric except for his black boxers.

Ruby then turned off the lights and went over to the bed before laying down on it and patting a spot next to her, all the while smiling. Dairoku smiled back before joining her in the bed. Immediately the two locked lips again, all the while Ruby pulled Dairoku on top of her. This heated, yet blissful kiss ended before Dairoku began to make a kissing trail along Ruby's neck and collarbone, earning him blissful and soft moans for her. He then stopped and stared her directly into her eyes...

Ruby: Daiku...

Dairoku: Yes Roselyn...?

Ruby: I don't want to go to bed tonight...

Dairoku: Neither do I...

Ruby: So... *leans up and whispers in his ears* Lets spend all night, alone and together...

Dairoku: Yes... I'd love to...

Ruby: I love you, Dairoku.

Dairoku: I love you too, Ruby.

And. It. Is. OVER!!!!! PHEW! This Volume's by far been my favorite to write and the longest one too. So, Volume 6 is next, heh.
