(Blake's POV)

So there I was, on a boat, by myself, leaving Vale... I was just leaning against the rails but I got slightly startled from the sound of kids playing... Why was this happening to me...?

???: Traveling alone?

That voice startled me as I quickly turned around, my hand on Gambol Shroud. I slightly calmed down, when I saw it as the Captain...

Captain: Now, now. No threat here. Just here to chat.

Me: And why is that?

Captain: Well, not many people travel by boat on their own. It can be quite a lonely voyage, but I found those that do tend to have the more... interesting stories.

Me: ...Maybe it's just better for some people alone...

I got startled again from the sudden sound of screaming. I quickly turned around, scared but calmed down when I saw it was just kids playing...

Captain: *chuckles* Maybe, but with your paranoia, I think a few friendly faces wouldn't hurt.

Me: Who says I'm paranoid!?

Captain: No one dear, no one. I'll leave you be. *Begins walking away* But, uh fair warning. There trips can be awfully boring.

The Captain walked away as I looked back to the sea... I took a deep breath and began untying my bow before holding it out to the sea... No longer do I have to hide...

Me: Won't be needing this.

I let it go and watched as it drifted into the ocean... After watching it for a while, I began walking towards the bow of the ship, my cat ears now freed...

"HOME... TO MENAGERIE..."
CHAPTER 3: THE RUNNER AND THE STOWAWAY

(Blake's POV)

The sun began to set as I stared off into the waters... Suddenly, I gained a strange feeling... almost as it someone was... watching me... I quickly turned around and pointed Gambol Shroud in its SMG mode; it was a cloaked figure...

Me: Who's there!?

The figure quickly disappeared... Before I could investigate, the boat suddenly rocked violently... When I looked to the bow of the ship, I saw something... large raise from the sea... Black, red, white... A Grimm... Not just any Grimm though... It was a Sea Feilong...

I read about it in books and I knew they lived in these deep waters but I never thought I'd run into one... Wait... was it my negative attitude that attracted it...?

Captain: All hands to battle stations!

I jumped off the boat, using my clone from my Semblance to boost myself up to it. I threw Gambol Shroud at it, sticking it into its head and then swung myself onto its back before shooting it and jumping back to the ship. When I stuck the landing, the Sea Feilong rushed at the ship but the Captain maneuvered the ship, Starboard side and the Sea Feilong missed. I jumped back at it, converting Gambol Shroud to its sword mode and slashed at it but the Captain fired the ship's cannons at both it and me. When I landed back on the ship, I began kneeling as I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. The Sea Feilong tried to attack me but suddenly. Three fire Dust arrows pierced its sides and exploded, causing it to cry in pain and disorienting it slightly. I was confused until I saw a figure walk right next to me, wearing an all black outfit with silver lining... He was also holding a very familiar bladed bow and had a quiver on his back...

???: *sigh* You can't stay out of trouble huh?

I recognized that voice...

Me: ...Tyros!?

He turned around and looked at me, smirking slightly.

Tyros: Hey sis.

Me: What are you doing here!?

Tyros: Why did you run off without saying anything?

I tried to answer him but fell silent. Then, the Sea Feilong roared, gaining our attention. Tyros quickly pulled out a fire and ice Dust arrow.

Tyros: You know what? Talk later, fight now!

The Sea Feilong suddenly began crunching over as two things rose from its back. Then it roared, revealing two wings... As it flew into the air, someone suddenly jumped on my head.

Me: Hey!

Whoever it was, jumped off of my head and threw off their cloak, revealing... Sun???

Tyros: Ah shit...

Me: Sun!?

He jumped on to the Sea Feilong and grabbed it's 'whiskers' and began to steer it as it tried to sake him off.

Sun: Not today pal!

Me: What are you doing here!?

Tyros: No, WHY are you here?

Sun: Oh you know! Just... hanging around!

Eventually, the Sea Feilong successfully knocked him off and he began tumbling towards the ocean.

Tyros: Oh god... Blake!

Me: Ugh, fine.

I launched off the ship towards Sun as Tyros jumped towards the Sea Feilong and shot three more Fire Dust Arrows into its back before they exploded. I managed to catch Sun as Tyros landed next to us.

Sun: My hero!

Me: You're not supposed to be here! In fact, neither of you are!

Sun: Yeah? Well, it looks like you could use all the help you can get!

Tyros just shook his head as I sighed and dropped Sun.

Me: Just shut up and fight.

Tyros and I jumped back towards the Sea Feilong which was currently distracted by the ship.

Sun: Yes ma'am!

As I landed back on the boat, Tyros shot a few more arrows at the Sea Feilong before landed next to me. The Sea Feilong opened its mouth and began charging up an electrical beam but Sun managed to get in front of us and deflect it with his staff.

Captain: Huntsman! If you could clip its wings and draw it out towards the bow, we can take it!

Sun: I mean... you're the one with the swords.

I glared at Sun as Tyros took out four arrows, a fire, ice, earth and lightning Dust.

Tyros: Alright, let's end this!

Sun: It's now or never!

I nodded before running towards the bow, where Tyros was waiting. I hopped on his hand and he boosted me into the air as Sun boosted himself and two clones into the air. Each clone launched me higher before I launched myself off Sun. As I free fall, the Sea Feilong fired off its lightning beam at me but I rolled out of the way before landing on its right wing and dragging by blade through the sail. Then not too long after, one of Sun's clones boosted Tyros into the air, where he aimed and fired off his four Dust Arrows at the Sea Feilong's left wing, causing an elemental explosion and blowing a hole in the wing. Before I touched down on the ground, Sun caught me bridal style and Tyros landed next to us.

Sun: This is the part where you say it.

Me: Ugh...

Tyros: I really don't like you...

Suddenly, everything shook as the Sea Feilong popped out of the water. We all began jumping through the rocks as it aggressively chased us. Sun and Tyros were about to get eaten by it but I swung in and saved them but we were in a bad situation as it prepared to fire off a beam at us. Thankfully, the ship rammed into it and shot it with its Heavy Cannon, blowing off the head and killing it...

Sun: Haha! Up top!

I turned around and immediately slapped Sun... Tyros just sighed...

After that battle, our ship was set back on course and everyone on the ship were in a better mood.

Sun: You'd think they'd never seen a fight before.

Tyros put his head in his hand and looked out into the horizon.

Me: What are you doing here Sun?

Sun: Digging the new looks by the way.

Me: Sun!

Tyros: You know... with that negative attitude of yours, you could be drawing more Sea Feilongs here...

I grumbled as I glared at my brother.

Sun: What, geez.

Me: Have you been following me!?

Sun: Why are you only mad at me!? I'm not the only one who followed you, you know!

Tyros: Reminder... I'm her brother. I make sure she's safe and look after her.

Sun: Well don't you think I was worried too? She just left without saying anything and if I didn't say anything to you, you wouldn't have even noticed!

Tyros: *sigh* I'll give you that one...

Me: I had to... You wouldn't understand...

Tyros: Blake...

Sun: No, I get it. The moment you left, I knew exactly what you were going to do.

Tyros: Oh no...

I was slightly surprised... Until...

Sun: You're both going on a Brother, Sister rampage against the White Fang!

Me: ...What...?

Tyros: I might have an aneurysm from sheer stupidity...

Sun: You both always felt like the fang was your fight. They show up, trash your school, hurt your friends. It makes perfect sense!

Me: I can't believe you...

Sun: But there's no way I'm letting you both do this alone. It's an honorable approach for sure, buy you're both gonna need some back up. And that's where I come in! Us Faunus gotta stick together after all.

Me: You're wrong Sun... You're so, so wrong...

Sun: What are you-

Me: I'm not going anywhere NEAR the White Fang... Not yet...

Sun: Seriously?

Tyros: Seriously.

Me: I need to sort things out...

Sun: Then why not do it with your friend, your team?

Tyros: Hate to admit it but he's right. Why did you just leave without saying anything?

Me: Oh don't give me that! You're both one to talk! Assuming Neptune, Sage and Scarlet aren't hiding below deck! And what about Dairoku, Celeste and Kuraime!?

Tyros: Well unlike SOMEONE, I told them where I was going. Well, the ones that were awake...

He said that last part quietly... I knew he was hinting towards Dairoku...

Sun: And do you really think I could get Neptune on the ocean?

Tyros: Solution; throw him in the ocean. There.

Sun: Huh... I'll think about that one. Anyways, they flew back to Mistral, I told them I'd catch up; not the first time I left them to take a boat. So... if you aren't going after the White Fang, where ARE you going?

Me and Tyros: Home.

Me: To Menagerie.

Sun: Well I'm coming with you!

Tyros: Please no...

Sun: The Grimm are getting worse, you saw it yourselves, and just because you're not going after the Fang, doesn't mean they won't be coming for either of you. Besides, I'm... kinda already on the boat.

Tyros: I mean, I could just throw you overboard...

I slightly smiled.

Me: There's really no stopping you.

Sun: Nope!

Tyros: Except for the fact I could throw you overboard...

Number 2 is Tyros' new outfit for Volumes 4-6. He has his quiver on his back and he stores Grimm Hunter on his thighs in its twin blade mode.
