(3rd Person POV)

Currently, Team RWBY were sitting at a table in the Cafeteria with Blake looking at a drawing of a strange rose while Yang next to her was messing around with Nora from Team JNPR on the table in front of them. Yang took noticed of Blake and decided to start a conversation with her.

Yang: Watcha doing?

Blake was kind of startled but closed the book

Blake: N-Nothing. Just going over notes from last semester.

Yang quickly caught a grape in her mouth that Nora threw

Yang: Lame.

Nora began giggling before throwing another grape at Yang which she caught again. All of a sudden, Ruby slammed a large binder onto the table, startling her teammates; it said 'Vytal Festival Activities Property of Weiss Schnee'. Below it read, 'Best Day Ever Activities' which had been written on. Ruby cleared her throat.

Ruby: Sisters... Friends... Weiss...

Weiss: Hey!

Ruby was about to continue when he noticed that Dairoku nor his team were with them.

Ruby: Where's Dairoku?

Blake: We thought he was with you.

Yang: Buuuutttt... since he isn't, he might be with his team somewhere.

Ruby: Hmm... Okay Four score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream.

Yang: This ought to be good.

Ruby: A dream that one day, the four of us, hopefully accompanied by our new friends, will come together, as a team and have the most fun anyone has ever had.. ever!

Weiss: Did you steal my binder?

Ruby: I am not a crook.

Blake: What are you talking about?

Ruby: I'm talking about kicking off the semester with a bang!

Yang: I always kick off my semester with a Yang! Eh? Guys? Am I right?

Everyone just stayed quiet and looked at her not amused until Nora from the other table, threw an apple at her head.

Nora: BOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Yang: Dairoku would have liked it...

Blake: I think even he would agree it was a bad one...

Yang just pouted at Blake.

Ruby: Look guys, it's been a good two weeks and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament at the end of the year, our second semester is going to be great! But, classes start back up tomorrow... which is why I've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us today!

Weiss: I don't know whether to be proud or scared of what you have in store.

Yang then tossed an apple across the room which sounded like it hit another student instead of Nora as he shouted 'Hey!' and Nora began giggling.

Blake: I don't know... I think I might sit this one out.

Weiss: Sit out or not, I think that however we spend this last day, we should do it as a team.

Nora: I got it!

Weiss: I for one think that-

Weiss was cut off by a pie hitting her face. Ruby, Blake and Yang looked at JNPR with the same amount of shock as Jaune and Pyrrha while Nora looked scared and tried to pin the blame on Ren who was face palming.

Outside, Celeste, Kuraime and Tyros were walking down the courtyard towards the Cafeteria, looking for Dairoku.

Tyros: Where the hell is the fried chicken? We've been looking for him all day!

Kuraime: Well we haven't checked the Cafeteria. He could be there with his new friends.

Celeste next to Kuraime just nodded as Kuraime continued to suck on her lollipop.

Sun: Hey Tyros!

The three second years turned around to see Sun walking up to them with a guy with blue hair

Tyros: Oh...Hey Sun...

Sun: Oh don't be like that bud.

Tyros: Yeah whatever... Who's your friend?

Sun: Oh, that's Neptune. He's a part of my team. Neptune, this guy's the brother of the girl I was talking about.

Neptune: Sup.

Neptune then noticed Kuraime and Celeste and suddenly gained some confidence.

Neptune: It's an honor to meet you ladies.

To say the two didn't look impressed was an understatement

Celeste and Kuraime: -_-

Neptune: So, how about the three of us go get something to ea-

Before Neptune could finish, Kuraime pointed her weapon at is neck, a LMG/Bolt-action rifle/Scythe hybrid known as Poison Ivy in scythe mode with a shadow lingering over her emotionless and cold eyes.

Kuraime: We're NOT interested. Now back off.

Tyros: Yeah... a bit of a word to you Neptune, the Winged Faunus girl is my leader's sister and the one with the scythe is really close friends with him; their practically brother and sister with how close they are. So, the last thing you want to do is flirt with them.

Neptune sweat dropped before nodding. Kuraime's Poison Ivy folded back into its compact mode before she re-holstered on the back of her waist.

Kuraime: Yup.

Celeste nodded her head in agreement without making any noise.

Sun: Is she...?

Tyros: Yup, she's mute. It's a... personal topic for us.

Sun: Ah okay, I get it. Anyways, where are you guys heading?

Tyros: To the Cafeteria, in search of Dai-

???: FOOD FIGHT!!!

All of a sudden, screams coming from the Cafeteria could be heard. When they walked up to the main doors, they say many students running out of the Cafeteria as the heard Nora laughing like mad while standing on top of a bunch of stacked tables with her Team.

Nora: AHAHAHAHA! I'M QUEEN OF THE CASTLE! I'M QUEEN OF THE CASTLE!

Ruby, slammed her foot on the table before squeezing a milk carton.

Ruby: Justice will be swift! Justice will be painful! It will be DELICIOUS!!!

WBY: YEAH!!!

As the amazing food fight concluding Neptune was covered by some soda as everyone looked at the teams amused; Kuraime found a piece of chicken and was devouring it, including the bone...

Sun: I love these guys.

Suddenly, Glynda busted into the room, obviously mad as she set everything back into place with her semblance of Telekinesis. Tyros, Kuraime and Celeste began to walk up to Team RWBY and JNPR as Glynda began to lecture them...

Kuraime: Huh...? Where's Yang?

As she asked that, Yang suddenly fell through the roof.

Kuraime: There she is

Laughter grew between the two teams as Tyros walked up to his sister, Kuraime went next to Ruby and Celeste when next to Weiss.

Tyros: Seems like you had a lot of fun sis.

Blake: Oh Tyros.

Ruby: Hey there guys.

The three waved at the teams.

Tyros: So, have you guys seen-

Glynda: Where is that boy!?

Glynda sounded angry beyond belief

Pyrrha: Who?

Glynda: Dairoku! Did he start this food fight again!?

Ruby began nervously pushing her index fingers together.

Ruby: No... W-We started it...

Yang: ...Again?

Kuraime found a piece of pizza to eat now

Kuraime: Yup. Dairoku started one last year, though this one in comparison to last year was like a baby throwing food.

Tyros: Heh, yeah good times.

The three shared a satisfied look before Tyros began to ask them.

Tyros: Anyways, have any of you guys seen him? We figured he was with you guys.

Ruby: No, we thought he was with you guys. We haven't seen him all day. I wanted to ask him if he wanted to hang out with us and you guys could come as well.

Yang: Aww, that's because you have a cru-

Ruby quickly used her semblance of Petal Burst to rush over to Yang and cover her mouth to Kuraime's surprise.

Kuraime's Thoughts: Her semblance... Dairoku was right, it is like mine...

Ruby: Shut up, shut up, shut up!

Celeste just chuckled at her antics.

Tyros: Damnit, he isn't here either...

???: I assume you all are looking for Mr. Rein

Everyone turned around to see Ozpin walking up to them, mug in hand.

Tyros: Yes, do you have any idea where he could be?

Ozpin: I might have a clue. Follow me.

Ozpin lead the way as Teams RCST, RWBY, JNPR followed by Sun, Neptune and Glynda followed behind him to the direction of Glynda's combat class. As they got closer, they noticed the sudden fluctuation of the temperature.

Yang: Man... Why is it getting colder and hotter at the same time?

Weiss: And why is there steam in the air...?

As the continued their way, Celeste suddenly got excited as she heard the screeching of a Phoenix. Ozpin just chuckled as Glynda sighed

Glynda: Oh no...

Everyone walking into the room, only to see flames and ice and to see Dairoku clashing his Glacial Blaze with the Dust supercharged up with a man that looked similar to him, just he wasn't a Faunus. The man had a frosty aura and wielded twin blades that Fire and Ice Dust crystals in the hilts. Celeste got super excided upon seeing the man while Pyrrha just smiled.

Man: Not bad hot head, though you still can't up your old man by even one.

Dairoku: Heh, oh you just wait old timer. With your age catching up to you, I'd say we're even.

Man: Heh oh really? Well let's fix that shall we?

Dairoku and the man charged each other again, sending waves of fire and ice respectively at each other.

Ruby: Wow... Who is that guy, he's awesome!

Pyrrha: That is Daiku and Celeste's father, Kai Rein.

Ozpin: Correct.

Everyone beside Glynda and CST: THAT'S THEIR DAD!?

Weiss: THAT'S Kai Rein!? He's... not the man I thought he would be...

Yang: Do you seriously expect every legend to be all strict and boring?

Weiss: Quiet you!

Dairoku and Kai continued their clash, trading Dust and semblance enhanced slashes with each other before the eventually came to a parry.

Kai: Come on hot head, is that all you got? Or have the flames of a phoenix grown weak?

In response, Dairoku kicked his father back with full force in a similar fashion to what he did with Weiss.

Dairoku: Oh don't worry old timer, these flames burn brighter than your future!

Dairoku extended his wings as his Semblance took over, igniting his wings and the blades of Glacial Blaze before he rose up into the air and began sending slash-waves of fire and ice down to his father who, as his swords got coated in ice, he blocked his son's attacks with slash-waves of his own, before he converted his swords into twin pistols and began firing fire and ice Dust rounds upon his son. Dairoku was forced to end his onslaught to deflect the dust bullets his father was sending at him. Then, Dairoku did something risky, he took Blaze which was fully ignited and threw it blade first to his father who, converted his ice Dust sword back to sword mode. The two swords clashed in mid air before redirecting each other into the walls. Dairoku then continued supercharging his Glacial as the steam came off of it from the flames burning before making a large downward slash on his father, who blocked it with his fire Dust sword, creating a large could of steam.

When the steam cleared itself, Dairoku was on the ground with Kai sitting on his back, looking victorious

Kai: Like I said, I'm still up by one

Kai smirked at his son who rolled his eyes and pouted

Dairoku: Whatever old timer.

Kai got off him and helped him up. As the two stood up, Kai was immediately tackled by Celeste who was acting all childish and excited.

Kai: Heh, hey there little fallen angel. I missed you too.

Ozpin: Hello there Kai.

Kai: Hey Oz.

Kai then noticed Glynda.

Kai: Wicked Witch of the West.

Glynda: *sigh* Hello Kai...

Dairoku stretched his wings to grab his father and his' swords that were still in the wall, with steam radiating from them. Dairoku holstered Glacial Blaze under his wings as he handed his dad his sword. Everyone walked over to him.

Dairoku: Oh hey there guys, Little Rose. Umm... Why are you guys covered in food?

Ruby: We... kinda had a food fight.

Dairoku: What!? A food fight!? Oh god Damnit! I wish I was there!

Tyros: Well we would have called you if a certain FRIED CHICKEN had his scroll on.

Dairoku: Oh sorry that you're butt-hurt about me ignoring you.

Tyros: Were you seriously holding a grudge from last time?

Dairoku: I don't know what you're talking about Puma. Oh, by the way Kuraime...

Dairoku reached into his pocket and pulled out a lollipop.

Dairoku: Here

Kuraime's eyes immediately lit up and she grabbed it from him, faster than anyone could see.

Kuraime: MINE!

Dairoku: Hehehe... You're welcome.

Ruby: So Dairoku, I... uh was wondering if you and your team would like to hang out with us.

Dairoku looked at his team who all nodded in agreement, then back at Ruby.

Dairoku: We'd love to.

Kai: So you're going to introduce me to your friends, hot head?

Dairoku: Oh! They're my friends that started this year, Team RWBY and JNPR.

Kai looked at them with a satisfied look before seeing Pyrrha.

Kai: Achilles Tomato! You're here!

A small tick of anger popped up on Pyrrha's head as Dairoku laughed.

Pyrrha: It's... good to see you too Mr. Rein...

Ozpin: Sorry to interrupt the reunion but we still need to discuss everything from your last mission Kai.

Kai: Right, right.

He turned to look at Dairoku and Celeste.

Kai: A'ight. I gotta run so you two stay out of trouble.

Dairoku: No promises.

Kai: AttaBoy.

The two fist bumped before he scratched his daughter's head.

Kai: But in all seriousness, take care of your sister.

Dairoku: Always did, always will.

Kai: Good.

Kai walked away with Ozpin and Glynda as Dairoku rested his hand on Celeste's shoulder.

Ruby: Dairoku, your dad is so cool!

Dairoku: Heh, damn right he is. Also, no offense to you guys but, I think ya'll should take a shower before we hang out, unless you always want to smell like food... I can't even tell if that's your hair color or ketchup in your head Little Rose...

Ruby: O-Oh! R-Right...!

And so begins Volume 2! I was actually looking forward to write this chapter so I'm excited. I hope you guys like Kai and by the way, his weapon is called Rising Moon and his Semblance, there's no specific name for it but it's basically the opposite of Dairoku's; he can manipulate Ice. Anyways stay tuned for the next chapter!
