(Warning:This one shot starts off very angsty if you don't like this kinda stuff then please skip this one shot and wait for the next)

Alone,that's the only emotion that you felt while sitting in a cell watching soldiers move down the hallway disappearing from sight as you sat here clutching your legs your chin resting on then you eyes closed letting loose a small tear. You missed him, you missed shiro and all you had left was your memories of him the memory of his smile and the memory of your last conversation before this had all happened.

'Your eyes scanned over the vast sea of stars gazing over every one dully not really looking to much watching in a vain attempt to clear your mind from missing earth, you had been away for so long that you have fallen into depression meaning you were forced to wear a mask in front of him, because you loved him to much to add more weight on his shoulders he had to much as it is. Slumping your shoulders and staring out into the endless sea of stars a soft sigh escapes your lips. You felt weak and you hated it, you hated how every one but you had a job to do not because they wanted to but because if they didn't the universe would crumble. Slumping your shoulders your (E/C) eyes gazed out dully the light of the stars absent in them as a frown etched its self in your lips.

"Beautiful isn't it?" A voice asks gaining your attention the feeling of some one next to you strong.

"Very" you reply with a forced smile, just for him standing up to stand next to him and gaze out.

"This reminds me of when we'd go star gazing in high school" the male next to you said a fond smile on his lips as his gray eyes reflect the stars.

"Yeah...I remember you coming over to my house at midnight" you laugh lightly remembering how that had went and how mad your parent(s) were at him.

"It was worth it though" the male next to you said his eyes tearing away from the stars to look at you with a fond smile before a frown twitched his lips. "I miss that"

"We could always..." you start not thinking about your sentence to clearly. "..Go home.." the male next to you looked at you for a moment watching how your face fell your eyes refusing to meet his as they glistened with tears that never fell down your face.

"You know we can't do that..to much has happened I can't abandon the team" shiro responded a faint smile on his lips when your eyes finally meet his a forced smile on your lips and a forced laugh leaving them.

"Of course..I was being selfish I shouldn't of.." you started trying to contain your tears before you laughed a little for real causing shiro's hand to our stretch reaching for your shoulder as you turned to face him a stray tear falling down your face. "I guess we'll have to run away together then.." you attempted to joke only to choke on your tears looking down at your feet. Shiro watched you deciding on what to do before his hand reached for your cheek instead wiping away the tears that had fallen down your face causing your eyes to look at him.

"I'd like to, but as long as Zarkon is still out there we can't.." shiro's faint smile became wobbly at the corners from watching you his mind heavy with the regret of bringing you with him.

"I know" you finally breathed out pulling shiro into a tight embrace looking down as more tears fell down your face. "Pretend for me-just for a moment..that we can go home" you shakily ask feeling shiros arms wrap around you a loose tear falling from his own eyes.

"Alright" he responded after a long pause of silence. "When we get back home" he starts taking a big shaky breath. "Lets go star gazing again, like we used to"

"I'd like that" you say breathing out with a real smile. "We could go out at midnight like we used to and sit in the big field and just watch the stars" you breath out again feeling tears down your face.

"I'll make sure to pack some snacks to just like we used to" shiro responds his voice distant as he remembers the past.

"Just like we used to" you agreed before the sirens went off in the castle signaling that something was happening you and shiro looked at each other before sprinting done the hall way both of you blissfully unaware at how horrible the day was going to end'

That day felt like a distant memory, that became farther and farther from reach with each new day. Your eyes looked over the small cell you were kept in for the time being your eyes dull while staring out of the bars that held you in your cage. It was worth it though, that's what you kept telling your self. You saved him just like he saved you, thinking about it now a small smile found its way to your lips while you clutched your knees the clothing you wore baggy under you with tears. Your eyes gazed down at your metal leg they had given you looking at it made you think about how much you had given up, for him. A small tear fell down your face as you heard the sound of marching feet, they were coming for you again and this Tim you'd lose your arm. Your body began to shake thinking about the horrible things they were going to put you through, preparing to come face to face with your captors your eyes widen seeing a worried shiro instead.

"I'm so sorry (Y/N)" shiro mumbled opening the bars to your cage and pulling you out to his embrace. "I'm so so sorry this was all my fault..." shiro whispered into your ear causing your eyes to tear up.

"We gotta move the soldiers should be heading back now" some one said to shiro causing his eyes to look at them before he pulled away from you keeping his grip on your hand.

"Lets go home (Y/N)" shiro says leading the way to escape from the prison you were in your hair flowing behind you as you both ran.

'Home..' you thought tears building in your eyes a smile making its way to your lips,you were finally going home not to earth that was never home but with shiro and that had always been your real home.
