It was horrible watching from afar, the way the white space lit up with light from on coming fire from the enemy causing the castle to rumble from the sudden hit, but you didn't care about what was happening from where you were. What you cared about was what was happening in the battle field, your stomach turned in agony watching as the black lion sprinted towards the attacker the cry of battle echoing through the intercoms.

"Keith what are you doing?!" Lance shouted as the blue lion watched from close to the castle watching in fear as Keith's black lion raced towards the galra monster that was firing towards the yellow and green lion before its attention was draw towards him. Keith didn't answer his rage taking control of his body his lion slamming into the monster with force enough to move a planet.

"Keith!" Your voice called out your arm stretching out in a vain attempt to reach out to him. "Back off he's gonna kill you!" You shouted feeling sick watching from the side lines unable to do anything. He didn't listen to you only repeatedly attacking the creature before him anger clear in his eyes with each hit. You couldn't take it any more your eyes felt watery from watching the pressure of the situation becoming way to real causing you to take a sprint toward the control panel coran was at pushing him away a little and slamming your hand down on one of the buttons hoping you hit the canons.

Luck was on your side when they charged up and shot towards the monster at full force causing it to fall slightly to the side angering it and sealing its defenses enough for the team to form voltron and finish it. Relief flooded your veins when the monster died and every one returned to castle safely exhaustion clear in their eyes along with relief.

"Glad that's over" Lance says with a sigh dropping his arms in exhaustion earning a nod from hunk and a sigh from pidge.

"I thought for a moment we lost Keith" pidge stated pushing up her glasses causing the glass to gleam in the light.

"Well we didn't and I am greatful thay coran was able to fire the canons just in time" allura stated with a happy hum.

"Actually princess (Y/N) pushed me out of the way and hit the button I didn't know she knew where it was!" Coran stated with a proud smile looking over at you. Your eyes widened at the sudden looks you got from every one but most importantly the one you were receiving from your boyfriend.

"I honestly guessed in glad it was a good one I was worried for you guys" you said trying to shrug off the horrible feeling that had settled in the pit of your stomach, maybe it wasn't a god idea to press random buttons...

Keith stared at you with a blank expression on his face his first tightly clinched in his hand as every one cheered a little for you happy you were able to help with not knowing much about the technology. Your eyes trailed to Keith watching him angrily walk away in long strides his feet creating an echo that bounced off the walls, had you don't something wrong? Your small smile slowly faded to a frown as you excused your self running towards Keith following him into his room with a frown.

"You had no right." Keith started anger dripping like venom in his voice causing you to take a step back.

"Keith I-" you started feeling hurt by his words, what did he mean by that you had every right.

"You had no right to stop me from finish it!" He shouted at you turning around so you could see his angered face and the tear trailing down his face causing your eyes to widen.

"You weren't going to kill it like that! You could have gotten killed!!" You shouted back at him feeling heartbroken at his cruel words, did he not know the agony you felt watching him? "You could of died you could have gotten hurt!"

"I'm not a child-" Keith tried to cut you off backing you to a wall in the heat of the argument you back hitting it after stepping back. His fingers found their way to the front of your shirt shoving you to the wall a little more pinning you there. You opened your mouth to shoot back at him before warm lips met yours anger fear sadness blended into a heated kiss between you two. Your eyes widened a little bit before you kissed back the same the agony of waiting the fear of him not coming back crashing back in the kiss.

Slowly the clutch on your shirt loosened before your arms were pinned above your head keeping you from being free as Keith pulled back for air his face flushed while he panted anger still in his eyes.

"You had no right." Keith said before latching his lips to yours again in another kiss, drowning you in his lust and anger. His teeth nibbled at your bottom lip causing you to deny him what he wanted. His hands moved from pinning you to the wall to your hips sighing his nails into your sides in an attempt to never let you go causing you to gasp allowing his tongue access. Both danced around fighting for dominance before the need for air became great and Keith pulled back again ready to attack your lips with his once more only to hesitate when you spoke.

"I have every right to protect what I love" you spoke sighing your nails into his shoulder your eyes glossy with one thing on your mind now and looking at you he knew what you wanted and he knew how much you really cared for him and that made him want more. Growling slightly Keith lunched himself at your lips again capturing them in a heated kiss calming what was his. He didn't want to say it he never did he found the words to be meaningless but now he knew they weren't, he knew they had power and it wasn't just a stupid thing people say. He loved you and he was going to prove it.
