Before anything could get too quiet, a sound of a familiar howl has sounded throughout the base. It has almost made both Krolia and Keith jump. "That might be Cosmo," Krolia calm herself.

Keith sighed, "I'll go check on him," he stood up. "Before Kolivan asks any questions about Cosmo's howl and about our report."

"Alright," Krolia smiled. "I'll continue with the scanning while you are gone,"

"Thanks mom,"

"You're welcome Keith," then Keith left the room so he could go check on Cosmo.

While Keith is gone, Krolia sat down on the chair. Suddenly, her inner come has started to beep. Krolia activated it, suddenly, the screen shows Kolivan have appeared. "Krolia," he nearly held his growl.

"Yes sir?" Krolia stayed calm,

"I hope that Keith is handling that Cosmic Wolf of his," Kolivan crossed his arms. "The members and I have heard its howl all over the base,"

"Keith just went to check on him as we speak," Krolia replied. "It's probably just nothing, it possibly that Cosmo is simply lonely again. So, Keith is going to entertain him for a little while."

"He better be," Kolivan spoke. "Before I make the decision to put his Cosmic Wolf into a dog house instead of the base. Do I make myself clear?"

"Understood sir,"

"Good," suddenly the inner come has turned off.

Krolia sighed in relief. So glad that was over, she thought. But...I just hope that I was right about Cosmo, or Keith would be devastated. Krolia sighed as she continues with the scanning.

At the other room of the base, Keith has entered to where he has kept his Cosmic Wolf at. "Cosmo," Keith spoke. "I'm here buddy, what's the matter?" As he looks around, expecting for Cosmo to pounce on him. Within a tick, nothing happened. Keith raised a brow, "Cosmo? Where are you buddy?" Keith has started to look around in the room. As he turned to one corner of the room, he found Cosmo laying on the floor with unexpected condition to his body. "Oh no, Cosmo!" Keith ran to him,

Cosmo was able to bring out a whimper with his limbed body of his.

"Shh," Keith tries to calm him down. "It's okay buddy, I'm here. But...what happened? Did...did someone did this to you?"

Cosmo whined as his body shakes in pain,

"Don't worry," Keith spoke gently to Cosmo. "I'm here now, everything's going to be..." suddenly, Keith felt a stabbing pain onto his neck. He groaned in pain as he pulled some object out from his left side. He looked at it, suddenly, he recognized the design of the object. A blow dart? Keith wondered, But...but how did it...? Suddenly, Keith has gotten dizzy. No...this could mean... he shook his head. Shakenly stood up as he dropped the blow dart. I...I got to... he took a few steps away from Cosmo, ...to...to warn...Kol-... suddenly, Keith collapsed, and his entire body has gotten numb. ...can't move... he groaned in pain.

As Keith is laying on the floor, two dark figures have stepped out from the shadows. The first voice chuckled, "Told you that he'll come for the dog," the first voice hissed. Keith tried to blink a few times to see what is standing before him.

"Yes," the second voice that is very high pitch has replied. "I defiantly see what you mean, using that dog is perfect to draw out our target here."

"Indeed,"

Using Cosmo? Keith wondered, So...these goons...they attacked Cosmo. How dare...? "Uh..." Keith has finally managed to bring out the use of his voice weakly, "Who...who are you...?"

"What the...?" the second voice sounded like that it has jumped,

"What?" the first voice asked,

"The boy...he...he's still conscious."

"Relax," the first voice spoke firmly. "You don't have to worry about it,"

"What do you mean?"

"The drug that is within our dart will soon take it's effect," the first voice begun to explain. "He'll soon fall asleep eventually, then we will begin our next move."

"Oh, I see." Suddenly, Keith's eyelids have become heavy for him to keep them open. "Now, let's bind him." The first voice echoed, "Before anyone notices and before that dog can move again,"

"Right," the second voice replied within the faint echo. All at once, Keith's world has become black.
