For those of you who are confused of what I mention in some roleplays...:

Taka is a mechanic. She can fix things like Hunk and Pidge, and makes her own devices.

When she was on earth, she had trading sessions with Sendek. He took a few devices, and then left, sparing Taka's life. If  Sendek did not like how the trade went, he would kidnap Taka and torture her for a few weeks. Or, he would put up a fight on earth with Taka, and his few ships.
