So, I forgot to say what exactly happened to Taka's father and sister.

Here's the backstory. It's morbid btw sorrryyyy:

Taka, Kokona (sister), Zeanco (father), and Hannah (mother) were driving home from being out of town. Zeanco, Taka's father, was drunk driving. Hannah knew this, and was sitting in the back seat with Taka and Kokona. They were only eight years old at the time. They were talking and laughing and having s good time. Kokona was sitting in the seat behind Zeanco (the left seat, aka drivers seat), Taka was sitting in the middle seat where there isn't a seat in the front, and Hannah was sitting in the right seat, where there is a sweat at the front (but nobody is in it). Hannah's eyes widened as Zeanco was driving zigzagged, and a forest was coming up to the left of them. Hannah instinctively wrapped her arms around her daughters, who were jerking back and fourth in the car. The were confused and scared. Suddenly, BAM! Everything went black for Taka for a moment. She opened her eyes, and saw her fathers neck snapped and bloody, a stick sticking into his chest, and Kokona was crushed by his seat going backwards. Taka groans in pain as she felt sore everywhere, and was covered in blood. Her mother wasn't hurt as bad, so she was able to haul them both out of the car. That's when Shiro was driving by with his aunt on the way to a hotel (this was at night btw), and saw them. Shiro screamed "STOP!!" And when they did stop the car, he pointed to Taka's crushed car, and where she and her mother were climbing out. Shiro' aunt called 911, while people start to gather and stare at the horrid scene beside the rode. Shiro can out of the car, and started to cry. The ambulance and police came, taking Taka and her mother into the ambulance immediately. Their father and sister were carefully taken out, and put onto a separate stretcher. That's all Taka remembers until everything went black again.
