Just another day at the beach, the wind was cool and the smell of salt filled the air. Good old Mullet was going to take his surf board for a spin. After summer had started he found his old board collecting dust. So today was the day that he will ride his board again. Getting into the water he started to go. Sitting on his board waiting for a good wave to come in, seeing a good one he goes for it. Flying like a bird on the wave he comes back to shore. After a few more times at the waves there was a big one coming. Keith was ready, but this time he went a bit to far from the shore. When he got to the wave and started to surf. He wobbled the wave was going to fast, WHOOSH! he falls right off into the wave. tumbling and going around and around. Losing his surf board and losing oxygen by the second he was slowly sinking to the bottom of the ocean. All he could see was a blur, and darkness was slowly consuming him. 

Everything Went Black

"What is it!" A voice could be heard, "It doesn't even have a fin!" Another one said. "I think its cute" One more said. "Maybe this is what Shiro's been talking about! The...'human' " One of them said cautious. "I seen it riding a wave! then BAM! slowly coming to death" Now the voices seemed to get louder as Keith woke up slowly. Three fish looking characters were in front of him. One was a bigger looking fish, with yellow and orange strips on his tail, the smaller one had glasses, bright green colors on her tail. The last one was a tan looking boy, with dark and light blue with white streaks on his tail. "Am...Am i dead?" Keith finally spoke, "IT SPEAKS" The yellow one said in fear, hiding behind a rock. "You're not dead...i don't think" The green one took Keith's arm, examining it. "Where am i?" Keith asked and the blue one went up to his face. "In the castle silly" He grinned, he had little baby fangs. "W-what are you" Keith's eyes widen, "Mermaids duh" the green one lets go and looks over at yellow. "Come over here, he doesn't have fangs or claws" green told him. Yellow came out of hiding and swam over. Keith got a good look at them, "HOW AM I NOT DEAD? SHOULD I ALREADY DIED FROM NO OXYGEN" he said panicking. "well.." Blue rubbed the back of his neck. 

Flash Back

"Oh dear, you poor thing!" Blue raced over to Keith's dying body, he held him and got a piece of hair out of his face. "You're going to be alright" He softly pressed his lips against Keith's. Some mermaids have magical powers, Blue's is giving oxygen to the non ocean breathers, and making them adapt underwater. This was his first time using them so he was pretty excited to. Blue checked for breathing and Keith was slowly breathing, still unconscious. 

End Of Flash Back

"My lungs..." Keith held onto his neck, they were slowly going back to normal air breathing lungs. Blue lowered Keith's hand "hold on i'm still working on my magic" He kissed Keith, Keith's eyes widen but he felt a lot better. "There...i-is that better?" Blue asked, "What did you do...i-i can breath" Keith said amazed. "I'm trying, i'm still learning...you're my first...that i helped" Blue smiled nervously. "well...thank you" Keith looked at Blue. "what are your names?" He asked, "I'm Pidge" Green said, "Hunk..." Yellow said nervously, "Lance" Blue now smiled happily. His eyes sparkled "I must show you around human!" Lance picked up Keith and swam off. "Be careful Lance!!" Hunk shouted. 

"My names Keith..not human" He said and blushed, Lance set him down on a platform. "Oh sorry human- Keith" Lance corrected himself and smiled, he swam around Keith and then wrapped his tail around him. "Its okay..Lance" Keith kept his name on the brain, "You have a beautiful tail..." he added. "Awe! Thank you Keith!" Lance smiled wide, "I got to show you the Coral Gardens!" Lance swooped Keith off his feet and swam off like a bullet. When they arrived Lance let Keith float to the ground, Coral Gardens. A beautiful place with glowing Coral. Many different colors and shapes, "Lance, who's your friend" A muscular man came along. Holding a Trident, "Lance who is your friend?" He tilted his head little, "Its from what you been talking about Shiro! A human!" Lance said, Keith stood still and waved a bit. Shiro narrowed his eyes "He better not be an intruder" He growled a bit. "Nope! He's alright" Lance wrapped his tail around Keith a bit protective. "Did someone say human?" (I wanna add my bean sorry) A cat like fish came out of the Coral, "Its nothing Haley, go on and play" Shiro said but Haley swam up to Keith. "He's so soft" she cupped his face. "And no gills" She said surprised. "Hi" Keith muffled a little, Lance swam over to Shiro. He explained why Keith was here, "Well, if you saved his life then i guess he can stay for a little bit..." he sighed gently. "Haley stop messing with the Human" Shiro said, Haley was lifting Keith's arms, squishing his face. "Sorry Shirwo" She swam over and hugged him. "Now you two stay out of trouble, i don't want to two in jail today" Shiro said and held onto his trident a bit tighter. "I'll keep a close eye on the human don't worry" Lance smiled and looked over at Keith. Slowly growing blue, "Oxygen! Right!" Lance swam on over and kissed Keith gently. When he released and Keith heavily breaths. "I see you're practicing on the human"  Haley said, "Yup! Its getting better! I think" He said proud. "Now run along you two" Shiro said and Lance picked up Keith again and zoom. They where off. To the surface they went, When the two came to the top Keith was sitting on a rock, getting the wet pieces of hair our of his face. The sun was slowly setting, He looked around for Lance but he wasn't in site. "hey..." Lance came up, his head was sticking out of the water. "I know...its broken but we tried to fix it" Keith's Surf board came a float and it was fixed, good as new. "Let me guess, did you use your magical kisses to cure it" he teased a bit. "No, Pidge fixed it" Lance giggled a bit and leaned onto his surf board. "hey...would...i be allowed to visit?" Keith asked all of a sudden, Lances eyes sparkled. "Of course! We can do so much!" He said excited. "Then that's a plan, i'll visit when i can..." Keith smiled at lance. Lance propped himself up onto the rock, leaning on Keith's shoulder. "I'm glad that you came.." he said smiling like a goof. Keith looked down at him and then lifted up his chin, kissing lance softly.
