Lance pov
I groan getting up blue just crashed "l...nce?.... Lance?" I heard my name being called from the comms "Hey I'm here"I answered I heard Keith's voice "How are Asher and Shiro?"I can hear the panic in his voice "Huh?" I asked confused hunk chimed in"Shiro and Asher were with you remember?"I shot up panic rising in me I heard someone moving behind me and felt a hand on my shoulder "I'm right here guys" It was Shiro he had a couple of bruises but seemed fine but I couldn't be sure I could hear Keith relax "ok that's good now what about our resident medic?" I looked around only to see wires hanging and boxes messed up "I can't see him" I mumbled Shiro hobbled to the back calling out to Asher "Baby blue is Asher in here??"I asked my lion hoping she was not knocked out she responded 'I can't sense him my cub' I felt worried bubbling up Shiro let out a low growl saying "Blue I don't think you are gonna fly soon Some of these wires are broken and with no sigh or sign of asher we can't fix you or patch ourselves up he has the toolkit and medkit"I get up flinching I definitely twisted my ankle" maybe he's knocked out?"I asked shiro nodded we moved everything around I froze seeing blood "S-shiro" My blood went cold because that can't be mine or Shiro's blood we aren't bleeding "What?" he walked over and paled seeing the blood we jumped hearing the hatch open and looked at it we see a reddish brown hair "a-asher?"I asked "Yeah?" He pulled himself up he had a small cut on his cheek Shiro put his hand on my shoulder worried asher hummed pulling up a bag "Are you ok ?"I asked he nodded standing up his armer was broken and bloody shiro looked like he wanted to throw up "why do you have blood on you?"he asked asher looked down "oh I got shot don't worry" he pushed me and shiro down"now love bird stay still"I blushed me and shiro have been dating for a little while "I'll send pidge where we are"he moved around humming shiro leaned on me sigh"at least he isn't dead"he mumbled asher walked over and started patching us up me and shiro both twisted our ankles and I had a broken arm apparently the adrenaline made it so I couldn't feel the pain "ok I'm gonna give you pain meds"asher sighed putting my arm in a sling shiro is at least better off then me only having bruises and the twisted ankle asher sat down his body relaxed "you guys have been out for 2 hours I just fixed the comms before I left"I looked shocked"really we've been out for two hours"he nodded he took off the top of his armer his under armer had a huge tear in it and under it had patch that was soaked in blood shiro shivered asher closed his eyes"I'll fix up blue after I rest"
Shiro pov
I panicked a little when Asher started falling asleep"Wait don't you might have a concussion!" he looked at me and handed me an iPad-like thing" This will beep if any of us become unstable ok?"I nodded it had all of our vitals on it I went to ask Asher why he had this but he was already out cold I checked the pad his heart rate was a tad slow but nothing bad I guess Lance walked over and kissed my cheek" he's gonna be ok asher will tell us if he was dying" I sat down there was nothing we can do I felt useless lance talked to me after three hours the pad beeped and I panicked so did lance asher sat up gasping for air "NO!" He was panting his eyes darting around I knew what a nightmare looked like and the pad gave away it was pretty bad "Asher buddy it's ok" Lance went to calm him down asher looked at me like he saw a ghost his hand lightly touched lances hand and whimpered a 'thank gods' I walked over"wanna talk about it?"I asked he got up flinching"I'm fine you two sit "We sat down watching Asher grabbing the toolkit and fixing Blue up as best he could Pidgedge said that they were an hour away" Lance told us asher hummed I kept my eye on the pad I had a feeling asher wasn't telling the truth about how hurt he is after we got back to the castle coran made asher get into a healing pod, "its that bad?" lance asked the orange hair man nodded "quite bad actually he lost lots of his blood and is full of wounds I'm surprised he was able to move or stay awake as long as he did"I threw up finally I've been holding it in for a while since seeing the blood in blue I'm used to blood but it's from asher the one member of our team who shouldn't get hurt or be in the battle field lance rubbed my back his arm fixed "hey he's gonna be ok" he walked me to a room and sat me down "look asher will be ok so will you ok?" I nodded he laid me down so my head was in his lap he started playing with my hair relaxing me I sighed his hands moved from my hair to my shoulders rubbing them gently"Relax ok?"I smiled closing my eyes "ok ok tell me when our medic is out" I mumbled he hummed holding me close" Got it"My eyes slowly shut falling asleep I woke up five hours later to Asher pulling a blanket over me and Lance softly saying"we can talk later ok rest Shiro "I nodded cuddling lance smiling I really wanna talk to asher but I know all of us need to rest for now
