''Oh no! Allura is dead! Aw, it's horrible! Her head fell off!''I tried so hard not to laugh and cry over the dramatics coran was causing, soon Pidge, hunk,Keith and Shiro arrived but still no Lance " urrr...are you okay?" Pidge asked, while snickering at my form, as she noticed my tears, I nodded trying to still hold in my laughter ''Wait! What? Her severed head is trying to speak to me! What is it allura's head what are your final words?'' Coran asked dramatically ''Coran?'' She asked

''Oh,yes? Princess, I'm listening''he answered

''It's over'' she deadpanned ''Oh, I know! If only Voltron had been formed!'' Then he noticed us'' oh, time!'' He yelled throwing the mic behind him ''I guess this isn't an actual attack'' Shiro said

'' and it's a good thing it wasn't because it took you.... coran?'' Allura asked

''75 degrees" he said examine what he thought was a timer " oh,sorry, no, this is a meat thermometer''he smiled awkwardly 

''However long it was it was too long, you must always be ready to do battle with zarkons, look at you! Only Shiro is in uniform, and crista is the only one with her bayard, Keith,Pidge, hunk where are your bayard, and where is Lance'' she asked,  just the on Que Lance entered the room with his pjs on,lion slippers and a cup in his hand ' where the heck he get those?' I wondered

''Good morning everybody, what's going on? He asked walking in ''Coran and I have been up for hours getting the castle back in order, we had to run a test on the alarms and we decided to test you, as well, guess which one failed'' allura said arms crossed behind her back

''Hey" hunk yawned "  you got to sleep for 10,00 years man , Monday night, I was on earth, now I've flown through space, fought some evil alien named zarkon, eaten too in some weird castle, that's a lot to process in,uh.. I-I don't know, what day is it today?''hunk asked scratching his cheek 

''It's the third Quintana of the spicolian movement, hump day'' coran answered

''So...it's Tuesday?'' I asked confused, tilting my head ''It's a lot to process'' hunk repeated

''You must understand the stakes of our mission, over the last 10,000 years, the castle picked up distress beacons from the following locations, so we have to assume that zarkons has conquered almost the entire known universe'' she said showing locations that had gone red '' earth is here, an attack on your planet is inevitable'' my eyes widened ''Oh,no'' hunk said

''Exactly, our mission is to free all those planets, coran and I are getting the castle ready to leave arus, during that time, you have to learn to form Voltron, so we can begin fighting zarkon'' allura explained ''The princess is right, let's get to our lions and start training'' Shiro said

''Wait, but I want to talk to the prisoners we rescued from the galra ship'' Pidge spoke up ''Uh, Negative number six" clean measured pidges height with his arms " I have you ranked by height okay?" ' What number am I?' I thought ''The prisoners have to remain in the cryo-replenishers until tomorrow'' coran says standing straight ''That's right, now get to you lions'' allura ordered, I put scruff down and walked into the elevator, that brought me to  a zip line, once at the bottom, I fell through a small hole and landed in a purple speeder. Which brought me to another elevator and to my lion, I sat in the cockpit ready to take off when I felt something on my shoulder, I turned and saw scruff " you sneaky little!- oh well no point now..." I sighed in defeat and flew out the hanger, everyone was outside except for hunk

''Should someone go in after him?'' Lance asked, just then the yellow lion arrived ''Hi guys, sorry everybody, seriously though, can't they park these things, like, a little closer to the bridge'' hunk asked ''Alright, guys, lets just fly in tight formation until we're totally in sync'' Shiro advised

Suddenly allura's face appears on a holoscreen ''Feel the bond with your lions and your fellow pilots, until six become one and you form Voltron'' she advised, then disappeared ''Yeah!''' We all yelled and started flying

''Yeah!''

''Yay...'' Everyone one of us said sarcastically  ''Whoo, am I the only one who's still pretending to be excited?'' Hunk asked 

''Clearly this isn't working, let's set down for a little bit'' Shiro said

''Maybe we should be building Voltron from the ground up''Keith suggested

''What do you mean?'' I asked

''I mean, lets try literally building Voltron, like, stacking on top of each other" Keith said

''Like a cheerleader pyramid?'' Lance teased

'' you got a better idea'' Keith shot back ''It's worth a try'' Shiro said

The green and blue lions were positioned at the bottom, the red and the purple on top of them, black stood on red and purple and yellow on top''

''Hunk, what are you doing?'' Shiro asked

''What do you mean?''he asked

''Your supposed to be the leg, over there'' Shiro explained

''What? No,no,no,no, I'm pretty sure that last when we did it last time, I was the head, right?'' Hunk asked

''You yelled I'm a leg!'' Lance pointed ''Yeah, I was yelling a lot of things'' hunk said ''Shiro's the head'' Keith argued ''All the time?'' Hunk asked

''Yes!,'' I groaned ''Lets just try it my way, for now'' Shiro sighed ''Okay, but next time I call head'' hunk said, Now the blue and yellow were on the ground, the red and green above them, the purple lion above green and red, and black landing on top.

''Okay, arms and legs.... and I'll form the head..., " shiro muttered to himself as his lion landed on top of my lion "feel the bonds with your lions, now, channel your energy into forming voltron, focus, focus....'' he said but nothing happened ''Is everyone bonding and focusing?'' He asked

''Why was this so much easier before?...'' Lance asked ''Let's take a break...'' Shiro sighed, just the allura appeared again on the screen  ''Sorry to interrupt, but I may be able to help, yesterday, you weren't able to form Voltron nail you were in the heat of battle'' allura pointed out

Pidge: ''Yeah''

Lance:''I'm listening''

Shiro'' you're right''

Keith:''yeah, I guess''

''er, yeah.....'' I didn't like were she was going with this ''Perfect, because I need to run a diagnostic test on all of the castle's defences, this should help,'' allura said pushing some buttons in the castle, Suddenly the particle barrier formed and lasers  began firing at us, everyone started panicking and making the lions run

''Allura, what are you doing?!'' Keith yelled

''Running a diagnostic test on the Castle defenses ,and inspiring you! I believe in you, Paladins! Let fear be your guide! Form Voltron!'' She said

''Forget this! I'm heading back to the Castle!'' Lance yelled running to the castle " lance wait!" But it was too late, he had already  bumped into the particle barrier, screaming as his lion fell down the hill ''Please stop! Please! Have mercy on us!'' Hunk begged crying ''You think Zarkon is going to have mercy on you? He's probably on his way right now to destroy us all!'' Allura said sternly ''Please can we try something else!'' I yelled but I couldn't hear allura but instead I heard the computer

''Auto lock engaged ''

Eventually the shooting stopped and the particle barrier lowered so we flew our lions in, everyone but Shiro sat on the couch, I sat by Keith upside down looking at the ceiling, then allura and coran came in

''Are we at full power on condenser number five yet?'' Allura asked

''No, still just 84 percent.'' Coran answered

''You did it! You formed voltron!'' She said

''No, the shooting stopped and the particle barrier shut down, so we just flew in'' Keith said

''What?'' Allura asked  annoyed ''Oh, right. Uh, sorry, Princess. I had to turn off the Castle defenses to test the fire suppressors.'' Coran said ''What are you guys doing in here? We're not taking a break.'' Shiro said walking in

''Shiro's right. You should be training.'' Allura said ''We've been training. When are we going back to Earth?'' Hunk asked ''I'm not going back until I find my family.'' Pidge said

''Guys, there won't be an Earth if we don't figure out how to fight Zarcon.'' Shiro stated

''How are we going to fight? We can't even figure out how to form Voltron.'' Lance added both of us being up

''Well, I'm not surprised. You know, the original paladins fought hundreds of battles together, side-by-side. They were like a pack of yalmors linked at the ears.

'' Wow, I'm sorry but that's definitely not us'' I said falling back on the couch

''During the last attack, your survival instincts forced you to work as a team, but that will only get you so far. You'll have to become a real team to have any chance of forming Voltron and then beating Zarkon next time. You should try working out on the training deck.'' Coran said

''There's a training deck?'' Hunk asked

Soon All six of us stood in the training room waiting for coran to begin our training, I then heard clean clearing his throat through the speakers '' Two, two, one, two. Okay, listen up, guys. The paladin code demands you put your team members' safety above your own. A swarm of drones is about to attack,, It's up to each of you to do everything you can to protect the other members of your team'' coran explained

'' Wait, wait, wait. What's going on? " he gasped as a shield appeared "Whoa. Did you guys get one of these?'' Hunk asked

''Get ready.'' Shiros said raising his shield

Then all of a sudden  drones appeared and started firing, hunk ducked from one of the lasors, causing it hit Pidge in the back,causing her to fall through the floor screaming ''Protect your teammates or no one will be there to protect you!'' Coran yelled as hunk got hit and fell through the floor Keith, Lance, shiros and I, backed up against eachother using our shields to defend eachother

''Time to increase intensity'' coran said as the drones spun around us shooting faster

''You keeping up over there, Keith?'' Lance asked

''Just concentrate on keeping me safe.'' He said

'' Me? I own this drill. You're the one who needs to concentrate.'' Lance scoffed

''Guys! Not now!'' I said the drones lowered to our feet Lance moved his foot which got Keith hit in the back and fell through the floor, Lance tried to defend me and shiros but he fell through the floor, it was just shiros and me, but soon he fell through the floor which left me on my own, so instead I used my athletics dodging the drones blasts, then I summoned my bayard and started slicing up the drones, in the end there was a pile of recked drones ''Sorry for destroying the drones Coran'' I apologise

''It's fine crista, but still impressive fighting'' he praised which I smiled proudly, I then noticed the scared look on his face " wait! Look out!" I then got shot in the back and fell through the floor screaming, just then I felt arms wrap around me, I looked up and saw shiro inches away from my face " you okay?" He asked worried, which I blushed " y-yeah, stupid drone attack out of know where" I explained as he put me down ' my face and his were so close!!!!!!' I mentally screamed

Lance POV, next test

I stood alone in the hall waiting for corals instructions ''To form Voltron, you must trust in each other. This ancient paladin maze will teach you that trust. Your teammate can see the walls, but you cannot. So, listen carefully. If you touch the walls, you'll get a slight shock.''coran said into the mic ''Wait. Who's guiding me through?'' I asked placing my helmet on

''Take two steps forward.'' I heard Keith's voice which I immediate growled

''Oh, no. Not Keith. Why does he get to be the man on the mic? Why not Crista?!'' I asked irritated ''Now, just sit tight. You'll get your turn and she's pidges partner .'' Coran said ' lucky pidge!' ''Like I said, take two steps forward, turn right, and take three steps that direction.'' Keith repeated, I did what he said but I hit the invisible wall gaining a shock, causing a lot of pain ''You did that on purpose!'' I yelled

'' You're not listening.'' Keith said

''You said, Turn right!." I reminded

'' But before that, I said, Take two steps forward." He Said, I started walking again

''Two steps -" I hit the wall again, getting another shocked "We're switching places right now!'' I yelled, after that we watch pidge tell crista where to go, which they completed, which made me frustrated ' I would have done great with crista!' I thought to myself

crista POV 

We were all now flying out lions in the air not to far away from the gala ship crash site ''You'll never be able to form Voltron unless each of you has a strong bond with his or her lion'' coran explained

''No problem. Me and Blue are best buds for life, for real.'' Lance said

''Perfect! Then you won't have any issues with this exercise. Everyone, put your lions into a nosedive!'' Coran Exclaimed happily, all the lions growled as we nosedived

'' This is an expert-level drill that you really shouldn't attempt until you've been flying for years, but uh, we're in a bit of a rush, so here we go. Activating training helmets!'' He yelled Suddenly everything went black, everyone started to panic, and I could hear Lance screaming from my com

''Coran, what's happening? I can't see!'' He yelled

''You must learn to see through your lions' eyes. The goal is to pull up right before you crash into the ground. Feel what the lion feels!'' He said ''Mine feels scared!'' Hunk yelled as he pulled up while everyone Else kept going

''You still going, Keith?'' Lance asked

''You know it. You?'' He asked

''Going? I'm speeding up!'' Lance yelled, which I guessed he increased his speed

'' Oh, yeah?'' Keith said as he also sped up 'Oh for goodness sake' i through " guys this is not the time for this!" I scolded, but they ignored me ''Must be getting close.'' Lance said ''Must be.'' Keith replied ''You getting scared?'' Lance taunted ''I'm not scared!'' Keith yelled, I then heard a loud crash which I'm guessing was both Keith and lance ''Ow.'' I heard Keith winch ''I win.'' Lance said groaning

''Lance, it's not a competition!'' I groan ''What was that noise? Did they crash!?'' Pidge said and pulled up but I think smacked into something ''Come on violet, we can do this'' i said, suddenly I could see what she could see, and I dodged all obstacles in my path

''I think I'm getting this.''I heard Shiro

''Me too!'' I said with a smile, we both made it in the clear ''Excellent, Shiro and Crista!'' Coran cheered ''Nice job crista!'' I heard shiros compliment ''thank! You too'' I smiled

Time skip

Soon, all six of us were sitting in the training room again in a circle, with these head sets coran gave us

''Now the most important part of paladin training is being able to meld your minds and focus on one thing: Voltron. Everything else has to fade away. This technique will be essential every time you form Voltron. So, relax and open your mind. No walls, no secrets between paladins. Come on, everyone, clear everything. Now, focus on forming your lion. Bring your lions together and - and form Voltron. Keep your minds open, work together.''

Everyone pictured something, Lance pictured his family, Keith pictured the shed where we stayed, shiro pictured the day before the Kerberos mission, hunk pictured food,(no surprise there XD) Pidge pictured me, her and Matt, and I pictured the photo of my older brother Marcus that my aunt Hana placed on the bookshelf back home, which reminded me of the pain I hoped never to feel again' no!.....not now!.....' I struggled to keep my mind on my lion'' Good! Keep focusing! Only two to go!'' Coran said

''Pidge, stop think about your girlfriend!'' Keith yelled

'' I wasn't! Hunk was rooting around in my head!'' She yelled

''I thought we were open. You can look in my head hole.'' He said confused

''Hey crista, who was that in your head hole?'' Lance asked

''N-No one'' I stuttered sadly looking away '' Everyone has to be able to look in everyone's head holes! Clear your minds!'' Coran yelled frustrated, everyone closed their eyes and formed their lions bringing them together ''Good! Almost there. Now, form Voltron. Yes!'' But both me and pidge lost focas, and the images changed back

'' Pidge! Crista!'' Lance yelled, pidge just pulled off her headset and threw it on the ground in aggression '' I'm done with this! Look, I don't like everyone grubbing around in my head!'' Pidge yelled I just threw my headset on the ground and ran out the room

'Crista!'' I heard Pidge yell but I just kept running, while my tears fell

Pidges  POV

And with that crista ran out of the training deck ''Woah, what's up with Crista?'' Lance asked surprised ''Is she okay? She looked really upset'' hunk asked concerned ''Well done, Lance'' Keith said irritated''Hey!'' He yelled, both of them started arguing

''Pidge, what's up with crista?'' Shiro asked concerned '' don't worry, il talk with her, just don't ask about it when we get back'' I tried hard not to reveal crista's secret ''Everyone take a break, il get something for you all to drink'' coran said, 

I ran out of the training deck and went to search for crista, I looked everywhere but I couldn't find her so I went to the control room to find scruff lying on the ground, she then was aware of my presence and walked over

''Hi scruff'' I said, kneeling down and ruffling her fur, causing her to purr ''can you help me find crista?'' I asked her which she nodded and started running, then I could hear crying from one of the storage rooms, I opened the door and saw crista crouched down on the floor, knees against her chest crying into them.

''Hey crista, I'm sorry what happened'' I said crouching down to her level, she stopped crying and wiped her tears ''It's not your fault Pidge, I just wished I didn't think about him, it just hurts to know he's gone'' I put my hand on her shoulder and scruff rubbed her head against her leg ''I know, heck I miss my dad and Matt so much, I just hope their alive''I said sadly looking at the ground which she noticed, she pulled me into a hug

''Hey, I promised I'd help you find them, and trust me I know their alive'' she said which i smiled' ''Thank you crista, hey I was surposed to cheer you up not the other way round'' I said which we both laughed ''Yeah, come on let's get back to the others'' she said

'' okay, quick question , are you going to tell them about, your . You.know.what'' I asked referring to her secret

''I don't know, maybe one day, what about yours?" She asked '' same here" I answered  as we went back to the others

Cristian POV

We got back and thank god no one asked me why I left, soon coran came in with drinks in poached for everyone, I sat next to Pidge

'' You have been working hard. Maybe it's time to relax a little.'' Passing shiro a drink pouch ''What are you doing lying around? You're supposed to be training!'' Allura yelled as she entered the room with scruff and the mice

''Just resting a bit. You know, you can't push too hard.'' Coran said

''What do you mean, "can't push too hard"? Get up, you lazy lumps! It's time you faced the Gladiator!'' She said, everyone got back up, standing on opposite sides of the straining deck while Conan spoke into the mic ''In order to defeat the Gladiator, five paladins must fight as one.'' He explained The robot appeared and hunk was the first to go down "Whoa!" He grunted in pain Next it was pidge, then Lance

Shiro was about to attack but suddenly stopped, Keith saw the gladiator about to hit shiro and blocked its attack " shiro, are you okay?'' Keith asked but the gladiator knocked both of them down and kicking  them to the wall leaving me to fight alone

''Be careful crista!'' pidges yelled ''Don't worry, I got this'' I yelled, The gladiator launched itself at me but leaped into the air flipping over its head, then quickly turning around and throwing one of my discs at it knocking its staff out of its hand before slicing the gladiator with the other disc causing it to deactivate

''Woah'' I heard hunk exclaim

''Awesome'' I also heard Lance

I looked to see everyone staring in awe, I just blushed and looked away feeling uncomfortable with the amount of eyes staring at me, just then allura walked in ''That combat simulator was set at a level fit for an Altean child! You're not even close to working as a team, let alone ready to face Zarkon! crista took it down with no problem!'' She yelled at the others, I didn't have the courage to tell her not to yell at them so I just stayed quick and looked down at the floor

Time skip

Everyone was sitting in the dinning room

''Ahoy, young Paladins! I've whipped up a big batch of focusing food. After this meal, you'll be forming Voltron six times a movement and twice on the astral conflux!'' Coran said ''Smells great, Coran. Thanks.'' Shiro said, about to pick up his spoon, Suddenly our wrists were connected to eachother, my left was connected to Keith's while my right was connected to pidge

''Hold the phone!'' Lance yelled ''I saw a lot of solid individual performances today, but you're still struggling to work as a team. So, welcome to the final bonding exercise of the day.'' Coran said, hunk tried to pull his hand away from lances, but the cuff pulled them both back together '' Coran, I want you to think about what you're doing.'' Hunk said sternly ''One thing you should know, never get in between hunk and his food'' I warned ''This one's a classic. You get to feed each other, like a pack of yalmors!''

Everyone groaned

I grabbed the spoon with my with my left and dripped it into Keith's food raising it to him ''Here Keith'' I said

''Err... thanks....'' he stuttered eating it, I swear I saw him blush

''Ow!'' I heard hunk getting hit with the spoon

'' Sorry Ew!' Lance yelled as hunk bite his hand " eww!" then pulling Keith's hand with ended up in his food ''Oh, nice. You defiled my food goo!'' He yelled ''It's your fault! This is ridiculous.'' Keith said, I saw the angry face allura had while she was trying to eat ''Do Earthlings ever stop complaining?'' she asked irritated ''Can't you just give us a break? Everyone's been working really hard today.'' Shiro stated, Keith stood up

'' Yeah! We're not some prisoners for you to toy with, like... like...'' Keith said

'' Like a bunch of toy prisoners!'' Lance finished

'' Yes! Thank you, Lance!'' Keith said

''You do not yell at the Princess!'' Coran yelled

''Oh, the princess of what?'' I asked irritated

''We're the only ones out here and she's no princess of ours!'' Pidges finished getting hit in the face with food goo, everyone looked towards allura who was the one threw it at her

''Go loose, Pidge!'' I yelled picking up the plate with pidges help and throwing it at allura

Coran moved infront of the princess protecting her and threw food goo at the rest of us

'' Oh, it's on now.'' Hunk said dipping his head down to his food then spitting it out with the surport of shiro and lances hands

We all laughed throwing food at allura and coran

''Keith, here on 3, 1..2..3!'' We both threw food goo at coran, hitting him in the face and falling backwards we both laughed

Eventually allura sat down in the chair infront of us exhausted, we all looked at each other and laughed

''Enough! Do you see what you're doing? You're finally working together as one!'' She exclaimed smiling lifting her head

''Hey, she's right!'' Keith pointed out

''I actually don't hate you right now.'' Lance said

''I'm so glad'' I sighed happily '' You guys thinking what I'm thinking?'' Hunk asked ''Let's go form Voltron!'' Shiro said

''Yeah!'' We yelled

'' Actually, I was thinking dessert. But, yeah! Let's do it!'' Hunk said

We all lost our balance and fell, which I blushed madly, due to the fact that Keith's back was against mine, Pidge noticed and smirked, I just gave her the' don't. Even. Think.about.it.look, Everyone made it to their lions then I could hear shiro through the coms

Shiro: ''Everyone ready to do this?'' He asked

Pidge: ''Roger that!''

Lance: ''It's on!''

'' right behind you!'' I smirked

Keith: yes sir!"

Hunk: ''I was born ready!''

Shiro: ''Then let's go!" "Yeah!" We all yelled, When we got outside the castle our lions formed into Voltron, after that we all got dressed into our normal clothes and sat in the living room

''Man, that was cool! I'm so charged up, I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep tonight.'' Lance exclaimed '' Not me. When my head hits the pillow, I'm going to be lights out.'' Keith said surprisingly smiling

''I just want you to know that I realized when we were in Voltron, we're brothers, man, and sister, I didn't forget you crista,  You know? Like, we're totally connected. No secrets, no barriers, no nothing. Brothers and sister all the way. I love you guys.'' Hunk said

'' G-forces mess with your head a little bit?'' Keith asked playfully

''Yeah, maybe a little. I don't know. It's been a tough few days.'' Hunk answered

''Hey crista you know, if you get cold tonight, you can sleep next me right'' he said leaning in with a smirk, I just scoffed at that

''Yea, only in your dreams'' I said with a smirk pushing him away making him pout, everyone laughed everyone started leaving but me and pidge

''Ohh, burn'' Pidge said

''Going to bed, you two?'' Shiro asked

''In a minute.'' Pidge answered

''Yeah, same here'' I also answered

''Good work today. We're really coming together.'' He said leaving the room, I noticed Pidge pull out the photo of her, me and Matt before the Kerberos mission, I just walked up to her and put a hand on her shoulder

'' don't worry Pidge, I promised you that I will never give up helping you, until we find Matt and your father'' I reassured her

''Thanks crista'' she said hugging me which I hugged back, we both walked to our rooms

''Night'' I said

'' good night'' she said, I got in my pjs, got under the covers, scruff snuggling next to me.

'This has been an interesting day' i through as I closed my eyes.
