In the far reaches of the universe, there was an unnamed planet. On that planet was a monument, this was Lantern Corps Headquarters. The Lantern Corps is an organization dedicated to protecting the universe, with the court made up of ancient beings known as the Spectrites. The Spectrites were some of the first beings that came into existence in the universe and self-appointment guardians.

Each guardian has their own color and emotional power they draw from the emotional spectrum. The Spectrites watch over the universe, and each choose those they find worthy to bestow their powers to through colored rings that coincide with their individual power to protect the universe from evil threats.

The guardians and their respective corps;

Willows - Green, Willpower

Oath: In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, beware my power, Green Lantern's Light!

Year - Yellow, Fear

Oath: In blackest day, in brightest night, beware your fears made into light. Let those who try stop what's right, burn like my power, Yellow Lantern's Might!

Ceruleas - Blue, Hope

Oath: In fearful day, in raging night, with strong hearts full, our souls ignite. When all seems lost in the War of Light, look to the stars, for Hope Shines Bright!

Crimsous - Red, Rage

Oath: With blood and rage of crimson red, taken from a corpse so freshly dead, and together with our hellish hate, we'll burn you all, That is Your Fate!

Abrarice - Orange, Avarice

Oath: This power is mine, this is my light. Be it in bright of day, or black of night. I lay claim to all that fall within my sight. To take what I want, That is My Right!

Inarious - Indigo, Compassion

Oath: In sorrowful day, in misfortunate night, we help those, who need our might. With the powers of indigo light, we'll rid your misery with compassionate might.

Starphire - Violet, Love

For hearts long lost and full of fright, for those alone in blackest night, accept our ring and join our fight. Love conquers all with Violet Light!

Reapier - Black, Death

Oath: The blackest night fell from our skies, the darkness grew as all light died. We cheated death and our demise, and with this power, We Shall Rise!

Prism - White, Life

Oath: In blackest day, in blackest night, let my ring shine the brightest light. When evil comes I shall join the fight, the power of Life is the Strongest Might!
