Alone With Eachother

"Paladins." Coran began "This may be the most dangerous and difficult mission yet."

As Coran explained the mission Lance glanced at Pidge every so often. She was the smallest on the team, of course, saving earth had been simple, but this... This was something worse. The Galra had developed a weapon built to destroy the MilkyWay Galaxy. Of course all of the Paladins had been injured in the battle against Sendak's fleet, but Pidge still hadn't healed. While everyone else had healed rather quickly, Pidge still had a fractured wrist from being thrown around in her lion. "I don't think it's a good idea for Pidge to go...." Lance mumbled when Coran said Pidge would go in close with her lion and hack the machine

"Lance." Pidge started as she sent him a small glare "I can take care of myself."

"I'm just saying, you're still injured." Lance explained "And I'm sure none of us want you to get hurt worse."

"Lance is right. Pidge is already hurt." Keith agreed

"Thank you Keith." Lance smiled

"So she won't go alone."

"Wait what?"

"Lance, Pidge will go with you. She can take her laptop and hack the weapon with that."

"That's not what I meant."

"I don't need Lance to babysit me." Pidge complained "I'm not a kid, besides if anyone needs babysat, it's Lance."

"I have an idea, why don't Pidge and Lance just both stay here while the rest of us go stop the weapon." Allura suggested "Coran and Shiro could go instead, and Hunk could hack the weapon, or at least try to."

"Good idea Allura." Keith agreed "Lance, you and Pidge will stay here."

"You want me to stay here. Alone. With this idiot?" Pidge questioned

"Hey!" Lance exclaimed

"Yes Pidge. You're staying here with this idiot." Keith replied as he walked off towards his lion

Everyone but Pidge and Lance walked off, leaving the two alone in together. "Well I'm going to my room to do some homework..." Pidge said as she walked towards the Lion hanger

"Pidge." Lance began

"Yeah?"

"One, your room is that way," Lance pointed in the opposite direction of the way Pidge was going "And two, you don't have any homework, it's summer break."

"Quiznak."

"Watch your language you nerd." Lance said as he walked over to her and side hugged her

"I'm not a nerd." Pidge replied as she tried to push him off

"Yeah, you are." Lance smirked goofily as he picked Pidge up bridal style

"Hey! Put me down!" Pidge squirmed around in Lance's grip "Lance! Lance I swear if you don't put me down right now I will NOT hesitate to hit you with my Bayard!!!!"

"You're kinda cute when you're frustrated."

"Lance!" Pidge turned red

"You know I'm not wrong."

"I don't care! Put me down!"

"Nah, I think I'll keep holding you." Lance replied as he carried Pidge over to a chair, sat her down on the chair, and sat next to her

"L-Lance. I swear-"

"How's your day been?" Lance began before smirking "My Darling."

Pidge turned red "Heaven help me."

"How's your day been?"

"My day was just fine until you picked me up and carried me around."

"Aw come on, it wasn't that bad was it?" Lance said as he leaned towards Pidge

"Lance. Please, stop." Pidge said as she stood up

"You're the one who said that I'm an Idiot!"

"And I won't take it back!"

"Yeah you will."

"And why's that?"

"Because I know how to make you take it back."

"And that is?"

"I'll hide all the peanut butter."

"NO! You wouldn't dare!"

Lance smirked and pulled a Reese's cup out of his pocket. "You want the Reese's?"

"Lance. I swear if you do something stupid-" Pidge began, when Lance put the Reese's in his mouth "And you did something stupid."

"Aren't you gonna try to get it?"

"You're not tricking me into kissing you."

"You know you want to."

"Lance."

"What?"

"No."

Lance laughed and handed Pidge a Reese's "Here." Lance smirked. Pidge's eyes widened, she quickly took the candy and ate it. "You've got some chocolate on your face."

"Where?"

"Right here." Lance smirked, just before kissing Pidge. Pidge turned red.

"L-Lance I-"

Lance smirked "Speechless?"

"Y-You idiot." Pidge sighed as she tried to cover her blushing face

"Don't hide your face." Lance smirked again as he moved Pidge's hands away from her face "I want to see it." Lance smiled genuinely at Pidge "I love seeing your face."
