"Let's name her..." Yuta stares at the cute Siberian cat who is swaying its long fluffy tail and resting comfortably in his lap. He found this adorable kitty sleeping amongst the bushes of his and his brothers' large shrine.

"...Snowy? Winter? Ash? Dasher?" Yuta brainstorms as he jingles with the yellow bell the kitten wore around her neck as a collar.

"You do realize this is a lady?" Saeki says while shaking his head at Yuta's obliviousness, "stroke under her chin, maybe she's a half neko."

Yamato, Takao and Ren all gather around Yuta, who did as Saeki told him to.

The kitty purred softly in a ticklish manner as it meowed cutely while its soft paw patted on Yuta's hand.

"It's Chyna!" In a split second, a girl wearing a pink leather jacket over a pink half shirt and a short skirt with silver chains hanging from the waist band was sitting on Yuta's lap instead. She wore a pair of knee-high boots with a short heel and a familiar pink collar with a huge side bell.

Chyna strangles Yuta repeating her name, "say it, please, it's Chy-na."

Her cat ears bounced and her fluffy tail still swayed as she blinked her big eyes and looked at Yuta with anticipation.

"Um... Hi, Chyna-chan." Getting over his shock, Yuta breaks into a bright smile.

Yuta watches Chyna bounce around the kitchen preparing breakfast with a smile. He found her soft cat ears that moves according to her emotions adorable.

She's used to doing housework yet her hands were so delicate and smooth, is this why cat girls in this world are usually maids?

There were only two solid common sense in this world they're living in: cat girls are used to house work; it is forbidden for a human to love one.

Sometimes he wonders, will they be able to be together if he turned into a cat as well?

Just as Chyna set up the table and turned off the stove, her ears suddenly perked up. Yuta knew this gesture all too well, they have a visitor.

"Akito!" Turning into her cat form, she ran to the side window in the living room past Yuta, where a black and orange Japanese Bobtail with a blue eye and the other one yellow sat by the window frame, smoothening out its fur.

"You just turn into a pet every day." As it lands onto the living room sofa, he turns into his human form. His black button up shirt as always has the first few undone, showing his chest; he wore dark blue jeans and normal black shoes. The spiked choker around his neck also had the same bell on it.

"Meow...I'm not a pet. Everybody here treats me like a human being!" Chyna sits her human form on right beside Yuta and hugs him, "right~?"

Before he could respond, the front door opens.

"Oh great, the stray is here again." Yamato grumbled as he sees Akito making himself at home on the couch.

"Hey, at least I'm not a dog, or you'll get the crap scared outta you." His way of speaking didn't change at all since a kitten, as Chyna recall.

"Stop being mean...."

"I'm going to be outside." In his agile cat form, Akito flipped back out the window.

Also in her cat form, Chyna followed to give him a piece of her mind.

Yuta watched hazily as Chyna jumped out the window after Akito.

"Yuta? Are you alright?" Takao puts down his suit case on the table before sitting down beside him.

"What's the matter?" Ren asks quietly as he sat diagonally from them, a book about rare plants in his hands.

"I...I think I'm in love...with Chyna...."

As soon as he said this, Yamato was the first to react: "What?!"

"...Are you serious..?" Even Ren was shocked.

"But...but that's impossible to come true." Takao says sadly, "I'm sorry, Yuta, but you can't love a cat girl in this world."

"Definitely not, man." Yamato adds in as well.

"Hey, hey. Why not?" Saeki ruffled Yuta's hair from behind, then he waved in the air while looking up, "A forbidden love story between a human and a half neko. They love each other, but their society bans their feelings. They have tried, but they cannot give up their undying love for each other as--"

"That's enough." Yamato shoved a physics book in Saeki's face, "in reality, none of that is ever going to happen. I hope, for your own sake, that you move on."

"Yeah I mean, Chyna's an adorable cat. I understand if you love her that way." Takao says.

You guys think I've never thought about all that? Yuta mutters in his head while he looks down on the ground, depressed.

Outside in the side yard, both half neko are lying beside each other on the grass.

"This is one hell of a big house." Akito comments, "though I never want to always stay here."

"Why don't you want a home? Don't you want to settle down?"

"Nope. I'm free like this." He honestly sounded sincere as he says that. Just then, his voice descended to a more serious tone, "Hey, Chyna?"

"Yeah?" she turns her head to him.

"...I like you."

"Hm? Yeah, me too." She reply in a happy-go-lucky tone.

Akito sighed, it's no use, she'll never understand.

"A lot of the times I wonder what Yuta is doing, sometimes he stares at me for no reason, then I pretend not to notice. And when we meet eyes, he kinda blushes, like that. Isn't he adorable?" Chyna giggles upon remembering Yuta's face.

Akito watched Chyna's expression with wide eyes. No way... the forever innocent Chyna-chan actually likes someone that way?

"He makes my heart beat faster, it's cool. Hmm, I look forward to him coming home each day the most."

Akito smiled sadly at her, but at the same time, happy for her that she found someone she wants to stay with.

~Next Day~

"Chyna?" Yuta finds the girl sitting in the laundry room with an expression of deed thought on her face.

She stares at the washing machine. By the looks of it, she's been like that for a while.

"I got it!" She says suddenly and pressed a button on the machine. The door opened with a 'click'. "Now...am I supposed to put the clothes in there?"

She tilt her head sideways cutely, her soft hair gently falling in the same direction.

Yuta watches, with his eyes full of love as Chyna tries her best to put the clothes in the washing machine. She then closed the door and then sat in front of it again.

"This thing has like fifty buttons...." She traces her finger tip over the control panel to search for the 'start' button.

An arm reached out from behind her and pressed onto start for her. Startled, she spun around only to see Yuta in front of her with a bright grin.

"T-Thank you...." She says, she doesn't understand why she wants to leave the best impression on him.

He had a determined expression on his face for a second before it faltered and he laughed nervously, "Haha, it's alright. Let's go back out."

Saeki slapped his forehead and shook his head. "He needs a little push." With that, he closed the laundry room door and locked it from the outside.

The door obviously doesn't open when Chyna jiggled the knob. "Eh...is the door broken..?"

The thought of being alone with Yuta made her heart beat increase. She has no idea what these unfamiliar feelings are. All she knows is that massive heat is rushing to her face.

At the sight of her flustered appearance, it was impossible for him to hold back.

"Ch-Chyan..." he started nervously, the neko gave him her undivided attention, "I-I really like you... I want to be your boyfriend...!"

"Boy...friend?" she repeated slowly, "but everybody's already my guy friend."

He decided it wasn't possible to show her how he felt through words.

Yuta places a finger underneath Chyna's chin and tilted it up gently, "Don't do this with anybody else, alright?"

As he finishes, he closes his eyes and rest his lips tenderly on hers.
