EITM scenario ~[Halloween]~

It came the time of the year of Pumpkin day!!!

"I really just wanna laugh at the human's attempt to try to be scary." Chikage says with a stoic face as he stares at the spider webs and creepy pumpkins along the way.

You had dragged all the Ayakashi out for Halloween since there was a festival going on.

It is the one day that they can show their true forms without looking suspicious at all. To go with their looks, you naturally dressed as an Ayakashi royal princess.

"Cool Kitsune costume!" a passerby smiled at Miyabi, who was irking.

"How dare he say 'costume'...." His fox ears flinched in anger. You quickly patted it down. Fake ears don't move on their own.

"Just shut up." You mutter before stopping in front of a candy apple stand.

You happily bought an apple that's covered in milk chocolate. You struggled to eat since it was kinda big.

"Need I to slice that for you?" Kyoga held up his hand until you quickly pushed it down.

"For your information, humans don't have claws coming out of between their knuckles." You whisper to him, then thought to yourself: as much as one would wish for 'em.

"You were thinking that people would wish for supernatural powers just now, didn't you." Shinra said nonchalantly beside you. Which you blushed a little at.

"How'd you know?!"

"Psh, you've been thinking about those stuff ever since you were a kid!"

"What's that?" Yukinojo's voice suddenly sounded from behind the group. You turn your gaze to see someone passing by, dressed as a ghost. It was just a white sheet with two holes in it, to be frank.

"I think it's a ghost." You said.

"Wow~ look! It's the snow prince!" chatters of little kids were starting to sound as apparently they mistaken Yuki's ayakashi form as a character of some sort.

"Make snow magic for us!" a little boy tugged at his long sleeve.

Yukinojo looked at you. You mouthed 'little bit'.

He held up one of his very pale hands, snowflakes start to fall and onto the ground, soon forming a small hill of snow.

[idk how his power works I've never read his story lolol]

"Hey look...aren't those guys over there handsome?"

You sighed in exasperation. Not this again. They were being quiet, but you still hear them every single frickin time you go out with one of the ayakashis.

"Yeah..! But hey is that girl with them one of their girlfriends?"

"Doesn't look like it.... She's probably just someone's little sister."

It kinda hurt that you looked like a child to them. Even though, yeah, you weren't any of their girlfriends. But still.

"It's a rather hot day for the end of October...." Kyoga sighs.

You turn around again to see Chikage lightly fanning his wings, that's causing on lookers to get curious on how such breeze came from supposedly fake wings.

You slapped your forehead. None of these guys give you a break for a single second, do they?

"Block the sun." Shinra looked up, clouds suddenly loomed over the sky.

"But then it's getting dark." Miyabi held out his hand, the blue kitsunebi bursting on his hand.

It was a bad idea to get them out here after all....

"Eh?! Is this some sort of show?"

"It's amazing! How did the sky cloud over so fast!"

"Ghost fire!" people started shouting

"Did they just dare call my kitsunebi ghost fi--" You jabbed Miyabi on the side before he could finish.

"Make several more of those fox fire of yours and make them float around." You whisper.

"Fine...but you're paying me back." The twisted smile on his face send a cold sweat down your spine but you ignored it.

To try to make it seem like a real show, you struggle to make the ayakashi work together so it looked like some sort of man-made sci-fi.

"Chikage, very, very lightly bat your wings. Shinra make slight lightning not too much."

Very soon, under your lead, the entire festival looked like a well-planned show as the dark sky emphasized Miyabi's fox fire and Kyoga's add-on. The strong breeze in the air only made the atmosphere more mysterious. Yukinojo lowered the temperature for better affect.

"We should get paid for these stuff." You mumbled under your breath as all of you got home and called it a day.

"It is very insulting to use my powers for human entertainment." Chikage states as he tucks away his wings, his human form coming back.

"It's all about teamwork~!" You throw your arms up, "but yeah, I'm tired too."

"Did you think it was interesting for me to be wasting my powers for that?" Miyabi says back after returning to his human form as well.

Very soon an argument broke out in between the ayakashi in the background of you walking into your room.
