Akiyoshi x Reader

An OTBS one-shot

I just recently thought that Akiyoshi and Soryu really look alike, no? XD

You and Akiyoshi were walking hand-in-hand in a garden spot famous for its different kinds of birds on your day off.

"That parrot has like, five colors on it!" you pointed up to a parrot resting on top of a fence.

The place is basically a gigantic cage where the entrance is block by two layers of chains to that people can get through but birds cannot.

Your eyes follow a toucan fly across the area, then your sight landed on a peacock.

"Why's its tail down? I wanna see it!" you said, you kept staring at the peacock but it won't open its legendary eye-spotted tail.

"[First name], peacocks only do that when they want to attract peahens, during their mating season." Akiyoshi explains.

"Oh...right...." Instantly, you felt stupid.

"Look." You turn to the direction he was pointing at and saw bright pink flamingos.

"Whoa...!" you were captured by the pretty color the large birds have that you didn't care you looked like a child. Akiyoshi smiled at you.

Just then, alarm flashed on his features, just as you were about to ask if something was the matter, he spoke first: "I'll be right back with some...pizza, [first name]."

That's all he says before walking off.

You didn't even have time to be confused when footsteps approached you.

"[First name]? You're here too?" a familiar voice asks. You tilt your head up to see Minato, in casual wear, he still looked amazing as ever.

"Oh...I got curious after reading about this place in a magazine that featured it." You said naturally. It wasn't entirely a lie, except that Akiyoshi found it and told you about it.

But you can't say that. Your relationship was still a secret to the public.

"Huh...I heard about it from the bar and came to check it out."

[I couldn't find the name no matter what so screw that]

"Uh...so are you alone?" he asks. That caught you slightly off guard. He obviously was.

You knew Minato has a liking towards you. You could tell by the little things he does in the office and he even teased you ten times more by the month.

You weren't alone, but you couldn't say you were with Akiyoshi, he'd wonder why you were out with him on a casual date.

"I'm actually here with a friend, she went to get some food. I'm waiting for her." You said surprisingly well.

"I see...well have fun, I'll see you tomorrow." He masked his feelings well as he smiled at you before walking away.

When he was out of sight, a few minutes later Akiyoshi came back, but nothing were in his hands.

"Eh? I thought you went to get food?" you ask, slightly disappointed since you were getting hungry...like always.

"No...I recognized Minato's footsteps." He said.

You made an 'Ohhhhhh' expression. It was cool how Akiyoshi could recognize someone by the sound of their footsteps.

"But...you totally could've just really gotten food...if you didn't, that means you were watching..!" slowly, you figured out a logic and a knowing smile crept onto your lips. The faintest red appeared on the chief editor's cheeks.

"So worried, huh~?" you looped your arm into his in the spare of the moment and began dragging him somewhere else where the falcon was supposed to be.

"I-It's just natural!" he said before letting himself get dragged off by your hyper-ness.

"Just admit it! YOU LOVE ME TOO MUCH!"

Lol sry I just wanna update last since its only second day things aren't getting crazy yet.

Just started getting math homework, I'm sure the other subjects aren't gonna fall behind much.

T^T

Tho I'm glad I have math this semester and science the next, cuz these are the two subjects that I fear most of the homeworks.

Science cuz its hard, but not math. I fear math hw cuz its long and boring XD 

We had a quiz thingy, and I got 95%. to a lot of ppl this is good, but it isnt.
