Third Person's POV

In a bedroom of a house in Celestic Town you can a light snore and a blonde man sits up and yawn he gets up and looks at himself in the mirror he shrugs before walking off but then realizes something before looking back "why I look like Volo?" he ask himself before opening his bedroom door and realizes "this isn't even my house, what in the-" he questions before looking around, and that when it hit "I am Volo from Legends Arceus!" he states out of shock before looking and sees a younger Volo and a blonde girl who seem a bit older than him which realization hit him "Cynthia?" he questioned.

He looks at his arms "Not only that I'm Volo, but I'm also Cynthia's little brother?" he questions himself.

"Kiss!" he hears a cry from downstairs.

Volo walks downstairs and sees a white, avian Pokémon with an ovoid body. While its feet are small and situated closely together, its wings are broad and triangular. Red and blue triangular markings over its underside, and it has a short tail consisting of three feathers. On the back of its head are three spikes: a red-tipped one on the right, a blue-tipped one on the left, and a pure white one in the middle. It has a relatively flat face and small, black eyes.

"Togekiss!" it cries at Volo happily and snuggles him.

"O-Oh good morning to you too, Togekiss!" Volo tells the Jubilee Pokémon

"Oh, you're up early" Volo looks over and sees an elder woman who Volo recognizes immediately as Carolina Cynthia's Grandmother.

"Granny" he said.

Carolina smiles "you seem that you really have a lot in mind, do you?"

Volo thought for a moment before looking back at his now grandmother "I do" he looks at Togekiss.

"I see you want to become something more" Carolina said.

"Huh?" Volo questioned.

"Oh Volo, you were always like that ever since Togekiss was a cute little Togepi, you two were inseparable, later it became a Togetic and now on your twelve birthday you got a Shiny stone only for Togetic to evolve into a Togekiss" Carolina explains "You wish to become more than be known as the Champion's little brother"

'I mean Cynthia is my new older sister, I guess I'll make the time I have the fullest' Volo thought "Yes, you can say that" he said.

"Well, Volo, why don't you start your journey today" the elder lady suggests.

"Today?" Volo repeats.

"Kiss?" Togekiss tilts its head.

"Yes, Volo, after all is never too late to start a journey at your age" she explains.

Volo looks down for a moment and think before looking over at Togekiss "What do you think, Togekiss?" he asked.

"Kiss!" Togekiss happily cries as Volo nods at the Jubilee Pokémon.

"That's that, we're going on a journey" Volo states.

"Toge!" Togekiss cries happily

"Well, you better change then" Carolina then said before drinking the remaining coffee that she has on her cup.

Volo walks up stairs and looks through his closet and changes from his pajamas to a plain black shirt with a dark green opened hoodie with a sandy cream hood. he also wears ripped jeans with white sneakers while rocking with a brown wrist band with a bracelet with Togekiss' color scheme as inspiration and a white, blue and orange cap and carries a brown backpack that's decorated with two to three pins.

"Alright, Hello, Modern Volo, ready to take on the world, not in a evil way" he said before laughing nervously. "I know that I had a past life, but I don't remember it, or what caused me to die and get isekai here" he then continues as Togekiss enters the room "But I'm sure that I will be living this life to the fullest, and maybe become a either league champion or maybe a Top coordinator, depending on the direction I'll be taking" he states.

"Togekiss" Togekiss nuzzles Volo who looks at his Pokémon partner and petted its head.

"It's time, Togekiss" he said.

Togekiss nods before the two of them walked out of the room and head to the door before Carolina stops him.

"Don't forget your Pokéballs and Pokédex you will need them on this journey" she said handing mentioned devices to the blonde young man.

"Right" Volo nods before taking the Pokédex and Pokéballs from his grandmother "Alright Granny we're off" he said before he walks out with Togekiss following behind the young trainer.

"Good luck out there, Volo, and make good choices" she advices as she sees her grandson taking off riding on Togekiss and they both run off to the Pokémon Center that's located two blocks away from where they live "To be young again" she said before looking at the picture of both Cynthia and Volo smiling together "Oh Cynthia, I wish you could witness the moment where Volo finally stepping out of your shadow and become his own person, like how you always wanted" she said looking at the picture as if Cynthia was dead, though she's not.

Volo walks with a thinking gesture "Hm... I'd wanted to try out the contests and Gym Battles at the same time, what do you think, Togekiss?" he looks at Togekiss in question.

"Togekiss!" Togekiss smiles at its trainer as if it'll support whatever decision Volo will make.

Volo nod "Alright, then we'll do both then!" he states.

"Kiss!" Togekiss cheered

-little time skip-

After registering for the Sinnoh League now only thing left register himself in the Jubilee City go get a pass in order for him to compete in the Pokémon contests. As of Now Volo's riding on Togekiss flying in the skies of the Sinnoh Region and before noticing a hot air balloon which he finds it familiar somehow 

He squinted his eyes and finds a periwinkle-colored hair young man and a magenta-colored hair young woman and a Meowth riding on it.

"Team Rocket?" he questions before looking down and sees a mouse-like Pokémon with red circles on its cheeks.

Volo then hears a pop sound and sees the balloon crashing on a nearby lake making Volo pat Togekiss' back.

"Let's land over there Togekiss" he tells his Partner.

"Toge" Togekiss cries as it flies down

Volo and Togekiss landed sees the cage with Pikachu inside.

Volo runs up to Pikachu "don't worry, I'm a friend, I'm going to get you out" he tells Pikachu before checking on the cage before noticing a green Pokémon walking up to them

The Pokémon a small, light green, quadrupedal Pokémon resembling a turtle or tortoise. Its eyes, feet, and lower jaw are yellow. Its body is covered by a brown shell that is composed of earth. The shell has a thick black stripe and a black rim. On a very healthy Turtwig, the shell should feel moist. A small seedling grows on a brown patch on its head.

"Oh wow! A Turtwig" he said before pulling out his Pokédex

"Turtwig, the Tiny Leaf Pokémon. Its shell is made of earth and when it absorbs water, it becomes harder."

Turtwig taps on the cage as it opens up, much for Pikachu's joy and runs out.

"good, you're out, but I have a feeling those three won't stay down for long" Volo said before picking Pikachu up "we have to get you to your trainer before is too late" he tells Pikachu.

"you're not relieve from duty Pika-pal" he hears Jessie telling the electric type Pokémon.

"Now Carnivine sink your teeth into someone else!" James calls out.

Carnivine is a green plant-like Pokémon resembling a Venus flytrap. Its circular eyes have small pupils, and it has spiky teeth. Its stem is yellow with green spots, with red and green vines beneath with the appearance of tentacles. It has two arms resembling leaves with three leafy fingers each.

Volo pulls out his Pokédex

"Carnivine, the Bug Catcher Pokémon. It uses its sweet-smelling saliva to catch its prey."

"I guess I have to be careful with this one, then" Volo says to himself

"Carnivine bullet seed, let's go!" Volo gets taken aback by the sudden shout.

Carnivine fires a barrage of glowing seed from its mouth making Volo to jumps out of the way.

"That's how you want to play? Togekiss use Sky Attack!" Volo shout as Togekiss flies past its trainer.

Togekiss's body becomes surrounded by a white aura and it flies into the opponent at top speed. As it flies, a white trail of energy is left behind it, and hit Carnivine making it hit Team Rocket as they send off flying.

"Talking about a early exit" Jessie said disappointedly.

"Hardly worth the bite marks on my brain" James complains.

"We're blasting off again!" Team Rocket yells as they vanished with a ding sound.

"Wow hearing that in person hit different somehow" Volo said to himself before remembering and checks on Pikachu "You okay, little one" he ask.

"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu cried sounding thankful for the blonde rescuing him.

Volo smiles at the mouse Pokémon "Is no problem at all" Volo then look at where Team Rocket took off "I have a feeling that this will not be the last I see of them" he said 'Literally' he added in his thoughts. "Now what do we say we look for-" Volo was about to suggest before hearing a voice calling for someone.

"Pikachu!" a familiar voice heard.

Volo's eyes widen recognizing the voice everywhere as he sees four people running up to them

"Everything okay?" the boy who Volo recognizes him as Ash Ketchum ask Pikachu.

"Oh...Nevermind" he said as Pikachu jumped out of his arms and runs up to Ash while Togekiss lands next to his trainer.

"Toge?" Togekiss tilts its head as Turtwig seems ready for a fight.

Volo notice and kneels to the Pokémon's level "it's alright, those ones mean no harm unlike the previous" Volo reassures the Grass Type starter Pokémon.

"Turtwig?" Turtwig looks at Volo with question.

Volo nods in responds "trust me these are good people" he said.

'Now I remember this episode is where Ash catches Turtwig' Volo remembers.

"Wow it's a Turtwig" the female with navy blue hair stated.

"It sure is, pretty sure is the Sinnoh region's starter Pokémon" Ash agrees.

"that's really rare seeing a wild Turtwig" the tanned skinned man who Volo knows as Brock commented.

Volo walks up to them "We happened to find your Pikachu inside a cage, so I help it get out and Togekiss dealt with those three weirdos" he tells them.

"Toge!" Togekiss cried happily.

"Woah, this seems like a evolved form of Togetic" Brock stated.

Volo giggled "that's because it is, I mean it has Toge in the name" he explains as Dawn pulls out her Pokédex.

"Togekiss, the Jubilee Pokémon and the evolved form of Togetic. It is said that Togekiss never appears where there is conflict."

"Wow..." a brunette familiar young man mutters while looking over Dawn's Pokedex.

'Wait... What's Gary doing here!? I mean he does appear in this season, but he doesn't appear this early' Volo thinks looking confused looking at Professor Oak's grandson.

Ash smiles at the blonde "Thanks a lot, for saving Pikachu, my name is Ash" Ash introduces himself.

"I'm Brock" Brock introduces himself to the blonde.

"My name is Dawn" Dawn then introduces herself.

"And I'm Gary, and this is my partner, Umbreon" Gary introduces himself and his Partner Pokémon Umbreon

Umbreon is a mammalian Pokémon which has a sleek, black body with four slender legs and crimson eyes. It has two pairs of pointed teeth one pair in each jaw which are visible when its mouth is open. It has long, pointed ears and a bushy tail, each with a yellow band around them. Its forehead and legs have yellow rings on them.

"Breon!"

Volo pulls out his Pokédex and the screen shows a picture of Umbreon.

"Umbreon, the Moonlight Pokémon, and an evolved form of Eevee. The rings of Umbreon's body glow faintly when exposed to the moon's aura, and it gains a mysterious power."

"Is nice to meet you all, my name is Volo, and this is my number one partner, Togekiss" Volo then introduces both Togekiss and himself.

Pikachu walks up to Togekiss "Pika, Pi!" Pikachu cried Thankfully to the Jubilee Pokémon.

"Kiss!" Togekiss give Pikachu a bow.

Pikachu for some reason could've sworn it saw sparkling bubbles around Togekiss as it smiled. Togekiss tilts its head confusedly as Pikachu looks away while hiding its blush

Umbreon also saw the sparkling bubbles around Togekiss once the Jubilee Pokémon looks at the Moonlight Pokémon and smiled making Umbreon blush and looks down.

"Oh, I see" the group of teenagers turns and see a old lady walking up to them.

-scene change-

Turtwig, Pikachu, Umbreon and Togekiss are eating Pokémon food that the woman who the group her name is Clara made.

"That's really nice of you in bringing Pokémon food for all of them, Miss Clara" Gary said to the elder lady.

Clara smiled "it was nothing, after all with all these special herbs that I planted myself, I made enough to make not just Pokémon food but those special food for certain Types, like Turtwig" she responds. 

"So does that make Turtwig your Pokémon?" Dawn asked.

Gary then looks at Volo "And here I thought Turtwig belonged to Volo" he joked.

Volo shakes his head "I never said that it was" he responds.

"I'm plenty busy enough working on my herb garden without having the time to working on being a trainer or a coordinator" Clara explains gaining the two male's attention back to her "Truth is, one day Turtwig, just showed up here out of nowhere, the poor dear look exhausted, so I put up some dinner and made sure Turtwig had plenty of sleep" Clara then tells them.

"Well, if I was Turtwig I wouldn't want to leave after that" Brock said.

Volo looks at Brock "I believe no one wanted to leave after that" he said.

Clara nods "Yes, Turtwig's been here ever since, helping everything and everyone including me, all from a simple twist of fate" She explains before looking at Turtwig "In no time at all, the Pokémon around here make Turtwig their leader, but at times Turtwig can be a bit carried away, it's a lot of responsibility for the poor dear" she then said.

"It sounds like the pressure is really high, the Turtwig I saw back at Professor Rowan's lab was so laid back and totally relax" Dawn points out

"Not all Turtwig can behave the same, Dawn" Gary then responds.

"Pokémon are like people, more kinds of personalities that you can believe" Brock explains.

"Brock's right, good thing Volo managed to convince Turtwig that we don't mean harm" Ash said sounding grateful before turning to the blonde who simply fixing his long blonde hair.

"It was nothing, really" Volo reties his hair into a messy bun unaware of Ash, Gary, and Brock's red faces "After all, I only did what feels right" he explains while putting his cap back on before both he and Ash notices a Pokémon crawling looking pretty weak from the nearest window.

the Pokémon is a slender-bodied, quadrupedal Pokémon. Most of its fur is colored tan, but it has several brown stripes. One long stripe stretches the length of its body before ending in an arrowhead shape on its forehead. There are additional stripes on each side of its bushy tail and on its cheeks. It has sharp, elongated claws and small pointed teeth. It has small, tuft-like ears, long cheek fur, and blue eyes.

Ash gasped as he sees the Pokémon collapse and runs out "Hey, Ash, wait up" Gary calls as he and the others follows the Kantonian.

"A Linoone; what's wrong?" Ash stops running as Volo stands next to him

Dawn pulls out her Pokédex "a Linoone?" she repeats the Pokémon's name "let me sees" she looks at her Pokédex as it shows a picture of mentioned Pokémon.

"Linoone, the Rushing Pokémon. When it spots its prey, it runs after it in a straight line. Though able to run over 60 miles per hour, it is unable to turn."

"Clearly it seems to be beaten up pretty bad by who knows what?" Volo said which Gary and Brock nod agreeing with the obvious statement 'Still to this day the how this Linoone gotten beat up is still unknown' he thought as he sees Ash gently picking up Linoone.

"Let's head back to Clara's house quick" Ash stated.

"That goes without saying" Volo agrees as he climbs on Togekiss "Give me Linoone, I'll take it straight to Clara's house in a blink of a eye" he tells Ash

Ash seems a little hesitant but nod and gives Linoone to Volo "You're going to be okay, Linoone Promise"

"Line~" Linoone cried in pain.

"Togekiss, let's fly!" he tells the Jubilee Pokémon who flies up in the air and flies back straight to Clara house who is expecting them from outside "this Linoone needs help ASAP" he stated to the woman "can any of those herbs help out?" Volo asked as he gets off Togekiss still holding Linoone in his arm.

"I'll prepared something, be back before you know it" Clara said before walking back inside.

Volo goes to the picnic table that Clara has outside of her house, and he sits there waiting for the others to arrived.

"Volo!" he hears Ash calling him.

Volo turns and sees the group joining him "Clara's inside getting to make a medicine out of the herbs that she grew, Brock, here" he explains before gently giving Linoone to the Pokémon breeder.

Clara then comes back with a small bow of smashed herbs that she made "this should help the poor dear" she tells the group of teenagers.

"These herbs are good to heal all sorts of wound and bruises" Brock then said while taking the bowl from Clara and then putting some of herbs on Linoone's body "You'll be better soon"

"Linoone!" Linoone cried happily at Brock.

"Real soon is right, you sure know your stuff" Dawn agrees while Gary nods.

"That's Brock for ya" Gary complimented the eldest of the teens.

"Don't thank me, the herbs over there did all the work" Brock responds feeling flattered

'Though, be a bit weird, but Brock is totally a compassionate person when it come to Pokémon's wellbeing, no wonder Nurse Joy suggested Brock to proceed a career to become a Pokémon Doctor' Volo thought before noticing that Brock was looking at him which Volo gave him a friendly smile making Brock blush and looks away.

'What's wrong with me, why did my heart skip a beat for him when he's a guy?' Brock questions himself.

"Glad we found Linoone so quick" Ash stated.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu jumps happily.

then suddenly he hears a odd sound before looking back and gasped before pushing both Pikachu and Turtwig out of the way and then two plungers caught both Volo's back and elbow and gets pulled away from the others.

"Volo!" the group and Clara called.

 He states before getting in a cylindered cage which is unfortunately for Volo is not to spacy for him.

 "Volo!" Ash calls for the blonde.

Then suddenly a big Magikarp submarine emerges from the lake before team rocket comes out laughing.

Volo frown but then remembers 'I get to hear their famous Motto in person, I don't know if I should be blessed or cursed for this?' he wonders in his thoughts.

"Who in the name of Pokémon are you?" Clara asked.

"Listen, is that a voice I hear? James your turn"

"It's speaking to me loud and clear."

"On the wind!"

"Past the stars!"

"In your ear!"

"Bringing chaos at a breakneck pace"

"Dashing hope, putting fear in its place"

" A rose by any other name is just as sweet."

"When everything's worse, our work is complete"

"Jessie!"

"And it's James!"

"And Meowth, now that's a name!"

"Putting the do-gooders in their place..."

"...we're Team Rocket..."

"...In your face!"

"Wobbuffet!"

"Mime, Mime! Mime, Mime!"

Volo looks at Team Rocket dumbfounded 'Shit forgot that they changed the motto this season' he thought.

"Team Rocket!" Ash and Dawn yelled.

"Say that's quite a catch, can't get anything fresher than this"

"Leave Volo out of this!" Dawn yells.

"He took our prey now he must suffer the consequences from his actions!" Jessie responds before she and the other get back inside the submarine and they drove off with Volo pulling further from the group.

"Volo!" the group calls for the Blonde.

Volo looks at Togekiss and nods; Togekiss takes a few steps back and flies into the air and then flies down at Team Rocket like a missile, and uses Sky Attack as it slams into the Submarine.

"We got to help Volo" Ash states.

"Pika Pi!" Pikachu agrees.

The glass cage then breaks as Volo swims away to the shore.

"Who would thought I'd be the one getting soaked" Volo said to himself as Togekiss lands next to its trainer.

"Kiss" Togekiss looks at Volo sounding concerned.

Volo petted Togekiss's head "I will be okay, don't worry too much" he says with a warm smile.

"Volo!" He looks back and sees Ash and the other catching up with him.

Volo then gets up "Everyone" he said.

"Are you okay?" Dawn asked.

Volo nods "I am now" he responds.

"Pardon me if I could care less" everyone looks over and sees Team Rocket looking out their submarine "you make me sick! Listen to that twerpish tribe" Jessie angrily said.

"If you think we'll leave you off that easy then think again!" Meowth stated from outside of the submarine.

"Right we lose when I say so!" James agrees.

Team Rocket then jump out of the Submarine and landed on the shore facing the teens or what Team Rocket calls them twerps.

"Alright, enough is enough!" Ash yells having enough of Team Rocket's trouble making

"Pika Pika!" Pikachu steps up.

"Turtwig!" Turtwig joins the mouse Pokémon.

"More twerp intolerance!" Jessie said sounding irritated "Go Seviper!" She calls as a Snake like Pokémon appears in front of her.

The Pokémon is a serpentine Pokémon that is usually depicted scrunched up like an accordion. It is mostly covered in black scales, but it has several markings on its body. It has yellow hexagon markings that run from its head to its tail, small yellow bumps where it touches the ground, and various purple scar-like marks. It has elongated red fangs that protrude from its upper jaw and fierce red eyes. Its tail is partially red and has a blade-like shape.

"Seviper!" The Pokémon cried.

"You too, Carnivine!" James joins in calling out his Pokémon only for Carnivine to bite on his head in a affectionate manner "Stop it I like my long hair" James said.

Togekiss was about to step in as well but Volo stops it "Wait, Togekiss" Togekiss looks at Volo confused "let leave them to Ash and the others, Alright?" He tells his Pokémon who seemed hesitant but nods.

"Seviper use Poison Tail!" Jessie commands as Seviper's tip of its tail glows purple and attempts to strike them with its tail.

"Now you use Bite, Carnivine, go!" James joins as Carnivine open its mouth and attempts to chomp on them

Turtwig charges at the two bigger Pokémon and fights them off on its own much to Jessie and James' shock.

"No way!" They both gasped.

"Yes way!" Dawn responds.

Turtwig while biting on Carnivine throws the bigger Grass type back to Team Rocket

"You and your dumb teeth! Meowth yelled angrily at the tiny leaf Pokémon.

"All right, Seviper use Poison Tail once more!" Jessie yells.

"Carnivine,  Bite, but their heads not mine!" James joins.

Both Carnivine and Seviper chargers at them.

"Here they come, Go Pikachu!" Ash yells as Pikachu runs forward. "Use Volt Tackle!" Ash then commands.

Pikachu runs as its body then becomes surrounded by golden electricity, and it tackles at Team Rocket causing them to be sent flying.

"I thought you told them Well lose till you say so" Jessie complained

"Hey, were you talking behind my back?" Meowth questioned.

"Of course not! I said go if those idiots misunderstood!" James responds as they all banished with a thing sound.

"All right!" Ash cheered.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu lands next to Ash.

Turtwig jumps on Ash's head biting it.

Volo places a hand on Ash's shoulder "it's alright, that's how Turtwig shows affections" he explains.

"I see" Ash laugh nervously

-scene change-

"Thanks for everything Clara" Dawn thanked the old lady as she Ash, Brock, Gary, and Volo were standing a cross from one another.

'This is the part where Turtwig challenges Ash to a battle before he captures it' Volo remembers before looking down at Turtwig who's looking up at Ash.

"You all take care" Clara says to the youngsters.

"And you do the same" Brock replies.

Ash looks down at Turtwig "take it easy Turtwig" Ash said

"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu waves at the wild Grass Starter Pokémon

Volo watches the others walking a head before looking at Turtwig with a motherly smile "You're not the only one who want to tag along with them, Turtwig" he said.

Turtwig looks surprised before looking back at Clara.

"I'll be just fine by myself; you go with them" Clara tells the Tiny Leaf Pokémon.

"Hey Turtwig" Turtwig looks at Volo "Race you!" he runs off.

"Turtwig!" Turtwig catches up with Volo and runs past him and stops in front of Ash and the others.

"Turtwig?" Ash questions.

"What's wrong?" Dawn also asked.

Clara and Volo then catch up with them "Turtwig wants to go along with you" Ash hears Clara telling him.

"Huh?" Ash looks at Clara surprised.

"What's with the shocked look? it's clear as water that Turtwig likes you" Volo tells Ash.

Ash then looks back at Turtwig for a moment and then smile "You bet you can come along" Ash answered.

Turtwig getup and claps it front paws together looking determined.

"But first thing first, Turtwig wants to battle you" Clara points out.

Ash nods "Sure, that sounds good to me" Ash agrees with Turtwig's terms.

"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu nods.

-scene change-

Pikachu and Turtwig are facing each other in a plain field as the others are watching from the sidelines.

Turtwig started off by attending to use Tackle on Pikachu.

"'Kay Pikachu, quick attack, let's go!" Ash yells as Pikachu runs to Turtwig with high speed that leave a trial of white light behind it.

Pikachu hits Turtwig making it roll away but gets back on its feet and shoors sharp leafs on its leaf.

"Quick Dodge it" Ash tells Pikachu who dodges the razor leaf with ease by jumping away and then get tackled by Turtwig without leaving Ash a change to give Pikachu another command.

Volo watches the battle closely 'Just like cannon Turtwig will use bite on Pikachu's tail and then Ash will tell Pikachu to use Iron Tail on the tree and slams Turtwig there and then get captured.' Volo thought as everything that he was explaining in his thought occurred.

"Let's wrap this up, use Thunderbolt!" Ash commanded.

Pikachu releases a powerful bolt of yellow electricity from its body at the Grass Starter Pokémon. causing it to get paralyzed. which Turtwig's eyes widen when realizing this.

"Right, Go Pokéball!" Ash yells while throwing a Pokéball which it hit Turtwig before it gets sucked in by a red light and the Pokéball hit the ground, and it starts to wiggle.

Everyone minus Volo watch the Pokéball with tension in the air.

"So that it? Turtwig is Ash's?" Dawn asks.

"We'll find out" Brock responds.

The Pokéball then stops wiggling and clicks much to Ash's joy  he picks up the Pokéball.

"Hey! I just caught a Turtwig!" Ash stated.

"Pi Pikachu!" Pikachu cheered.

"Not bad Ashy-boy" Ash hear Gary telling him while they all catch up to him

"That's how you catch a Pokémon, how cool is that!" Dawn said in awe.

"Promise me you'll take good care of Turtwig, won't you dear? It means a lot" Clara tells Ash.

Ash nods "Right!" he promised.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu nods with Ash.

A trainer's life is always filled with experiencing at helping and being helped, and ever learning in the process, now accompany by a feisty Tiny Leaf Pokémon our heroes continue towards Jubilife City where Dawn and Volo's first Pokémon contest await,

"Hey Volo, I almost forgot to ask, where you're heading off to?" Gary ask

"You guys are heading to Jubilife City, right?" Volo ask which the group nod "I'm heading there too where I make my debut at the Pokémon contest" he explains

"You too, Volo? Not saying this with offensive intentions but you seemed more like the type of trainer who would go challenge Gym Battles like Ash" Dawn said.

Volo shakes his head "none taken, actually I'm heading both paths actually" he then reveals before looking at Ash "Ash did you know that at Jubilife City there's a Pokémon Gym" this excites Ash.

"Woah, really!?" Ash questions.

Volo nods "Yeah, unfortunately I have the feeling that the Gym will be closed temporarily due to the Contest happening" he explains.

Ash nods "I see..." he mutters and smiles "thanks for telling me, though" 

Volo smiles "I hope you guys don't mind me tagging along since we're going to the same place" he then said.

Ash shakes his head "not at all, the more the merrier as I say"

Volo nods before looking at Dawn "just to give you a advance warning, Dawn; when it comes to competitions, I can get competitive, and take Contest battles serious, so if you feel any tension, that was my competitiveness kicking in, it runs in my family" he explains.

Dawn nods "Thanks for the warning, but no need to worry, you just focus on your part while I focus on mine" she said.

"May the best Coordinator wins" Volo said.

"Right!" Dawn agrees.
