"how are you feeling?" joohyuk asked, lightly kicking rocks under his feet.

i pursed my lips. "better now." i muttered.

"good." he said. there was a pause, but then he looked at me abruptly, which made me jump a little. "by the way, i can come to your game tomorrow right? right??"

i rolled my eyes. "you don't need to-"

"too late. i've already decided a while ago."

"then why bother asking??"

"so i can establish the fact that i'm coming!" he argued. "i'll scream as loud as i can-"

"don't you dare!" i said. "i swear i'll act like i don't know you for the entire day."

joohyuk rolled his eyes. "tch. you're too picky. i've already decided that i'll be loud so there's no bother stopping me-"

i glared at him and stuck my leg out while he was walking, making him trip and stumble like the idiot he is. i chuckled and continued on my way.

i heard the heavy footsteps of the 8-foot giant behind me, and then-

"GAHHHHHH!!" he literally jumped on me, and i swore i almost collapsed onto the ground. i probably would've if coach han didn't make me carry poles all the time.

anyways, i shrieked so loudly that everyone on campus looked at me. it's not even like i didn't expect it or anything, but like if some long legged giraffe did a sneak attack on you, then you'd probably yell your ass off too.

i slapped his arm. and kicked him in the butt. really hard. "that wasn't funny, you ugly spider legged pointy-chined barbarian."

joohyuk was howling in laughter. "aHaHAHAHA ha ha ha hA ha-"

i blew a piece of hair out of my face and stomped ahead of him in annoyance.

"aH HA HA HA HA!" joohyuk yelled even louder, probably to mock / tease / annoy the living hell out of me. it sure worked.

i totally ignored him and continued walking. after a few seconds of silence, i suddenly thought it was too quiet. did he just ditch me after playing all those jokes?? wow, whatta dick.

i stopped and turned around to check. he was standing behind me.

but like literally behind me. not a foot away-nor an inch, probably not even a centimeter away. i sort of bumped into him and it was sort of uncomfortable. sort of.

joohyuk, who was tall enough to block the sunlight out of my face, looked down at me and smiled. "i didn't leave you." he whispered in a somewhat adorable manner.

"dang it." i said, even though it was a lie.

"fine then, i'll leave." joohyuk said to test me. he started walking off but i yanked his arm back.

"you told me you'd walk me. you can't go back on your words now." i said.

"aww, do you want me to stay?" joohyuk asked. "how sweet. i guess i have no other choice then." he said in a prideful tone.

"no, i am merely only using you to make me not look so lonely." i said.

"psh, same thing. you passed my test anyways. i wasn't going to leave."

i glared at him. "i hate you."
