(A/N. Ok so first i just wanna say that Kai is gonna be a little different in personality and other things than canon. For example. He's not gonna be egotistic like in the show. He's also going to have been going on kendo classes and martial art when he was younger to be able to defend Nya and himself from danger.
And one more thing, his way of unlocking his true potential is gonna change, you will see how. Anyway, lets begin shall we.)

It was a nice and beautiful day in Ignacia. Kai was working on a sword in his family's black smith. ''Four weapons''. He wore his blacksmith clothes. Right now he was about to cool a new sword.

Kai: Ok easy now, and cool it down, and there.

He took out a perfect sword from the bucket of water.

(Like i said he's different from normal Kai more patient and wiser)

Nya: Looking good big bro.

Kai looked at hid little sister Nya. She was three years younger than Kai. So he was very protective of her. Ecspecialy when it came to boys flirting with her. Let's just say, if you broke Nya's heart. You would be broken the next day.

Kai: Thank you lil sis. All we need now is customers.

He sighed as Nya put her hand on his shoulder. She gave him a comforting smile.

Nya: Don't worry we get customers.

Yeah Four weapons wasn't doing great with business, but Kai wouldn't give up. He'd promised himself that he would take care of the shop after his parents disappeared. He had to take care of Nya and make sure she was safe, which wasn't easy. But he did it because he loved his sister very much.

Nya: By the way you never told me about your date last saturday. How was this guy?

Yes. Kai was gay and had been dating some guys he thought wanned more than just getting laid. But he was wrong.

Kai cringed just at the thought of his date.

Kai: Oh yeah him. He was the worst so far. He has an ego as big as the earth, he loves the color brown way to much. And he has trophies that i know 100% is fake. He was such a shit.

Nya: Ok that is bad. But just keep looking. You'll find the right one out there somewhere.

Kai: Yeah you are right. Come on let's get back to work.

Suddenly Kai saw an old man walk into the shop. He looked around in fascination.

Old man: Hmmm many weapons for samurais. But none for ninjas.

The siblings walked up to him.

Nya: Oh sorry about that sir.

Kai: If you want, we can fix it for you. It will take a couple of weeks though.

The old man gave a gentle smile.

Old man: No it's ok, but there is something else I am looking for. And it isn't weapons.

Kai and Nya looked a little confused.

Kai: Um, sorry sir. But I don't think that you will find that here. We only sale weapons sorry.

Old man: It's ok. I'm sure I'll find it. Have a nice day.

The man then walked away. Nya and Kai sighed before smiling at eachother.

Kai: Oh well. We might not have gotten a customer, but it's ok. I mean we still have eachother. What could go wrong?

Just then the sky turned dark and both Kai and Nya looked to see what was happening. Out of nowhere big vehicles flew over a hill and the one who was driving them was.

Nya: Skeletons? But how?

Kai: I don't know. But go inside and stay there!

Kai then took out a katana he made himself. He started to fight the skeletons one by one and managed to defend himself.

Samukai: Take down that boy and find the map. Don't forget to take his sister!

Samukai stepped out of the truck. And two skeletons Kruncha and Nuckal was arguing over who goes first. They stopped when Samukai told them to go and find the map. So they snuck inside the shop and found it without Kai noticing.

Kai was surrounded by skeletons, but then Nya came with a bò staff and started to fight them aswell.

Kai: Nya! What are you doing? I told you to stay inside!

Nya: And what? Let you have all fun?

Kai rolled his eyes and saw Samukai. He also saw that he didn't have any weapons and went to attack him. But then Samukai laughed and showed Kai his four arm, each holding a dagger.

Kai: Oh fuck.

He fought with him and managed to hold his ground. But he then lost balance and fell backward to the ground. Everything seemed to be over for Kai, when suddenly a golden tornado hit Samukai so he was knocked back.

The tornado settled and it was shown to be the old man.

Samukai: Sensai Wu! Your spinjitsu looks rusty.

Wu: Nothing then bone, to sharpen it's edge Samukai.

The two of them started to fight while Kai was still fighting skeletons with Nya. Suddenly a giant mecanic hand was shot from one of the vehicles and grabbed Nya.

Nya: Kai help!!

Kai: Nya nooo!!

He yelled as the vehicles started to drive away. Samukai hoped on, laughing loudly.

Kai ran after but fell to the ground heart broken. His parents where gone, and now his sister, the only family he had left was kidnapped. He felt completely helpless. Soon he started to crying until he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up and saw that it was Wu.

He helped him up and looked a little guilty.

Wu: I'm sorry I couldn't save your sister.

Kai: It wasn't your fault, that skeleton was distracting you.

Wu gave him a comforting smile.

Wu: Don't worry, we'll get her back. But first you must train. You have very good potential.

Kai started thinking. Could he really trust this man? But he was his only hope to save Nya. He thought for a minute and then he decided what the right thing was. He wiped his tears away and turned to Wu.

Kai: I'm in!
