So we know that Saunders is Krux and that he forced Ray and Maya away from their kids. So in this Acronix don't come back, he's still stuck in time. Krux didn't want Ray and Maya for making weapons to his army. He just wanned them to make the big mech to when he get the time blades. Anyway let's start.)

Kai and Nya were in the museum. It had been some weeks after day of the Departed, and they wanned to help clean up. Saunders walked up to them.

Saunders: Kai, Nya. What a nice surprise. What brings you here?

Nya: We wanned to help after what happened a couple of weeks ago.

Kai: Yeah, the others wanned to help too. Nut they're busy with moving into the temple of airjitzu.

Saunders: Well I'm glad that you wanned to help. If you need me, then I'll be in my office.

He walked off and Kai and Nya started clean up. Suddenly Kai stopped infront of a painting of Ray and Maya.

Kai Nya, come look at this.

Nya walked over and saw the painting.

Nya: Is that?

Kai: Mom and dad. Just like I remember them.

Nya: Just think. Their children got their powers. You dad's fire, and me mom's water.

The two looked at it while having their arms around eachother. Remembering how they were happy with their parents.

Kai: Wonder why this painting is here?

Nya: We should probably ask Saunders.

Kai nodded and they walked to his office. They heard him talk to himself without him noticing them.

Saunders: This is great. Now when my prisoner's kids are here, I can catch them and make them continue working on the mech. And then I'll finally get you back brother. I swear, because otherwise my name isn't Krux.

Kai and Nya looked at eachother and whispered.

Kai: Prisoner's kids? Do you think he means us?

Nya: We're the only ones here. And if that's the case, then his prisoners must be.

Their eyes widend.

Both: Our parents.

The bursted into the room making Krux jump.

Krux: Oh do you need me?

Kai: Stop pretending. We heard you monologuing. Something that always make the villain fall.

Nya used her powers to trap Krux. Kai walked up to him.

Kai: Start talking.

Krux: Okay you got me. My real name is Krux, I was one of the old elemental masters together with my brother Acronix.

Nya: What's your elemant?

Krux: We had the element of time. We tried to rule over Ninjago with our powers but, Wu, Garmadon and your parents stopped us by making the four time blades, which took away our powers. We got sent in time, I was lucky and managed to get out just some months after that. But not my brother.

Nya: You talked about some mech. What was that about?

Krux: After that I went under the name Saunders and got close to your parents. Then I reveald myself to them and told them that they would work for me, or I would hurt you both. They had no Choice then to listen to me. They are working on a mech that after it get the time blades, can create a rift in time and I would reunite with my brother. And we would crush the elemental masters and take over Ninjago.

Kai: But we stopped you before that happened.

Krux: True, but it doesn't matter. Because I'll never tell where your parents are.

Kai and Nya smirked.

Nya: You don't need to say anything.

Krux: What do you mean by that?

They contacted the others and told then what happened. Then they contacted an old friend that was good with minds. Neuro. He read Krux mind, wrote something down on paper and then turned to the ninja.

Neuro: I got their location.

He gave them the paper.

Wu: Thanks Neuro. We're thankfull.

Neuro: No problem. Now I gotta take this man to the kryptarium prison. Just call me if you need me again.

He summoned his dragon and threw Krux onto it before he flew off.

Wu: Now ninja, it's time to get my old friends back.

All: Ninja go!

They summoned their dragons and flew off the way Neuro told them. Pyther sat with Cole. Kai and Nya looked nervous. Both Jay and Cole noticed.

Cole: Are you two okay?

Jay: Yeah, you look like you're not sure if this is real.

Nya: It was just a long time ago we saw our parents.

Kai: Yeah, what if they don't remember us.

Cole: Ofcourse they'll remember you.

Jay: You're their children after all. And parents always remember their kids.

Zane and Lloyd flew up to them.

Zane: The stats that they would forget about you are about 5%.

Lloyd: One thing I know is, that you never forget about the ones you love.

Kai and Nya smiled.

Kai: Thanks guys.

Nya: We needed it.

They continued flying.

Pyther: Wonder if they'll accept me. I don't know know if they trust snakes? Least of all Anacondrai.

Wu: They were the only ones that didn't want to see the Anacondrai generals getting banished. They even tried to bargen with me and Garmadon about not fighting the snakes.

The others were surprised.

Pyther: Then I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Meanwhile

In what looked like a low budget blacksmith shop, were a man and a woman working.

Ray: If we work extra hard. It should be done today.

Maya: Hope Krux let us go after. I really wanna know if Kai and Nya are okay.

Ray walked over and hugged his wife.

Ray: Don't worry dear. They're strong. They'll be okay. They're probably independent adults now.

Maya: Hope so. (Sigh) Let's get back to work.

They started working when they suddenly heard what sounded like dragons. When they heard that, they ran outside and saw seven dragons that looked like they were made of elemental powers.

They landed as Ray and Maya slowly backed away. Wu jumped off and his dragon disappeared. He saw his old friends and smiled.

Wu: Ray, Maya. It's good to see you unharmed.

The couple looked at Wu and recognized him.

Ray: Wu? Is it that really you?

Wu: Yes it is.

They walked up to him and hugged him.

Maya: It's good to see you again. But what happened to Krux?

Wu: We found out his plan and stopped him. We also found out where you were.

Ray saw the ninja. Pyther had turned himself invisible.

Ray: Looks like you got some students.

Wu: I do.

Lloyd, Cole, Jay and Zane took off their hoods and introdoced themself.

Cole: I'm Cole master of earth.

Ray: Good to see you.

Cole smiled.

Jay: Hi I'm Jay master of lightning. But not only that I can do other things aswell like-

Maya: Very great with talking I see. Just like the master of lightning I knew.

Jay could guess who that was. His biological mother.

Zane: Greetings. I'm Zane master of ice. As you can see, I'm a nindroid. My father built me to protect those who can't protect themselves.

Ray: Never thought that a droid could be an elemental master. But I'm glad to know that.

Lloyd: I'm Lloyd. The green ninja, son to Garmadon, and grandson to The first spinjitsu master.

Maya: It's good to know that your grandfathers wisdom won't vanish.

Ray: It nice to see you all. But Wu. We need to go back to four weapons. We need to know if Kai and Nya is okay.

Wu: You don't have to worry about that.

Wu stepped aside and showed two other ninja. They took off their hoods to reveal Kai and Nya. Ray and Maya looked at them shocked. Kai and Nya were also shocked.

Maya: I can't belive it.

Ray: Our two children. They've grown so much.

Kai: Hi dad.

Nya: Hi mom.

The parents and siblings ran to eachother and embraced in a hug. They shedded tears of joy. And the others watched them, happy for them.

The family let go and looked at eachother.

Maya: You two are more beautiful then I remember.

Ray: Just like your parents.

They then noticed Kai's wedding ring.

Ray: We were really gone a long time.

Maya: Who's the lucky girl? Or boy?

Kai smiled and walked over to Cole.

Kai: This is my husband Cole. The one that I really love.

Maya turned to Nya.

Maya: Nya. Do you have someone special?

Nya: I do.

She walked over to Jay.

Maya: I see.

She grabbed Jay and Cole by their collars and stared into their eyes.

Maya: Listen closely. If any you break my babies's hearts, I'll break you so that you can only move your eyes. Got it?

Jay and Cole nodded frightened. Maya's face returned to normal.

Maya: Good. Nice to meet you.

She let go of them. Kai then spoke.

Kai: There's one more I would like you to meet.

He and Cole gestured to Pyther who turned visible again. Both Ray and Maya were shocked and surprised.

Kai: Mom, dad. This is Pyther. My and Cole's adoptive son.

Pyther slowly slithered up to them.

Pyther: Nice to meet you.

He was nervous. That was until Ray and Maya pulled him into a hug.

Maya: Welcome to the family sweetie.

Ray: Nice to meet you two squirt.

Pyther smiled and hugged his grandparents.

Lloyd: Anyway, what do we do with the mech?

Cole: Leave it to me.

He used his powers to crush it.

Wu: Now let's get home.

The ninja summoned their dragons and Kai and Nya helped their parents up. They flew off and the two sisters were happy that they were reunited their parents.

Some weeks later had the ninja completely moved into the temple of airjitzu. The night had arrived and both Kai and Cole sat outside while looking at the sky.

Cole: Can you believe it. It's been years since we first meet. But it feels like yesterday.

Kai nodded.

Kai: Yeah. And I wouldn't change it for anything.

They both looked at eachother.

Cole: I love you my firefly.

Kai: And I love you my diamond.

Soon they shared a love full kiss as two stars flew across the night sky. Symbolizing that their story was now over.
