The four ninja were carrying Sensai Wu in a wagon, talking about how he'd found them. Zane said he was meditating under water, Jay said he was trying his new envention and Cole was testing his limits by climbing a big mountain. Kai got very impressed of their stories, well except for Jay.

Zane: What about you Kai?

Kai didn't want to tell them at first. He didn't like talking about those memories. But then he told them his own story. When he'd finished the others except for Wu were shocked.

Cole: Wow. That's a very hard life you had.

Kai: It's ok. I've managed it this far, it's nothing.

Although, it was something. Kai was determent to protect everyone he cared about. He was afraid to that he couldn't protect anyone. Something he didn't want to confess.

They soon arrived to the caves of despair where they saw the skeleton's trucks.

Cole: They must be here. Ok here's the plan.

He explained his plan and the others agreed. They went in and saw the skeletons looking at the map.

Jay: Hey they holding it upside down.

Kai put his hand over Jay's mouth.

Kai: Jay! Shut the hell up, or you'll give away our location.

Jay quickly became quit.

The ninja ran the direction the map really showed and found the scythe of earth. They took it and put it in a sheath. They then headed to the exit when Jay yelled.

Jay: OUR FIRST MISSION TOGETHER THIS IS SO COOL!!!!!

The sound echoed in the cave, which made the skeletons come to their location.

The others: JAY!!!

They had no choice then to fight. That was until out of nowhere a electric blue tornado appered. It stopped and showed Jay. He explained that it was like the training course and the others followed.

The skeletons then looked scared and ran away. Why you ask? Well it wasn't for the ninja. It was for a dragon who was the guardien of the scythe. The ninja ran to an opening when Kai got an idea. He quickly picked up a rock.

Cole: Kai what are you doing!?

Kai: Just trust me.

The ninja went through the opening and Kai stopped. He looked up on a pile of rocks over it. The other ninja saw this and panicked. Kai aimed the rock at the pile and threw it. It hit. The pile of rocks fell infront the opening, blocking it.

The others ninja stood there stunned.

Kai: Let's go! It won't hold that long!

The others nodded and ran. They came out of the cave and cheered. Cole looked over at Kai who smiled. That's when his cheeks started to heat up.

Wu: Good job my students. And you Kai, good thinking.

Jay: Yeah that was awsome.

Zane: I agree 100%.

Cole: Yeah I would have never thought of that.

Kai blushed a little. Then they went to the wagon when Cole stopped Kai.

Cole: Hey Kai. I really think you're very wise.

Kai smiled at Cole with a small blush.

Kai: Thanks Cole. You're not that bad either.

He then walked to the wagon as Cole blushed again.

Later they were traveling to get the other three weapons. It was many days. And during the time both Kai and Cole seemed to get closer. Jay and Zane noticed this.

Jay: Seems like we have two lovebirds with us.

Zane looked around confused.

Zane: Weird. I don't see any birds around here.

Jay: Not real birds Zane. Lovebirds is what two people in love is called.

Zane: Ah. Then I understand. Should we inform Kai and Cole that they love eachother?

Jay sighed.

Soon they got the shurikens of ice, that also was guarded by a dragon. Then they got the nunshucks of lightning, where another dragon was. The only weapon left was the sword of fire.

The ninja and Sensai Wu was camping for the night, playing music and danced, even Wu joined the dancing. Everyone had fun, but Kai couldn't stop thinking about Nya. He walked away from the fire and sat by himself, looking at the stars. Cole noticed it and went to talk to him.

Cole's pov

I saw Kai go to be by himself, so I went to talk to him.

Cole: Thinking about your sister?

Kai looked at me with sad eyes.

Kai: Yes. I'm so worried about her, she's the only family I have left, and i don't know what I'll do if something happens to her.

I sat there and comforted h. I knew how it was to lose a family member.

Cole: We get her back, I promise you.

He looked at me. I could see his ember eyes much clearer and they where beautiful. It was like they were burning.

Kai: Cole. How should a perfect boyfriend be for you?

I was a little surprised by that question. But I soon calmed down.

Cole: Someone who thinks with their heart and not their dick. Someone who listens to their loved one and is there for them. Who's willing to do anything to protect, comfort and making them feel comfortable.

I could see how Kai looked like I could read his mind.

Kai: Wow. Never meet someone who thought the same. Others I've dated always want to fuck on our first date.

This made me smile gently at Kai. I gently touched his cheek. He looked at me as I blushed.

Cole: I would never do that.

He looked at me blushing and I could feel my heart flutter.

Third person pov

Cole and Kai was lost in a trance. They slowly came closer to eachother. And before they knew it, their lips touched eachother. Sparks flew around them as time seemed to stand still. After a minute they separated from the kiss. Both of them blushed.

Cole: S-sorry. I don't know what flew over me.

Kai: It's ok, I liked it. I never knew if I would find a boy like you.

The two of them continued to talk until they fell asleep. Not knowing what would happen next.
