In New Ninjago city were people afraid. Hover-copters wete searching for the ninja and the techno blades. While they did that was Pixal extracting Golden Power Lloyd used on a Security Mech.

Pixal: Initializing power transference. Extracting Golden Power. Standby for physical somatic download.

A beam of golden power was shot into a container where the rest of Overlord was.

Overlord: Yes. Yes!

It was close that Overlord got a physical form but it didn't work.

Overlord: It's not enough! I need more of the boy's power if I'm ever to be freed of this digital prison! I'm fed up with pathetic mortal bodies.

He took control of Cyrus robot legs.

Overlord: I want my own back. Find me more power! Find me the Golden Ninja!

Pixal: By my computation, your primary duty should be finding the Techno Blades. They are the only things that can-

Overlord: Those ninja don't even know what they already possess. I want the Golden one.

Pixal: Nindroids have no current visual on him.

Overlord: They just don't know where to look.

He turned to Wu, who was strapped down to a table.

Wu: I'll never tell you where they're hiding.

Overlord: You might not, but your memories will.

He searched his memories. And Wu laughed.

Wu: It tickles.

Overlord: It's only a matter of time until your mind tells me everything.

Wu: Never.

In another part of Ninjago were the ninja hiding their vehicles with leafs.

Lloyd: Aah. This is a perfect place to lay low. No robots, no cameras, no problems.

Nya: Still, if any aerial drones pass overhead, you better wear this.

She tossed him a Techno gi.

Nya: It will scramble their signal so they can't find you.

He put it on.

Lloyd: Yeah, this is sweet.

Misako: Lloyd?

Lloyd: Mom?

Misako: Oh. What are you all doing here?

Lloyd: The Overlord's back and New Ninjago City has fallen under his control. He has Sensei Wu.

Misako put a hand on his shoulder.

Misako: Wu's tough. There's a reason he's lived as long as he has.

Lloyd: Well, where's Dad?

Kai: Yeah, where is Garmadon? Haven't seen him since the final battle.

Misako: He has became Sensei Garmadon at his own school, and he won't be back until this evening's lesson.

Jay: Uh, did you just say, Sensei Garmadon?

Zane: I'm glad he's on our side now. With Sensei Wu gone, we could use the help.

Misako: Come in, but your weapons are not allowed. Ever since Lloyd saved his father, Garmadon sworn an oath to never fight in hope to make up for his evil past. It's an oath he takes very seriously.

Cole: But we're supposed to protect these with our lives.

Jay: And never let them out of our sight.

Zane: You guys go on ahead, I will stay back and watch over them.

The ninja gave him their Techno Blades.

Cole: Haha, yeah!

Kai: Thanks, Zane.

Jay: You're awesome.

Cole: You're the best.

Jay: See ya.

Zane sighed as he watched the others leave to Garmadon's monastery. Some kids were playing ball and Kai chaught it. They then ran up to the ninja.

Cole: Ah, at least there's some places left in this world I'm still considered cool.

Kai tried to give their ball back, but the kids ran up to Lloyd instead.

Boy #1: Oh, wow!

Boy #2: It's the Green Ninja.

Jay: Nope, still totally lame.

They walked up to the kids. Misako saw Cole looking between Kai and the ring box.

Misako: Having it hard to propose?

Cole: Yeah, I really love him and he loves me. But when I'm trying, I get scared and nervous that he says no. And end up messing up or something comes between.

Misako giggled.

Misako: Garmadon was the same when he proposed to me, but it didn't stop him. And it shouldn't stop you either. Just follow your heart.

Cole took in Misako's words. Later at nightfall were the ninja sitting down with the other students for training. They gasped when they saw Garmadon's shadow with four arms. But it turned out to be someone else, who opened the door for him.

Garmadon: Ah, my son. So glad you could join us.

Lloyd: Hey, it's been a while, Father.

Jay whisperd to Cole.

Jay: Check out the new Sensei. Looking sharp.

Garmadon: Silence!

He hit him with his staff.

Jay: Ow!

Garmadon: Close your mouth and open your ears. Tonight's lesson is the Art of the Silent Fist. To fight without fighting. May I have a volunteer?

Lloyd: How about me?

Nya: The Ultimate Battle: Round Two!

Garmadon: Attack me. But please, no powers. I happen to like my monastery.

The kids laughed. Lloyd charged at him, but Garmadon dogged, which made him run into a table.

Garmadon: You see, the key is balance. Let your opponent fight himself.

He dogged more of Lloyd's attacks.

Garmadon: Let the enemy tire himself.

Lloyd was ready to attack. Garmadon just yawnd then doged and made Lloyd slam into a support column. The ninja winched.

Ninja: Oh!

Garmadon: Pupils, I give you the most powerful ninja in all the land, the Golden Ninja.

The kids laughed, but the ninja facepalmed.

Lloyd summoned an Energy ball.

Garmadon: Easy, son. It is only a lesson.

Lloyd calmed down.

Lloyd: Sorry, I don't know what got into me.

Garmadon: You let the anger take over. I know that feeling well. Now, let's divide into groups.

Kai paired up with Jay and hit him.

Jay: Ow!

Garmadon: Perfect.

Outside, Zane gasped when he noticed that the Techno Blades was gone. He then saw a figure ran away and chased them. Quickly he pinned them down. It was Pixal.

Zane: What? Pixal? What are you doing?

Pixal: Discontinuing an old droid.

She freed herself and attacked. But Zane managed to fight back.

Zane: You may call me old, but not slow.

He tied her to a tree. And she screamed. The others heard it.

Kai: The Techno Blades!

They ran out and saw Zane leading Pixal to the monastery.

Cole: It's Pixal. But how did she find us?

Jay: How about we take her apart to find out?

Zane stopped him.

Zane: Please, she was only doing what she was programmed to do. She may hold many answers, but perhaps there is an easier way.

He activated his Techno Blade.

Garmadon: No. I-

Kai: Don't worry sensai. It's not a weapon, it only hacks into things.

Zane used his techno blade to turn Pixal normal again.

Pixal: Where am I? Why am I tied up?

Zane: You were under the control of the Overlord. How did you find us?

Pixal: They've mined Sensei Wu's memory. The Overlord knows all of your hiding places.

Garmadon: My brother. Is he...is he okay?

Pixal: Yes, but the Overlord wants your son. His Golden Power is the only way he can escape the digital realm and become real.

Kai: Why did Borg give us the Techno Blades to protect? Why are they so important?

Pixal: Because together, they can reboot the system, wipe the master computer clean, and destroy the Overlord virus for good.

Jay: Wow.

Cole: Cool.

Pixal then gasped.

Nya: What is it?

Pixal: I didn't come alone.

Jay: Uh, who else is with you?

Pixal: Nindroids.

All: Nindroids?

Jay: Where are they? I don't see any of them.

The Nindroids reveald themselves.

Pixal: Five versus eighteen. Probability of survival too low to quantify.

They started to fight but the nindroid were a hard match.

Jay: These Nindroids are so much fast-

He got hit in the face by a Nindroid.

Cole got kicked too.

Cole: Nice kick. Now see mine. Ninja, go!

Zane got surrounded by them. Lloyd was about to use his powers but Nya stopped him.

Nya: No! Your power only strengthens them.

He used spinjitsu and picked up Zane. Nya saw nindroids using jetbacks.

Nya: We need to get out of here.

They ran but the nindroids were right behind them.

Nindroid: We've got you now.

Jay: Anyone want to clear a path?

Cole then saw a water wheel.

Cole: Yeah, I've got an idea.

They used the water wheel to "escape" on their vehicles.

Nindroid: Attack!

They went after the vehicles but what they didn't know was that the ninja were in the water wheel all the time.

Cole: Won't be long until they figure out we used autopilot. We should get a move on.

Garmadon: I'm coming with you. If the Overlord wants my son, I'm not letting him out of my sight.

Misako: I'll stay and look after the monastery.

Lloyd: Wait. If he wants me, and the Techno Blades are the only things that can stop him, shouldn't we split up, just in case?

Nya: Good thinking. Zane's Falcon knows the secret location of my Samurai X Cave.

Kai: You and your father go and take what you need to get as far away from us as possible.

Jay: Secret cave? I thought we knew everything about each other. But wait, how does Kai know about it.

Nya: Well, a girl's gotta have her secrets.

Kai: And siblings don't keep secrets from eachother.

Jay: Makes sense.

Lloyd: What are you guys gonna do? Those Nindroids aren't gonna let you step one foot into the city.

Jay: Yeah, Nya. What are we gonna do?

Nya: We're gonna shut down the power.

The Nindroids caught up to the ninja's vehicles and Cryptor was talking to Overlord.

Overlord: What do you mean they're not there?

Cryptor: We've been tricked.

Overlord: Your Nindroids have failed, General Cryptor, but my next creation won't.

He showed him the Nindroid MechDragon. They soon were looking for the ninja. They even looked through a circus train.

Magician: Hehe, no ninja. Wanna check up my sleeves?

Nindroid: You can go.

Driver: Thank you.

He drove off. And the ninja, except Zane and Pixal, jumped out of a box. A clown honked his horn next to Jay, annoying him.

Magician: We can get you just outside of the Storm Farms, but you'll have to get to the power substation on your own. Good luck, and abracadabra!

He and the clown disappeared using a smoke screen.

Jay: Show off.

Cole: So, Nya, shutting down this power substation. Can we really destroy the Overlord and his Nindroids by simply flipping a switch?

Nya: Cripple them, yes. Destroy, no. Once we've powered down his army, we still need to reboot the central computer with the Techno Blades. And don't forget, since he knows we have them, they aren't gonna let us just waltz in.

Jay: Whoa! Wait a minute, if shutting down the power turns off everything connected to it, wouldn't that mean Pixal too?

Cole: Well, if Zane hasn't figured it out, don't tell him. If we're going to come across more Nindroids, we need to be on our A game.

Kai: Speaking of which, where is Zane?

Pixal was fixing up Zane in another cart.

Zane: Thank you for repairing me. I guess an old Nindroid like me is no match against the newer models.

Pixal: This is just one of my primary functions. Gratitude is not required.

She then opened a hatch on Zane and saw his power source.

Pixal: Fascinating.

Zane: What is it?

Pixal: Your power source. It's a technology I'm unfamiliar with. Your father built you with spare parts, yet this piece, it's unique. Perhaps if I take a closer look.

She touched it, but it shocked Zane.

Pixal: I'm sorry, I caused you pain. I was curious to understand why you are so different.

Zane: We're all different. But I don't feel so different around you.

Pixal blushed a little.

Pixal: I am not different. I am P.I.X.A.L., the Primary Interactive X-ternal Assistant Life-form. And your repairs are complete.

With Lloyd and Garmadon.

The Falcon screeched as it landed on top of a skeleton with a x on it.

Lloyd: The Samurai X symbol.

He pushed a button and the door opened. He and Garmadon walked inside.

Lloyd: Whoa! How did Nya have time to build all this? Maybe I should've been a Samurai instead.

Garmadon saw a vehicle with alot of weapons on.

Garmadon: Why must everything have so many weapons?

Lloyd: Says the man who had four arms to possess the Golden Weapons.

Garmadon: Haha, I deserved that.

Lloyd was about to jump on but Garmadon stopped him.

Garmadon: I swore off fighting, not driving. Yee-haw!

They jumped on.

Lloyd: Where to now?

Garmadon: As far away as possible.

They drove of. The train was almost at the power farm. Cole walked into a cart where Kai was.

Cole: Hey Kai. How's our kids.

Kai smirked at him.

Kai: Our kids?

Cole then realised what he said.

Cole: I mean our students. We don't have kids and we're not even...

Kai chuckled.

Kai: Take it easy Cole. I'm just teasing. Dareth's looking after the students. You don't have to worry.

Cole: Okay. Cool. Anyway. This adventure was unexpected.

Kai: Yeah. Who would have thought this would happen. I mean we've fought skeletons, snakes and a stone army. Yet we're still surprised by this.

Cole: Yeah. Uh, Kai.

Kai: Yes.

Cole: Well you see, I've been thinking about our relationship and I...

Kai: Wait. You're not breaking up with me are you?

Cole: No! No! I would never do that. Kai I was wondering if you. You don't have to but. Well...

Just then Jay came in.

Jay: Guys get ready, we're here.

Kai: We better get ready. You can tell me later.

Kai kissed Cole's cheek and walked out. Jay realised what he did.

Jay: Cole, I'm sorry.

Cole: It wasn't your fault. I chickened out again.

Jay: You know what. After we've shout down the power I'm gonna get you ready for your proposel.

Cole smiled at his best friends.

Cole: Thanks Jay.

They went outside. The sky was full of lightning. One lighting strike startled Pixal.

Pixal: Aah!

Zane grabbed her hand.

Zane: Careful. They farm the electricity that's in the air. This is where all of Ninjago gets their power.

He soon realized that he held her hand and let go. They both blushed.

Kai: Looks like we have a welcoming party.

They then saw that the farm was guarded by nindroids.

Nya: The only chance we have of getting in there is to stay out of sight. There's no way we can take them all on.

Jay: You mean we get to be ninja for a change? Whoo-hoo!

Pixal: I'll stay back. I'm not built for stealth and cannot assist you.

Zane: Be safe and stay out of trouble. I'll see you later.

They started to head to the tower. There was Cryptor talking to the other nindroids.

Cryptor: Keep your eyes out for ninja. The Overlord says they are sure to be coming.

He suddenly saw a relatively short Nindroid.

Cryptor: Look at you, last one off the factory line? Ran out of metal, eh? I will call you Min-Droid.

Everyone laughed as they walked away. The ninja took the opportunity to sneak in.

Nya: That's the substation's core. Shut that down, and it's lights out for the Overlord. Now if only we knew which switch.

Jay pressed a button and the weekend whip started to play.

Music: We say, go go! You're gonna see us rip into it. We just jump up kick back whip around and spin-

Jay: Hey, I love this song.

Kai rolled his eyes.

Kai: Turn it off! They can't know we're here.

Jay: Pfft. Buzz kill.

Kai turned towards him.

Kaya: What was that?

Jay: Nothing. Nothing.

He turned the music off before Kai got more mad.

Cole: None of these buttons are doing anything. There has to be an easier way.

Kai: Yeah, like maybe just hack the system?

He tried to break the power source's glass, but failed.

Kaya: Argh. Nope. Bad idea.

Cole: Are you okay?

Kai: Yeah. Maybe you should try.

Cole: Okay.

He tried but it didn't work for him either.

Cole: Nope didn't work.

Outside was Min-droid hearing Jay and Cole.

Jay: Button, button, who's got the button?

Cole: Be quiet.

Jay: I am being quiet. You be quiet.

Min-Droid alerted the others of the ninja's presence.

Cryptor: Ninja!

Pixal saw the nindroids heading towards the ninja.

Pixal: The ninja have been discovered. Operation jeopardized. Calculating probability of success to affecting outcome by-Oh, who cares about probability?

She ran and used a grapple hook to get up.

Cryptor: Knock, knock.

Pixal landed but accidentally activated the alarms. The ninja saw on the cameras

Nya: Nindroids! Our cover is blown! Seal the doors and find a way to shut it down.

Zane saw Pixal on the cameras.

Zane: Pixal! Don't seal the door. I'm going out there.

Jay: Are you crazy? We barely fixed you up the last time you fought them.

Zane: You didn't fix me, she did.

Zane ran out, but Min-Droid managed to get in.

Jay: Argh! Great. Now they come in fun size!

Meanwhile

Lloyd and Garmadon took a break, but then they spotted the MechDragon.

Garmadon: We need to go. Now!

Lloyd jumped into the vehicle.

Garmadon: Come on, start!

Lloyd used his power to start it. They drove fast but the mechdragon was right behind.

Lloyd: Argh! He's gaining on us.

Garmadon: Well maybe this thing has an afterburner.

He pressed a button, but instead of more speed. It fired at the MechDragon.

Garmadon: Curse these weapons.

On the tower was Zane fighting the nindroids.

Zane: Ninja, go!

He saw Cryptor holding Pixal around her throat and tried to hit him with his techno blade. But Cryptor caught it.

Cryptor: The original Nindroid. You're nothing more than a tin can with feelings.

Cryptor threw Zane so he lost the Blade. They fought but then Cryptor turned inviceble.

Pixal: Zane, watch out!

Cryptor hit Zane and knocked him to the ground. He then turned viceble again.

Cryptor: Welcome to the future.

Inside the tower was Min-Droid starting to attack the ninja.

Kai: Hack him with the Techno Blade.

Cole tried but he couldn't.

Cole: Argh! I'm trying! I gotta hand it to the little runt. He doesn't know when to quit.

Min-Droid: Quit?

He fired at Cole, but he dogged and it cracked the power source's glass.

Kai: Ah, that's it. Fight without fighting!

Jay: This is no time for a lesson, Kai!

Kai stood infront of the source.

Kai: Hey, Half Pint! Over here! Whoa!

Min-droid shot at him but hit the glass instead.

Kai: We need to provoke him more.

Cole: Or more Nindroids. Nya, open the door!

Nya: I see where you're headed.

She opened the door and more Nindroids fired at them, they ended up cracking the glass.

Nya: It's working!

The MechDragon was still chasing Garmadon and Lloyd.

Lloyd: Look out!

They managed to dogg it's attacks.

Garmadon: This is why I took an oath of peace!

The droids were still shooting at the ninja. Just then Min-Droid kicked the glass open, and got caught in the power source.

Min-Droid: Uh, oh.

The power source exploded. The city power shout down, together with the Mech Dragon. Garmadon and Lloyd cheered.

Lloyd: Yeah! All right!

In New Ninjago city were citizens cheering too.

Kai: We did it!

They walked out and saw Pixal in Zane's arms.

Pixal: This is why I wanted to stay back. So you would not s-s-see this.

Zane: You knew this would happen?

Pixal: Your mission was important. I-I was not. I am to assist. I assisted.

Zane: You're using up your reserve. Don't say anything more until we find you more power.

Pixal: You've destroyed the only power source in Ninjago. Power will all be nonexistent. We are not so different, are we? We are compatible?

Zane: Yes, yes we are.

Pixal smiled and then shout down. The others walked up to him. Kai and Nya put their hands on his shoulders.

Lloyd climbed out of the vehicle.

Lloyd: Do you think it's safe to go back?

Garmadon: They may have turned off the power, but they still need to reboot the system. Until we know the Overlord is gone for good, we need to keep moving.

The two continued on foot.
