(Finale part 1, technical filler chapter)

Alex is full term. I'm lazy. Leave me alone lol.

Alex POV.

F*CK. PREGNANCY. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE FATHER IS 6'0.

"I look like a whaaaaale!" I whine.

"No you don't Darlin'.." Thomas said, putting his hands on my shoulders.

"Real rich coming from the person who put the baby in me!"

I know he's trying but my hormones aren't having it today. I cried twice. The second time is now but I cried the first time because I had to wake up. But no one blamed me for that, especially Queen Sierra.

"Sorry sorry.." Thomas chuckled.

"Yeah yeah kiss my ass."I snapped, ruffling his curls.

"Now why would I do that when I co-"

"You made your point. Don't finish that sentence."

I laid back on the bed, sighing and rubbing my tummy. Thomas moves flyaways from my face.

"Have they kicked recently?"

I nod.

"He's been kicking really hard lately."

"He?"

"Mhm, just a feeling."

All of a sudden a handmaiden came in.

"Your Grace, the queen sent a present!"

She holds up two dress looking things.

"..Maternity wear?"

"Technically yes. The white one is for when you go into labor, Your Grace."

"..Ah."

I shrug. I've worn something like that in the past. Just...in shirt form.. oh well.

"Oooookay.." I say, taking both.. dresses..

Thomas shrugged.

"Just think of them as.. long shirts that you don't have to wear pants with."

"I can barely put pants on anyway so that oddly makes me feel better. Also.. should we find out the baby's gender or..?"

Thomas scratched the back of his neck.

Thomas POV

"Well do you want to?" I ask

Alex looks down at his stomach and shrugs.

"I don't know, I'd be happy with either, as long as they're healthy and alive of course." He said, smiling and looking back up at me. I smile back at him. This sweet sentiment has been interrupted by my mother. Yay.

"Hello there~!" She chipped happily.

"Alexander, have you tried on the maternity gowns?" She asked.

"Not yet, we're deciding if we want to find out the baby's gender or not." He explains, sitting back down next to me. "I think it's a boy on how hard they're kicking-" he chuckled.

"Did Thomas not tell you?" She asked. I realized what she was talking about.

Shit.

"Erm.. Mom I do-"

"Tell me what?" Alex interrupted.

"Celestials usually know the sex of the baby when they hear the heartbeat get louder."She said, smiling. I see Alex looking at me, confused. I sigh quietly and nod. My mother picks up on the notion that I have NOT told him I could do that. She clears her throat then slowly leaves the room.

"Alex-"

"You could've known this whole time?!" He asks, annoyed. I nod hesitantly.

"I-I didn't find out because I didn't know if it's what you wanted." I respond, scratching the back of my neck.

"So you can tease me about it for 3 months? Hell no..! But.. since I'm due in a few weeks you might as well.." he sighed. I smiled

"Yey~!"

"If you tease me for it I will chop your dick off. And I am fully aware it takes hours to regenerate." He glared at me.

"Yeah yeah.."

Alex POV

Thomas gets near me,hesitantly raising a hand towards my stomach. I pull it gently and place it on me. Jesus I forgot how big his hands were.

"Darlin this might make you sleepy-"

"Ooookay?"

His hand starts glowing a pretty purple. I look up at him and see his eyes light up. He sniffles and smiles, leaning into my shoulder.

"Tommy? Is something wrong?"

"N-No not at all."

I sigh

"Okay fine you can tell me.." I yawn.

"You sure?"

"..No-"

He chuckled then gave me a quick peck on the lips. I lean into him, feeling my eyes get droopy.

Thomas POV

I chuckle at the sight of Alex's sleepy face, I kiss his forehead and help him lay on his side as he drifts out of consciousness. I lay next to him, keeping my hand on his stomach, smiling softly.

"C-Can you tell me..?" He whispers. I kiss his forehead.

"I can't say anything."

He pouts.

"Except that SHE'LL be a heathy child. Okay?" Alex looks confused, well considering he's mostly sleep. I'll just leave him be.

"...Huh..?"

"..Go to sleep Alex."

Almost on command he did.
