the little brunette stared outside the window.
his cold hands supporting his head as his lips turn cold.
puffs of air escape through his lips and creating fog on the glass.

lifting his shaky finger, the brunette moves his finger.
drawing different shapes on the fog, a little smile plays on his lips.
his smile soon fades when he sees the first few drops of rain.

soon, it became heavier and he shivers violently.
he hears the rain hitting and splattering on the ground.
the loud echoes of the droplets murdering the roof.

loud, wet and heavy footsteps could be heard from the outside.
the little boy glanced down the window and saw his step father.
he shivered as fear crawled through his veins.

the door flew open.
it swung heavily as the footsteps become heavier.
his scary voice entered Tae's ears.

"taehyung?"

his voice sounded eerily happy.
in fear, tae answered.

"y-yes?"

"come down here this instant."

tae stood up on shaky legs.
making his way down the hard stairs, a familiar smell invades his lungs.
the brunette grimaced and scrunched up his nose at the horrible stench of alcohol.

with small steps, he finally stands in front of him.
the man grinned.
a small glint of happiness and anger sparked in his bottomless orbs.

"how was school?"

tae was taken aback by the question.
he had never been nice.
never.

"i-it was alright."

"did you get your test results?"

"y-yes."

"well?"

tae gulped.
his adam's apple bobbed up and down.
he opens his dry lips to answer.

"all a's and a b for economics."

the man growled angrily.
a loud ringing echoed in the brunette's ears.
feeling dizzy and seeing stars, he realised that he had been hit.

"fucking bitch, you couldn't even get all a's?"

another strong punch landed at his stomach.
more kicks and punches.
the pain stopped and tae, who was laying on the floor, heard the belt buckle.

the sound of rain still the background to this horrible day.
the heavy belt buckle hit his frail body.
tae screamed in agony.

"shut up!"

another hit from the belt buckle.
and another.
and another, and that sent his straight to darkness.

waking up, the rain still poured heavily.
tae shivered in pain as he stood up.
painfully moving his legs, he scanned the area.

noticing his step father asleep on the recliner.
tae sighs in relief as he moved carefully to the stairs.
limping towards his room, tears stream down his face.

into his bathroom the little brunette goes.
he slid down his door and sobbed into his tiny hands.
with shaky hands, tae reached for the blade.

he held it above his already wrecked wrist.
lifted with cuts, tae cries even more.
he pressed it into his wrist as Tae hissed.

the thick crimson liquid seeped through his cuts.
basking in the beautiful sight of the liquid, tae smiles slightly.
his tears robbing his sight as he quickly washed his cuts.

tae hisses painfully as the water caresses his skin.
sloppily wrapping the medical tape around them, tae sinks into his bed.
the rain still pouring lulling him to sleep as nightmares bring him back to reality.

tae blinks as he adjusts to the sudden light.
he feeling a pair of lips in his forehead.
the younger looks up with tears in his eyes.

"are you alright baby?" yoongi asks in concern.

"i-i'm okay." tae croaks out and nuzzles his face into yoongi chest.

yoongi sighs sadly but softly and tightens his hold on tae's waist.
bring tae closer to him, yoongi rubs tae's back.
tae lifts his head up and is met with the chapped pair of lips.

yoongi moves his lips and guides tae up into his lap.
the grey haired male hugs his arms around yoongi's neck and kisses back.
both boys pouring their emotions for each other in the kiss.

pulling away, they smile.
tae rests his flushed face into yoongi's chest.

"i love you so much baby. i'll always be here for you alright?" yoongi pecks tae's forehead.

"i love you too hyungie. thank you, i'll also be here for you." tae pecks yoongi's chest.

a stray tear leaves his eye and he buries his face deeper into his lover's chest.
