Part 15

Arnav and Khushi's marriage was the talk of the entire friend circle.

Khushi's friends said, "I know it before itself, something was there between them".

Arnav friends were happy as he found his life partner.

As Shyam and Akash had the same circle of friends, their friends were hesitant to talk anything in front of them. Shyam was hell embarrassing to handle the situation. He could feel their friends were not that much upset about Khushi's marriage with Arnav as they witnessed Rathika's "generous mind" when Khushi was being kidnapped. That's what killed Akash. He was frustrated when his own friends were not supported him.

He thought in someday Guptas would come back to him as they have no other choice. Because he knew about the "society talks". He expected that Guptas will regret their refusal. But he never thought that Khushi will get the best suitor then him. That too so soon. Yes, he knew Arnav is better than him because Khushi will be independent if she marries Arnav. Especially there is no such a mother-in-law like Rathika to taunt Khushi. He was more disturbed not just because Khushi refused him but she got Arnav instead of him. His MALE DOMINATION mind was not tolerating that Khushi winning over him.

Even Rathika didn't expect this twist. She knew that she will never get the best Bahu than Khushi though being a typical mother-in-law, her EGO didn't allow her to admit the fact. And she feared to see Akash was so much into Khushi. She thought in some days Akash will lose himself in Khushi seeing her best qualities which she couldn't let to happen. So she started searching flaws in everything. But now she was nervous seeing Akash was showing disinterest in everything. He stopped talking to anyone. He prefers to be all alone. Adding to it he was getting ready to go out of town which shook Radhika to the core. Akash was not ready to listen to her anymore. He went to Mumbai as he could not see Khushi happy with someone else.

Marriage day.

This time Gupats were so vigilant about everything. Even Shyam's friends acted like a troop. Shashi and Garima were confirming Khushi's presence second by second. Preeto called all their friends and never left Khushi's side at least for a second. Arnav also was edgy.

He saw Khushi was coming towards the stage where he was waiting. He could see her hands were shivering. She sat beside him. Arnav tied Mangal Sutra around her neck making her "HIS" forever. He filled her partition with vermillion which is going to say his NAME for her entire life. Within few minutes they completed PHARAS and Panditji announced them as HUSBAND and WIFE.

"This is what God's wish" that was the sentence that roamed around the marriage hall. It brought a smile in our newly wedded couple's face while peace to Guptas. Shyam also made up himself and cheered his sister.

Guptas cried at the time of BIDHAI but we could say it's all happy tears. because Khushi was settling down in her life which had been the biggest question mark a few days ago. Manorama circled the Thali and welcomed newly wedded couple into RM.

Manorama: Arnav betuwa please don't take me wrong. As all our work got completed, let us go home.

Arnav: But Maasi...

Manohar: Han Arnav Betuwa... you know how did we come here. We have came here straight away from Dwaraka. We don't even know what's our house condition is. We will try to make it possible another day. Now please try to understand.

NK: Naanav, say yes and enjoy your day with Bhabi... He teased.

Arnav looked at Khushi who was trying hard to avoid his gaze.

Manorama: Khushi beta, you and Arnav should come to our home. Make yourself comfortable here. I will call you soon. Ok?

Khushi nodded ok.

Raizadas took leave from Arnav and Khushi after GRAHAPRAVESH and some other needed rituals. They left everything as it is in the hurry of marriage.

That was the time Arnav and Khushi left all alone to do things on their own. Arnav was little taken aback seeing "the decorated bed". Khushi smiled at him who was sitting in the middle of the bed. He was surprised seeing Khushi who didn't look nervous. He thought it will be a big deal to make her feel easy. Is she the same Khushi who came to his home that day as a friend? He could feel that she came out of her stress which was visible in her face in the morning at the marriage venue. She might be thinking about her broken marriage at that time.

An unknown tension clouded in his mind. How should he take their relationship to the next level? Is it still a friendship? How Khushi feels about it? He saw Khushi in heavy Lehanga.

Arnav: Khushi go and change your dress. It seems heavy.

Khushi nodded ok and went to the washroom taking her dress. Arnav got changed in the bedroom itself. He laid on the bed in a relaxing manner. He felt really relaxed. He turned his head towards the side where Khushi's bags were placed. She has come to "his house" finally and wholly. This is going to be "their home" from now onwards. He smiled thinking that. Khushi who came out from the washroom had seen him smiling. He sat up hurriedly.

Khushi: So much of respect is not needed Arnav.( She chuckled) I'm sure you can't follow this for entire life as I'm going to be here with you forever.

Really it made Arnav's face brighter.

Arnav(smilingly): My actions may change in upcoming days doesn't mean I'm not respecting you.

Khushi: Good to hear. Let's see.

Arnav took a blanket and went to coach. Khushi raised her eyebrows seeing him doing that.

Khushi: Hey, where are you going?

Arnav(hesitatingly): To the coach.

Khushi: But why?

Arnav: Just to make you feel free Khushi.

Khushi: who said I won't feel free if you share the bed?

Arnav: but...

Khushi: Trust me I won't swallow you as I'm full today. 

She teased.

Arnav(smirking): So will you swallow me tomorrow?

Khushi: It depends upon my mood. Now come and sleep on the bed or else I will go back to my Mayka. 

She said keeping her hands on her hip.

Arnav shocked hearing that. Khushi smiled at his expression.

Khushi: Try switching from friend to husband.

She was lying on the bed covering her by the quilt. Arnav who stood there like idol was thinking about her last sentence gulping. How could he say he never thought her as his friend? Now he is not brave enough to approach her as a husband?

He couldn't believe that he got the same girl as his wife whom he loved the most. Her smile which makes him forget everything is going to be HIS. Life becomes HEAVEN if we get our LOVE in hands. He lay down on the bed silently looking at his newly wedded WIFE who was his friend until yesterday.
