With a book in one hand,

And coffee in the other,

I'm set to visit another land.

Where dreams and mysteries I will uncover

My Journey into the new world starts today,

In this room I'll no more stay.

I will feel all kinds of magic,

And cry if the end is tragic.

People can no longer control me,

I proudly say, I'm overwhelmed with glee!

Hogwarts and Narnia will be my home

And in the pages of these books,

I'll build my tomb.

In these world's I'll never grow old,

These inked remnants of trees,

Alas! They are gold!

No luggage or weapons

I've taken with me,

Just my glasses to help me see,

In these lands no one will judge,

I'll sit with my book and won't budge!

I will dream for hours on end,

With the characters, I will blend.

Already written is my fate,

In these books that are filled with joy and hate.

In this world I'll always stay,

And I won't come out, even if you pray!

With a book in my hand,

I'm all set for an adventure,

Magic and heroes it will feature !
