Darling, when you feel I'm doubting —
Could you please understand me?
I was torn and devastated then
I'm scared, if I suffer repeatedly.

Darling, when you feel I'm hallucinating —
Could you please wake me up?
Stop the nightmares I'm freaking
Let your affection brighten me up.

Darling, when you witness me crying —
Could you please console me?
Never assume I'm overreacting
However, hear my statement and plea.

Darling, when you see me screaming? —
Could you please appease me?
I'm troubled — if my heart will be played again
Comfort me with your love uprightly.

Darling, when I'm out of your control
Could you remind me to pray earnestly?
'Cause there's a tug of war inside of good and evil
Exhort me that wickedness cannot overtake me.

Consider me like a vibrant linen cloth
Delicate to wash, yet durable and smooth
Refrain from blending me with dark, thick fabrics
For I might be stained or deformed; I'm not elastic.

As I rebuild my trust, don't humiliate me
It's like I'm building a sand castle; please be trustworthy
I am persuaded that you are a heaven-sent to me
Help me, save me, together let's walk faithfully.
