"Hey Jin!" Hoseok called as he entered the kitchen. Seokjin emerged from the back area of the cooking facility with a bowl in hand, eyes wide when seeing his friend.

"Is she here? Do you need me to take over?" Seokjin wondered, smiling on anticipation.

Hoseok shook his head. "No, she isn't. I have a single order for you."

Seokjin lifted his arm to check the time on his watch. "She's a little late, isn't she?"

Hoseok was aware of this, but didn't want to make a fuss about it. "I mean, yeah but..."

"But? But, you don't want to get stood up by a blind date that a dating app set up, do you? That would be hideous to admit to." Seokjin chuckled in second hand embarrassment.

Hoseok sighed. "You know some things aren't meant to be, and she could be one of them."

Seokjin shook his head while preparing to make the requested order. "Okay, true, but if you get stood up by someone you haven't even met, what does that tell you?"

"That I'm boring as hell and if a blind date doesn't want to know me then what hope is there?" Hoseok admitted while the pain of his honesty pierced him.

"No. It means the woman you are looking for is not on some dating app. You should go out and meet people and not hide behind your phone screen." Seokjin suggested as he ruffled with ingredients to make the order. "Tell you what, we need a guy's night! We'll hit up the night life this weekend if your blind date bails on you."

Hoseok frowned. "It was your idea in first place!" He exclaimed.

Jin's eyes widened. "Hey! I was trying to help! You're the one who came to me with desperate eyes, crying 'no one wants to date me.' You were a cry for help."

Hoseok cut his stare away. "Whatever." He gritted.

"Listen, if it doesn't work out, we'll just do the old-fashioned way. Besides, I need a night too."

Debating the words of his best friend, Hoseok grinned. "We'll see Jin."

"Speaking of the guys," Seokjin began. "Are they here yet?"

"Taehyung and Jimin are at a table. I think Jungkook works late and I'm not sure about Joon and Yoongi." Hoseok answered.

"Joon and Yoongi texted, but I guess you didn't see. They are here. I'll send them a double order out." Seokjin stated.

Hoseok nodded. "Cool! Now if you will excuse me, I must get back to work or my boss won't pay me." He teased.

"Hey!" Seokjin called. "Remember what I said if she doesn't show."

"Yeah, yeah." Hoseok mumbled as he left the kitchen.
