"A night like any other night." He chanted as he cleaned a bar glass and placed it alongside the others. Though his phrase sounded simple enough, the thoughts behind them weren't.

Tonight was the same as any other slow night, filled with regulars who visited after the tedious work hours of their day. They consumed drinks and made conversations with others, complaining or praising whichever fate blessed them with on the day.

His routine was like any other, showing professionalism and personality to the ones who trickled in. While occasionally, he watched the surroundings, making sure that no one was out of hand and was pleasant.

In this account, being at the bar was like any other night.

However, after dealing with one too many failed relationships, the bar was an easy distraction to get over his troubles. Working for his best buddy and helping him out when he was available was better than facing defeat. Though troubled, he maybe, but a quitter he wasn't.

So much that he allowed Seokjin, his trusted ally, and owner of the place where he's spending his distractions, talk him into signing up on a dating app.

At first, there was a minor hesitation, but after spending an hour highlighting the pros and cons of this attempt, he went with it.

A month in, nothing came into fruition.

"Hobi hyung, tonight is the night, right?" Seokjin's cousin Jimin called to him. "How do you feel?"

Nervous! The word blared in Hoseok's conscience, but he just smiled at the younger gentleman. "I'm looking forward to it."

"You are? If it were me, I'd be a nervous wreck. It's frightening enough to meet someone, but you're doing it without even seeing a photo." Jimin stated.

Hobi wasn't having much success on the app, so he tried the blind date feature the app recently developed, where they crossed referenced profiles to make a match.

"I'm willing to try new things." Hoseok grinned.

"Good luck." Jimin nodded. "May I have my usual?"

Hoseok prepared Jimin's drink and handed it to him. Jimin lifted the glass, relaying cheers to the bartender. A slight smile hovered Hoseok's lips before he turned his attention to the other patrons.
