-Miku's POV-
"Ew, look! It's little miss leek lover!" I heard Meiko say upon my merely entering the class. As always, I kept my head down, and plopped into my desk. "So, how's the pop star life you will never have?" Kaito sneered. "Ha! Good one." Luka cheered. Head down. Take bag off. Grab pencil. I couldn't stop myself from gasping slightly as Meiko slammed her fist on my desk, brown eyes staring at me. "You going to say something or what?" I was scared, but I couldn't look at her, not if I valued my life. Right when I thought it wouldn't matter, another voice spoke up. "Guys, leave Miku alone." Everyone in the class turned to its owner. "Len, screw off." "Not even your sister supports your ideas!" "Stop pretending to care about Miku." "Yeah, banana loving freak!" "Probably wouldn't BE one if he actually ignored her." "Ha ha!" I began to feel the guilt seep into me. They shouldn't be hurting Len because I am a freak! This would have gone on for a while longer if the teacher didn't arrive. I was never called on, as expected. Also expected, this repeats until lunch.

"Hey, Miku. Sorry you had to put up with all that... again." I turned to face Len. "No, I'm sorry YOU had to handle that! Its unfair that you have to suffer because I'm nothing but a monster!" I buried my face in my hands. I blushed slightly as Len tried to lift my chin up. His hands are warm... "Miku, don't say that! Your not a-" he stopped short, and looked at me. "What happened?" Oh. He must be referring to the large bandage around my head. "I was pushed into a sidewalk. Hard." Len gave me a serious look. "Your lying. You tried to do it again, didn't you?" His voice began to show sadness, and almost fear. Well. He is right. I let myself nod. Len grabbed my hands tightly, pulling me off guard. "Miku, please don't do it! You know, some people WOULD be sad if you died! I certainly would!" I stayed quiet, but slowly looked up to face Len. There are tears in his eyes... why is he crying? I pulled my hand loose to wipe his tears away. He gave me a small look of surprise. "M-Miku?" I leaned my head in slightly so my forehead would touch his. "Please don't cry... at least not for me." Len gave me a sad look. "I'm afraid I can't promise that. You see... I..." ~RRRRIIIINNNNGGGG~ I pulled away and looked up slightly. "Oh! The bell! Sorry, Len. I want to get a head start so maybe some of the bullies won't be there!" I ran to my next class. I had no idea what Len wanted to say.

The end of the day was much like the beginning, having to handle bullies, and feeling guilty because Len got hurt because of it. I was walking home on my usual, unknown route, when suddenly, I was grabbed by two people. "GAH!!!" I screamed, and looked over. Rin and Gumi. The two were usually bffs, and Rin was Len's older sister. "AH! WHAT ARE YOU... SOMEONE... HELP!!!" I was dragged into an alleyway, where there were two familiar faces. Kaito and Gakupo. "Thank you very much." Gakupo said to the girls, who threw me to a wall. "Ah-!" I screamed slightly, but was too scared to make any real noise. "You may leave." The purple-haired girl attracter said, causing the two to leave. Kaito gave me a villainous grin. "With the ladies gone this will be fun~!" I was trying to keep the fear inside me. What "fun"? What's going on? Help me! "Wonder how much she will scream when we start." Gakupo continued. I was trying really hard not to scream. "W-w-what d-do you mean... st-start?!" The blue haired male in front of me laughed, and edged closer to me. Too close. "You want to know?" He started unbuttoning my sweater. Thats when I realized what was happening. Oh god...

"Hey! You!" Gakupo suddenly got a fire extinguisher to the head. "HEY! YOU LITTLE TWERP! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!" "L-L-Len....?" "Let Miku go!" The blonde male threw Kaito into a wall, thus causing him to slam into the wall. Len picked the extinguisher back up again. "Leave. NOW." Kaito, terrified, ran for his life. That was when the emotions showed. Len grabbed me tightly, and he didn't even bother to make an attempt at holding back tears. "Miku! Are you alright? They didn't hurt you, did they? Please tell me I came on time!" I couldn't help but be slightly confused. Len was still crying for me... "Yes. I'm fine. Thank you." I pulled him into a hug, which he shakily returned. "T-thank god..." I could feel him sobbing into my shoulder, and I knew that now was probably a bad time to ask, but I decided to anyways. "One thing. Why do you keep crying for me? Im nothing but a simple friend." Len slowly tightened his grip around me. "Your more than that to me..." huh? "Hatsune Miku. I don't care if people spread rumors about you. I don't care about what I would put up with. I just don't. Because I... I... I love you, Miku." I couldn't stop myself from being shocked. Yet I slowly formed a smile. "I love you too.... Len...."

"..... thank you."
