When Jungkook wakes up the first thing he sees is Jimin's pouty lips. His puffy face is squished against the pillow and his small hands are balled into fists. Jungkook smiles at the adorable sight.
The room smells like sex and their mixed scents though Jimin's scent is still more prominent. Jungkook has never felt more relaxed than he does now. This is where he belongs, waking up next to Jimin.
He still isn't convinced he's not dreaming. He never thought they'd end up here. He was ready to give up after a month without hearing from Jimin. In the back of his mind he hoped that he and Jimin would work things out but the longer they stayed apart the harder it was to believe it would come true.
It's not smooth sailing just yet, there's a lot they need to figure out but Jungkook is happy.
He spends a long time just observing Jimin. His face was carved by angels. It's perfect in every way, from his gorgeous eyes to his small button nose and plump lips. Jungkook wants to pepper kisses all over his face. He doesn't in fear of waking him up.
Jungkook's thoughts quickly veer to last night's activities. The way Jimin looked underneath him, wet and desperate just for him. Jungkook regrets being so rough with him, he really wished he could have made it last. He wanted to worship Jimin's body and make him feel good in many different ways.
It's okay though, Jungkook can do that another time. Jimin's not going anywhere, he's giving Jungkook a chance.
Jungkook doesn't realize that his scent has become heavier until Jimin's small nose scrunches up cutely and his eyelids flutter open. When their eyes meet Jungkook beams at Jimin and slides an arm around his waist to bring him against his chest. Jimin mumbles something incoherent as he throws an arm around Jungkook's shoulders.
"Good morning, angel," Jungkook whispers against Jimin's forehead before leaving a kiss there.
"Why do you smell like that?" Jimin mumbles, running his fingers through Jungkook's hair lazily.
"Like what?" Jungkook pulls back to look at Jimin but his eyes are closed.
"Horny," Jimin licks his lips.
"I was thinking about last night," Jungkook chuckles and slides a hand under Jimin's shirt to caress his soft back. He can feel goosebumps rise on his skin and it makes him smile. Jimin's body is responsive to every little touch. It pleases his alpha a lot.
"Hm."
"Hm?" Jungkook raises an eyebrow in confusion. This could mean anything.
"It was good," Jimin smacks his lips together and opens his eyes. He smiles when he sees Jungkook's expression. "Don't look at me like that," he laughs before kissing the tip of Jungkook's nose.
"It was good?" Jungkook mocks. "Seriously, that's all you can come up with? I made you come twice."
"You remember?" Jimin smirks. He scratches Jungkook's scalp and it's very distracting. Jungkook's pretty sure he could fall back asleep like this.
"Of course I remember."
"You were so into it. You went all alpha on me."
Jungkook remembers how desperate he felt the whole time they had sex. His wolf took over during most of it but he didn't do anything he wouldn't have done himself. He is his wolf after all. His alpha instincts might not always agree with his human side but it's very rare. He might have been a little rougher than he'd like but Jimin usually likes it rough anyway.
"Didn't you like it?" Jungkook genuinely wants to know.
"I did," Jimin cups Jungkook's face and rubs a thumb over his cheek. "I loved it."
Jungkook's heart races every time Jimin looks at him the way he does. It's soft, fond and makes Jungkook feel special. No one's ever looked at him the way Jimin does and maybe that's why he's so addicted to him.
"I didn't hurt you?" Jungkook asks.
"No," Jimin says before smirking, "and if you did I liked it."
"Of course you did," Jungkook smirks back before pulling him into a kiss.
Jimin giggles against Jungkook's lips and it sends warmth straight to Jungkook's heart. Jungkook's never really thought about love in his twenty-one years of life. Of course he knew that one day he'd eventually find someone to teach him what love and heartbreak feels like, but he never really looked for it.
Jungkook doesn't think it's love he feels for Jimin just yet, but soon, he might understand what the fuss is all about. He cares about Jimin a lot, he thinks about him all the time and he's the first person he's willing to improve for. No one has ever had such an impact on Jungkook. Sometimes it scares him, but most of the time it's thrilling.
They break apart and smile at each other. Jimin looks content and Jungkook's certain he has a matching expression on his face. Jungkook bumps their noses together. It makes Jimin smile harder.
"I missed you so much," Jungkook whispers. He said it last night when they were having sex but he needs to say it again. It doesn't completely convey how it felt like to be away from Jimin but it's the best he can come up with.
"I missed you too," the hint of sadness in Jimin's eyes breaks Jungkook's heart.
"One month without you was hell. I couldn't stop thinking about you. I knew you were hurting and I wanted to do something about it but I couldn't. I felt so helpless."
"Jungkook," Jimin breathes out, stroking Jungkook's cheek with reverence. "My Jungkook," Jungkook's heart skips a beat, "only you would worry sick about someone who broke your heart."
Jimin's being sincere but it makes him chuckle. When Jimin says it like that it does sound strange but not out of character for Jungkook.
"I understand why you rejected me Jimin. I wasn't mad at you. I was just sad things had to be this complicated," Jungkook says, hand running up and down Jimin's back. "I was mad at Jungwoo for hurting you so much he made you lose faith in love."
"You and me both baby," Jimin chuckles but Jungkook can tell the mention of Jungwoo hurts him.
"I'll show you," Jungkook says determinedly. Jimin's eyebrows raise. "I'll show you things don't always have to be so hard. I'm here for you and I want to make this work."
"Don't make promises you can't keep Jeon Jungkook," Jimin whispers, fingers tangling in Jungkook's hair.
"I'll never treat you as badly as he did. That's a promise I know I can keep."
Jimin buries his face in Jungkook's neck to hide his smile. Jungkook notices the pink flush on his cheeks. It makes him chuckle. He kisses the side of Jimin's head and hugs him tighter.
"That's a promise I believe you can keep too," Jimin whispers against his neck.
Warmth spreads in his chest. Jungkook's glad he believes him. It's already a sign that Jimin's improving. Jungkook proved him times and times again that he can treat him with care and respect. He proved himself to his omega and he can't help but feel proud about it.
Jimin pulls back and pecks Jungkook's cheek before resting his head on his pillow. He closes his eyes, a small smile adorning his lips. Jungkook kisses his forehead. He looks so beautiful under the morning light peeking through the blinds.
"You look tired," Jungkook says, brushing a thumb over the dark bags under his eyes. Jimin opens his eyes and moves Jungkook's hand to his cheek instead.
"I haven't been sleeping well."
"Yeah, me neither."
"When you called me last week you said you got kicked out of your frat," Jimin frowns. "What happened?"
"So much happened," Jungkook sighs like it pains him to recall everything. He can't believe so much happened in so little time.
"Tell me," Jimin pouts, wrapping his arm around Jungkook's waist. "I want to know."
"Well," Jungkook licks his lips, "I was slacking off on my frat duties, since I wasn't feeling so well." Guilt is written all over Jimin's face. "But it's not just that. I wasn't happy in Alpha Sig, way before you came into my life. I just ignored it because it was my life and I had no reason to change it."
"Why weren't you happy?"
"I wasn't friends with any of the members there. I didn't have much in common with them except for the fact that I like to party," Jungkook shrugs. "When I met you, I never thought it'd be more than sex. I didn't think you'd turn my whole world upside down," he laughs.
"Yeah, I get that," Jimin smiles.
"The more attached I got to you, the more I realized I wasn't happy. Then we confessed. It might be stupid but even if you said we couldn't be together, I still thought," Jungkook huffs, "I do have a reason to change my life."
"You shouldn't change for me Jungkook."
"It's not that I'm changing to become someone I'm not," Jungkook shakes his head. "I'm finally becoming the person I've always wanted to be. I figured out who I want to be. Not just for you but for myself." Jungkook kisses the tip of Jimin's nose. It makes him smile. "And if you think the man I'm becoming is good enough for you then it's a happy coincidence."
Jungkook can't decipher Jimin's expression. It's not something bad but he can't tell if it's good either. He gets his answer when Jimin brings him into a soft kiss. It's very chaste but it's full of feelings. Jimin repeatedly pecks his lips, caressing his naked back. When he pulls back there's fondness written all over his face.
"You've always been good enough for me Jungkook."
Jungkook is happy to hear Jimin say it but deep down he doesn't believe it yet.
"Did you move out?" Jimin asks.
"Yeah, I'm crashing at Taehyung's for now. I got a job at a coffee shop and I'm saving some money to get a place of my own."
"I'm proud of you."
Jungkook's breath hitches in his throat. All of his life Jungkook's tried to make people proud of him. His parents, Taehyung, his teachers. He's made them proud in some way or another but he hasn't been told very often. Hearing the words from Jimin makes his alpha preen.
"Thank you," Jungkook smiles. "What about you?"
"What about me?"
"What happened to you this past month?"
"Oh," Jimin breathes out. He looks down at Jungkook's chest. He seems embarrassed. "Not much."
Yoongi said that Jimin didn't go to work and barely answered his texts. Jungkook knows it already but he wants to hear it from Jimin. He wants to know how he felt.
"You know," Jungkook clears his throat, "most of the time I was in my room. In the dark. There are days where I didn't get out of bed. A lot might have happened but most of the time I was miserable. I went to class but I could barely focus on anything that wasn't you."
Jimin looks up, blinking at him, "Really?"
"It was a very rough month," Jungkook brushes Jimin's hair back.
"For me too," Jimin nods. "I was home all the time except when I had to take Haewon to school or do the groceries. I didn't even go to work. I didn't speak to anyone. I felt so empty. I thought about you everyday. I wanted you to be here with me. I hated myself for pushing you away. For making us hurt so bad."
"What made you change your mind?" Jungkook asks, lips brushing against Jimin's forehead. He wants to kiss all the bad thoughts away.
"Haewon," Jimin huffs. "She said I smelled happy when you were around. She said she wasn't scared of losing people. That it doesn't matter if people leave us because we have each other." Jimin shakes his head in disbelief. "Can you believe it? My 8 year old is braver than I am."
Jungkook had no idea Haewon was so perceptive. He's not surprised of how smart she is because she's Jimin's daughter. Now that he thinks about it, it makes sense that Jimin's daughter was the only one who could make him change his mind. Part of Jimin's issues come from how much he loves Haewon. He wants to keep her from heartbreak and Jungkook gets that.
Haewon is Jimin's everything. Jimin is Haewon's everything. As long as they have each other they'll be fine. Somehow, Jungkook finds that to be a reassuring thought.
He doesn't plan on going anywhere but if it were to happen, Jimin wouldn't be alone.
"She gets it from you," Jungkook says. "She's so brave because she sees how brave you are."
Jimin smiles at him, "It took me a few days to get my head around everything. As I said, I'm still scared but I want to try."
"I'm proud of you."
Jimin beams at him and it almost makes Jungkook shiver. Happiness is a great look on him.
"Thank you," Jimin says before catching Jungkook's lips into a kiss.
The kiss quickly goes from chaste to heated. Jimin's the one who initiates it, licking at Jungkook's bottom lip to demand access. Their tongues slide against each other and Jimin's grip tightens in Jungkook's hair. Jungkook groans in the back of his throat when Jimin throws a leg over his hips, pushing their bodies even closer.
Jungkook grips Jimin's thigh to grind their hips together and Jimin mewls into the kiss. Jungkook loves the noises Jimin makes, they always drive him crazy. He loves how responsive Jimin is, squirming and shivering at the simplest of touches.
Jungkook tries to push Jimin onto his back but Jimin stops him with a hand on his chest.
"Nuh-huh," Jimin says when they break apart from the kiss. "You. On your back."
Jungkook smirks at the command, the thought of letting Jimin take the lead excites him. Jungkook rolls them over until Jimin's straddling him and he's lying comfortably against the pillows.
Jimin smiles down at him before kissing him, hands exploring Jungkook's naked chest. Jungkook loves morning sex, he can't believe he's about to have it with Jimin.
Jungkook runs his hands up Jimin's shirt and moans when Jimin starts rolling his hips against his half hard cock. Jimin's scent is covered by Jungkook's but he can still smell the hint of arousal coming off of him.
"I didn't get to ride you last night," Jimin mumbles against Jungkook's lips.
"Hmm, I guess you didn't," Jungkook says before groping Jimin's ass over his boxers.
"It's a shame because I'm really good at it," Jimin trails kisses down Jungkook's jaw. Jungkook tilts his head to the side to give him access to his neck.
"You're always good baby."
"Most of the time I just lie there and take your cock. I don't do much," Jimin nuzzles Jungkook's scent gland and Jungkook purrs at the attention.
"You take my cock really well," Jungkook mumbles. Jimin's scenting is distracting him, "and you look pretty while doing it. That's something."
Jimin laughs in the crook of his neck, slumping over Jungkook. It makes Jungkook smile. Hearing Jimin laugh always fills him with joy.
"You're right, I guess it's something," Jimin smiles at Jungkook, one hand cupping his face.
"I've been with people who just lied there and weren't as good as you."
Jimin's eyes darken, "Don't talk about other people."
Jungkook loves how possessive Jimin get sometimes. He's never met an omega as brazen as him before. He's never afraid to tell it how it is and to challenge Jungkook even though he's an alpha. It's not like Jungkook asserts any dominance over him but he has a feeling that Jimin would still talk back if he did.
"Okay daddy," Jungkook says and laughs when Jimin's face contorts in disgust.
"Don't call me that!" Jimin hits Jungkook's chest. It only makes Jungkook laugh harder.
"Okay, mommy?"
"Shut up," Jimin groans before burying his face in Jungkook's neck but there's a spike of arousal in his scent.
"Oh? Apparently you don't hate that," Jungkook smirks and hugs Jimin tight before whispering in his ear. "I'll remember that for later."
"You're the worst," Jimin pulls away, rolling his eyes at Jungkook. "Enough talking," he rolls his hips down on Jungkook's cock and catches his lips in a kiss.
Jungkook moans at the friction. Jimin's ass is an absolute work of art, he could write sonnets about it. He cups Jimin's asscheeks and pushes him harder against his hardening cock.
Jungkook can smell the sweet scent of Jimin's slick and his heart starts beating faster in excitement. Pride fills his chest, his alpha is pleased that he can turn his omega on so quickly.
The kiss is wet and deep, their tongues exploring each other's mouths. Jimin's hands are everywhere on Jungkook's chest, making him shiver. They both moan when the tip of Jungkook's cock catches on Jimin's rim through their boxers.
"Off," Jungkook says in between kisses, pushing Jimin's shirt up his body.
Jimin takes his shirt off and throws it on the floor before bending down to catch Jungkook's lip in another kiss. Jungkook stops him before he can.
"These too," he says, sliding his fingers past the waistband of Jimin's boxers.
"So impatient," Jimin chuckles, pecking Jungkook on the lips.
Jimin's boxers are halfway past his ass when the doorbell rings. They both freeze and look at each other in surprise.
"What the fuck?" Jimin says as he puts his boxers back on and Jungkook has to stop himself from pouting.
"Who is it?"
"I don't know," Jimin whisper yells as if the person on the other side of the door could hear him.
"Should we just ignore them?" Jungkook says, bucking his hips up to remind Jimin of their previous activities.
"Well, I can't open the door when I'm all," Jimin vaguely gestures at himself.
"Wet?"
"Yeah," Jimin sighs but he doesn't say anything else.
They look at each other, trying to figure out what to do next. Jungkook decides to just ignore it. He pulls Jimin down into a kiss making him yelp in surprise. Jungkook slides his hands down Jimin's boxers to grope his ass again. Jimin leans into the touch and nips at Jungkook's bottom lip.
They're interrupted when the doorbell rings again but more incessantly this time. The person behind the door clearly won't leave. Jimin groans in frustration and hides his face in the crook of Jungkook's neck. Jungkook takes his hands out of Jimin's boxers and caresses his back in reassurance.
"You should go open it," Jungkook says before kissing Jimin's shoulder.
"I can't!" Jimin sits up, eyes wide open and hair disheveled. "I smell like alpha and slick. I'm not presentable."
"Well, what do you want us to do?"
"You do it," Jimin says it with finalty in his voice.
"Me? I don't even live here!"
"They won't know!"
"I'm hard!"
"Hide it," Jimin looks over his shoulder in search of something. "Just put some clothes on."
The doorbell rings again followed by knocks on the door. Jungkook groans before sitting up and moving Jimin off of him. He gets off the bed and looks for his clothes that are scattered all over the floor.
"Whoever it is," Jungkook says as he puts his pants back on, trying to arrange himself as best as he can so his hard-on isn't too visible, "they're annoying."
"Thank you, baby. You're the best," Jimin says as he hops off the bed and hands Jungkook his shirt. Jungkook puts it on and Jimin pecks him on the lips. "I'm gonna wash up and I'll be right there."
"You owe me," Jungkook points a finger at Jimin's face menacingly but it only makes him smile.
"I'll make it up to you," Jimin wraps his arms around Jungkook's waist and kisses him. "I promise."
"Okay," Jungkook kisses him one last time before heading for the door.
He looks over his shoulder and Jimin gives him two thumbs up. Jungkook makes a face at him because he looks absolutely ridiculous. Jimin sticks his tongue out before disappearing in the bathroom. Jungkook rolls his eyes but can't help smiling. Jimin is so cute.
The knocks on the door intensify and Jungkook has to stop himself from cursing at the person behind it. He unlocks the door and opens it to reveal a very red Jungwoo and a bored Haewon. The three of them startle and silence fills the entryway. This is awkward.
"Uh," Jungkook says, looking between the two of them, "hi."
Haewon sighs and rolls her eyes at Jungkook as if his lack of communication skills deeply affects her. She flips her hair back with all the sass she can muster, which she clearly gets from Jimin, before pushing past Jungkook to enter the apartment.
"Hello Jungkook oppa," she says as she passes him before heading god knows where.
Jungkook turns back to Jungwoo who looks annoyed. Jungkook's pretty sure he's sporting the same expression on his face.
"You're still here," Jungwoo says, contempt clear in his voice.
"Yep," Jungkook raises his eyebrows before leaning against the doorframe as if he owns the place.
"I didn't think that your thing with Jimin would last."
Jungkook doesn't answer, he really isn't in the mood to talk to Jungwoo. The man isn't very nice company and every time Jungkook looks at him, his skin prickle in anger. He thinks about how he left Jimin all alone to fend for himself and his child, breaking his heart and making him lose faith in love. Jungwoo never deserved Jimin and the fact that he ever had the chance to put his hands on him makes Jungkook mad. Really fucking mad.
"Is this Haewon's stuff?" Jungkook points at the black bag Jungwoo is carrying.
"Yes, it-,"
"I'll take it," Jungkook cuts him off, taking it from him. Jungwoo blinks in surprise and opens his mouth to talk but Jungkook doesn't have the patience for it. "Thanks, bye."
He closes the door in his face. He hears Jungwoo curse as he locks the door and when he turns around he's met with an unimpressed Haewon. Jungkook jumps, dropping the bag on the floor.
"You scared me!" Jungkook cries out, one hand resting on his fast beating heart.
Haewon looks at Jungkook in silence, arms crossed over her chest. Jungkook shouldn't be as scared as he is considering she's a child but he's always walking on eggshells around her. She's Jimin's daughter. If she hates Jungkook, it's over for him.
"Um," Jungkook has to clear his throat because his voice breaks. Embarrassing. "What I just did is, um," Jungkook gestures towards the door, "rude. Don't do that."
Jungkook feels like a complete idiot and Haewon's looking at him like one. It was a poor first attempt at teaching a child a valuable lesson and he knows it.
"You're back," Haewon says, staring Jungkook down.
"I am," Jungkook swallows.
"You smell like my mommy again."
"Oh," Jungkook almost chokes on the word, "uh, yeah. We... we hugged. Again."
"I know how scenting works, you know," Haewon raises an eyebrow and a small smile lifts the corners of her mouth.
"Of course."
"Do you love my mommy?"
Jungkook's heart skips a beat at the question, surprised by Haewon's bluntness. He shouldn't be because children in general seem to lack a filter.
"I like him a lot," Jungkook answers truthfully. He doesn't want to lie to Haewon because he has a feeling she would know.
"Mommy likes you a lot too. I can tell because he smells like a garden when he's happy and you smell like a garden right now," Haewon uncrosses her arms, letting her guard down.
"He does. I noticed it too," Jungkook smiles and surprisingly she smiles back.
"Don't hurt my mommy, please," her voice is soft and Jungkook can tell how important Jimin is to her in the way she says it.
"I won't. I want him to be happy too."
Haewon appraises him for a while as if she's looking for something in Jungkook's face that would make her regret giving him a chance. Jungkook has never been more serious about anything in his life. He does want Jimin to happy and he wants to be part of his happiness.
"I want breakfast," Haewon breaks the silence and Jungkook feels like he can breathe again.
"Okay," Jungkook nods, "alright. I'll make you breakfast. Come on."
The kitchen is easy to locate since it opens in the living room. Jungkook walks around the counter and opens the fridge to look for something to cook for her.
"Um," Jungkook looks behind the fridge door to make sure Haewon followed him. She's sitting on a stool, leaning on the counter as she observes Jungkook with a small smile on her face, "what do you want to eat?"
"Do you know how to cook?" she asks instead of answering his question.
"Yes?" it sounds like a question because Jungkook isn't even sure he can cook eggs. He's a college student. He tends to skip meals or buy take out.
"Cook me cereal," Haewon says. It makes Jungkook laugh.
"You don't cook cereal. You just put them in a bowl and add milk," Jungkook closes the fridge door and looks around in search of a cereal box.
"Then that should be easy for you."
Jungkook looks over his shoulder and she's beaming, clearly happy with her teasing. Jungkook chuckles because she sounds exactly like Jimin. She looks like him too except for her eyes. She has the same button nose and his smile. He doesn't know Jungwoo enough to tell but her personality seems to be more like Jimin's too.
"You're funny," Jungkook says flatly but he's only teasing. He opens three different cabinets before finding a box of cereal.
"I know," Haewon says and points at a cabinet to Jungkook's right when she sees him struggling to find bowls.
"Thanks."
"Where's mommy? Is he sleeping?"
Jungkook pours some cereal in the bowl and then heads to the fridge to fetch some milk.
"No, he's taking a shower," he pours the milk on the cereal before putting it back in the fridge. "He should be here soon."
Jungkook sets the bowl in front of her. She moves on the stool to sit on her knees. Jungkook stands in place just waiting for her to eat as if she was going to taste a gourmet meal he just prepared. She looks at him expectantly.
"Spoon?" she deadpans.
Jungkook's confused for a second before it hits him, "Oh! Yeah, a spoon," he turns around and starts opening every drawer until he finds the cutlery. He takes a spoon out and hurries to give it to her. "There. Sorry."
"Thanks," she says and doesn't waste any time to dig in.
"Did your mommy know your dad was dropping you off this early?" Jungkook asks as he looks for a tissue. Haewon is a messy eater.
"Probably not," Haewon says with a mouthful of cereal and milk dribbling down her chin. "Mommy was supposed to pick me up tonight."
Jungkook rolls his eyes because it's the second time Jungwoo does this. Well, the second time Jungkook witnesses it at least. Jimin doesn't tell him much about Haewon or how he deals with raising her but he has a feeling this is a common occurrence.
Jungkook hands Haewon a tissue but instead of taking it she leans her chin towards him. Jungkook startles for a second before wiping the milk off of her face. He smiles because despite her bluntness and teasing, she's still a cute kid.
"How old are you?" she asks when Jungkook is done.
"21."
"You're old."
Jungkook scoffs. It's the first time he's ever been called old and considering he's seven years younger than Jimin it's even more surprising.
"21 isn't old."
"It is," she nods. "I'm 8."
"You're old," Jungkook says just to spite her.
"I'm not!" she frowns and pouts at him.
"You're almost 10. That's pretty old," Jungkook leans on the counter and tries to bite back a smile when she sticks her tongue out at him. She really is Jimin's daughter.
"Old people are boring," she says before putting another spoonful of cereal into her mouth. More milk dribble down her chin and Jungkook sighs, taking the already wet tissue to wipe it off of her face.
"Your mommy's old and he's not boring," Jungkook rests his chin in his hand.
"My mommy's the best."
The adoration in her voice is obvious and it makes Jungkook smile. She loves Jimin deeply and it warms Jungkook's heart that despite her parents being broken up she still seems to be happy.
"He is," Jungkook mumbles under his breath.
He jumps when he hears someone clear their throat. When he looks up Jimin's leaning against the wall. Jungkook can tell he's been standing there for a while. It makes him nervous and he tries to replay everything he did and said in the past few minutes, hoping he didn't mess up.
"Mommy!" Haewon exclaims before hopping off the stool. Jungkook almost reaches forward to catch her in case she falls.
She runs up into Jimin's arms and wraps her arms around his neck to hug him tight. Jimin laughs when she leaves a wet kiss on his cheek.
"Hi baby," Jimin's voice is softer than usual. Jungkook guesses that's his baby voice and the thought makes him all hot and bothered for some reason.
"You smell like Jungkook oppa," Haewon says but she doesn't seem completely disgusted which Jungkook finds reassuring.
"I do," Jimin says before nuzzling her cheek. It makes her giggle.
"She said she wanted breakfast," Jungkook says pointing at the bowl of now soggy cereal.
"Thanks," Jimin smiles at him so prettily it makes Jungkook's heart race. "What happened with daddy?"
Jungkook blinks for a second, confused as to what Jimin means before he realizes he's not talking about him but Jungwoo. His cheeks are burning. He wants to slap himself in the face.
"Work," Haewon's answer is flat as if it's always the same damn reason as to why Jungwoo can't fulfill his responsibilities as a father.
"Were you nice to Jungkook?" Jimin asks, quirking an eyebrow at her.
"I'm always nice, mommy," Haewon gives him a blinding smile. Jimin sounds unconvinced when he hums.
"Go finish your breakfast while I talk to Jungkook," Jimin puts her down and guides her back to her stool.
He silently gestures to the living room for Jungkook to follow him. Jungkook throws one last glance at Haewon who's happily eating before joining Jimin.
"How did it go with Jungwoo?" Jimin asks, wrapping his arms around Jungkook's neck.
Jungkook is surprised by the proximity considering Haewon's right there but he still wraps his arms around Jimin's waist.
"Fine," Jungkook says. Technically it's not a lie since there was no bloodshed but it's not like he and Jungwoo had a lovely conversation either.
"Really?" Jimin smiles knowingly. "Are you guys best friends now?"
"You're almost as funny as Haewon," Jungkook retorts. It earns him a slap behind the head. "Ow!"
"My daughter's very funny," Jimin frowns.
"That's what I said!"
"That's not what you meant."
"Jungwoo is an asshole," Jungkook says a little too loudly because Jimin shushes him.
"No swearing in front of Haewon," he whispers, looking over Jungkook's shoulder to check if she heard them.
"Sorry," Jungkook tightens his grip around Jimin and kisses his forehead.
"You're not wrong though."
Jungkook laughs and buries his face in Jimin's neck. Jimin hugs him tighter and smiles against Jungkook's shoulder. Jungkook feels so warm in Jimin's arms he wishes they could stay like this forever.
"I'm sorry," Jimin says when they break apart, sliding his small hands down Jungkook's chest, "I really wanted to spend the day with you."
"It's alright baby," Jungkook runs his hands up and down Jimin's sides. "Another day."
Jimin nods before leaning into a kiss. Jimin still smells heavily like Jungkook and it pleases him immensely. He's warm under his touch and he really wishes he could stay to cuddle with him and kiss him some more. Jungkook is about to tongue at Jimin's bottom lip when they're interrupted by a "Gross!" from Haewon.
Jimin laughs when they break apart while Jungkook blushes.
"Sorry baby," Jimin says.
"It's fine," Jungkook and Haewon say at the same time which only makes Jungkook's cheeks redden even more. Jimin laughs harder.
"I'm gonna go," Jungkook clears his throat. He's mortified and needs to flee the situation before Haewon starts making fun of him. His ego wouldn't be able to take it.
Jimin can't seem to stop laughing and Jungkook rolls his eyes at him but he can't help but smile. He walks to the door and bends down to put his shoes on. Jimin follows him and runs a hand down his back in reassurance. Jungkook straightens up and kisses him.
"I'll text you," Jungkook says against his lips.
"Okay," Jimin smiles, "thanks for coming."
"Goodbye Haewon!" Jungkook shouts across the entryway.
"Goodbye Jungkook oppa!"
Jungkook smiles before kissing Jimin one last time, "Goodbye baby."
"Goodbye daddy," Jimin smirks.
"You're the worst," Jungkook groans when heat pools in the pit of his stomach.
Jimin simply giggles before walking around Jungkook to unlock the door and open it for him. Jungkook pecks Jimin's cheek, making him smile, before leaving. He doesn't feel as horrible as the last time he left Jimin's apartment. This time he knows Haewon doesn't completely hate him and he knows he'll see Jimin soon.
Jungkook feels light and giddy, and he thinks that, maybe this is similar to what love feels like.
............&............
When Jungkook opens Taehyung's apartment door, he's surprised to find his best friend awake.
He checks his phone and sees that it's 10AM. Taehyung usually sleeps in until 2PM on Sundays. Jungkook takes his boots off before walking into the living room.
"Hey," he greets Taehyung, "you're awake?"
"There he is!" Taehyung says, smiling at Jungkook when he joins him on the couch. "I went to bed early last night, I was exhausted. I'm surprised you're home."
"Why?" Jungkook chuckles, resting his head against the back of the couch. An anime Jungkook's never head off is playing on the TV.
"Judging from how you smell, you must have gotten lucky last night," Taehyung smirks. "No morning sex?"
"We were about to but we got interrupted by his ex and Haewon."
"Again?"
"Yeah, apparently work always gets in the way of spending time with his daughter," Jungkook rolls his eyes.
"How did it go this time?"
"Good," Jungkook nods. "I've made some progress with Haewon. I didn't stutter as much."
"Wow," Taehyung smiles, "soon she'll steal my spot and you guys will become besties."
"Well, she's funnier than you."
Jungkook laughs as he tries to move away from Taehyung's punches. They play fight until Taehyung gets tired of getting pinned down to the back of the couch. He's a strong omega but he's not stronger than Jungkook. Jungkook lets go of his arms and slaps him in the shoulder one last time. Taehyung groans but doesn't try to retaliate.
"How did your date go?" Taehyung asks.
"We didn't actually get to the date."
"You guys just fucked?"
"Yeah," Jungkook shrugs.
"I'm not surprised. I haven't seen you guys together but from what you keep telling me, you guys seem to have great sexual chemistry."
"We do."
Jungkook doesn't think their chemistry is only sexual. They've rarely spent time together without having sex but when they did, the conversation always flowed easily. They make each other laugh and they flirt but they also communicate well. Jungkook wants to spend more time with Jimin, just to hang out with him. There's never a time when he's bored with him.
Last night, things went so fast, Jungkook barely had any time to think. The minute his eyes landed on Jimin he wanted to ravish him. To kiss, to touch and to feel. He needed it. They had so much pent up frustration from not seeing each other in a month, it was bound to happen.
The week leading to last night, Jungkook wasn't able to do anything. He was relieved but still anxious. He didn't know how things would go. He was scared Jimin would change his mind again. There was no sadness anymore but just a visceral need to see Jimin.
During the entire month without Jimin, Jungkook was too sad to even think about sex. During the week after their phone call, Jungkook couldn't stop thinking about sex with Jimin.
There was an itch under his skin. His alpha now knew he could have Jimin and all he wanted was to claim. He can't remember much from that week. He went to school, then to work and then on most nights he touched himself thinking of Jimin.
They didn't get to go on their date but their reunion was still perfect. Jungkook doesn't feel restless anymore. His wolf is finally at ease. He feels like he's living again.
"You seem happy," Taehyung says. He leans his arm on the back of the couch and plays with Jungkook's hair.
"I am."
"I'm glad. I was worried about you."
"I know," Jungkook smiles. "Thank you for being there for me. I don't think I would have held it together without you."
"I'll always be there for you Jungkookie," Taehyung says. He brings their heads together like brothers would do. It's a sign of support and comfort. "So are you guys boyfriends?"
"I don't know. I don't think so. We're taking things slow."
"Fucking each other's brains out is taking it slow?" Taehyung chuckles. He pulls back to look at Jungkook who rolls his eyes at him.
"Having sex is what we're familiar with. We have to figure out everything else. I don't know," Jungkook sighs. "We just want to be together."
"You'll figure it out baby."
"I hope so."
So far, Jungkook's only had to focus on getting Jimin to like him back. Now that he thinks about it, there's still a lot they need to tackle. Jungkook wants to be in a relationship with Jimin but he kind of forgot that it means having a relationship with Haewon. Jimin and Haewon are a package. He doesn't get to just have Jimin.
He needs to make a relationship work, which is scary enough on its own, considering Jungkook's never been in a relationship, and he needs to figure out which role to play in Haewon's life. If what he has with Jimin lasts, and he hopes it will, then eventually he's going to have to learn how to take care of a kid.
Jungkook. Taking care of a kid. Can he do that?
Jungkook shakes his head. He needs to take this one step at a time. First, Jimin. Then, Haewon. Then, well, he doesn't know yet.
Thinking so far into the future is scary.
Jungkook freezes when he thinks back about last night. His heart skips a beat and anxiety fills his scent.
"You okay?" Taehyung asks, frowning.
Last night, they forgot to use a condom.
It's the first time Jungkook's forgot to use one. He's never had a pregnancy scare in his life. He's not sure how to handle it. Jungkook has general knowledge of omega biology. He knows they can get pregnant if they don't take precautions. He knows they can use contraceptive pills to stop them from getting pregnant.
Does Jimin use contraceptive pills?
He hasn't been in a relationship since Jungwoo which was years ago. Jungkook knows he has sex with alphas pretty often but does he simply use condoms? Should Jungkook know this about Jimin or is it too personal? Jungkook tries not to panic. Jimin brushed it off easily last night but Jungkook isn't sure why. Maybe he was too out of it.
"Jungkook?" Taehyung says, bumping their shoulders together. Jungkook blinks at him.
"Oh my god," he breathes out. Eyes wide. He's imagining pups running around everywhere in a house he shares with Jimin. He's twenty one. He can't have pups yet. Can he?
"Okay, you're starting to freak me out Jungkook. What's wrong?"
Jungkook turns to face him and he's so close that Taehyung has to lean back. He frowns at Jungkook.
"You're an omega."
"Good observation," Taehyung nods.
"I don't know how to ask this. We never talk about this kind of stuff. It might be too personal. You don't have to answer. Just tell me to fuck off and we'll call it a day. We'll forget that this ever happened," Jungkook blurts out. He's a mess. He knows it, Taehyung knows it, the world knows it.
"Just ask the fucking question Jungkook," Taehyung sighs, rolling his eyes.
"I don't know how."
Taehyung and him might talk about sex a lot but they never talk about these stuff. Pregnancy, contraception, the omega body. Jungkook feels like it's very personal and he's pretty sure Taehyung is going to slap him in the face.
"What is it about?"
"Omega biology."
"Oh lord," Taehyung pinches the bridge of his nose in between two fingers. He groans when he sees the innocent expression on Jungkook's face. "What do you wanna know?"
"When you have sex with an alpha," Jungkook gulps. He doesn't know why he feels embarrassed when he knows everything about Taehyung's sex life, "and you don't use a condom. What are the chances of you getting pregnant?"
"Close to none," Taehyung deadpans.
"What? Why?"
"Because I'm on the pill idiot."
"Oh," Jungkook's eyes widen, "right, okay." He nods. "Do you think Jimin's on the pill?"
"How would I know?" Taehyung frowns. "Did you forget to use a condom?"
"Maybe."
"For fuck's sake Jungkook," Taehyung throws his head back.
"I'm stupid, I know. I was too horny to even think about using one," Jungkook sighs, running his hands over his face. "How can I find out if Jimin's on the pill?"
"Just ask him."
"No."
"Why not?" Taehyung frowns.
"It's too personal."
"You have sex with him Jungkook."
"So?" Jungkook raises an eyebrow.
"So you can ask him if he's on the pill."
"What if I offend him?
"Why would he be offended?"
"He might think I'm accusing him of not using contraception so he can get pregnant and force me to stay with him," Jungkook's eyes widen.
"This isn't a drama Jungkook," Taehyung rolls his eyes. "He doesn't have to force you to stay you're already clingy enough."
"I'm not clingy!" Jungkook exclaims, slapping him behind the head.
"Ah!" Taehyung rubs the spot Jungkook just hit. "You're both adults Jungkook. Adults who have sex together. Just ask him."
Jungkook doesn't even know how to bring it up to Jimin. It's not like he can just send him a text asking him if he's pregnant. Or if he's on the pill. He can't imagine himself asking him face to face either. Jungkook doesn't usually avoid his problems but he feels like seeing this one through. He'll find out soon enough if Jimin is pregnant. Eventually, he'll start to show. If in nine months a baby doesn't come out of Jimin then it means he's not pregnant.
Yes, that's a good idea. Jungkook will just ignore it.
No, it's a terrible idea.
Jungkook is a big boy, he can ask his omega if he's on the pill.
Eventually.
One day.
"Fine, I'll ask him," Jungkook sighs, slumping his body on the couch.
"He most likely is on the pill. If he's not, there's also a chance he won't get pregnant. Unless you have super sperm."
"Super sperm?" Jungkook frowns. "Is that a thing?"
"Sure."
"You're messing with me."
"I'm not.
"Yeah, you are.
"Maybe."
"You're the worst."
............&............
Jimin doesn't stay away from Jungkook for too long.
Not that he wants to stay away from him, but life gets in the way most of the time. He wants to make an effort to see him as much as possible now that there's no hidden feelings anymore. Jungkook and him are a thing now, he can hang out with him just for the sake of it, without having to worry if it'll send the wrong signal.
Jungkook said he doesn't have any classes on Wednesdays. He works at a coffee shop that's not too far from his dance studio which makes it easy for him to pay him a visit. Jimin didn't tell Jungkook he was coming. He didn't plan on making it a surprise or anything, but that's what couples do right? They pay each other visits. Are they even a couple? They didn't put a label on their relationship but Jimin likes the sound of that. A couple. Jimin and Jungkook.
When Jimin walks into Namu Coffee, the place is busy. Most of the tables are taken, the place is loud. There's a queue of four people at the counter, a girl is taking orders and another one is making them. No Jungkook in sight though. Jimin frowns, maybe he got it wrong, Jungkook might not be working today.
Jimin waits for the people before him to get their orders, which doesn't take as long as he thought, only five minutes. When it's his turn, the girl behind the counter gives him a blinding smile. She's pretty, probably his age, definitely omega.
"Welcome to Namu Coffee, what can I get you?" she says in a saccharine voice. She smells like caramel.
"Uh," Jimin clears his throat, "I'm actually looking for someone who works here. Jeon Jungkook. Is he not in today?"
"Oh!" she smiles. "Are you Jimin-ssi?"
Jimin startles, how does she know his name? He's certain they've never met before.
"Yes."
"Oh wow, you're even prettier in person," she chuckles. She continues when Jimin frowns. "Jungkook talks about you all the time."
"He does?" Jimin smiles, blushing. The thought of his alpha talking about how pretty Jimin is makes his omega preen.
"Yeah," she nods, "only nice things. He's here by the way. He's on his lunch break, in the back," she looks behind Jimin. There's no one else waiting. "I'll take you to him."
She rounds the counter and points to a door that says "staff only" for Jimin to follow her.
"Thank you," Jimin bows to her and she bows back.
"I'm Jieun by the way," she says, opening the door with her badge and holding it open for Jimin. "How old are you Jimin-ssi?"
"28." They walk through a small corridor until they reach a door that says "break room".
"I'm 30, you can call me noona."
"Thank you, I will."
She opens the door to reveal an empty break room except for Jungkook who's sitting at a table eating one of the sandwiches the coffee shop sells.
"Jungkook-ah!" Jieun calls out, making Jungkook jump. "Your boyfriend is here," she points to Jimin who's standing in the doorway.
Jimin smiles and waves at him. He doesn't know why he feels so awkward all of a sudden. Maybe it's the fact that Jieun called him Jungkook's boyfriend or the fact that they're being open about their relationship in front of someone he doesn't know. The only other people who witnessed their relationship were Wonho and Hoseok. One saw them butt naked and the other saw them suck each other's faces off on a sidewalk. He doesn't know which is worse.
"Jimin," Jungkook beams at him, standing up for no apparent reason. "What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to see you," Jimin shrugs. He feels shy for some reason. Usually Jungkook is the one who initiates their meetings.
Jungkook only beams harder, his woodsy scent becoming more prominent. It makes Jimin smile. He's like an excited puppy, he's adorable.
"Well," Jieun says, looking between the two with a smirk on her face, "I'll leave you to it. It was nice meeting you Jimin-ah."
"It was nice meeting you too Jieun noona," he says, bowing.
"You know the rules Jungkook-ah," she points at the alpha, "no fucking in the break room."
Jungkook groans, rolling his eyes, "Just go noona."
She giggles before closing the door behind her. Jimin's glad to know the rules because knowing them they could end up fucking in the breakroom. Jimin bent over one of the tables while Jungkook pounds into him. Jimin would have to stay quiet because the customers could hear him. Jimin wouldn't hate it.
Jimin shakes the thoughts away and walks to Jungkook.
"She's nice," he says. Jungkook steps forward and wraps his arms around Jimin's waist.
He hasn't stopped smiling since Jimin got here. It warms Jimin's heart that the simple sight of him can make Jungkook this happy. He feels the same way about Jungkook.
"I missed you," Jungkook says.
"We saw each other three days ago," Jimin chuckles, wrapping his arms around Jungkook's neck.
"Three days is a lot."
"You're right," Jimin bumps their noses together. "I missed you too."
Jungkook catches his lips in a kiss. It's more than a simple peck you give someone to greet them, it's slow, gentle and somehow sensual. It's always sensual with them. They feel so much for each other, it's hard to reign it in when they're together. Jimin tilts his head to the side, sucking on Jungkook's bottom lip. He brushes his thumb against Jungkook's scent gland. The smell of flowers mixes in with the smell of woods. Jimin thinks he could get addicted to the smell of their mixed scents.
They break apart before the kiss gets heated. They both know that if they keep going it will. Jimin pecks Jungkook's lips one last time before stepping out of Jungkook's embrace.
"Should we eat?" Jimin asks, smiling at a pouting Jungkook. His alpha is so clingy.
"Did you bring something?"
"I did," Jimin nods as he sits next to Jungkook. He takes his lunch box and chopsticks out of his bag before opening everything.
"I can't believe you're here," Jungkook says like he's in awe.
"What do you mean?"
"Like," Jungkook gestures to the both of them, "I can't believe you're having lunch with me just because you wanted to see me."
Jimin knows exactly what he means. For the first time since he met Jungkook, Jimin isn't overthinking everything. He felt like seeing him so he came here. It's something so simple but to Jimin it's something big.
It feels nice, to seek someone's company without having to worry if they'll get the wrong idea. Jungkook knows exactly how Jimin feels about him. Jimin has nothing to hide anymore. He can show Jungkook how much he cares about him.
Jimin is letting Jungkook in. There's only a handful of people who knows the real Jimin. Jungkook doesn't know everything about him yet. He doesn't know how caring, selfless and loving he can be. Jimin isn't afraid of showing him that side of himself anymore. He wants to smother Jungkook in affection, to make him smile and to make him happy. If Jungkook is happy with him then Jimin is happy.
There's no holding back anymore.
"Well, get used to it," Jimin says, taking a bite of rice. "I want to see you all the time you know. I can't always do it but," Jimin shrugs. He doesn't finish his sentence.
"That's fine," Jungkook smiles. "I feel the same way."
"I know."
Jungkook snorts, "You know? Is it that obvious?"
"You're the one who tried to court me first," Jimin smirks.
"So you knew I was trying to court you?"
"I'm not dumb," Jimin quirks an eyebrow up, "I'm just emotionally constipated."
Jungkook laughs, leaning back in his chair. He looks at Jimin like he's never seen him before. It's like Jimin's holding the moon in his hands, Jungkook looks at him like he's a special being to cherish and protect.
"I can't say you're wrong," Jungkook gives him an hesitant smile like he doesn't know if he can joke about it yet. Jimin gives him a reassuring smile. "What if I courted you now?"
"What about it?"
"Would it work?"
"You think it didn't work the first time?" Jimin says, resting his chin on his hand.
"You told me to fuck off when we were in the locker rooms."
"Exactly."
"So, clearly it didn't work."
"Actually, it means it worked," Jimin smiles when he sees Jungkook frown. "It's because it was working that I told you to leave. You made my heart flutter Jungkookie," he says, tickling Jungkook's neck. Jungkook giggles and pushes his fingers away. "I didn't know how to handle it."
"Did I really make you feel that way?"
"Yeah, you did," Jimin nods. He runs his fingers up and down Jungkook's forearm, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake. "You got me, didn't you?" Jungkook nods, beaming. "Then it worked."
They stare at each other. The room is quiet and smells like them. They're in their own little bubble and this time Jimin isn't afraid of something bursting it. He feels warm and happy with Jungkook, and for once there's no underlying anxiety in his brain. Things are simple.
Jungkook leans closer to leave a soft kiss on Jimin's lips. It's a simple brush of their lips but there's butterflies in Jimin's stomach.
"I'm so glad it worked," Jungkook breathes out against Jimin's lips. Jimin smiles and kisses the tip of his nose before leaning back.
"Speaking of courting," Jimin says, taking a piece of tofu in his mouth. Jungkook keeps munching on his sandwich. "We didn't get to go on that date."
"Oh, right," Jungkook nods. "I completely forgot about that. I got distracted as soon as I saw your ass in those slacks you wore that day. Just thinking about it makes me-"
"Jungkook," Jimin cuts him off, raising an eyebrow at him, "now isn't the time to think about my ass."
"Well, it's not like I think about anything else," Jungkook shrugs. Jimin almost chokes on his rice.
"You can't possibly always think about my ass."
"Yeah I can."
"That's ridiculous," Jimin shakes his head.
"Not with an ass like yours, it's not."
"It's like me saying I think about your dick all the time just because you have a great dick. It's just not true," Jimin says around a bite of broccoli.
"It's not?" Jungkook frowns. "I'm kind of offended that you don't."
Jimin tries to hold back a smile when he sees Jungkook pouting. His alpha is ridiculous.
"I think about it at appropriate times."
"Oh?" Jungkook looks up, smirking at Jimin. "When is that?"
Jimin leans against the table and tilts his head to the side, "At night. When I'm all alone."
"What do you think about exactly?" Jungkook mimics his position.
Jimin thinks about a lot of things when Jungkook isn't with him. Some of them are sexual, some of them aren't. Sometimes he thinks about how full he feels when Jungkook is buried deep inside of him. Sometimes he thinks about how much he'd like to fall asleep wrapped in Jungkook's arms. There's not one night he doesn't think about Jungkook.
Jungkook's scent is starting to turn that special touch of spicy like it always gets when he's getting horny. Jimin's omega is already keening at the prospect of taking things to dangerous territory. They don't have time to do anything and Jimin doesn't like breaking the rules.
"No fucking in the break room Jungkook-ah," Jimin repeats Jieun's words. Jungkook scoffs.
"We're just talking."
"We both know where these kinds of talks always take us."
"And where is that?" Jungkook smirks, his scent becoming even stronger.
"Today? Nowhere. I'm just here to eat."
Jimin leans back and resumes his eating. Jungkook's staring at him but he ignores it. He knows exactly how he's looking at him.
"You're my favorite thing to eat," Jungkook says in a low voice. The implication makes Jimin shiver.
"Jeon Jungkook," Jimin warns.
"Hmm, cute."
Jimin startles when he feels Jungkook's hand on his thigh. It's warm and heavy and it makes heat pool at the pit of his stomach. Jungkook slides his hand up slowly, his fingers brushing against his sensitive inner thigh.
Jungkook crowds his space, his broad chest brushing against his side. He buries his face in Jimin's neck, inhaling deeply against his scent gland.
"What are you doing?" Jimin breathes out. He exposes more of his neck, earning a pleased hum from Jungkook.
"Scenting you."
Jimin chuckles, letting him do as he pleases. He takes Jungkook's hand on his thigh and intertwines their fingers together, rubbing his thumb over his knuckles. Jungkook brushes his lips and nose over Jimin's scent gland. He keeps things pretty chaste for someone who smells so horny. Jimin feels dazed by the scenting. His eyes are closed, Jungkook's scent is everywhere. He feels relaxed, safe and like he belongs.
Once Jungkook is satisfied with his scenting, when Jimin's flowery scent is gone, he peppers kisses up his neck, along his jaw and on his cheek. It makes Jimin smile. He turns his head until their foreheads are touching and their noses bump into each other. Jungkook squeezes Jimin's hand and pecks him on the lips, once, twice, thrice.
"Are you sure I can't eat you?" Jungkook breathes out.
Jimin laughs and hits Jungkook's chest, "You can't."
"But you look so good," Jungkook pouts.
"So?"
"I want to eat you up."
"You're so weird," Jimin buries his laughter in Jungkook's shoulder. Jungkook kisses the side of his head, laughing too.
"You love it."
"I do," Jimin nods, pulling back to look at Jungkook. He cups his cheek and kisses him on the lips. "I'd be bored if you weren't who you are."
"What am I?"
"I won't stroke your ego," Jimin pushes him back.
"Why?" Jungkook whines. "Tell me how amazing I am."
"You don't need me to tell you that."
"You're not the only one with a praise kink you know," Jungkook wraps his arms around Jimin's waist to bring him closer. Jimin laughs, pushing him away.
"I don't have a praise kink."
"Sure," Jungkook scoffs, "and I don't have a daddy kink."
"Shut up," Jimin groans, blushing at the reminder.
He still can't believe he let Jungkook persuade him into calling him daddy during sex. There's not much he'd refuse Jungkook, he realizes.
Jimin stops struggling against Jungkook's hold and instead wraps his arms around his neck to hug him. He can't believe how clingy they're being right now, it's not something he's used to anymore. The last person he was like this with was Jungwoo, which was years ago. It feels nice to be so intimate with someone again. He doesn't like to admit it but Jimin missed this.
"Are you gonna tell me where you were planning on taking me for our date?" Jimin whispers against Jungkook's neck.
"Oh," Jungkook runs his hands up and down Jimin's back soothingly, Jimin has to stop himself from purring. "I was gonna take you to Lotte World for an ice skating date."
Jimin's heart skips a beat, he feels like he's going to melt into a puddle of goo right at Jungkook's feet. An ice skating date. It sounds so romantic and sweet, which isn't surprising coming from Jungkook. Jimin beams against Jungkook's shoulder, hugging him tighter to his chest.
"Judging from your scent you like the idea?" Jungkook chuckles.
Jimin pulls back to look at him, he can't stop smiling.
"I love it," Jimin nods, pecking Jungkook on the cheek. "Can you still take me?"
"Yeah, I will."
"I've never been on a date before."
Jungkook's eyes widen, "What?" Jimin shakes his head. "What about Haewon's dad?"
"Haewon's dad?" Jimin chuckles. "Why don't call him Jungwoo?"
"It pains me to even say his name," Jungkook rolls his eyes. "Or to hear it."
"You're so cute," Jimin giggles, pecking his lips. His alpha is so, so cute when he's jealous. "Jungwoo and I never went on a date. We hung out, then kissed, then fucked and then decided to be together. He wasn't really the romantic type."
"He's worse than I thought."
Jimin smiles and pecks him on the lips for what feels like the millionth time today. He realizes it doesn't hurt like it usually does when he mentions Jungwoo. If he thinks about it too hard, then maybe but he's too happy being with Jungkook right now that he doesn't let Jungwoo ruin this moment.
"He's definitely something," Jimin shrugs. "Anyway, I'm glad I get to have my first date with you," he pouts his lips to demand a kiss and Jungkook gives it to him. "My sweet, sweet alpha."
Jungkook's scent turns spicy again and Jimin knows exactly why. Alphas are easy to rile up in general but it's even easier to rile Jungkook up. Jimin just has to say "mine" and Jungkook is like putty in his hands.
"I'll make it the best first date ever," Jungkook says, making his chest broader. He's like a peacock, trying to attract Jimin. He already has Jimin though.
"I know you will."
Jungkook smiles before kissing him. Jimin sighs into the kiss, burying his fingers in his hair. Jungkook sucks on his bottom lip and tongues at it. Jimin hums appreciatively, bringing his head closer. The butterflies in his stomach are back when their tongues meet and Jungkook's fingers peek under the hem of Jimin's shirt. They're warm against Jimin's skin, leaving goosebumps in their wake.
The kiss isn't heated, they just want to feel each other. Jimin can't believe he gets to touch and kiss him just because he can. Just because he wants to. They don't have to turn it into sex to erase suspicions about possible feelings they may have. They know they have feelings for each other, they know what they have is special. They're both happy.
Jimin isn't thinking about anything else but the feeling of Jungkook's lips, hands and body.
Jungkook is biting on his bottom lip and Jimin is moaning when the door suddenly opens. They break apart quickly, Jungkook wipes his wet mouth with his hand and Jimin turns to the door.
"Well," Jieun says, leaning against the doorframe, "at least you guys are wearing clothes."
"I wanted to break the no fucking rule but Jimin's a goody-two-shoes," Jungkook says.
"Hey!" Jimin smacks Jungkook's chest. Jungkook hisses in pain even though they both know it didn't actually hurt.
"It reeks of alpha pheromones in here," Jieun scrunches her nose up, before walking to the table. She sits in front of Jimin.
"I smell amazing," Jungkook smirks, "don't I, Jimin?"
"You don't smell good enough for the room to also smell like omega slick."
Jieun has to stop herself from spitting her water everywhere as she laughs. Jimin turns to his half empty lunch box. Jungkook looks offended.
"You're so mean," Jungkook whines. "You had plenty more years to learn how to control your pheromones. If you were 21 all over again, you'd be begging for my cock right now."
Jimin rolls his eyes before looking at him. Jungkook has the audacity to pout as if he didn't say something so obscene in front of a co-worker.
"I can't help that I was born first," Jimin shrugs.
Jimin doesn't dare to look at Jieun's face. She probably knows Jungkook's age and she definitely knows Jimin's age. Jimin wonders what she thinks about their age difference, or the fact that Jungkook is dating someone older. It makes Jimin nervous. He's always been worried about what other people would think of their relationship.
"It has nothing to do with age," Jieun says, "you alphas are too easy to rile up. You all think with your dicks. Omegas are smarter than that."
"You know what?" Jungkook points at her. "You're not wrong."
Jimin smiles at him. He's so sweet. Any other alpha would have felt offended by that because they tend to be prideful, but not Jungkook. Never Jungkook. He reminds Jimin of Namjoon. Jungkook was brought up well, he's always very respectful of omegas and of Jimin.
It might have to do with the fact that Jungkook's best friend is an omega. Jimin doesn't know much about Taehyung, but they've been friends since childhood and Jimin's certain Taehyung's put Jungkook in his place more than once. He probably taught him how to treat omegas well. Jimin likes that in Jungkook a lot.
"Anyway," Jieun says taking a bite of her sandwich, "Jungkook you need to go back to work. Sua's waiting for you."
"Already," Jungkook sighs, checking the time on his phone. He turns to Jimin. "You can finish eating here if you want."
"Oh no, I have to go back to work too."
"What do you do?" Jieun asks.
"I'm a dance teacher," Jimin smiles.
"Ah, that explains the body."
Jungkook glares at her and it makes Jimin laugh. Jungkook gets jealous of omegas too apparently.
"Thanks," Jimin says and she winks at him. Jungkook glares harder. "We should go babe."
"Yes," Jungkook says, standing up, "away from the temptress who's trying to steal my omega."
"Hide your omegas," Jieun wiggles her eyebrows suggestively and it makes Jimin laugh.
Jungkook sticks his tongue out at her and she does the same. Jimin shakes his head at them. Their age difference is even bigger than his and Jungkook's but the two act like children. Jimin's glad to see Jungkook making friends. He told Jimin that he had a hard time doing so which is a shame because he has a lot to offer and anyone would be lucky to be his friend.
"Come on. Let's clean up and go," Jimin says, sliding a hand down Jungkook's back.
"Yeah, I'm already late. Sua's going to kill me."
They throw their unfinished food away and Jungkook cleans the table. Jimin waves Jieun goodbye and Jieun tells him to come back soon before he follows Jungkook out of the break room.
Jungkook stops at the door leading to the coffee shop to bring Jimin into an embrace. They kiss for longer than they should considering Jungkook is supposed to be working, but it gets harder and harder to say goodbye every time they meet. It's not painful but it's disappointing. Jimin would spend everyday with Jungkook if he could.
"Thank you for coming baby," Jungkook says, brushing their noses together. "You can come by anytime."
"Okay," Jimin smiles, "I will."
"When can I take you out on our date?"
"We can try saturday. I'll ask my friends to watch Haewon."
"Saturday works for me," Jungkook says, pecking him on the lips.
"You should go babe."
"Don't want to leave you."
"Me neither but we'll see each other soon."
"Promise," Jungkook pouts.
Jimin rolls his eyes and smiles. He offers his pinky to Jungkook, "Promise."
Jungkook hooks his pinky with Jimin's before kissing him one last time.
"Your pinky is tiny by the way."
"Shut up Jungkook," Jimin hits him in the chest before opening the door to the coffee shop.
Jungkook is laughing behind him. Jimin looks at him over his shoulder and blows him a kiss before walking out of the coffee shop. He doesn't miss the blush on Jungkook's cheeks.
Jimin already misses him.
