The first week without Jimin is a lot harder than Jungkook anticipated.

Not that he expected it to be easy. He knew it would hurt but he didn't think it would hurt this bad. He feels hollow, like a part of him is missing. His heart aches for something he knows he could have if things weren't so complicated. Knowing that Jimin has feelings for him doesn't really make it hurt less but it's better than Jimin not wanting him at all.

It's not that Jungkook isn't good enough for him, it's that Jimin thinks he's not good enough to make Jungkook stay. Which is crazy because Jungkook has never wanted someone as much as he wants Jimin. He knows, deep down, that he won't ever feel this way for anybody else. It's not love he feels yet, but there's something burning under his skin. A craving to be close to him, to feel him and to make him happy.

It might be a werewolf thing. Something he doesn't completely understand. He doesn't really want to understand, he trusts in himself and his instincts. He wants Jimin and he's accepted that. It doesn't mean he can have him but at least he's honest with himself and he's aware of how he feels. It should help with recovering. If that's even possible.

Time is supposed to heal everything but he's not sure it will work for them.

Jungkook doesn't do much during that week. He spends most of his time in his room, in his bed. He looks at the ceiling for hours and imagines a life with Jimin. He cries. A lot, actually. Jungkook's always been sensitive but he doesn't necessarily cry easily. He doesn't stop himself from crying though. It helps, in some way. He even feels lighter after some of his crying sessions. Sometimes he feels even sadder.

He doesn't wish for the pain to go away. He knows he needs to feel it before things get better. He's sad but he's patient. He forces himself to go to his classes even though he has a hard time focusing. He doesn't interact with people though. He goes on with his life but isolates himself.

It's not like he has a lot of people to isolate himself from, but he doesn't even have the strength to greet his teachers when he enters a classroom. People look at him now. Usually, Jungkook goes unnoticed because he's not a very interesting person. Now, he gets a lot of looks of pity. It's because of his scent. He smells like the woods during a storm. That's how he feels inside. He's a storm of emotions and there's nothing he can do to stop it. He just needs to let it pass.

Taehyung is the only one he doesn't isolate himself from, but that's because he needs him the most when he's sad. He also knows Taehyung wouldn't let him isolate himself from him, so there's no point in trying. He trusts Taehyung enough to be vulnerable in front of him anyway. He has nothing to hide.

Taehyung tries to get him to hang out with him but Jungkook always says no. He's not strong enough for it yet. Socializing makes him tired when he's sad. The only type of socialization he can offer Taehyung is texting. Never for too long though.

Taehyung understands and gives him his space for a week. He's never been a patient person though, and nothing hurts him more than seeing Jungkook hurt.

Jungkook is lying on his bed when someone knocks on his door. He knew it would come eventually. He knows it's time to let someone into his space.

"Come in," Jungkook mutters. He doesn't really want the person to hear him.

Even if Taehyung didn't hear him he would come in anyway.

"Hey," Taehyung says when he closes the door.

It's 5PM but it's dark in Jungkook's room because the blinds are closed. Light gives him headaches nowadays. He always feels safer when it's dark anyway because he can't see himself and people can't see him.

Taehyung walks to the window to open the blinds. Jungkook squeezes his eyes shut when the light hits him. He has to blink a few times to get used to it. Taehyung opens a window to let the air in. The whole room smells like Jungkook's scent but it's filled with sadness. It must be hard for Taehyung to be here. His omega must be begging him to comfort Jungkook. To scent him and to purr until the sadness completely disappears from his scent.

Jungkook doesn't like being touched when he's sad. He usually likes being alone until he talks himself out of whatever state he's in. He's usually the one who reaches out to Taehyung when he feels better, asking him to hang out.

What he's experiencing right now is nothing like he's ever experienced. Taehyung probably doesn't know how to navigate around the situation. Jungkook doesn't want to make things difficult for him so he'll try to let him in. There's not much he can offer Taehyung for now, but he won't reject him.

"How long have you been lying here?" Taehyung asks as he sits on the edge of Jungkook's bed. His voice is gentle like he's talking to a frightened animal.

"Since I came back from my 9AM class," Jungkook's voice is raw. He can't remember the last time he talked.

"Want some company?" Taehyung asks. "We can watch a movie and eat snacks."

"I'm kind of tired."

Taehyung sighs, fidgeting with his fingers. Jungkook isn't making it easy for him to help, but he really feels tired. He can't say he doesn't appreciate his friend's concern though.

"It's gonna get better, you know," Taehyung says. Everyone always says that and Jungkook doesn't know if the pain will get better, but he knows that eventually he'll learn to live with it.

"It's been a week and I already miss him like crazy," Jungkook says. He hasn't moved from his spot on the bed. He's lying on his side, facing the window. A light breeze hits his face and somehow it makes him feel better. "It's not like we saw each other often but we used to text every day at least. I miss talking to him. I just miss him."

"I know," Taehyung rests a hand on Jungkook's hip, rubbing it with his thumb. It's of small comfort but Jungkook appreciates it nonetheless. "I'm sure he misses you too."

"I know he misses me and that's what hurts the most," Jungkook scoffs. "The fact that we both like each other but we can't be together. I mean, we can but he's just not ready."

It's such a stupid situation to be in. Liking someone, knowing they like you back but you still can't be with them. It should be simple. Love is supposed to conquer all. That's what Jungkook's heard all his life. In reality, things are more complicated.

Jungkook could torture himself and tell himself that if Jimin had never met Jungwoo then things would be completely different. If Jimin never met Jungwoo he wouldn't be scared of letting Jungkook in, but if he didn't mean Jungwoo he would never have had Haewon. Jungkook can imagine a hundred different scenarios in which he and Jimin have it easy, but it doesn't change anything. Things happen for a reason. Jungkook likes to believe so.

"I could ask Yoongi hyung to talk to him," Taehyung says. "I can stop by his pet shop anytime."

"Thanks Tae," Jungkook gives him a small smile, "but I think it's better to leave Jimin alone. I think he needs space right now. To make sense of everything."

Taehyung's eyes soften. He runs a hand up and down Jungkook's back. He looks at Jungkook with fondness and love. They both hate when the other is hurting, it always affects their moods. The world stops turning every time one of them is sad. Taehyung probably feels helpless because there's nothing he can do for Jungkook to stop hurting.

"You're so sweet Jungkookie," Taehyung pets Jungkook's hair. Jungkook closes his eyes and melts into the comforting touch. "I'm really sorry this is happening."

"I don't hate him you know," Jungkook's voice breaks. His eyes start to sting and soon tears will prickle in the corners of his eyes. He swallows around the lump in his throat. "I understand his reasons, I really do. I don't agree with the way he deals with his fears but I understand."

"When did you get so mature, huh?" Taehyung smiles at him fondly. There's pride in his eyes.

"I've never really been in a situation that required me to be mature before this," Jungkook sighs. "I'm as surprised as you are. I'm trying really hard to be the best version of myself because I really care about him. I want him so bad I'm willing to do whatever it takes to be good enough for him."

Jungkook might not be yet but he knows he can grow to be good enough for Jimin. He has so much to learn but he's willing to try. He wants to be a man, an alpha, Jimin is proud to be with, but most importantly Jungkook wants to become someone he, himself, can be proud of.

"I'm so proud of you Jungkook," Taehyung breathes out. It warms Jungkook's heart.

"I'm still a dumbass," Jungkook chuckles. "I'm just leveling up."

"You'll always be a dumbass," Taehyung smiles. "It's part of your charm."

"Thanks."

Just like that, Jungkook's mood has been lifted. His heart still aches for his omega but he's going to be okay. He's not alone and he doesn't want to be sad forever.

Jungkook sits up to lean against the headboard, "Thanks for being there Tae." He extends his hand for Taehyung to take.

"I'll always be there for you baby," he squeezes his hand and gives him a soft smile. "I'll go now," he stands beside the bed. "Text me if you need anything."

"I will," Jungkook smiles.

"I love you."

"Love you too."

Taehyung pets his hair one last time before walking out of his room. Jungkook stays immobile for a while. He can hear the sound of cars driving by, the idle chatter of other frat members outside. The world hasn't stopped turning.

Jungkook will be okay.

............&............

The second week without Jimin, Jungkook stops isolating himself.

His heart still feels heavy and he constantly feels tired but he pulls through it. He runs a lot. Mostly at night, when the streets are less busy and because he feels freer at night. At night, everyone is home and no one expects anything from him. He's free from any responsibility. After a long day, when the sun goes down and the moon rises, everyone minds their own business.

That's exactly what Jungkook needs. For students to stop looking at him like he's something to be pitied. For teachers to stop expecting him to turn in his work on time when his head is all over the place. Jungkook is trying his hardest not to let anyone down and he's exhausted.

At least, he's not letting himself down.

He thinks he's doing pretty good considering. He gets out of bed every morning and that's a victory in itself. He attends his classes, he hung out with Taehyung twice since he came over, he doesn't miss any meal. He's just a little behind on his homework and he neglects his frat duties. He's trying and that's enough for Jungkook.

Jungkook slows down to a walk when he reaches the Alpha Sig's house. He's been running for 40 minutes, his heart is racing and he's sweating, but his chest feels lighter. It's short-lived but the endorphins in his system make him feel happier and he doesn't hurt as much after every run. It's a small relief but it's better than nothing.

Jungkook enters the house and heads straight for the kitchen where he grabs a bottle of water from the fridge. He downs half of the bottle as he leans against the counter. It's 11PM and he still needs to make himself dinner. The house is loud, voices can be heard from every room.

Nowadays, being home makes Jungkook anxious.

Most of the time, he tries to avoid his frat brothers. He doesn't feel like talking to them because they wouldn't understand and Jungkook isn't close enough with them to talk about how he feels. He's been pretty lucky for the past two weeks because he hasn't seen anyone. Or, well, more like no one has seen him.

Luck always runs out eventually.

Jisoo stops in his tracks when he sees Jungkook in the kitchen. Jungkook swallows his sip of water. They stare at each other for a few seconds until Jisoo walks to the fridge. Jungkook walks around the counter to give him space.

"Hey," Jisoo says. He takes a bottle of coke out of the fridge.

"Hey," Jungkook replies. Drops of sweat are running down his temples and his shirt is sticking to his chest. He's in need of a shower but he knows he can't escape this conversation.

"You're running again?" Jisoo takes a glass out of a cupboard and fills it with coke.

"Yeah, I...," Jungkook licks his lips, looking for a fake reason, "I need to get back in shape."

"You look fine to me," Jisoo chuckles.

"Thanks," Jungkook smiles.

Jisoo is one of the nicest alphas in Alpha Sig. Jungkook's never had the chance to talk to him much outside of parties but they're always drunk and drunk conversations are usually forgotten in the morning. Jungkook's never had any bad encounters with Jisoo though. He's pretty quiet himself but he's more social than Jungkook.

"You haven't been very...," Jisoo starts, leaning against the counter. He seems to be looking for the right words, "present, lately."

"Yeah, uh, I'm kind of busy with school," Jungkook looks down at his hands wrapped around his water bottle. He hates lying and he's bad at it too.

"Are you happy in Alpha Sig?"

Jungkook blinks at him. No one's ever asked him that and he's never asked himself that either. Does he even have an answer? Is he happy?

Somehow, the answer comes to him easily.

He hasn't felt comfortable in Alpha Sig for at least a year. Way before he met Jimin. He never really thought about doing anything about it because what other options does he have? He doesn't have a job and the money his parents give him every month isn't enough to rent a place of his own. He's in the middle of a school year and there's no dorm rooms available.

He joined Alpha Sig because he wanted to make friends. If he leaves, then he only has Taehyung. Jungkook came out of his shell but he didn't make any friends because he found out he has nothing in common with the alphas in Alpha Sig. He also didn't make any effort to get to know everyone. He might have been friends with Jisoo if he tried.

Being a frat boy isn't so bad, he gets to go to the best parties, has sex with gorgeous omegas. He lives in a big house, has his own room and doesn't even have to pay for it. He pays monthly dues but everything is covered by his parents because it's cheap. Jungkook is doing pretty good for himself, but he can't say that he's happy .

It's just convenient.

"I don't know," Jungkook shrugs.

"Look, Jungkook," Jisoo sighs, "I know you've been going through something. You haven't been invested in the frat for the past months but you've been completely MIA these past few weeks. I won't ask," he stares at Jungkook, "but if you ever need to talk. I'm here, okay?"

"I appreciate it hyung," Jungkook smiles, "but I'll be fine."

"I know," Jisoo nods. "You're a strong kid. I'm just saying."

"Thank you."

Jungkook isn't surprised by Jisoo's offer but he's surprised to be the recipient of his kindness. They're not close but somehow, Jungkook wouldn't mind going to him for advice. He's Taehyung's age, he lived two years longer than Jungkook which means he has more experience in everything. When he was younger, Jungkook always hung out with people that were older. Taehyung, his older brother, his father. It's easier for him to connect with them than with people his age.

He's always felt like there's a lot he could learn from them.

"I'm gonna go take a shower," Jungkook says.

"Alright. Goodnight Jungkook."

"Goodnight, hyung."

Jisoo has more experience than Jungkook because he's lived two years longer than him.

Jungkook would love to learn from him.

He just has a hard time trusting people with his feelings.

............&............

A few days later everything comes crashing down.

More than they already have anyway.

When Jungkook comes home that night after his usual run, he's met with a mess of kegs, red cups and decorations. Some frat members are moving the kegs to different rooms in the house and others are standing up on some chairs to put up the decorations. Jungkook curses himself internally. He totally forgot there was a party tonight. He should have gone to Taehyung's.

Jungkook closes the front door behind him and just stands there. No one pays him any attention. Jungkook should just head upstairs and hide in his room for the rest of the night. He doesn't have time to even take a step forward before someone's calling his name.

"Jeon!" Wonho corners him. He's followed by Jay and Jisoo. He doesn't look happy. "Where were you? Everyone was supposed to be home at 6PM to get the house ready for the party and you were the only one missing."

Jungkook fidgets with his earphones. He doesn't have a good excuse and he's really not in the mood to fight. Parties are the least of his worries right now.

"I couldn't make it, sorry," he's not sorry.

"Why not?" Jay asks, arms crossed over his chest. Jisoo stands quietly behind them. He looks sorry for Jungkook.

"I had an emergency."

"Running isn't an emergency," Wonho says, looking at Jungkook's attire. He's wearing sweatpants and a shirt and his hair is matted to his forehead.

"Neither is crying yourself to sleep," adds Jay. "All of that could wait, we needed you."

Jungkook is usually numb to Wonho and Jay's teasing jabs but not today. Anger rises in his chest and his scent starts getting stronger. He tries to control his breathing as best as he can but he already knows it's a lost cause.

"Thanks for being so understanding."

"Look," Jay rolls his eyes, "everyone goes through break ups, you need to get over it. There'll be tons of hot omegas at the party."

Jungkook doesn't even know how they know about what happened with Jimin. Maybe they don't need to know, maybe they just put two and two together. For months Jungkook smelled like Jimin and like happiness. Now, Jimin's scent has disappeared and his own scent is filled with sadness. It doesn't take a genius to understand what's going on.

"No thanks," Jungkook feels sick just thinking about betraying Jimin like that. He's not with him anymore but he won't touch anyone else for a very long time.

"That pretty ex of yours must have been a really good lay for you to refuse to fuck other omegas," Wonho snickers. Jungkook doesn't like the way he calls Jimin pretty. It sounds gross in his mouth.

"Shut the fuck up. Get off my back. I'm not taking part in this stupid party and that's that," Jungkook spits. "You guys are assholes. Grow the fuck up."

Jungkook tries to walk away but Wonho pushes him against the door. Jisoo takes a step forward but stops in his tracks. Jungkook has to keep a growl from escaping his throat. He wants to bury his teeth in Wonho's neck and assert his dominance but he doesn't have the strength. Jungkook shouldn't challenge an older alpha anyway.

"You're getting brave kiddo," Wonho says. Jungkook pushes his hand away and Wonho lets him but he's still way too close. "Stop acting like a little bitch."

"You're the little bitch," Jungkook grunts out. He wants to shove Wonho away. His smokey scent is clogging up his senses. Their combined scents smell like a wildfire and Jungkook feels like it's burning inside his chest.

"Every member has to fulfill their duties, Jungkook," Jay says. Jungkook is too busy holding Wonho's gaze to look at him. "If you keep acting like this we'll have to kick you out."

"I don't really care. Maybe you should kick me out."

Jungkook doesn't think about the consequences of getting kicked out. He just can't stand living in the same house as them. He can't take their teasing right now. He's not strong enough to just brush it off like he usually does. Everything hurts and he can't be around people whose past time is to bring him down.

"Do you really want that?" Jisoo asks. It's the first time he speaks since Jungkook got home. "Wonho, back off."

Wonho scoffs but does as he's told. The smell of smoke is less prominent, Jungkook feels like he can breathe again. Jungkook straightens up and looks at Jisoo. He already knows the answer.

"Who cares what he wants? He clearly doesn't belong with us anymore," Wonho says, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I really don't."

"Okay then goodbye."

"Wonho, come on," Jisoo intervenes. "He's going through something. Cut him some slack."

Jungkook appreciates the concern but he can speak for himself, "Thanks but I want out anyway.

"You have to move out of the house then," Jay says. He's like Wonho's little lapdog.

"Do you have a place to stay? Where will you go?" Jisoo asks. He steps in front of Jungkook, in between him and Wonho.

"I'll just go to a friend's apartment, don't worry about me. I'll pick up my stuff tomorrow."

Jungkook knows Taehyung will let him crash at his place but he hates imposing himself on him like that. He doesn't want to be a burden but it's not like he has any other choice.

"Good riddance," Wonho says.

"Shut the fuck up Wonho," Jisoo groans. "You can stay until you figure something out, Jungkook."

"No he can't."

"Can you stop being an asshole for once in your life?" Jisoo spits out, looking at Wonho over his shoulder.

"Whatever."

Wonho rolls his eyes and gestures for Jay to follow him. They head to the backyard, not looking back at Jungkook even once. Jungkook's lived with these guys for a year and half and that's all he gets.

"I already know where I'm gonna stay, it's fine."

"Okay," Jisoo nods and tilts his head to the side. "I'm sorry you don't feel like you fit in our frat," he pats Jungkook's shoulder, "but I'm glad you were part of it. If you need anything, I'm always here."

"Thank you Jisoo," Jungkook smiles, "I really appreciate it."

Jisoo smiles back, "Are you gonna stay here tonight?"

"I can't."

"Alright," Jisoo sighs. "You can come pick your stuff up whenever you want."

"Thanks."

Jungkook smiles one last time before rushing to his room. He can't stand being in this house anymore. He feels lonely and uncomfortable. He just wants to be somewhere where he feels safe for once. A place where he can be himself without fear of being judged.

Jungkook pushes his door open and grabs the gym bag under his bed. He shoves some clothes inside of it without even looking at what he's picking up. He takes his toiletries, his phone charger and another pair of shoes. He doesn't have enough room in his bag to take his camera equipment so he decides to lock his door when he leaves.

He rushes out of the house without casting a glance at the people he passes by. He slams the front door behind him and starts walking towards Taehyung's apartment. It's dark outside, the streets are illuminated by lamposts. There's light coming from the other frat houses in the street who are also getting ready to party.

The cold air soothes the fire burning inside Jungkook's chest. He doesn't understand how he ended up here in such a short time. A few months ago, he thought he had everything under control. Jimin came into his life and destroyed every little thing he had built for himself, like a hurricane.

Jungkook should feel lost but he's never felt more alive.

It feels like a new beginning.

Like he can finally start living.

Jungkook takes his phone out of his pocket and dials Taehyung's number. It only takes two rings for him to answer.

"Jungkook? You okay?"

"I got kicked out of Alpha Sig," Jungkook says it like it's not big deal.

"What the fuck happened?!"

"Can I stay at your place until I figure something out?"

"Yeah, of course, but...," Taehyung pauses, he sounds worried. "Jungkook what happened?"

"I just don't want to be part of it anymore. Most of the guys there are assholes. They act like we're friends when we're drunk but when I'm going through some shit, suddenly they don't know me anymore," Jungkook scoffs, shaking his head.

The people he walks by look at him weirdly. His scent is a mess of anger, joy and constant sadness.

"Are you sure you're not just lashing out because of what happened with Jimin?"

"I can't say it has nothing to do with that," Jungkook chuckles. He knows he must look insane and he feels like it. He shivers from the dried sweat on his skin. He's pretty sure his cheeks are red from anger and effort and his hair is all over the place. "I don't feel like I have anything in common with these guys anymore. There's nothing to talk about with them, all they care about is getting drunk and fucking omegas. I just don't feel like doing all of that anymore."

"Okay," Taehyung sighs. "Well, you can stay at my place for as long as you need."

"Thanks Tae."

"You're my best friend, Kook. Anything for you."

"I'm on my way, I'll be there soon."

"Okay, see you in a bit."

"See you."

Jungkook hangs up and pockets his phone. He's going to Taehyung's. Everything will be okay. He'll figure it out.

Jungkook can learn how to live on his own.

He can learn how to be an adult.

One step closer to being good enough for Jimin.

............&............

The third week without Jimin is a little less painful but it's mostly because Jungkook is too busy with getting his life together.

He doesn't have time to think about Jimin. The only time he does nowadays is when he's lying on Taehyung's couch at night. When he's all alone in the dark in the quiet apartment. The silence is always too loud. That's when Jimin's absence hurts the most.

It takes Jungkook three days to come back to the frat house. He didn't feel like seeing Wonho and Jay. They're even bigger assholes when they're hungover. He goes to the house on a Tuesday morning because he knows almost no one is home. Taehyung comes with him.

"You don't have that many things," Taehyung says as he packs Jungkook's clothes in a suitcase.

"No, it's mostly just clothes, books and my camera equipment."

Jungkook is packing said equipment in the big camera bag his parents gifted him at his high school graduation. It's mostly just lenses and a tripod. He takes the pictures off his wall and slides them in one of his many photo albums.

It feels weird to pack everything after living here for a year and a half. This was the first place he had on his own. He experienced a lot of firsts here. First time living without his parents, first kiss, first time having sex.

First time making love to someone.

Jungkook's heart squeezes in his chest at the thought. Jimin felt so good underneath him that day. Jungkook had never been this happy since he moved to Seoul. The moment was perfect and Jungkook will forever cherish it.

He tries to shake away the thought of Jimin's skin against his, the smell of flowers filling the room and the beautiful sounds coming out of his mouth. Jungkook shivers every time he thinks about it.

"I really need to find a job," Jungkook says. He struggles to fit all of his school books in his backpack.

"I'm sure you'll find something not far from campus."

"I'll try to apply to the coffee shops nearby."

"Maybe, you can find a way to sell your pictures? Or find some gigs where they need a photographer?" Taehyung offers. He makes a face when he picks up Jungkook's underwear to put them in the suitcase.

"That's a good idea actually," Jungkook scratches his head. He can't believe he didn't think of that himself.

"Thanks," Taehyung chuckles. He looks around the room for more clothes but he's got everything. He struggles to close the suitcase but Jungkook ignores him to pick up some mangas and put them in his gym bag.

Jungkook remembers the way Jimin smiled when he saw his manga collection. He didn't think to ask back then but he wonders if Jimin likes them too. There's so much he doesn't know about Jimin, so many things left to discover and he won't get the chance to.

Jungkook thought that time would make the distance hurt less but the longer he is without Jimin the harder it gets. It's like he's slowly realizing he really lost Jimin. He doesn't get to see him anymore.

He wonders how Jimin feels. If he's hurting just as much as he is. If he's able to move on with his life without Jungkook. Knowing him, Jimin is probably pretending to be okay until he starts feeling okay. He probably thinks that, since he has Haewon, he can't allow himself to feel sad.

Jungkook would like to tell him it's okay to be sad, that he should let himself feel, otherwise sooner or later he's going to explode. Jungkook wishes he could take Jimin on his runs. It would probably help him as much as it helps Jungkook, but spending time together would only make things worse for them. It's not like that's even an option anyway.

"I really want to text him," Jungkook blurts out. He can't see Taehyung's reaction because his back is turned to him. Jungkook can feel him moving behind him. "Just to check up on him. I don't know if it'll hurt him or make him feel better. Maybe I'm selfish but I don't want him to forget about me."

"I'm sure he hasn't forgotten about you babe."

"I hope so," Jungkook sighs.

He turns around and throws the gym bag full of books next to Taehyung on the bed. Taehyung bites on his bottom lip, he looks bashful.

"What is it?" Jungkook asks. He sits next to him.

"I know you said to give Jimin space, but I went to see Yoongi hyung anyway."

"When?" Jungkook frowns. He's not mad, he's just wondering why Taehyung didn't say anything.

"Last week," Taehyung stares at Jungkook as if to gauge his reaction.

"What did he say?" Jungkook looks down at his fingers. He's scared of the answer.

"He said that Jimin isn't answering his texts. His friends went to see him once since you guys...," Taehyung gestures towards nothing, "since what happened. He looked exhausted. He hasn't been going to work, he just takes care of his daughter."

Jungkook wants to cry, his wolf wants to howl in pain. His omega is hurting and there's nothing he can do about it. His instincts screams at him to run to Jimin and to hold him in his arms until he's okay again, but he can't do that. Jungkook squeezes his hands into fists and tries to control his breathing. Pain washes over him, he feels so helpless and useless. He hurt Jimin. He did this. He's a terrible alpha.

"Jungkook," Taehyung wraps his arm around Jungkook's shoulders who's started to rock back and forth. "Baby, come on. He's not alone, okay. His friends are taking care of him. He's going to be okay eventually."

"I hate this," Jungkook says. He sounds breathless. "He's probably beating himself up. He's hurting and there's nothing I can do."

Taehyung hugs him to his side and runs a hand up and down his arm. Jungkook rests his head against Taehyung's shoulder. He breathes in the sweet scent of vanilla that always brings him comfort.

"I know, I know baby," Taehyung whispers against the top of his head. He rocks Jungkook gently, like a parent would do to their baby to soothe them.

Jungkook's breathing slows down but his chest still hurts. He just wants to see Jimin. He wants to comfort him, to tell him everything is going to be okay, to make him smile. Jimin shouldn't feel sad ever. Jungkook wants to be with him so bad because he knows he could make him the happiest. Jimin won't let him and it's killing him.

"I want to text him," Jungkook breathes out. "I just want to tell him that I don't hate him because he probably thinks I do. I don't know what to do Taehyung. I hate knowing he's hurting because of me."

"You could text him," Taehyung says. Jungkook's surprised he's not telling him not to do it. "He might not answer though."

"Yeah, but at least he knows I'm okay."

Jungkook isn't okay but he's willing to lie to make Jimin feel better. He's willing to do anything to make Jimin hurt less.

"You're a good boy Jungkookie," Taehyung pets his head and it makes Jungkook smile.

"I know."

Taehyung holds him until Jungkook calms down. It takes him thirty minutes but they're in no rush. When Jungkook doesn't feel like his legs are going to give out if he stands up anymore, the two of them gather all of the bags.

All of Jungkook's belongings fit in a suitcase, two backpacks, a gym bag and a camera bag. Jungkook takes one last look at his room. His mind fills with images of laughter. He has a lot of good memories in this room as well as bad memories, but he decides to only take the good ones with him and to leave the bad ones behind.

It's a bittersweet feeling, saying goodbye to a year and half of his life.

He's ready to start a new chapter.

When Jungkook closes the front door of Alpha Sig's house, he doesn't look back.

There's nothing here for him anymore.

That night when he's all alone in the dark in Taehyung's apartment again, he thinks of Jimin.

So much has happened in such little time and Jimin doesn't know about it. Does he wonder what Jungkook is doing? Does he think Jungkook forgot about him?

Jungkook hopes not.

He hopes that Jimin knows he would never forget about him. He hopes that Jimin knows he hasn't moved on, that he can't move on.

Jungkook is tired of hoping.

He grabs his phone on the coffee table and opens Jimin's contacts. He ignores the last text he's received from him three weeks ago and types a new one.

To jimin nom nom:
hey
i just wanted to check up on you
i hope you're not beating yourself up too much
we're both sad but i just want you to know that i don't hate you
i really don't
i miss you a lot of course but i'm doing pretty good
i'm trying to be okay
i hope you're taking care of yourself
please make sure you eat well and rest
goodnight jiminie ♥

............&............

Jimin tries not to cry when he reads Jungkook's texts. It feels like his heart is getting crushed all over again. He swallows the lump in his throat and drops his phone on the couch. He doesn't have the strength to talk to Jungkook. He doesn't have the strength to talk to anyone.

It's been three weeks and things aren't getting better. He still feels like he can't breathe most of the time. He tries his best to take care of himself, to eat when he's not hungry, to sleep when he's not tired. Except he's always tired. He's exhausted, he hurts and he doesn't know how to make it better.

He just wants it to stop hurting so much.

Jimin misses Jungkook. He misses him bad. He didn't realize the boy had become such a big part of his life. They used to talk every day, they used to think about each other every day. Jimin still thinks about Jungkook every day but it doesn't feel the same. He used to feel warm when he thought about Jungkook but now he feels cold. He feels frozen.

He doesn't know how to move on. He doesn't know how to stop hating himself.

He hates himself for being so scared of taking risks but he mostly hates himself for letting Jungwoo control him. It's been 6 years since they broke up and Jimin still has to live with the scars Jungwoo left behind. Jungwoo gave Jimin Haewon but he also gave him self-doubt, insecurities and a fear of abandonment.

He's only holding on because of Haewon. He doesn't really have a choice but to be there for her. He only exists because of her. He only knows how to be a parent. Without Haewon, Jimin doesn't know who he is, he has no purpose.

Sometimes he wonders where he'd be in his life if he didn't meet Jungwoo and if he didn't have Haewon. Jimin doesn't really know what type of person he would be. If he would be totally carefree or if he'd still be weary. Would he be more ambitious, more career driven? Or would he want to find true love, settle down, have pups? Maybe he'd be both. Maybe he can be anything he wants to be if he's brave enough.

"...mmy. Mommy!"

Jimin startles out of his thoughts when he feels Haewon's small hand on his knee. She's looking at him with concern in her eyes and Jimin hates himself even more for making her worry.

"Sorry, baby. Come here," Jimin says, extending his arms to pick her up and sit her in his lap.

Haewon kisses Jimin's cheek before resting her head against his shoulder. Jimin hugs her closer to his chest. Warmth washes over Jimin's heart every time he holds his daughter in his arms.

"Did you need anything, baby?" Jimin says, nuzzling the top of her head.

"You smell sad," Haewon answers.

Jimin's heart tightens in his chest. He feels guilty that his feelings are affecting Haewon. She shouldn't have to smell sadness in Jimin's scent, she shouldn't have to worry about him. Haewon takes one of Jimin's hands in her own smaller ones to play with his fingers. It makes him smile.

"I'm sorry, baby," Jimin whispers.

"Why are you sad, mommy?"

Jimin can smell distress in her scent and it makes his stomach churn with anxiety. He tries his best to control his scent, releasing calming pheromones to comfort her.

"It's nothing. Mommy's going to be okay soon, I promise. Don't worry."

Haewon doesn't say anything for a while but she seems deep in thought. She's frowning and pouting like she's trying to make sense of the situation. Haewon's only eight but she's already an overthinker, just like Jimin. Jimin wished she didn't get this trait from him because he knows it's going to make her life difficult.

Suddenly, her eyes light up and she looks up at Jimin.

"Can you invite Jungkook oppa to our house?" she asks.

To say that Jimin's surprised by the request is an understatement. He didn't think Haewon even remembered Jungkook because their first meeting was very brief. She never mentioned him again after that.

"You remember Jungkook?" Jimin finds it hard to even say his name.

"The alpha that smelled like you."

Jimin can't help but blush at the words.

"Yes. Why do you want to invite him over, baby?"

"You smelled really happy when he was here," Haewon says and Jimin's heart shatters into a million pieces. "You smelled like a beautiful garden. You've never smelled like that before, mommy."

Jimin has to hold back tears for what feels like the millionth time these past weeks. Jimin always forgets how perceptive and attuned to him Haewon is. Haewon knows him best, always knows when something's wrong, when he needs comfort. She knows not to test his patience when Jimin is frustrated or angry. No matter how hard Jimin tries to hide his feelings, Haewon always knows. She doesn't mention it but she knows.

"And now you smell really sad. Like faded flowers," Haewon says with a small voice and a sad expression on her face that breaks Jimin's heart. "Is he not your boyfriend anymore, mommy?"

"He wasn't my boyfriend," Jimin's voice breaks, "he was just a friend, baby."

"I think he likes you, mommy. I saw when daddy was angry. Jungkook oppa protected you," she looks sheepish when she says it because she knows she wasn't supposed to see.

"Weren't you supposed to be in your room?" Jimin raises an eyebrow at her but he looks amused, not angry.

"I'm sorry, mommy. I didn't want you and daddy to fight again," Haewon whines, a pout on her lips.

"It's okay, baby," Jimin says, running his fingers through her dark hair.

"Do you like Jungkook oppa?" Haewon asks and the question catches him off guard.

"Um," Jimin hesitates, "he's really nice. He's smart and he's funny. I liked spending time with him," Jimin hates that like turned into liked .

"He's pretty," Haewon says and that makes Jimin laugh, "you should make him your boyfriend, mommy."

"I can't, baby," Jimin smiles at her but it's a sad one.

"Yes, you can. He likes you and you like him. Just ask him to be your boyfriend," she says determinedly before resting her head against Jimin's shoulder.

"It's not that simple, Haewon," Jimin rests his cheek on her head.

"I don't want you to be alone forever, mommy."

Jimin's breath gets caught in his throat and he feels cold all over. Haewon's never mentioned Jimin's lack of romantic partners before and it leaves him speechless. He didn't think that she was bothered by the fact that Jimin doesn't have a mate or isn't seeing anyone. It's always been just the two of them. It's never crossed his mind that she might want to see Jimin with someone.

"I have you, baby," Jimin mumbles.

"Are you scared he will leave?" Haewon asks and it feels like Jimin's being hit by a brick.

"What?" his voice trembles when he speaks.

"Are you scared he will leave like daddy did?"

"Haewon," Jimin says but he doesn't know how to answer this question.

Jimin doesn't know how to feel about his daughter's perceptiveness. He's tried so hard to hide his fear of abandonment from her but all this time she knew.

"People don't always leave, mommy. Seokjin oppa has Namjoon oppa and Hoseok oppa has Yoongi oppa. They don't leave because they love each other, right? Maybe if you love Jungkook oppa, he won't leave."

Jimin feels like he's about to drown. Haewon is too young to think about these things, it's not her role to comfort Jimin and to teach him things. Jimin feels sad because he wishes he didn't make things so complicated.

"Some people leave even when you love them, baby," Jimin says, on the verge of tears.

"Yes but that's okay because you have me and I have you, mommy. We always have each other."

A sob escapes Jimin's mouth and tears come streaming down his face. He bites his lips to stop himself from sobbing even more and tries to wipe the tears away from his face with his hand.

"Don't cry, mommy," Haewon says before nuzzling Jimin's scent gland.

She wraps her arms around Jimin's neck and Jimin tightens his arms around her small body. Jimin cries harder when he smells his daughter's comforting peach scent. She releases calming pheromones and Jimin buries his nose in her scent gland.

Jimin has underestimated his daughter's intelligence and strength. He keeps people away because he doesn't want her to get hurt but he never considered the fact that she didn't want him to get hurt. All of her life, she's been Jimin's rock and Jimin didn't think she was aware of it.

Jimin thinks that an eight year old shouldn't be anybody's rock. He doesn't want to be a burden for Haewon, he just wants her to be happy.

But maybe Haewon can't truly be happy if Jimin isn't happy.

Haewon runs her fingers through Jimin's hair, gently petting his head until Jimin's cries die down. Jimin moves away from her neck and wipes his tears with the sleeves of his sweater. He has a headache but somehow he feels lighter. Haewon looks up to stroke Jimin's cheek with her small hand. She smiles at Jimin and it warms his heart.

"I'm sorry, baby. I didn't mean to cry," his voice is still shaky but he doesn't feel like crying anymore.

"It's okay, mommy," she says before kissing his cheek.

"You're so smart, you know that? I love you so much," Jimin mutters.

"I love you too," Haewon's smile never leaves her face.

"You're right. Mommy's scared Jungkook will leave like daddy did. I don't want us to get attached because then we'll be sad if he leaves. I don't want you to be sad ever," Jimin strokes her cheek with a thumb.

"If Jungkook leaves and I'm sad, it's okay because you always make me happy, mommy. I think you shouldn't be scared of people leaving us. I'm not scared."

His daughter is brave and headstrong, things he wishes he could be. If she isn't scared of being abandoned, why should he be? He's scared of being hurt as much as he's scared of Haewon being hurt, but, somehow, she's not. No matter how hard Jimin tries to protect her from heartbreak, he can't control everything and Haewon is bound to get hurt in her life anyway.

The difference is that she's not afraid of the obstacles she will have to face. She's still young and life doesn't scare children as much as it scares adults, but Jimin wishes he could be like her. He wants to be like her.

"You think I should give Jungkook a chance?" Jimin asks.

"Yes because he makes you really happy and I want you to be really happy," Haewon grins at him before hugging him.

"Thank you, baby."

They hold each other for a long time after that, watching TV and comforting each other.

Haewon's scent relaxes Jimin and for the first time in years, he feels like he can finally breathe.

............&............

The fourth week without Jimin is actually the hardest because Jungkook realizes it's been a month since he last saw him.

A month sounds like a lot and it feels like a lot.

It's been a week since he sent these texts to Jimin and he never got an answer. Deep down he knew he wouldn't get one but it still hurt. He's glad Jimin knows he doesn't hate him though.

Jungkook managed to find a job, which is the only good thing that's happened in a month. He works at a coffee shop called Namu Coffee, situated only five minutes away from campus and ten minutes away from Taehyung's apartment.

He didn't tell his parents he doesn't live in the Alpha Sig's house anymore because he doesn't want to worry them. Jungkook wants to figure this out on his own. He needs to.

He gets used to his new routine. School and work. He gets used to a life without Jimin. It pains him to say so.

He's okay.

Or, at least, he wants to be.

It's 6PM when Jungkook's world is turned upside down all over again.

The café is pretty quiet, there's only four people there. A couple and two students sat at different tables. Jungkook's been here since 3PM, came straight from his economics class. The place smells strongly of coffee and cinnamon rolls. Jungkook is looking out the window while absentmindedly cleaning a table when his phone buzzes in his pocket. He ignores it for now. His break is in five minutes anyway.

It's probably just Taehyung asking him to pick up some food on the way home.

Jungkook finishes cleaning the dirty tables before emptying a trash can. He walks to the counter with the heavy trash bag in his hand.

"Jieun noona," Jungkook calls. The omega turns to him from where she's making a latte. "I'm taking my break now. I'll be outside."

"Okay, Kook-ah," she smiles and points to the display of pastries, "you can take a cookie if you want."

"I'm fine, thank you."

He smiles at her and she nods before going back to her latte. Jungkook walks in the back and takes a door that leads to a back alley behind the coffee shop. He throws the trash bag in one of the big dumpsters and leans against the wall. He fills his lungs with cold air before exhaling slowly.

He's been watching breathing exercises videos to help him relax when he's feeling too much lately. It works most of the time but the pain never really subsides.

Jungkook fishes his phone out of his back pocket and blinks at his screen.

His heart starts racing and his palms become sweaty. He leans away from the wall and holds his phone with two hands. They're shaking. He shivers in cold sweat and he's beginning to feel dizzy. So many emotions swirl in his brain, he feels like he's drowning. Joy, sadness, anxiety, fear. He feels like he might be hallucinating.

Jimin.

Jimin texted him back.

Jungkook struggles to unlock his phone because his hands are shaking too much. He's scared of opening the texts because he doesn't know how they'll affect him. They could destroy all of the progress he's made since Jimin ended things. Jungkook can't go through it all over again, not when he's finally starting to get his life back together.

He can't not read Jimin's texts either.

Jungkook takes a deep breath and opens them.

From jimin nom nom:
hi jungkookie
thank you for checking up on me
i miss you too
a lot
i haven't been doing very good this past month
it hit me harder than i expected
it feels weird not having you in my life
i don't like that feeling very much
i feel better now though
a little someone helped me see things differently
you were right
my truth is that i have feelings for you but i'm scared that you'll leave me
i always thought i was scared about how that could affect haewon
but i think i'm more concerned about it could affect me
i don't like being scared and i don't want to be
i think it'll take some time for me not to be scared but even if i have to be
i think i want to be scared with you
i want to try jungkook
will you give me a chance?

Jungkook almost drops his phone on the floor. His legs almost give out.

But for the first time in a month, his heart doesn't drop.

Jungkook doesn't know what to do with himself, he's staring at his phone, his hands are still shaking. He doesn't even notice the tears streaming down his face until he blinks and he realizes his lashes are wet. A sob escapes Jungkook's throat, he doesn't try to muffle it.

His heart soars. The knots that have been permanently stuck in his stomach for the past month disappear. His chest feels light. He feels like he can finally breathe.

Jungkook quickly wipes the tears off of his face. It's no time to cry. Jungkook smiles instead. He doesn't stop smiling. He smiles so big his cheeks ache.

Jungkook doesn't think twice before dialing Jimin's number.

He almost starts crying again when he hears his voice.

"Jungkook," Jimin breathes out. His name has never sounded this beautiful. Jungkook shivers. He's talking to Jimin. He's not dreaming.

"Jimin."

Jimin chuckles and Jungkook can't stop a stray tear from rolling down his face. Jimin is okay, he's laughing, he's okay.

"Hi," Jimin whispers.

"I miss you so much," Jungkook's voice is so raw Jimin can probably tell he's crying.

"I miss you so much too."

None of them know what to say but hearing each other breathe is enough. It's more than okay. It's everything. Jungkook can't believe he's talking to Jimin. His voice sounds even more beautiful than he remembers.

He doesn't understand what made Jimin change his mind but he doesn't care. Jimin isn't hurting. Jimin wants to give them a chance.

"Jungkook?" Jimin says timidly.

"Yes?"

"Are you giving me a chance?"

Jungkook's breath catches in his throat for a second and then he laughs. It's a laugh of relief, a laugh of joy and a laugh of disbelief.

"Yes, Jimin. A hundred times yes," Jungkook has stopped crying and he's smiling again. He's a mess. A happy and beautiful mess.

"Thank you Kook," Jimin says. Jungkook can tell he's smiling too. "I'm so sorry I made you sad. I never meant to hurt you. I never thought it would get to this."

"Who would have thought, huh?" Jungkook chuckles. He's pacing, he probably looks like a madman. He's too excited to stay in place. "The frat boy and the milf. It sounds like a recipe for disaster."

"It does," Jimin laughs.

"I'm not a frat boy anymore. You're still a milf though."

"What do you mean? What happened?" Jimin sounds concerned. It makes Jungkook smile. His alpha is pleased.

"I got kicked out. Or, I left. I'm not really sure, but I'm out."

"Why did you leave?"

"It just wasn't for me anymore," Jungkook shrugs. "It doesn't matter though. We can talk about that another time. Just," he licks his lips, thinking over his words carefully, "thank you for trying. I promise I won't let you down, Jimin. I'll try as hard as you do. We can take it slow okay. One step at a time, at your own pace."

Jimin stays silent for so long Jungkook has to check his phone to make sure he didn't hang up. Anxiety fills his chest the more Jimin stays silent.

"Jimin?"

"You're amazing, Jungkook," Jimin sounds emotional. Jungkook wants to hold him in his arms. "I really don't deserve you."

"Hey," Jungkook breathes out, frowning even though Jimin can't see him. "First step to recovery is no more self-deprecating. I don't want you to think you're worth less than me because that's not true and I'm not worth more than you either. You're amazing too and you deserve to be treated nicely. You deserve to be appreciated Jimin. Everyone does."

"You're nothing like I ever expected you to be. You're just so," Jimin pauses and Jungkook waits patiently. "You're so beautiful. You're a beautiful person."

"Thank you," Jungkook breathes out. No one's ever told him he's beautiful the way Jimin does. He's not sure he believes it but Jimin seems to think he is. "So are you."

"Thank you."

Jungkook's storm of emotions has settled a little. Joy, fondness, happiness. Those are similar emotions. It's easier for Jungkook to think now.

"Can we see each other?" he asks. "I need to see you."

"I really need to see you too. I," Jimin sighs, "I'm not free until saturday."

"It's fine," Jungkook blurts out. "As long as I get to see you." It makes Jimin laugh. "I'll take you on a date. An actual date."

"I'd love that."

"Saturday then?"

"Saturday."

The door of the back alley opens to reveal an annoyed Jieun. Jungkook curses under his breath and waves at her to tell her he's coming. She rolls her eyes but Jungkook knows she's not actually mad. She's grown very fond of him already.

"I have to go," Jungkook tries not to sound as disappointed as he feels.

"Okay. Thank you Jungkook. I can't wait to see you."

"I can't wait to see you too. I'm going crazy without you."

Jimin laughs, "Yeah, I get that."

"See you soon, Jiminie."

"See you soon, Jungkookie."

They hang up at the same time. Jungkook hates having to say goodbye to Jimin again but this time it's only for a few days.

Jungkook takes a deep breath, filling his lungs with cold air again.

It's not a breathing exercise this time because for once he's able to breathe without feeling like he's about to drown.

It's like taking a deep breath after being underwater for too long.

Jungkook feels light even though his world just got spun off its axis all over again.

............&............

Saturday doesn't come quick enough.

Jimin has been buzzing with excitement the entire week. He still can't believe he's going to see Jungkook after so long. He can't believe he's being brave enough to give him a chance.

When Saturday comes, Jimin is overjoyed.

When the doorbell rings, Jimin is nervous.

It's a good kind of nervous though, something akin to excitement. He hasn't seen Jungkook in a month and he doesn't know how he'll react. It's the first time they see each other since they admitted their feelings to each other.

When Jimin opens the door, his breath gets caught in his throat. Jungkook looks beautiful. He's wearing black skinny jeans, a black shirt tucked in his pants and a black leather jacket. Jungkook chuckles when Jimin gapes at him for a little too long.

"Hi baby," Jungkook says, smiling at Jimin.

"Hi! Sorry, come in," Jimin smiles back and steps aside to let him in. "You look really handsome," he says before closing the door.

Jungkook turns around and smirks at him, "Thanks. I actually put in effort this time."

"I can see that."

They smile at each other but they don't say anything else. Jimin's heart is racing and his omega is begging him to just throw himself at the alpha. Jungkook smells amazing, his scent makes Jimin shiver. It's so rich and comforting, it feels like coming home. Jungkook's gaze is intense and Jimin can tell he's holding himself back too.

The attraction has always been there so it's no surprise that there's sexual tension in the air but it's more than that. Now everything's out in the open, it's not just about sex anymore. Jimin wants to spend time with Jungkook, get to know him better, as much as he wants to scent him, mark him and bite him. He's always been weary, keeping Jungkook at arm's length and now that he can let go, he doesn't know what to do.

When the silence becomes too much Jimin clears his throat. "So, where are you taking me?" he asks, taking a step forward to go into the living room but Jungkook doesn't move. His scent is even more prominent up close.

"It's a surprise," Jungkook says, stepping closer to Jimin. His voice is low and his eyes are so dark it makes heat prickle on Jimin's skin.

Jimin steps back when Jungkook's scent and presence becomes too much for him to think straight. It makes Jungkook smirk as he takes another step towards Jimin. Everytime Jungkook takes a step forward, Jimin takes one backward until his back hits the door. He gasps when he realizes he has nowhere to go. Jungkook looks at him like a predator looks at prey.

Jimin's breath hitches when Jungkook stops a few inches away from him. Their noses and chests are almost touching. Their eyes never leave each other and Jimin can see how hungry Jungkook is. He can smell it too. His scent is strong and there's so many emotions permeating it, Jimin can't tell them apart. He can definitely smell arousal though and he's pretty sure his scent is no better.

Jungkook cages Jimin in against the door, resting his hands on each side of his shoulders. Heat pools at the pit of Jimin's stomach because Jungkook looks so big like this. He looks big but not menacing, there's a hint of softness and awe in his eyes that's always there when he looks at Jimin.

"I missed you," Jungkook whispers and his hot breath hits Jimin's lips, making him shiver.

"Missed you too," Jimin lisps and his voice is so breathy it's almost inaudible.

Jungkook moves imperceptibly closer but waits for Jimin's reaction before doing anything else. Jimin doesn't stop him.

Jimin thinks Jungkook's going to kiss him, eyes fluttering in anticipation but instead he tilts his head to the side and nuzzles his cheek. His lips brush against Jimin's jaw and Jimin leans into the touch, wanting to feel Jungkook's lips on his skin.

"You smell so good, baby," Jungkook mumbles against Jimin's ear before leaving a trail of kisses on his jaw and cheek.

Jimin closes his eyes and leans his head against the door to let Jungkook do whatever he wants. Jungkook purrs approvingly when Jimin's body goes lax under his touch.

Jimin wants to touch Jungkook, wants to fist his shirt and pull him even closer. He knows that if he does, the both of them won't be able to stop until they've made a mess of themselves and Jimin's bedsheets. He wouldn't be opposed to it but Jungkook's planned a whole date for them and he doesn't want it to go to waste just because he can't keep it in his pants.

They could just scent each other a little and then go out. Really, they could. They're totally capable of keeping their hands to themselves for a few hours. Probably. Maybe.

"We should go," Jimin tries to say but his voice breaks on the words. It's hard to sound convincing when every fiber in his body wants Jungkook to pin him to this door and fuck him.

"We should," Jungkook says but he doesn't move away. If anything he steps even closer and nuzzles his cheek harder which makes Jimin giggle.

Jungkook makes a noise in the back of his throat that sounds like a mix of a growl and a whine. Jungkook rests his forehead against Jimin's, his pupils are dilated and he looks like he's high on Jimin's scent.

"Jungkook," Jimin says, hands hovering over Jungkook's hips.

"Let me kiss you," Jungkook's voice is scratchy and his body radiates so much heat, Jimin almost feels like he can't breathe. "Please," Jungkook breathes out, "just one kiss."

Jimin wants to tease. He wants to refuse Jungkook and make him wait until he can't take it anymore, but the desperate edge to Jungkook's voice breaks his resolve.

Jimin launches himself at Jungkook, meeting him in a burning kiss. Their teeth clack at the impact but it doesn't deter them. Jungkook growls deep in his throat and his hands grip Jimin's hips hard. Jimin wraps his arms around Jungkook's neck and tries to keep up with the fast pace of the kiss.

Jungkook forces Jimin's mouth open with his tongue before biting on his bottom lip, almost hard enough to draw blood. The kiss lacks any finesse, it's just hungry and almost animalistic in the way it's driven purely by dark instincts. They want to touch, bruise and claim.

Jimin pushes Jungkook's jacket off of his shoulders without breaking the kiss. He knows they're not going anywhere tonight. Jungkook barely has time to throw his jacket on the floor before Jimin starts untucking his shirt from his pants. Jungkook breaks the kiss when Jimin's hands slide under his shirt, running over his heated skin.

"What are you doing, baby?" Jungkook asks, a smug smile on his face.

Jimin is panting against Jungkook's bitten red lips, nails digging in the skin of his back to bring him closer. Jimin hates that Jungkook thinks he can tease him in a moment like this. Jimin doesn't have the patience for that right now, all he wants is to get Jungkook naked and to feel him inside him.

"Just shut up and fuck me, Jungkook," Jimin says as he rocks his hips against Jungkook's. He can feel how hard Jungkook is already.

"What about our date?" Jungkook smirks and Jimin hates it.

"Jungkook. If you don't fuck me right now, I'm not letting you touch me for a whole other month, okay? Just... keep quiet and look pretty while I take your clothes off, yeah?" Jimin gives him a fake smile before pulling Jungkook's shirt up his chest but Jungkook doesn't lift his arms to help him.

"Did you miss my cock so bad that you can't even wait for me to take you on a date before begging for it?" Jungkook taunts in a low voice, eyes getting even darker.

"I didn't beg," Jimin talks back even though he knows it won't sit well with Jungkook's alpha.

"Not yet," Jungkook smiles darkly as he wraps a hand around Jimin's throat. The back of Jimin's head hits the door and he gasps when he feels slick pool at his hole. Jungkook isn't applying any pressure around his throat but the gesture is dominant enough to make Jimin whine.

"Don't," Jimin whispers. Jungkook's expression softens as he starts unwrapping his hand from around Jimin's throat. Jimin holds his wrist to keep his hand in place and Jungkook looks confused. "Not this," Jimin says, "just, don't tease me. I missed you so much, I just want to feel you."

Jungkook looks at him for a long time, trying to figure out if Jimin's being sincere or if he's just playing their usual game of push and pull. He seems to find his answer in Jimin's eyes.

Jungkook's hand moves to cup Jimin's jaw, rubbing his cheek with his thumb. Jimin smiles before kissing him again. There's still a hint of desperation in the kiss even though it's gentler. Their lips slide against each other and their hands are everywhere.

Jungkook chases after Jimin's lips when he breaks the kiss. Jimin gives him a quick peck before pushing him away to put some distance between their bodies. Jungkook frowns and tries to pull Jimin towards him by the hips, catching his lips in another kiss.

"Jungkook," Jimin giggles in between kisses, "bedroom."

"Let's just do it here," Jungkook breathes out, groping Jimin's ass.

"I want to ride you."

"Okay, let's go," Jungkook says suddenly.

Jimin laughs because he's so easy to convince. Jungkook lifts Jimin up off of the floor and Jimin wraps his legs around his waist. Jungkook beams at Jimin before peppering kisses all over his cheek and jaw. Jungkook starts to walk into the apartment but stops when he doesn't know where to go.

"Down the hall," Jimin says before burying his nose in Jungkook's neck.

It doesn't take long for Jungkook to find his way around and when they enter Jimin's bedroom, Jungkook's scent spikes up. It smells incredible and Jimin's never felt more aroused and safe in his entire life. Jimin licks the area above Jungkook's scent gland, tasting his soft skin. Jungkook growls low in his throat before falling onto the bed.

Jimin's head hits the pillows and he unwraps his legs from Jungkook's waist. Jungkook rearranges himself over Jimin before kissing him. Jimin moans into the kiss and buries his hands in Jungkook's hair. Jungkook kisses him hungrily, he sucks on Jimin's lips and slides his hands under Jimin's shirt, making him shiver.

"Your scent is everywhere," Jungkook says when he breaks the kiss. He almost looks agitated. "It smells so fucking good. You smell so fucking good."

Jungkook's looking at Jimin's neck with hungry eyes. Jimin can tell he's fighting against his alpha instincts. Jungkook wants to bury his face in Jimin's neck and leave his scent all over him.

"Do it," Jimin says, heart racing in his chest.

"What?" Jungkook's eyes leave Jimin's neck and confusion is written all over his face.

"Do it."

"Do what, baby?"

The words get stuck in Jimin's throat but not because he doesn't mean them. He hasn't allowed anyone to scent him other than Haewon for the past 8 years. Part of that is because he didn't want to confuse Haewon but it's not the only reason. The last alpha that scented him was Jungwoo and Jimin was always left feeling vulnerable and needy when that happened. Jungwoo had a tendency of disappearing when Jimin needed him the most.

If Jungkook scents him, Jimin will need him. He will need to feel him close and to hold him. He will need him in such a visceral way it scares him. Jimin doesn't like to be lead by his needs, it makes him feel like he's not in control.

He wants Jungkook though and he knows that he can't truly have him if he doesn't let him in.

"Scent me," Jimin can't help the shakiness in his voice.

"Jimin," Jungkook sounds hesitant as he scrutinizes Jimin's face, "I don't have to scent you."

Jimin has to stop a pathetic whine from escaping his mouth. His omega wants to flee, rejection cutting deeper than he expected. Jungkook's eyes widen when Jimin's scent sours.

"Jimin-"

"It's fine," Jimin cuts him off.

"I want to scent you," Jungkook's voice is firm, "but I want you to want it too."

Jimin frowns, "I do want it."

"Are you sure?" Jungkook raises an eyebrow inquisitively.

"I wouldn't ask you to do it if I wasn't sure," Jimin licks his lips, "I'm just nervous."

"Why?" Jungkook's expression softens. He cups Jimin's face with a hand and rubs a thumb over his cheek. Jimin's eyes flutter at the soft touch.

"I get needy when I get scented which," Jimin says, "can be annoying. I don't want to be annoying."

"You're telling me this." Jungkook points a finger at his own face. "I'm pretty sure I'm the neediest alpha ever. I don't mind needy, I like needy."

Jungkook smiles at him and rubs their noses together which makes Jimin chuckle. Jungkook always manages to make Jimin feel better with simple touches. He always says the right words and Jimin hopes he can do the same to Jungkook in the future.

"Okay," Jimin says, eyes never leaving Jungkook's face.

"I know it's easier said than done but, don't overthink this." Jungkook kisses Jimin's forehead, "Stop trying to control your feelings. It's the one thing you can't control. Feelings make you vulnerable but they don't make you weak."

Jimin is always overwhelmed when Jungkook says things like this. It feels like Jungkook is inside his brain and Jimin doesn't understand how someone like him can be so perceptive. Jimin's pretty sure college students aren't supposed to be this wise. Or maybe, he's too judgmental. It's not like adults his age have everything figured out. It feels like he's more lost now that he's 27 than he was when he was 21.

Still, Jimin would have never thought he'd ever seek comfort from someone like Jungkook. Guys like Jungkook are supposed to lack empathy and make stupid decisions.

He might not lack empathy but choosing to be with a 28-year-old with a kid and commitment issues is definitely a stupid decision.

"You're amazing," Jimin doesn't pretend to hide how in awe he is when he says it. Jungkook's in his brain anyway, he would know.

"You're amazing too," Jungkook smiles and kisses the tip of Jimin's nose, "you just don't want to believe it."

Jimin pulls Jungkook into a kiss, arms wrapped around his neck. Their lips slide together softly and both of their scents sweeten. Jimin melts against the mattress, every muscle in his body relaxing. One of Jungkook's hands settle on Jimin's waist and the other is buried in his hair. The weight of Jungkook's body against his own is grounding. Jungkook is warm and makes Jimin feel safe like a fuzzy blanket.

Jimin's still horny and still wants to feel Jungkook but he doesn't feel desperate anymore. Jungkook isn't going anywhere, he wants to be here with Jimin. He's not going to leave, at least not tonight. One step at a time, Jimin can do this. He can let himself have this.

Jimin breaks the kiss albeit reluctantly, "I want you to scent me, Jungkook. Please."

Jungkook searches Jimin's eyes for any hint of doubt but Jimin knows he won't find any.

"Okay," Jungkook nods before kissing Jimin again.

It's just a brush of their lips and a playful bite on Jimin's bottom lip before he trails kisses down Jimin's cheek and jaw. They're featherlike and make Jimin shiver. Jimin tilts his head to the side to present his neck and his omega preens when Jungkook purrs in satisfaction.

Jimin's breath hitches when he feels Jungkook's lips against his neck, just below his ear. Jungkook takes his time leaving kisses all over the soft skin until he reaches Jimin's scent gland at the juncture between his neck and shoulder. Jungkook's lips hover over that spot for a while, hot breaths coming out of his parted lips and hitting Jimin's heated skin.

Jimin's body thrums with anticipation. His scent becomes more potent as if to lure Jungkook in, his omega sending signals to Jungkook's alpha without his permission. The room is silent except for the sound of their heavy breathing.

Jungkook inhales deeply and his body goes taut, a deep growl rumbling in his chest. Jimin whines and exposes more of his neck, submitting himself to the alpha. Jimin can feel slick pool at his hole and he tries to squeeze his legs shut but Jungkook's lying in between them.

Jungkook mouths at Jimin's scent gland, parted lips brushing against his skin. Heat settles in the pit of Jimin's stomach when he feels Jungkook's tongue lapping at his skin. Jungkook leaves open mouthed kisses all over his scent gland and the purring sounds more and more like growling.

Jimin doesn't dare touch Jungkook or move in fear of disturbing him. Jimin can tell that Jungkook's alpha has taken over. It's in the way his body is pinning Jimin to the bed and in the way he fists the sheets on each side of his head.

Jimin has to bite back a moan when Jungkook's scent becomes stronger, mixing with Jimin's for a few seconds before erasing it completely. Jungkook rubs his nose against Jimin's scent gland over and over again, occasionally nipping at the skin.

Jungkook kisses down Jimin's neck, pushing the collar of his shirt to the side to expose his shoulder. His kisses are heated and involve a lot of tongue and teeth. Jimin's back arches off the bed when Jungkook sucks a hickey just under his collarbone, hands flying off to grip Jungkook's shirt.

The smell of Jimin's arousal is getting harder to ignore, the stream of slick soaking his underwear. Jungkook's mumbling incoherent words against Jimin's shoulder, getting impatient when Jimin's shirt stops him from sucking more marks into his skin.

Jungkook unbuttons Jimin's shirt, kissing down his body all the way to his navel. He runs his hands all over Jimin's chest, thumbs teasing at his nipples and making Jimin moan. Jimin tries his best to get rid of his shirt while Jungkook kisses every inch of skin he can find before lying back down on the bed.

"Jungkook, come on," Jimin breathes out. He's too impatient for foreplay, he needs Jungkook inside of him right now.

Jungkook growls against Jimin's stomach, clearly unhappy with his impatience. Jimin buries his fingers in Jungkook's hair and pulls on it to make him look up. He gasps when Jungkook takes hold of his wrists and pins them to the bed on each side of his head. Jungkook's eyes are dark with lust and Jimin can't stop the whine that comes out of his mouth.

"You really need to learn your place, omega," Jungkook's gravelly voice sends a shiver down Jimin's spine.

Omega. Jungkook's never called Jimin that before. Jimin's not even sure Jungkook realizes he says the word. He's purely driven by his alpha instincts and wants his omega to submit to him. A wave of arousal hits Jimin and warmth spreads all over his body. His breathing is erratic and all he wants is for Jungkook to take him.

Jimin isn't scared of Jungkook because his show of dominance isn't aggressive. He's desperate, touch-starved and it's his alpha's way of asking Jimin to let him kiss, touch and feel him. He needs Jimin as much as Jimin needs him.

Jimin wants to please the alpha so he decides to let him have his way with him. Jimin will act like a perfect little omega just for him.

Jimin whines and exposes his neck to beg for forgiveness. Jungkook's expression softens at the display and nuzzles Jimin's scent gland, purring deep in his chest to reassure the omega. Jimin smiles when Jungkook scents him again, rubbing his nose all over Jimin's neck. Jimin smells so strongly of Jungkook you would think they were mated. Jimin's heart skips a beat at the thought.

"I want you, alpha," Jimin says in a saccharine voice.

Jungkook growls at being addressed by his status and grinds his hips against Jimin's. They both moan when their neglected cock finally get some friction.

"Please," Jimin whispers, "fuck me. I need you, alpha."

Jungkook catches Jimin's lips in a heated kiss, tongues meeting immediately. Jungkook's still holding Jimin down and it only makes Jimin more turned on. Jungkook's hands feel huge and strong around Jimin's small wrists. Jimin can barely keep up with the kiss as Jungkook licks and bites at his mouth.

Jimin's never felt more wanted in his life than he does right now. Jungkook wants Jimin so much he has no control over himself and if Jimin refused him right now he'd probably be devastated. He'd be left horny and desperate for Jimin, and there's a cruel part of him that wants to leave Jungkook hanging, needy and begging Jimin to let him have him. There's something so arousing about having an alpha at his complete mercy. It makes Jimin feel powerful.

Jungkook breaks the kiss and sits up in between Jimin's legs to unbuckle his belt and open his pants. Jimin barely has time to catch his breath before Jungkook takes the last pieces of his clothing off, leaving him completely naked under his gaze.

Jungkook slides his hands down Jimin's thighs before kissing them. Jimin grips the pillow under his head and closes his eyes, enjoying the feeling of Jungkook's warm lips on his sensitive thighs. Jungkook licks the slick off of Jimin's skin, releasing pleased sounds at the taste.

Jungkook keeps kissing down Jimin's thigh until he finds a tender spot to suck a hickey on. Jimin doesn't know how many marks Jungkook has left on his body so far but he loves the idea of Jungkook claiming him. Anyone who sees these marks will know Jimin's being well taken care of by his alpha.

Jungkook's kisses get closer and closer to Jimin's hole, but they stop before they can reach it. A displeased whine comes out of Jimin's mouth and he frowns when he sees the smug expression on Jungkook's face. Jungkook leaves one last kiss on Jimin's stomach before sitting up.

"What?" Jungkook asks when Jimin starts pouting.

"You're mean," Jimin mumbles.

"I thought you wanted me to fuck you?" Jungkook raises an eyebrow in fake innocence.

"I do," Jimin whines and he has to stop himself from flailing his legs around like a child throwing a tantrum.

"Then," Jungkook says as he pushes a finger inside Jimin, "why are you complaining?"

Jimin gasps and throws his head against the pillow. Jimin hasn't touched himself or been touched in a month and the stretch burns a little but he missed this. Jungkook's fingers are a godsend, they're so long they always reach deep inside of him. Jungkook knows exactly what he's doing with them too which only makes the experience the more worthwhile. Jimin's never really cared for fingering before Jungkook, but now he's pretty sure he could come just from his fingers.

"Hmm, tight," Jungkook says appreciatively.

"I haven't touched myself," Jimin's voice breaks on the last word when Jungkook starts fucking his finger in and out of him.

"Oh yeah? Not once?" Jungkook smirks at Jimin when he shakes his head. "I touched myself a lot, thinking of you this week."

"More, alpha," Jimin asks when one finger isn't enough anymore.

Jungkook pushes a second finger in slowly and the stretch is a little more difficult this time. Jungkook caresses Jimin's thigh in reassurance and it actually helps Jimin to relax. Jimin tries to focus on talking to Jungkook.

"You missed me, didn't you alpha?" Jimin's breath hitches when Jungkook's fingers are all the way in. "Did you think about fucking me when you touched yourself? Did you think of my mouth? Or about how wet I get just for you?"

Jungkook's loud growl surprises Jimin, making him shiver. As if on cue, more slick drips down Jimin's hole and onto Jungkook's hand. Jungkook's nostrils flare and his eyes are trained on his fingers inside of Jimin.

Jungkook starts to move his fingers, fucking them in and out. His pace is faster than he would usually go for if he weren't so turned on but Jimin can take it. Jimin can tell he's desperate to just prep Jimin so he can replace his fingers with his cock.

Jimin's grip on the pillow tightens and a moan escapes his lips when Jungkook crooks his fingers just right, hitting Jimin's prostate. He massages the sweet spot for a few seconds just to indulge Jimin before going back to fucking him. Jungkook's impatience is obvious and it makes Jimin chuckle.

"What's so funny?" Jungkook asks and there's a hint of annoyance in his tone that makes Jimin smile.

"You want me so bad," Jimin says, smirking. He spreads his legs wider and stretches his arms above his head to put himself on display.

Jungkook's heated gaze trails down Jimin's body, looking like he's about to devour him. Jimin's bubbling with excitement, ready for Jungkook to ravish him.

"Stop it," Jungkook says before pushing a third finger inside Jimin.

"Stop what?"

"You're trying to rile me up."

Jimin can barely keep up with the conversation now that Jungkook's fucking him hard and fast with three fingers. He's trying to control his breathing but he can't when moans and whines escape his parted lips. Jimin's so wet he can feel it soaking the sheets. The squelching noise of Jungkook's fingers inside of him is obscene.

"M-maybe I am," Jimin stutters, trying desperately to hold Jungkook's gaze.

"You don't know what I'm capable of, Jimin," Jungkook looks so serious when he says it as if Jimin should be scared.

"I don't think you know what you're capable of either."

It's like a switch flips inside of Jungkook as soon as the words leave Jimin's mouth. Jungkook pulls his fingers out of Jimin and grabs his hips to flip him onto his stomach. Jimin doesn't have time to think about what's happening before Jungkook pulls his hips up and pushes his face down onto the mattress. Jimin does his best to adjust to the new position, spreading his legs and arching his back to present himself.

He hears the telltale sound of a belt being unbuckled and a zipper being opened. Jimin gasps when he feels the tip of Jungkook's cock against his hole a few seconds later. Jungkook doesn't ask Jimin if he's ready before pushing his cock inside of him.

Jimin's hands grip the sheets tightly as he tries to adjust to the stretch. Jungkook's done an incredible job at prepping him because it doesn't burn as much as he thought it would. It's a bit uncomfortable at first, what with Jungkook's size, but Jimin takes his cock like a champ. Pride swells in his chest at being so good for his alpha.

It doesn't take long for Jungkook to bury himself to the hilt. A rush of arousal hits Jimin when he feels the fabric of Jungkook's jeans against the back of his thighs. Jungkook is going to take Jimin face down, ass up, fully clothed while Jimin's fully naked. The dirty visual makes Jimin's cock twitch and his hole clench.

Jungkook grips Jimin's hips so tightly it almost hurts before thrusting out of him to the tip. He slams his cock back into Jimin, hips slapping loudly against his ass. Jimin cries out as pleasure runs up his spine. Jungkook keeps repeating the motion, fucking him deep and slow.

Jimin's missed Jungkook's cock as much as he's missed Jungkook. He knows exactly how to fuck Jimin and Jimin is always left completely sated after they have sex which hadn't happened in years. Jimin's not even sure he's ever felt this satisfied when he was with Jungwoo. It's a distant memory but Jungwoo has never made Jimin feel this good.

Slick drips down Jimin's thighs and it should feel gross but it only turns him on more. Jimin lifts himself up on his forearms to fuck himself back on Jungkook's cock. Jungkook groans and pushes Jimin on his cock every time he thrusts in.

Jungkook fucks Jimin harder and faster and Jimin meets every single thrusts. The room is filled with grunts, moans and the squelch of Jimin's wet hole. Jimin rests one hand against the headboard to put more power in his thrusts, fucking himself harder on Jungkook's cock.

"Look at you," Jungkook chuckles darkly, "you love cock so much."

Jimin must be a sight, back arched and legs spread wide. Sweat is dripping down his face and he's pretty sure there's saliva all over his chin. Jimin doesn't really care about how he looks, all he can think about right now is Jungkook's cock inside of him.

"Yours," Jimin moans out, "your cock."

Jungkook bends down over Jimin to talk in his ear, "Yeah?"

"Oh no," Jimin whines when Jungkook's thrusts slow down, "don't stop."

"You're so cute," Jungkook chuckles, "filthy omega of mine."

"Yes," Jimin doesn't even know what he's answering to. His mind is more focused on fucking himself on Jungkook's cock but it's hard when Jungkook's body is draped over him.

"Yes?" Jungkook asks as one of his hands snake in between Jimin's legs to wrap around his cock. "Mine?"

"Yours," Jimin's voice breaks when Jungkook runs a thumb over his cockhead.

"Mine," Jungkook growls before digging his teeth in Jimin's neck. It's not deep enough to create a bond but it's enough to leave a mark.

Jimin's hand slides down the headboard to fist the pillows and his mind goes blank when his orgasm hits him. Jungkook strokes his cock and fucks him through his orgasm. Jimin's thighs are trembling and he buries a scream inside the pillow. It's too much all at once; Jungkook's teeth on his neck, his cock inside of him and his thumb on his cockhead.

Jungkook lets go of Jimin's cock and licks over the bite mark before sitting up. Jimin yelps when Jungkook starts fucking into him hard and fast. Jimin doesn't have time to catch a break. He tilts his head to the side to breath but it gets caught in his throat every time Jungkook's cock rams into him. Jimin's letting out little hiccups and whines as he tries hard not to cry.

His hole is way too sensitive but Jimin's silently praying for Jungkook to keep fucking him. He doesn't want him to stop. Jungkook's breaking him apart and Jimin loves every second of it.

"Good omega," Jungkook praises. "You take your alpha's cock so well."

Jimin is too incoherent to form words but he still manages to nod. Jimin's too tired to fuck himself back on Jungkook's cock. All he can do is stay still and take it like a good omega. The idea turns him on, he wants to be good for Jungkook. He wants to be good for his alpha.

Jungkook buries his fingers in Jimin's hair to pull him up onto his hands and knees. Jungkook wraps his other arm under Jimin's chest and pulls him up onto his knees. Jimin leans back against Jungkook's chest, which is still covered by his shirt.

The new angle is heavenly. Jungkook's cock hits Jimin's prostate at every thrust. Jimin doesn't know how loud he is, he doesn't even know what type of sounds he's making. All he knows is Jungkook.

"So fucking good," Jungkook grunts out against Jimin's ear. "All mine."

Jimin tries to find something to hold onto, hands flying off to Jungkook's arm around his middle, his hips and then his thighs. It's not like he needs to hold himself up, Jungkook's doing all the hard work. Jimin's like a ragdoll in Jungkook's arms, just there to be pretty and take cock.

Jungkook wraps a hand around Jimin's throat but doesn't put any pressure on it. He grips Jimin's inner thigh with his other hand to push Jimin down on his cock. Jimin rests his head against Jungkook's shoulder to expose his neck. Jungkook purrs in satisfaction as he buries his nose against Jimin's scent gland.

"Say it," Jungkook mumbles against Jimin's skin.

Jimin's getting fucked completely silly, he doesn't understand what Jungkook means.

"Say you're mine," Jungkook's tone is dark and possessive.

"Yours," Jimin manages to breathe out in between moans.

Jungkook pistons his cock inside of Jimin and digs his nails in his thigh, "Again."

"Yours," Jimin wraps his hands around Jungkook's wrists.

"Again," Jungkook growls, "say it again."

"Yours," Jimin whines, "I'm all yours."

Jungkook cups the side of Jimin's face to pull him into a kiss. Jimin buries his fingers in Jungkook's hair to bring him closer. There's no rhythm to the kiss, it's messy and wet but they need to feel each other. Jungkook's thrusts are becoming erratic as he gets closer to his climax. Jungkook breaks the kiss to look deep in Jimin's eyes.

"I missed you," Jungkook breathes out against Jimin's lips. "I missed you so fucking much."

The desperation in his voice and in his scent makes Jimin feel dizzy. Everything is so intense, Jungkook is so close, he's everywhere and yet Jimin feels like he's not close enough. He wants Jungkook so bad it hurts.

"My alpha," Jungkook's eyes soften when Jimin says it, "mine."

Jungkook nods before kissing Jimin deeply, tongue darting out to explore his mouth. He bites Jimin's bottom lip before pulling away again.

"Yours," Jungkook says as he rubs Jimin's cheek with his thumb.

They smile at each other before meeting in another kiss. Jimin's cock is hard again, Jungkook's pants are drenched in slick and his shirt is sticking to his back with sweat. The rhythm of Jungkook's hips alternate between going slow and fast as he desperately chases after his orgasm. Jimin thinks Jungkook's almost there when he suddenly stops moving.

"Fuck," Jungkook sounds panicked, "fuck, fuck, fuck."

"What? What is it?" Jimin tries to look at Jungkook but Jungkook hides his face into Jimin's neck. "What's wrong, Jungkook?"

"My knot, baby I..."

Jimin didn't realize Jungkook was starting to form a knot because everything feels so good. He can smell fear in Jungkook's scent and he hates it. He wants to make it disappear. Jimin pushes himself down on Jungkook's cock and now he can feel it, the swell on Jungkook's base. Jungkook grips his hips to stop him.

"Baby, don't," he sounds wrecked and Jimin can feel in the way he's trembling that he's fighting against his alpha instincts. He's trying to respect Jimin's rules even if they broke two already. "I can't."

"Give it to me," Jimin says without a hint of hesitation.

"What?" Jungkook's voice breaks on the word, lifting his head up to look at him.

"I want it," Jimin tries to move against Jungkook's hold, "I want your knot."

"Jimin."

"I'm serious, please. Knot me."

Jungkook looks at him for a few seconds. It's way too long for Jimin's omega who's gagging for his alpha's knot. Jimin rolls his hips on Jungkook's cock and Jungkook takes the hint. He leaves one long peck on Jimin's lips before fucking into him fast.

Jungkook fucks into him in short strokes, holding onto his hips for dear life. Jimin drops his head on Jungkook's shoulder and closes his eyes before wrapping a hand around his aching cock. Jungkook's breathing heavily against Jimin's scent gland, sending a shiver down his spine.

Jimin matches his strokes to the rhythm of Jungkook's hips, chasing after his own orgasm. Jimin gasps when he feels Jungkook's knot growing. It catches at his rim every time Jungkook fucks in and out of him. Whines escape from Jungkook's throat who seems overwhelmed by the feeling of Jimin's tight walls around his knot.

Jimin forgot how intense getting knotted felt. He hasn't taken one since Jungwoo and he's surprised at how easily he's taking Jungkook's. Jungkook's losing himself to the sensations, wrapping his arms around Jimin's middle to hug him tight and mumbling a litany of mine, mine, mine against Jimin's neck.

It takes only a few more thrusts before Jungkook's knot nudges itself inside Jimin. Jungkook's knot is buried right against Jimin's prostate, sending waves after waves of pleasure down his spine. Jimin strokes himself harder and Jungkook grinds his cock inside of Jimin, his hips completely stuck to Jimin's ass.

Jimin clenches around Jungkook's knot and the both of them cry out as they come. Jungkook puts his entire weight on Jimin until they fall onto the bed. Jimin barely has time to catch himself and Jungkook doesn't put much effort into holding himself up.

Jungkook grinds his hips against Jimin as he fills him with waves after waves of warm cum. Jungkook purrs happily into Jimin's neck as Jimin tries to recover from his own short-lived orgasm. Jimin's omega is over the moon, preening at finally being knotted after such a long time.

Jimin whines when Jungkook won't stop moving, elbowing him in the ribs. Jungkook groans but doesn't stop.

"Jungkook," Jimin says, voice muffled by the mattress, "you're heavy and I'm sensitive."

Jungkook only purrs louder and Jimin rolls his eyes at the alpha. He hasn't come down from his orgasm yet and it feels like he won't until his knot grows down. Jimin does his best to roll them on their side. It takes a little while for Jungkook's brain to catch onto what Jimin is doing but eventually he decides to roll over.

Jimin exhales loudly when Jungkook's weight is finally off of him. Jungkook wraps an arm around Jimin's waist and attaches himself to his back as he nuzzles his scent gland. Jimin smiles because this feels nice. Being in Jungkook's arms as they come down from their orgasms. Jimin feels warm and sated, and he finds comfort in how full he feels with Jungkook's knot buried deep inside of him. There's nowhere else he'd rather be.

Jimin intertwines their fingers on his stomach and settles comfortably against Jungkook. He's wet and sticky from slick and sweat but he hasn't felt this good in a very long time.

Jungkook whispers something against Jimin's skin but Jimin can't hear him.

"What?"

Jungkook groans grumpily which makes Jimin giggle. Jungkook gets moody after sex apparently, Jimin will have to remember that.

Jungkook tilts his head back, "We didn't use a condom."

Jimin didn't even realize it and he doesn't have it in him to panic. Which isn't good because they're adults, they should be more responsible. They were too caught up in the moment to even think about it. Jimin's omega is thrilled about the fact they didn't protect themselves but Jimin wishes they did.

"Yeah," Jimin doesn't know what to say.

"I'm sorry," Jungkook mumbles.

"It's fine. I mean," Jimin thinks, "it's not fine but it's not your fault."

"It is," Jungkook's voice is quiet. He rubs Jimin's stomach with his thumb and Jimin closes his eyes at the relaxing touch.

"It's both of our fault, Jungkook. There's nothing we can do about it now. We just have to be more careful next time."

They stay silent for a few minutes, basking in the afterglow. Jimin feels sleepy but he doesn't want to fall asleep with cum all over him and in him.

"How long does your knot usually last?" Jimin asks.

"Why? You don't like it?" Jungkook says and Jimin can feel him smile against his shoulder.

"I do like it. I just feel sticky and gross. I want to shower."

"You smell like cum and slick," Jungkook chuckles, "and me."

"I bet you love the way I smell right now," Jimin smiles.

"You smell amazing," Jungkook squeezes Jimin in his arms, eliciting a grunt. "I could fuck you again."

Jimin huffs, "No way. I can't feel my ass."

Jungkook bucks his hips forward to jostle his knot inside Jimin, making him whine, "Are you sure?"

Jimin lifts their intertwined hands up to bite Jungkook.

"Ow!" Jungkook moves their hands away from Jimin's mouth. "Are you into vore?"

"Oh, shut up!" Jimin says but he can't help but laugh.

Jungkook hugs him tight and laughs with him. Jimin turns his head to look at Jungkook and Jungkook catches his lips into a soft kiss. Their lips slide against each other slowly and the kiss is chaste. Jimin's heart is full and he feels butterflies in his stomach. It's been a while since he's felt this giddy. He's really happy that he's letting himself have this because it feels like it's where he's supposed to be. In Jungkook's arms.

"Twenty minutes," Jungkook says when they break the kiss.

"What?" Jimin raises an eyebrow in confusion.

"My knot usually lasts twenty minutes. It should go down soon."

"Okay," Jimin smiles, "then we shower."

"Together?" Jungkook wiggles his eyebrows suggestively.

"If you want," Jimin says, "but no funny business."

Jungkook pouts for good measure but Jimin knows he doesn't actually mind. Jimin pecks him on the lips once before settling back against the pillow. He clenches around Jungkook's knot just to spite him and Jungkook groans.

"You're mean," Jungkook says.

"That's hot," Jimin smirks.

Jungkook chuckles, "That's hot."
