"We're here bitches."
"Oh great, the asshole is here." Yoongi looked over to see Namjoon and Jin making their way over.
Jungkook scoffed at the sight of the older and walked up right in front of him.
"Hi, I'm Jungkook the hottest guy in this room." He said crossing his arm.
"Oh hi, I'm Jin. The hottest guy in the world. As if you didn't notice." He smiled, staring down at the younger.
"Jeez, I can see electricity between them." Jimin sat down next to Yoongi after his turn.
It was the first time Taehyung had met all of them together and he was conscious about how different he was from all of them. They dressed differently and looked more rough than the guys Taehyung hung out with at school. Definitely not math nerds to say the least.
"Taehyung! I haven't seen you in a while." Jin spotted the boy and hugged him.
"Hey. How is your mom? Is she doing okay?" Taehyung questioned.
"She is doing better. Much better than before. She said she misses you Taehyung." Jin smiled softly placing a hand on the others shoulder.
"Well tell her I'll visit her once exams are over."
"Alright that's enough, back to bowling." Jungkook suddenly interrupted, brushing the hand off of Taehyungs shoulder.
"So are we starting a new game or what?" Yoongi yelled from his booth.
"Whatever you want hyung." Jungkook yelled back.
"Shut up. I'm still mad at you Jungkook." Yoongi replied in a bitter tone.
"God, when will we ever have a day without bickering." Namjoon commented as if he deals with it everyday.
"Why don't we just have two separate games? Doesn't have to be a strict game." Said Jimin, trying to loosen the tension between everyone.
The boys seemed to agree with Jimins idea and slowly started the game. It was a little awkward at first, but everyone gradually started to get along after a round. Jungkook and Jin gave each other glares but Taehyung made sure nothing too insulting was being passed back and forth.
Taehyung ended up having a great time. He's never had an outing with a group of friends before. It was always either a study session or a visit to the museum with one or two friends from his high school.
Deep inside, he knew this was the type of friends he desired. The ones you can insult and joke around with, the ones you can talk about pretty much anything with. Anything but school work.
He realized how bland his life had been before he had met them.
Am I not living up to my life? Will being just smart get me anywhere?
"Taehyung? Are you okay?" A voice interrupted his thoughts.
"Y-yeah, I'm good. Just zoned out for a bit."
Jungkook poured a glass of water and handed over to the older.
"Here, you must be tired from yelling at both of us." Jungkook chuckled, referring to him and Jin.
"You guys fight like my parents."
"Don't really want to resemble your parents but okay."
"Hey do you guys want to go eat now? I'm getting really hungry." Hoseok spoke up.
"Yea, I guess it's a good time for dinner. Where should we go?" Jimin agreed.
"Korean BBQ." Said Yoongi.
"No, I want Italian food." Jin replied.
Yoongi groaned as he slumped down on a chair.
"No one wants to eat with your fancy little ass."
"I want ramen. The one just around the corner of this street." Said Jungkook.
Jin shook his head.
"Ramen is a no-go for me right now."
"Well no one asked for your opinion." Jungkook made a face.
"I want McDonalds. Or Subway. Either will do." Hoseok spoke up.
"Hoseok you know I don't like fast food." Namjoon frowned.
"My stomach doesn't feel well after eating shit ton of junk."
"That's why I said Italian food! I want Italian food!" Jin raised his hand.
"Korean BBQ is 100 times better than some Italian pasta or pizza or whatever the fuck you eat." Yoongi yelled back.
"Let's just take middle and say ramen. Ramen is asian food but it's also noodles and it's perfect—"
"But I want a BigMac right now." Hoseok whined.
"What's the harm in eating Italian food?"
"Meat is what I want. Meat."
"There's meat in a burger!"
"Ramen is way better than the shit y'all eat."
"I'm not eating peasant food tonight!"
"Then get your ass out of here!"
Taehyung stood there watching his friends fight over the food they wanted to eat.
It was chaos. A chaos he's never experienced.
And he stood there and laughed at his friends.
