"Oh, it's just you being creative!"
Sometimes I have the craziest dreams.
Most of the time, my dreams are about problem-solving.
But sometimes...
Problem-solving dreams freak me out WAY too much.
I'll just describe it in a short story.
The sun was too bright for it to be morning, so perhaps it was sometime afternoon. There was a whole lot of company over; people Flare loved, and people she didn't even recognize. They all had some sort of trend on their mind.
But not Flare.
Flare was the odd one out.
There was a group of girls in her bedroom, chatting about the silliest sinning times they've ever had. She decided to sit with them and chat and laugh.
Flare began to feel a potential friendship growing with them.
Until... one girl appeared with a knife.
"It's sinning time..." she barely murmured. Her eyes were cold, her dark hair frazzled, and she wore black clothes, to hide the stains of scarlet that soaked the fabric.
The girl pinned down one of Flare's new friends on a table. "You call Fontcest a sin? I will show you the real meaning of what it is to be a sinner!" She hissed.
"What are you doing?!" The victim screamed. Flare stared at the two girls nervously. It would be dreadful to watch. The friendliest of the group had the most perfect blonde hair, and it would soon be soaked in her own blood.
In reply, the sinner stabbbed her target in the throat. The girl let out a choked scream. Flare didn't have the courage to speak. The world blurred around her as she and the other girls watched the awful sight.
The evil girl then cuts open her stomach. The blondie appeared to be dead, but fear and shock was plastered to her now pale face. Everyone kept watching as the girl cut her up, ripped out her intestines, until the girl was nothing but a pulp.
"Who's next?" The girls muttered. Her eyes darted around until they stopped to stare at yours truly.
The girl brought Flare closer, and braced her knife for a mortally wounding cut.
"NO!" Flare barked, pushing away the girl and holding her blood-bathed fist.
"I won't let you kill anyone else," She snarled, baring her teeth and narrowing her eyes.
But the girl retaliated, lunging at Flare with her knife. She caught the young fox on the wrist. Flare shrieked in fear and fury, and tackled the girl to the floor.
When the fighting stopped, Flare had deep cuts in her face and arm as well. The girl had a bruise forming on her fighting hand.
And then, there was silence.
No more talking,
No more fighting,
Just plain silence.
Relieved, Flare just stood, closing her eyes, as she prepared to return to the world of reality, where she was just asleep in bed.
See?
Believe me now?
