XI

There was uproar at the Tower, Guardians want answers as to why are the Tenno seemingly executing their friends without any thought. There have been more than one instance of that, Tenno killing off Guardians who are seemingly scared and confused. Lua stood over the ledge, ignoring the voices of the Guardians and looking out towards the City, admiring it's beauty. A couple Guardians threw some trash at her but she ignored it, however, by her side stood another Tenno, one that didn't want to tolerate this. He went by the name of Eldar, he always operates solo as his wrath is explosive and destructive. His main frame allowed him to simply wreck havoc upon the battlefield bellow him, rise up an army that would only aid him in the killing that would occur before him. His Nekros thrived for death, he hated when others would help him out, he liked the thrill of killing them personally, being a child of an Orokin he had honor and independence, hating to rely on others. His Nekors equipped with a Trumna, Laetum and the Hate, nothing could stand in his way. After enough rubbish had been thrown at them, Lua had enough and decided to confront the angry crowd. She turned around, her cold gaze scanning the crowd in front of her. The crowd went silence when a person walked out in front of them. It was Aiden, his anger on full display towards the Tenno. He stood only a couple feet away from her, his hate filled gaze bore into her.

Aiden: We want answers Tenno. Why are you killing us off?

Lua: Because we are doing you a favor in killing them.

This statement caused even more of an uproar among the angry crowd.

Aiden: We are supposed to be allies? And yet, you kill us in cold blood. You really are snakes aren't you, I knew we shouldn't have trusted you. You reeked of distrust from the beginning.

Lua: We are allies and what we did was necessary. We did a favor for those Guardians by killing them.

Aiden: Why? What favor is death?

Lua: Being free from HIM. That is freedom. Your minds can not fight off HIM.

Aiden: And who is that, HIM, you speak of? Some made up person?

Lua: Our creator. Our power granter. The horrors that they would experience would be so great that death is the only escape.

Aiden: You constantly look down on us. We have faced horrors that you could not imagine, we faced odds that you would never be able to face. You think you are better than us, well you aren't.

Lua: Oh please. Your poor mind wouldn't be able to understand what we went through. Our own parents hunting us down, ripping us apart, killing their own young, one by one. Being turned into monstrosities that we then had to kill. Having to experience death for tens of thousands of time.

Aiden: Oh no, that sounds so horrible. Please shut up, you never faced against the De...

Lua: Deathsong, we know what it is. You see, the good thing about it that it kills you. Tell me, would you constantly like to hear whispers, voices of your deceased, screams, never ending. Torturing you till your mind completely shatters and you become HIS puppet. You are weak, you powers are not enough as you have witnessed many times.

Aiden: They were completely fine up until you showed up. If it weren't for you, we would have done perfectly alright.

Lua: YOU THINK THAT WE WANTED TO COME HERE?!

Lua yelled out, her fists clenched.

Lua: If you want us to disappear then we will go. Leave you to the mercy of the Void and the Sentients. We will watch from the sides as your people are ruthlessly killed off by a power that you can not fight against. You should be grateful that we are here.

Aiden: Shut up, we would find a way to fight against them. As we have done with so many before.

Lua: Do you want us to go?

Guardians: YES!

Lua: Very well. Eldar, send forward a message to everyone that we are leaving. If they die off, it is up to them.

Lua walks past the crowd of Guardians, cheering as the Tenno will leave. And soon, the message is sent across the universe. The Tenno orbiters leaving the space around Earth, going somewhere. This sends confusion across the Vanguard ranks as they were not notified of this and didn't know what was going on. Lua stormed past a confused Zavala and Ikora as well as Lorelei. Lorelei rushed for Lua to see what in the world was going on and Zavala and Ikora went to investigate what the cheering was about. Lorelei caught up with Lua and grabbed her by the shoulder to stop her.

Lorelei: What the hell is going on? Why are your people leaving?

Lua: Well, we aren't wanted here so we will leave. As your people had said, they will find a way to fight off and survive against what came with us, from the other side.

Lorelei: What?! This must be some kind of misunderstanding. We need you.

Lua: Well your forces don't think so. They are quite happy, more so than ever it seems. They are quite pleased when I agreed we would leave.

Lorelei: Wait Lua. We can talk this through with them. P..

Luas anger takes over her and quickly teleports and grabs Lorelei by the throat. Even if Lorelei is a Guardian somehow Luas grip is unbreakable. This isn't Lua's strength, there is something else here. Her once glowing eyes turned a deep shade of red and grey, small traces of some energy flowing out of her.

Lua: Shut up! Your people are confident that they can live without us, so why not leave them be. We aren't welcome here, like in most places. Maybe we are the devils and maybe we are simply destined to this damn life. So please, shut the fuck up and stop saying you need us when it is clear that you don't.

Lorelei: L...Lua

Lua: I mean, did you hear them how happy they were. They couldn't have been more relieved that we were going. Our alliance, our bright wishful thinking. It is over. Don't you ever come begging us for help, not even on your knees.

Lua releases her hold on Lorelei, causing her to drop onto the ground. Transferring into her Warframe her Liset comes by shortly. One last time she takes a look back at Lorelei before departing. Once full skies of Orbiters are now empty, only the Guardians ships fly above the city. All of the Tenno went back as quickly as they came, not even revealing where they went. And to some extent, Lua was right. Under this facade of hospitality there was the true image. The people here didn't believe them, some even resented them as they came in, mocking the Guardians and with them came new dangers that were not needed. There was true hate, as many have lost their lives by these new forces, many have been insulted by the Tenno, not on purpose, but still an insult. The city network was full of these posts of confusion and information, their allies had simply disappeared. Zavala was not happy, he was furious. Guardians, who are supposed to be welcoming and merciful, humans who had nowhere to go, were behaving in such a way, It wouldn't have been so bad if the danger that came with the Tenno had left, but it was still there. In the following weeks, there was a sour mood in the ranks of the Vanguard, conflicting sides. But that was put aside as they had to deal with not only Cabal, Hive, Vex and Fallen, but also Grineer, Corpus and Infested. Strangely, there were no sighting of the forces that they couldn't deal with. That was a relief but also worrying.

However, all was not normal. On the edge of the system, a massive crack had formed in the space itself. A flurry of Void storms had been terrorizing that part, the good thing, there was nothing there that was of worry. Apart from a lone Darkness ship that seemed to have been caught up in the storm, stuck in-between realms and time. Neither ageing nor moving, slowly being corrupted by the Void. It's outer shell slowly turning into Void formations, the inside being flooded by Void angels. As well as that, the Hive forces that came into contact with Void rifts have been blessed by it's powers. Turning into Eximus units, imbued with an element that would aid them and slowly, others joined in. Being changed by the Void itself. And there have been even sighting of massive mechanical worms flying around areas, wrecking havoc and paving destruction in their wake. The Guardians now understood what the Void was, or at least what it was capable of. Many tried to grab the power for themselves but they were not chosen and instead were turned into mindless war puppets and had to be put down. Those that wanted the Tenno gone are now rethinking if that was such a smart idea, these new things that they are fighting against, they might be too much. Thankfully the system is in an all out free for all so it isn't as bad as it could be.

In a dark corner of the system however, the Tenno set up a massive Dojo that could accommodate all that came over. They decked it out to look more like a resort than an actual Dojo. They would take turns to scout out and report what was going on and they didn't care. There was nothing of the highest importance going on that they needed to jump in. The Orowyrms were not a threat and were relatively easy to take care of, however, for the Guardians, if they do come across them, they will suffer, or might not. They did say that they would find a way to kill them. Lua did feel a little guilty at first at the way she left Lorelei and acted towards her, but she quickly got over it, there was no reason to waste too much time on it. If anything, it could be dangerous, the Void might find a way to simply use it against her. They had gone though to that Pyramid ship that was stuck and it was fun to say the least. It was like a playground for them, fighting against 7 to 8 Void angels at once is challenging but not too much to not be fun. Watching the ship slowly become corrupted is interesting, beautiful but also scary. As the Darkness itself here can not stop the Void, it simply consumes it if it wants to. Though, thanks to that, Void relics have been cracked by the hundreds on that ship, even the Murmur themselves had seemed to show up which was fun. The ship also formed many portals leading into the Duviri paradox which many would go into simply to relax around as when there was Joy, it was staggeringly beautiful and peaceful. The Man In the Wall had not shown himself, but they await for him to show himself at any moment and see what he will add into his game.

But for now, the Tenno will simply relax, visit the Earth and other planets from time to time to explore and relax there. They don't really have a duty to uphold now, to protect anyone. However, there had been talks among the Tenno to build barracks and rooms for the possible refugees of the many factions that might show up. Maybe, when they have the ability to head back home they could bring them over and they could live a new life, explore new things. Who knows what the future will hold as with the Void, it is uncertain, has it happened in another timeline, how did it go. It is unknown.
