(Sam's pov)

"So you're saying that this entire thing is some tournament?" I said confused 

Storm nodded "Yes the whole point of this is to see who is the strongest and help awaken Yveltal,"

Storm, Syl, and Rose ember(( Or just rose)) are currently taking us to our room her Jay had asked what was the whole point of them kidnapping Pokemon  and apparently all the Pokemon here other than us had been invited and it was supposed to be staged as a kidnapping but since we interfered they took us here for the tournament.

"So you're saying if we had just stayed home then we would have been fine?" Solaz asked

"Yea pretty much," Storm said nodding

Solaz and Jay glared at me and I raised my hands up "Hey I was going to do this alone You two decided to come with me," I defended   

They tilt their heads nodding in agreement "Well that is true," Solaz said

"Hey what about you adreana?" I asked

" I was going to go over a friends house when they um kidnapped me," She said 

I looked at storm "You said the kidnapping thing was an act," I said with a little anger

Storm seemed like she was panicking "Oh they must have mistaken you, on the invitation, it said to wait outside their house at midnight," She said with fear in her eye ((She is lying))

I look at solaz and he nodded I looked back at storm and closed my eyes concentrating on her thought once I had gotten in her mind I opened my eyes. "Hey, why did you close your eyes?" Storm asked

"oh I had a headache," I lied 

'Hmm he could be lying but I don't know as long as they stop asking questions we should be good,' 

I quickly severed the connection wondering 'what is she talking about?'

"Alright here your room," Syl said happily 

I looked around and saw the door it didn't look welcoming at all it was just one wooden door with what looked like two torches on the sides

Syl opened the door with her ribbons ((I think they're called that)) and let us in.

"Whoa," Jay murmured 

And I agreed it looked amazing there were a couple of ponds and another waterfall with what looked like 5 beds on the end of it

"You guys like it?" Rose asked

We all nodded "Alright them we'll let you guy settle in and be back soon," Storm said leaving with the others

I looked around ok I'll admit it's nice but storms hiding something," I said

Adreana looked at me "How do you know that?"

"Oh I used mind reader," I said 

She looked at me "You know mind reader?"

I nodded "yes it comes in handy in some cases,"

I looked around  "I can try to read rose and syl's mind but it may take a while to actually get anything,"

"The only way is if you guys can somehow distract them and I could try but reading more than one mind I won't know who is talking,"

Jay started to look around "Hey guys there's a set of stairs here," He said pointing 

Solaz looked at him "Oh yay some stairs nice job," He said rolling his eyes

Jay just looked at him confused "What your problem?"

"Oh my problem is that I don't know we are stuck on an island where we have to fight," He snapped

I just looked at the two "Whoa guys calm down we will find a way out," I said

'You won't you'll be stuck here forever,'

I looked around trying to see who was talking "Did you guys say anything?"

Jay and adreana shook their heads while solaz just stared into to space "Solaz you ok?" Adreana asked

"We can't escape," He muttered 

We looked at each other "Solaz what are you saying we will get out," Jay said

"We can't escape," He muttered again

we all look at each other again and jay looked at me and we had a quick eye conversation telling me to use mind read with his eyes I nod and closed my eyes trying to get access to his mind. Once I got in I heard his thoughts.

'You'll be stuck here there is no escape,' Froze that wasn't solaz talking someone else is using mind reader trying to trick him

'There is no use in trying just give up,'

I could feel him giving in and had to try and stop him 'Solaz don't give up we can escape,' I telepathically said 

'No you must give up,'

'Solaz listen to me you can't give up we need you.'

'Give up,'

'Don't you dare,'

It was a back and forth argument both of us trying to get solaz listening to us when I had an idea I severed the connection and walk up to him. Tilting my head I took a deep breath and((THEY GONNA KISS WHAT OH HELLLLLLLL NO)) and slapped him ((Oh thank god I was wrong)) The vacant look in his eye left and he looked around "What happened and why does my cheek hurt?"

"I slapped you," I plainly said ((XD get slapped bish))

"Why would you do that?" He asked holding his cheek

"Maybe cause I don't know Someone was in your head telling to give up," I said dryly 

"Couldn't you try something else?" 

"Fine if someone gets in my head you can slap me,"

And at that moment the door opened showing storm by herself we stared at her "Y ou guys good cause its time for us to teach you how to use your synergy stone,"

We all nodded and walked out the door following behind her everyone looked at me understanding what they meant once again I tried to get in her mind but this time I couldn't something was shrouding her mind from me. I look at everyone and shook my head showing I couldn't get in. After a couple of minutes of walking, we made it to another door were Syl was waiting.

"finally what took you so long storm?" She asked

"Nothing just took a small detour to get something," Storm replied

Syl just looked at her before shaking her head and opening the door muttering something under her breath. We followed silently behind them going through a tunnel and walking into and underground forest.

Storm jumped on the log"This is where you guys will practice using synergy by fighting me,"
