A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said,

“Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” 

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!”

Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.

Then Jesus said to him,

“See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Matthew 8:2‭-‬4

Points to remember:

1 Leprosy man first trust Jesus that he has power to clean him - Trust god

2 He came and knelt before Jesus - We have to humble ourselves before god when we pray

3 The man with leprosy asked in a way that "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." - He didn't directly asked lord heal me. He gave the decision in gods hand and said - if you are willing then u clean me. Even today we should not rush up in our prayer by asking give that lord give this, Instead let's surrender our life in his hand and be ready to get only what god wants to give in our life

4 As soon as Jesus said "I am willing, Be clean" Immediately he was cleansed - When god give us blessing at right time it never delay immediately it will come in to act.

5 Jesus sent cleansed man towards priest to make him stand as a testimony before them - Are we living our lives today as a testimony before others for the glory of god?
