It was now the next day, and Stella was on her way with Ivy to the Mystic Falls Grill to have a light breakfast before she had to work at the school. She had always made an attempt to have these mornings with Ivy because she is mostly busy throughout the rest of her day.
It was unfair to Ivy, but Stella had to provide for her one or another.
As the two were spending some time together, Stella saw that Elijah was also here. She had then waved her hand up and said
"Oh, hey Elijah. Good morning," Stella said with a smile on her face.
Elijah had turned his head to see her, pretending as though he did not notice that she was here from the second that he had walked in. He was trying to clear his head from her and apparently fate is a very funny thing because he saw Stella again.
She looked radiant in the morning, at least in Elijah's opinion. She looked refreshed and ready to start the day her posture was one that was just showering beams of light.
"Good morning Ms.Flemming," Elijah spoke.
He was attempting to keep some sort of formality in front of her, maybe to put some distance between each other. He did not know what to do in the situation, because he himself did not understand where the sudden feelings were coming, the sudden urge to be around her and her daughter.
"You do not have to call me Ms.Flemming, just call me Stella, no need for all of the formalities," Stella replied almost immediately.
She shook her head and laughed at herself, no one had referred to her by her last name, and it was too formal for Stella to begin with. Even in the boarding school, she got everyone to call her Stella, addressing her by her last name was not something she wanted.
Stella hated it when someone addressed her formally, there was no need for it. Stella was a girl who enjoyed being more casual rather than formal and being more humorous than serious.
Elijah had seemed to be the extract opposite in some ways from Stella.
"Okay, Stella," Elijah replied while he had given her a radiant smile.
Elijah's gaze had moved onto the baby that was sitting close to Stella, also having some food. She was not as messy as one would expect from the baby, but she had looked adorable as she had sat with her mother.
"And hello Ivy," he spoke while moving closer to Ivy.
Ivy had begun to babble incoherently and wiggled around in her seat, almost as though she had wanted someone to pick her up. Though it was beyond Stella to understand exactly what Ivy wants, it changes as time moves along.
"Say hi Ivy," Stella spoke while staring at Ivy.
Ivy had moved her head in Elijah's direction, and staring at him for a couple of moments. The two were
"Hi," Ivy spoke quickly.
Ivy was a shy baby, and that was evident to the people who had met the baby, but they had all the same fallen in love with Ivy. There was just something about her that everyone had loved about her, and Elijah was not one to be able to resist.
"So, what are you doing here?" Elijah spoke up.
There was no way that he was going to lose this opportunity, but it was as though his body was not listening to his mind. The smooth and alluring Elijah Mikaelson was tongue-tied around Stella Flemming.
Who knew that all it would take to leave Elijah Mikaelson tongue-tied was a werewolf and her daughter.
"Just having breakfast before I have to go to work," Stela replied, in reality, she was almost done, and ready to go.
She just wanted to talk to Elijah for a bit longer.
"That's nice," Elijah replied.
It was then silent between the two of them, the awkwardness was ever-present in the air, and it was almost suffocating. It was there, and there was nothing that the two of them could do about it.
"Well, anyway, I need to go now," Stella replied with a small sigh.
She wanted something more to come from this, but if it was not meant to happen then Stella would not push for it. God knows that not everyone wanted to be with a woman who had a daughter.
"So do I!" Elijah exclaimed all of the sudden.
The sudden loud sound had made Stella jump for a moment before she smiled with a nod and walked away from him. Feeling somewhat dejected by how their interaction went.
"Stupid!" Elijah said to himself, feeling worse than he had felt in a very long time.

Okay, so after not having any inspiration to write on this account, I finally got a chapter out for this story! *party noises*
Idk how this story is going to go, it might even be like 20-30 parts, but not 40.
Thank you for sticking with me and this story, I know that I've been off for a while now.
