Standing at the alter waiting on his beautiful bride to walk down the aisle, Taehyung stands in front of all your friends and family with pure joy springing up and down in his body. His boxy smile can't be contained as he anticipates your arrival. This is the day you have both been planning for since the twins were a year old. You had been engaged a year and a half before finding out you were pregnant with the twins. Parenthood came first, so getting aquatinted with two newborns who depend on you for everything was a must before any wedding planning could occur.

There was never any doubt in Taehyung's mind that you were the one he wanted to be with and spend the rest of his life with. From day one at the club, he just knew that he'd be with you. He knew after 3 years of being together, he was going to make you his wife.

5 years before the wedding

You unlock the door to your apartment, Taehyung's hand in yours as you pull him inside. You've rearranged the living room and it's dimly lit as you inspect the candles lit on the table and the red light bulb inside your lap. You turn to see Taehyung with a big boxy smile on his face, so you match it.

"This is absolutely beautiful, baby." He kisses your lips softly, sliding his shoes off. "You didn't need to do all of this."

"Yes I did." You nod. "It was my turn to do something romantic for our anniversary. We've been together 3 years."

"36 amazing months." Taehyung chuckles. "Thank you. I love it."

You've been planning this special anniversary dinner for months with all of his favorite food. You made it all by hand and even got him a gift that you can't wait to give to him. You set all the food up on the table as he's sitting down, and dig in. You listen to his hums of pleasure as he savors every bite he takes, chewing in that little pout you've grown to love. You grin, eating your food and being impressed with your own damn self for how good it is. Making small talk, you can't help but smile at how you got so lucky to have Taehyung as yours. GOT7's Pray plays in the background quietly as you finish up dinner and you find yourself humming along while straightening up your small space.

You look up to see Taehyung just staring at you, his eyes shining. You giggle, "What?"

He shakes his head, smiling back at you. "Nothing. Just thinking about our last 3 years together."

"Almost picture perfect."

"Almost." He nods in agreement.

You find yourselves just looking at each other until you clear your throat. "I have something for you."

His eyes widen in a surprise. "You do?"

"Yes." You giggle. You reach into the pocket of your cardigan and pull out a decent sized box. You slide it across the table toward him. "I hope you like it."

He retrievese box and opens it to find a silver necklace with a pendant on it. "It's so nice. I love it." He puts it on immediately and it suits him. You're very happy you picked that one. "Thank you baby."

"You're welcome. I saw it and felt like it was you." You can't stop smiling as you watch him feel over the pendant.

"It is. And I have something for you. Close your eyes."

"Oh? Okay." You obey, closing your eyes and letting the darkness consume you. You hear Taehyung stand out of his chair and you frown slightly. "Tae-"

"Give me your hand. You have to stand." He says, making you jump at how close he is now.

Nonetheless, you hold your hand out for him to grab. He pulls you up, not before taking the chance to peck your lips. You smile as you now stand, your eyes still closed. You feel him step a couple feet away from you and you're so eager to open your eyes.

"You know I'm not the best at expressing my feelings." He starts. "I'm sorry for that. But I'm not sorry for how much I love you and how you make me the happiest man alive every single day. We have almost a fairytale relationship and I want us to always have that. Remember when I told you what 'purple' means?"

You smile, sniffling as you feel tears stinging your closed eyes. "Yes."

"I want us to say that to each other for the rest of our lives. Open your eyes." You open your eyes, blinking as small tears fall from your eyes. Once you come into focus, you see Taehyung, on one knee holding a small purple box with a ring inside. You cover your mouth, trying to mask the sound of your cries. He has the biggest boxy smile imaginable and you are speechless. "Jeon Y/n. I love you so much. Will you marry me?"

"Yes, yes, yes!" You say excitedly, tackling Taehyung to the ground as he laughs through the kiss you've planted on his lips.

Marriage is a topic that has only ever come up a handful of times. Most of the time that it did, it was brought up by friends and family. The answer was always that the 2 of you weren't ready. And it was the truth. You spent 3 years learning about each other and now is the time that Taehyung felt he was ready to propose. There is no other way you could have seen this happening. And you're grateful that you have someone like him for you. Next stop is forever.

You walk arm in arm with your father down the aisle, eyes glistening as you see Taehyung standing at the alter waiting for you. Everything has led up to this moment. All the sleepless nights, all the planning, all the roadblocks, and all the detours. It has all come to this day. As if the only person in the room is Taehyung, you can't keep your eyes off of him. Everything is moving in slow motion and you wish you could stop time to only live in this moment forever.

You hardly pay any attention to what the officiant is saying, your focus soley on Taehyung as his are on you. There is so much you want to say & not enough all at the same time. All you can mouth to him constantly is "I love you", as he returns it. The officiant finally has your attention when he clears his throat. "And now, your vows."

You and Taehyung had agreed that he would go first. His was bound to be shorter. "Y/n." Your name on his tongue still gives you shivers down your spine. "I still am very bad at expressing myself emotionally, but you seem to make it way for me. From the very first day that my eyes fell on you, I felt that you were different. And I was right. You continue to make me the happiest person daily. In my eyes, you're super woman. You took me on and continued to love me, and carried our 2 handsome boys. There is no way other to express how much I love you than to tell you every single day for the rest of my life. Thank you for giving me you."

You can't help the small tears that fall from your eyes as you prepare for your vows. "This was so hard for me to come up with because there's so much and not enough to say all at once. I want to thank you for being that love that I endlessly searched for. You gave me 3 things that I will forever cherish. You gave me yourself, and you gave me twins. I can't imagine my life without you in it and I won't ever have to. Thank you for loving me the way I should. I promise to be the best wife to you. I love you, Taehyung. And I can't wait to say that every single day, forever."

Hastily, the "I do" is said and the rings are presented. You can't stop the smile that spreads across your face as you inch closer to sealing in your lives forever.

"It is with great honor," the man says. "That I pronounce you husband and wife. Taehyung, please kiss your bride."

Taehyung grabs your face and as if his life depends on it, and takes your breath away as he plants the first kiss as husband and wife on you. Hearing everyone you love cheering for you and your husband is the most blissful feeling ever. There is no doubt in your mind that you will have the most amazing life with Taehyung. 'Til death do you part.
