-Seven-
Taehyung's home is literally something you didn't expect. Walking through the door, there's lots of black and white, with some purple accents. It's super clean, almost perfect except a few things in disarray that makes it look like someone lives here. It's much nicer than your apartment and you almost feel jealous. You take a seat on the couch, looking around as you wait on him to get dressed. You can't help but giggle as you expected his home to be a little messier.
"Something funny?" His deep velvety voice startles you and you squeak, pressing a hand to your heart. He chuckles, "I'm sorry."
"N-no, it's fine. I was just- um, I was just thinking. L-like, your home is, you know, cleaner than I expected?" You mentally strangle yourself as your words jumble together. You've always been confident, but he makes you stumble over your words and your heart pick up speed.
Taehyung nods, stretching and his shirt lifts a little to show off his tummy. You mentally drool, but keep it to yourself. "Ah, it's only this clean because my mom is coming to visit."
You giggle, looking at him as he slips his sandals on. "Understandable."
Taehyung has on yellow lens sunglasses, an all black t-shirt, and loose black shorts. A black baseball cap adorns his head, making him look like straight boyfriend material. He's dressed for comfort, and you like that he doesn't try to overdo his appearance. You're a simple girl yourself, so you like when a man is simple as well.
"Shall we get going?" He reaches out his hand for you to grab, and you smile taking his hand in a heartbeat.
--
Your eyes lighten up as the Japanese grill restaurant comes into view. You haven't had sushi in a while and you feel like you're about to drown as your mouth excessively salivates just thinking about it. Taehyung notices you smiling as he finds a place to park. You now instinctively wait for him to exit the car and open the door for you. You thank him, and both make your way toward the building. Once inside, you're both seated by the host and wait for your drinks as you look at the menu.
"Everything sounds so good." You mumble to yourself, skimming down the list. "Maybe I'll have the spicy salmon? No, or maybe the crab... I want it all." You whine, louder than you thought.
Taehyung chuckles, and you try hiding behind your menu as much as possible. "Order whatever you like."
You nod, finally knowing what you want. A couple minutes pass and the waiter comes to take your order. You both order the same thing, and the waiter smiles as he leaves to go check another table.
"What do you plan to do with your degree?" Taehyung asks, sipping on his water.
You swallow yours, licking your lips clean of the excess water. You can't help but notice him staring at your lips, and you get this weird warm feeling pooling at the bottom of your stomach. Your whole face heats up, and you clear your throat, looking down at your fingers like they're the most interesting things in the world.
"I, um- I-I'm not really s-sure yet." You stutter, still looking down.
He leans into the table a little closer. "Can I make a suggestion?" You look up and nod for him to continue. "I think you should go toward a Master's degree."
"Really?"
"Yeah." Your food arrives and you thank the waiter as you both begin to stuff your hungry faces. The conversation can wait. Food is life right now.
You both finish the food and the dessert Taehyung insisted on. Who would you be to turn it down? He pays the waiter, leaves a tip, and leads you out of the building.
Brunch was amazing, but the day just started. You don't want to go home and do nothing but eat and watch Netflix. Venus has to work, so she wouldn't be there to keep you company. So you decide that you will spend the day with Taehyung. The worst he can say is no. And you need to be more confident around him anyway. He's been really challenging your gangsta.
"Let's go do something. And I'm paying."
He chuckles, nodding as he opens the car door. "Okay then. What should we do?"
You think to yourself as he makes his way to his side and gets in the car alongside you. "How about bowling?"
He hums to himself, shrugging his shoulders. "We can do that. I'm not the best bowler, so I'm sure you'll win."
You giggle, relaxing into the seat as he drives in the direction of the nearest bowling alley. "I'm not the greatest."
--
"Y/n, you're such a liar!" Taehyung huffs as you score another strike. "You said you weren't good!"
"Correction:-" You laugh, prancing your way back to your seat after getting a turkey. "I said I wasn't the greatest."
"You might as well have been lying. I thought I had a chance." Taehyung pouts and your heart melts. How can someone so handsome be the cutest little baby boy?
Pick an evil, Kim Taehyung.
"Oh, come on." You coo, wrapping your arms around him and hugging his side. "You aren't that bad."
"Y/n." You shudder as your name leaves his mouth. "How many gutters have you gotten?"
You look up at the screen holding the scores and examine them both. "None."
"And I have?"
You laugh, as you look at his score. You've bowled for 6 frames, and Taehyung has- "6 gutters. But it's okay."
"Yeah yeah." You continue laughing as he playfully shrugs you off.
Taehyung loves the sound of your laugh, and his heart rate increases at the sound. He's beginning to like you a lot, despite only knowing you for only almost 3 days. He's never clicked with anyone the way that he has with you in this short amount of time. And in this time, he's noticed little things about you. He notices the way you blink continuously to keep your contacts moistened. He notices that when you blush, its your right cheek that starts to show color first. He notices the like puff you take when you sigh. And just those little things intrigue him. He's good with picking up energy. He can tell you're a confident, headstrong person. He saw that at the club. So he wonders what it is about him that has you so flustered all the time.
"Taehyung? You okay?" You ask him, gently laying a hand on his bicep. You can see red creeping on his ears, then slowly on his face and that triggers your own blush.
He shakes his head, smiling at you as he grabs his bowling ball. "I'm fine. Wanna make this game interesting?"
You raise an eyebrow. "I'm listening?"
"For every strike I get from this game and the next one is how many dates we get to go on."
You are in a full on blush as he turns and bowls. With ease, he gets a strike and you almost choke on your own spit.
He smirks, surprised that he even got the strike. "Looks like we have another date coming."

Oof, this chapter was so bad 😭 it's just a filler until the next chapter, or maybe it's the one after. I haven't decided yet. So until next time!
